He's so cool! I gotta follow him because he has a good teaching style for math.

I'm taking DMV007 with Professor Rison and he's the coolest! He uses the board and uses the board to show all examples. If you don't understand he takes his time to help with whatever you don't understand. I recommend anyone whose trying to decide what professor to take for a developmental math to take him.

I highly recommend Prf. Rison. If you have a fear of Math he'll help you get over it. He'll work with you on all counts. He's very, very fair and nice.

Professor Rison is one of the best instructors that I have had the privilege to learn from since I started here at PGCC. Even though math is not my strongest subject I was able to get through it because of his patience and his ability to assist me in understanding the concept when I was having difficulties.

Overall great professor and a fair grader. I would take him again. Since this was only a 2 week I can't say too much. He does pushes you to your limits (to complete assignments) but he's not stuck up like most professors.

Professor Rison is the best math teacher I ever had. He's there for you and will take his time to make sure you understand the material. The material is done on the computer and is completed in modules. I registered for his DVM 0031 class and will register for DVM 0071 if he's teaching that class. I would take his class over and over again!

Professor Rison encouraged me to push myself even though I was significantly behind. He never said to me you are not going to pass. Instead he told me what to push for so that I could continue to move to the next level next semester.

Good guy, will help as much as he can. If he see's that you're trying he will go out of his way to help, even came in on additional day near the end of the semester. Uses every board in the class room to right sample problems from testquizzes. Advises students to use their camera phones to take better notes. I would take his class again.

Math is my first love and I could not understand until I applied logic as instruct by Professor Risson. contributed to my success in this class was due to actively listening as he explain and show various examples of formulas.

Professor Rison is very a good professor and is quite helpful. While the course itself requires a lot of work, he is always willing to take time to explain difficult material to anyone who asks. Also, he great at responding to your email, usually within 24 hours. I plan to take his class for the next level math.

This class was very challenging since, I hadn't taken algebra since high school. After eight years of being out of school, I thought it was crazy to take this class again. I really appreciated how the professor encourages, motivates and is patient. I would take his class again in the upper level maths. His teaching style is outstanding.

He does a lot of board examples to help you understand formulas. He is clear, patient and very knowledgeable on getting students to understand math. Funny, regular good guy.

The workload is pre-determined so not really something that he can be judged by. Prof. Rison is very good at taking time to work through problems with students, makes requirements to pass very clear and is there for support without hovering too much.

Professor Rison was very knowledgeable in the math, may have moved a little fast but stayed on a course. Participation was important! Wish he would have taken time to teach us using the calculator as well since the test allowed the use of them but all in all great teacher!
