This teacher will go above and beyond to help you. He doesn't give a ton of work but the work you do is challenging. I enjoyed his class.

Easy class, didnt use textbook, definately talks about himself a lot.. is very disorganized. Simple tests, just take good notes off of power points.

Great teacher, but sometimes talks too much on one topic. Makes it a really easy class. He'll work with you on anything. Summer gets hectic because he takes it easy at the beginning, then packs the bulk of the assignments at the end. Highly recommended; great teacher! Easy A if you show up and do the work.

Very fun teacher! He is very interested in what he teaches he actually really cares about his students. I never wanted to miss his class. He doesn't always talk about speech. He likes to give a lot of great personal funny stories as examples to the topic. By far the best teacher ever! Only 2 speeches are required very easy class.

Extremely kind and generous, very helpful in any detail you need. Walks you through all the information. I you actually try you pass, if you slack off you fail. Only people who slack off drop the class. So knowledgable he could get you to buy your own blanket, but so kind he's pay you to take the clothes on his back. Few teacher like him that care.

Mr. Payne is a very great professor, he makes the class very interesting and his funny as well. Most of the work you do is common sense so the quizzes are easy if you read the powerpoints and study your vocabulary, i took this course on summer and i wasnt hard at all.

AMAZING GUY! He doesnt really care if you are there just make sure to know when quizzes are. He does talk about himself a lot , but he tries to make the class entertaining. Prof. Payne is a good instructor. Very easy class! Do as he says and you will pass with an A! He is very understanding and very very kind! Very rare to find a professor like him. At first I was worried to take a speech class because I get nervous whenever it comes to presentations. However, he made our class comfortable and we all became close.

Professor Payne is very passionate about communications. The assignments are easy if you attend his lectures. He does refer to the book but you could do very well without it if you go to class. Do your speeches on assigned days and don't depend on the make-up day and you'll do great.

Professor Payne is INGENIOUS. During a lecture he makes you think that he's just telling stories, but in reality everything he says in class is preparing his students for the tests. He's also there for you, and gives fantastic advice. The 3 A's I got this semester is due in part to the insightful advice he gave me about my job. Tremendous!

He lectures using PowerPoints and gives quizzes on chapters that you take in the testing center. I tells stories about his life, in addition to information about the chapter, to keep us engaged. When possible, do the work ahead of time, because I didn't. Most of the work was due the last week of class, and I got them done right on the deadline.

I really enjoyed Mr. Payne's speech class because he made everyday interesting and funny. He was very respectful and was as real as they get. Tells you the truth and does not beat around the bush. The class was fun, very interactive and as long as you know powerpoint and how to follow siple directions, you will get an A. I loved his class.

Best professor I've ever had and I've taken well over 100 units. He pours his heart into his students. He pushes you to be the best and uses life experience more than anybody else. I've never had a professor who I could talk to about anything until professor Payne. I'm sad I have to move on. Would have loved having him again.

Mr. Payne might give you chapter quizzes here and there but what really drives your grade is your 3 speech projects. His class is so much fun and everything he lecturers I feel as if he is just speaking to me in the room. He might seem a little self absorbed at times but overall he is amazing.

Very funny and easy-going professor. He didn't require a textbook but I purchased one from Amazon for $12 to help me study for chapter quizzes. Although it was an easy class, the syllabus wasn't as helpful during due dates but as long as you attend class, he will announce important dates. He also posts his PowerPoints on eCampus which is helpful.

Super easy class. Extremely easy, it's painful. You won't learn much but at least you get a super easy A+. Professor Payne was pretty unorganized, especially in the beginning but its okay. Everything is pretty unorganized but easy to do. Grades very easy. Just pay close attention to the directions and do everything early. You'll be fine.

This is an great class with a great professor. He is clear with instructions and assignments were soooooo easy. the only thing is that is is a little unorganized but other than this class is an easy A
