Derek is a knowledgable professor and a great lecturer. He lacks the ability to put what his taught into question form on the exams for the class. Sadly his classes are mainly graded by the exams. As a result the majority of the students in his classes get below a C average on the tests and that's if they studied. The exams are very broad and eviL.

Professor Milne has so far been one of my favorite professors I've had so far. The readings are a lot, but his selections are fascinating if you have an interest in different cultures and how that relates to us/our/culture/the world today.
