She's the bomb. Two tests and three assignments all semester long. Like 80% of all material can be found on the slides she uses. Ask for emailed copies. She makes a study guide for the tests; she reads the test and puts the general topic on the guide. Great class and she's gorgeous to top it all off. Great class!

The senior thesis class fulfills your practi****requirement. BY FAR the easiest way to do it, besides paying for the prison tour. It's a semester long, 20-30 page research paper on a law enforcement organization of your choice. You've got to the research anyways if you want a job, so why not get credit? Periodic checks on your progress. Easy!!

She covered the class for Sutton. She's informative and clear. You'll learn what you need to learn from the class. Study guides are helpful and exams are easy. Consists of 10 online quizzes on BB, a midterm and a final. Should not get anything less than an A if you come to class and pay attention during lecture.

Took her for CJ 301 last semester and aced that class as well. Lectures can be a little boring but as long as you get down all the notes and use the study guide you will do great. 4 quizzes that are done online and are not timed and can use books and notes. Really friendly and easy going. She is an awesome professor.

Take this professor for as many CJ classes as possible. She is keeps the class interesting, and has a clear and organized teaching style. Exams are easy if you study the study guide she gives you. She also sends e-mails with up-to-date info about CJ related activities.

Anastasia is the friendliest and most helpful of the CJ staff. She has a great passion for the subject, and the class is informative and very straightforward. Easy online quizzes based off the textbook and a midterm and final exam are the basis of your grade. Easy class! Maybe too easy.

Dr. Anastasia is the best CJ teacher I had! I took her class during the summer session and she posted helpful voice lectures. Her tests were relevant to the readings, and she was always very helpful. Too bad she doesn't teach at sdsu anymore...I would take all of her classes :) Highly recommend!

VVVVV this guys comment says it all. Extremely hot. She only came to the class like 2 times because she teaches at a college in Denver. Everything was super easy. BUY the E-TEXTBOOK. Her quizes and midterms were all on blackboard and she pulled them straight out of the book. I just used CTRL F and found all the answers haha

it's a MUST take Professor. Awsome professor, very clear on what she expects from every student and his voice lectures are very straight forward and interesting. She takes a while to respond to emails due to the large # of sudents 300+ but she's always willing to help you and asnwer any question.

I learned alot in this class, and would recommend it to anyone who is even remotely interested in criminal justice. When I went into the class I was interested in CJ, but by the end of the semester I was VERY interested in CJ. Awesome class!

She is an amazing teacher! Her lectures are straight to the point, easy to understand. Her lectures are almost all online. Dr henry does in the inclass ones, he's kind of cheesy, makes dorky jokes :p but not bad. Dont need book, just take notes from the slide. Never went to in class lectures, just read ppts, got an A+ :) take this class.

Dr Anastasia is amazing! She's extremely clear and really good at explaining things. She's also very helpful, easy to get ahold of, and sexy. When she actually is available to show up for classes she keeps them entertaining and holds your interest. I HIGHLY recommend taking her class. You also don't need the book and lectures aren't mandatory.

She's from Colorado, so she only visits 3 times, but her guest speakers are AMAZING! Highly recommended (both majors / non-majors)

Don't know how a teacher that lives in Colorado got away with teaching a class at state, but she did. All quizzes and tests are online. She posts lectures which have answers in them but towards the end of the semester she stopped posting them because no one would show up to class (I'm assuming). I only went to class twice and I still got an A.

Easiest class I've had to date. Opened the textbook once & I didn't listen to any of the online lectures & I still got an A. All of the quizzes and tests are online and there was no homework or papers. I can't really critique the teacher because she was never there due to her living in Colorado & all...

This class was great. It was a hybrid class, attendance every other week with an exam in between. Awesome speakers. Although Desirae is only there 3 times throughout the semester, the professors that fill in are great too. Pay attention to lecture slides and you'll get an A.

This class is taught by three professors and several guest speakers who are amazing and make the material very clear. The class is hybrid, but relatively easily. Highly recommend

I took this class Spring 14 and it was easily one of my favorite courses. It was a hybrid class that only met once every two weeks. The exam and discussions are all alone. Impossible not to enjoy this course and nearly impossible to not get an A.

It's a hybrid class but you have to go to class on the required days because a lot of lecture material is on the bi-weekly tests. Curriculum is a little redundant but very interesting. Must buy the books. Easy A if you attend every other week. Keep track of the test questions & answers as they are used again on exams!

Class taught by three professors that rarely actually lecture. The biggest takeaway from the class are all the guest lectures that are brought in. Those guest lectures are great and give you very good insight and information. Class is very clear cut with 2 easy short assignments.

This professor teaches at a long distance. Her classes are taught maybe twice a semester by her in person, the rest is taught by other professors and guest speakers. Nevertheless, this class is easy. As long as you show up and take notes, you will easily get an A. All tests and final are online. Written assignments are few and easy. INTERESTING!

This introductory CJ Class was pretty clear cut and simple. The professor, Desire, comes from out of town, so the class is usually taught by 2 other professors and numerous guest speakers. Class is hybrid, we would meet bi-weekly. Tests were about every 2-3 weeks and only 2 short writing assignments and a final. All the guest speakers were awesome!

This class was very interesting, there were several guest speakers so it is important to go to class. Class was partially online so there were only 8 meetings. Professor Anastasia was very helpful and quick to respond.

She is a pretty cool professor! Class is hybrid meets once every two weeks. Professor only visits class at the very beginning and end of the semester. She is from Colorado and brings a great alternative view point from the CA Criminal Justice System to the Colorado CJ system. Good Class and pretty easy!

Attendance is not mandatory but the lectures are to expose you to the career. The online tests are designed for you to pass. The papers are strictly based on your opinion.

Awesome guest speakers, even an exoneree! Easy A. She lives in Colorado so when she does come to meet the class, she talks about the difference in laws over there and the whole legalized marijuana ordeal. Awesome class.

Super easy class. I took 303 and 300 with her. 6 test that's including mid term and final. Also assignments that are really easy kinda long but shes a super easy grader. very helpful, super hot and very funny teacher. you'll only meet her once or twice but she will make you laugh.

Online Class. Lots of material, but easy to follow. Powerpoint will help with all exams. TED Talks and Discussion required feedback, but perfectly spaced out. Class is very well organized and super easy to follow if you don't fall behind. She has everything spaced out weekly.

This is an easy class, and tests are mostly just pulled from powerpoint slides. That being said, Dr Anastasia is still a wonderful professor who is well versed in sociology and concepts in criminal justice. She makes the class interesting even though it's online. Get the book and read the assigned readings, they are worth your while.

I took this class online and it was an easy A. The answers for the tests could be found right off the PowerPoints and in the book. This class was so easy, I found myself forgetting about it due to the fact that it wasnt at all stressful. Take this class!

This is the 3rd time taking her. She's an amazing professor. Easy A. DB Assignments, 6 exams; including Midterm & Finals. You can find the answers through her lectures & on Quizlet. She provides good PP lectures, although she lives in Colorado she's accessible & always response quickly on emails.

Easy class, but the readings/viewings assigned were amazingly interesting. I learned a lot in the class. Don't waste time listening to her read the Power Point. Didn't need to study, just pull up the PowerPoints from the unit next to the test and ctl+f every question. She was also accommodating and kind-hearted all around. Great class, easy A

Compared to many other online classes at State, Dr. Anastasia's are some of the best. Her lectures are easy to follow, reference the source material, and she explains key information throughly. Also her voice is very attractive--hott! You can't go wrong taking one of her classes! Also don't buy the book, its a scam for 90$ you don't need.

This is easy, you can squeeze this in with 4 other classes and still pass. Just use the CTRL+F for the slides. Dr is teaching remotely and is in another timezone. But she is still amazing. I wish she taught more CJ classes. This is the way to do it! I crave these lectures, and her material! Doctor, you're amazing! Thanks for everything!! panic!

Take this class!! Took the online class, do not have zoom meetings gives you enough time to turn in assignments. You will get a good grade. Weekly discussion posts, few assignments and weekly tests. She is also really caring, overall would take this class again if I could.
