this teacher is horrible. if you speak gibberish you will do fine in here but otherwise if you speak english you will probably end up teaching yourself everything. there is really no point in goin to class because u cant understand a word she is sayin but if you can understand her u will wind up correcting her on her work instead of yours.

She really cared about the students. She allows sooo much extra credit, it's unreal the high grade I got. The tests are extremely easy, you just have to study and put forth the effort. Make sure you know the material for the review, she offers 10 bonus points, and the test is exactly the same as the review!!! You'll do fine.

I had her for College Algebra. She's not difficult or hard on you on hw, and she is very forgiving. However, her tests can be very tricky. The class didn't make me like math any more than i did.

This teacher is awesome. You will go over the work in class at least 2-3 days in a row. It is not until the following week she will issue home work on the subject which by that time you should have it down. This teacher is great she also gives short cuts extremely helpful tutor. She does not do a good job of clarifying notes. Notes are very long and she writes word for word and takes up a lot of learning time. Assigns a lot of homework to study for the test but the test only has about 13 questions. Do not reccommend taking her class.

She is hard to understand and moves very quickly(during summer class). she will take time to explain but that is often not enough. she's very nice and helpful, but her teaching style is not for everyone. if you struggle with math already, look for an easier teacher...

These last several ratings telling nice stories about her clearly seem fake to me so please disregard them. I had her once, and she is the worst professor I ever had. She really destroyed my GPA. I just came here to rate her for your good. So don't risk your time, money and GPA and find some better teacher.

Take her and you will end up doubting on your own intelligence. I always had A's in math. But after taking her class I lost all my confident in math skills because of the big D I got. Finally I recovered from the damage she caused me and passed Pre-Cal with a higher B. If you don't believe me, take her and learn the hard way as I did. Good Luck.

I cannot believe anyone left a negative comment on this professor. She is AMAZING! She is sooo nice and she will go the extra mile to help you in any way possible. She is very understanding and gives many chances to redeem yourself. She makes learning fun and is a great person to work with.

I took her college algebra class and it was definitely the best math class I've taken at Lone Star. There's really no need for a textbook if you have MyMathLab. There's a couple of major tests and some quizzes, but nothing too bad. She does a great job with extra credit and ways to improve your grade.

I felt like I've gotten better at math after taking her class. She is a good teacher and will explain and help you understand if you have a problem. She is nice and does give a few chances to help raise your grade. I suggest taking her class.

Wonderful teacher! I have been out of school for years and she made everything seem very logical! If you did not understand something just ask, and she took the time to explain. She also taught how to use the calculator for the Functions and Graphing. I know now more how to actually use the calculator due her help. Great Teacher!!

I have been out of school for 27 years. I have had the pleasure of being a student for Mrs. Lalsinghani for review (0308 & 0310) & now for College Alg (1314). She has some very concrete strategies to help you (though I had been taught "trial & error"). I have also learned plenty about the new calculators. You will NOT be disappointed with her!!

Hardest teacher i have ever had, I couldn't understand a thing she said, She made numerous mistakes that students corrected for her, she is all over the place, hard material, graded hard, I dropped the class after the a quiz and exam. I see all these comments about how nice she is, sure, thats true enough. But what really matters is her teaching style..which is non-existent! She goes too fast and almost never explains, i admit im not too great at math but my last teacher (Richard Dai) was fantastic. Im taking Trig with her and its a complete nightmare.

She is a great teacher. If you need help she is there for you. She also gives you the option to use either the textbook or My math lab. Do your work, and take the notes and you will pass with an A! And she is very understanding with illness and other problems that you may have.

This was an on-line class. She answered my questions in a timely manner. She follow up your progress and send you reminding notes so you do not forget important deadlines. She review your test answers and recognize effort.

We had 2 VERY easy projects that was basically like the HW. Doing the HW helps a LOT with taking the quizzestest. Your grades will have a significant change vs. when not doing the HW. Professor Lalsinghani is available to answer any questions and clearly wants students to succeed. Tests and quizzes are fair- she provides plenty of practice problems and explanations. Follow along and apply yourself, and you'll do well. She's a great professor.

I took Trig online, and with Prof. Lalsinghani and it was fine. There is a lot of homework, but math is about practicing. The class is real, meaning that you'll have 3 quizzes, 3 tests, homework and that's it. Perfect for people who work more than full time like me. Take it! You'll learn and will want all online teachers were like her!

Professor Devika is great teacher. She is knowledgeable and very passion about Math. Attending class, take notes, ask questions, and doing homework is the key to success in her class. She makes every effort try to explain and help students in and outside class room to make sure they understand all materials. I would recommend her to everyone

She is a good teacher overall. I never struggled in math but I did struggle grade wise because the only grades she has it tests and quizzes, so if you already struggle in math i wouldn't recommend her. As long as you practice your homework, go to tutoring with her you will do perfect on the quizzes. The quizzes are problems from the homework.

She was tough, didnt learn much and way too fast paced even when the students showed no understanding of the material.

DO NOT TAKE HER Would walk away in the middle of asking a question, would not give extra credit throughout entire semester (only for medical emergencies), never at the tutoring center, had to hire my own tutor, cannot understand her, moves too fast, in other words failed the class and my GPA suffered because of it.

This is a tough class. It's one of those you either get it or you don't. But professor Lsinghani is pretty fair and will explain in more than one way if you don't get the material. She lets the class use a cheat sheet for the tests so no excuse about how many formulas you have to learn.

Professor Lalsighani is amazing! She makes sure everyone understands the material. She gives quizzes after every chapter is completed and the quizzes are based off the homework so make sure to do it! She gives 2 projects and 3 test and the final. She takes her sweet time with you and if you're having trouble go to her office and she'll explain!

She has put together a good online class. The textbook is not required but it is helpful if you do not want to read it online. It is also inexpensive as there is no online assess code. She used lectures, notes, and the book. She responds to emails quickly and is available in her office as well.

Ms. L is a great professor, the material is what I struggled with because math is not my strong point. She will take the time to answer questions you have and repeat things. GREAT professor. Took her for fall of 2017. There were 14 quiz grades which were basically the evens of the homework and she chose like 4 questions. There are 3 tests, a little tough. Lectures are super easy! make sure you do the reviews for the tests. Final is cumulative.

Find a better professor and save your GPA. Her strong accent makes it difficult to understand and she was constantly rushing each lecture. She would introduce and "teach" a new chapter with only 10 minutes left of class.

I had to get used to her hw grading style. On the final there was a long review we had to do in class. It was made to seem very important to the exam, but there was little on the exam from it. A lot of the class felt deceived, and ultimately a lot of us failed the exam with no way to do extra credit. Our prof chose not to help with extra credit.

I don't know why her ratings are so low because this is easily one of the best profs at LSC. I had her for Stats and the class was such an easy A. I aced all of my exams and scored a 100 on my final due to extra credits. I would definitely take her again if I could!

I took their online class, and there are good notes to help you learn the material. She isn't the best at replying to emails or giving information out that is needed such as explaining how HW should be turned in or that you can take notecards into the test. The online tests are easy and so is the online HW, but she grades the turn in HW hard.

Shes nice however it is very hard to understand her and sometimes during lessons she makes mistakes and students have to correct her. I spent the semester teaching myself the material because I was unable to understand her.

I would not recommend taking this Professor's class at all. If you care about your GPA then this class isn't for you. She's a tough grader especially on textbook homework. The exam's are also a struggle, with no multiple choice answers and strictly fill in the blanks. The online homework is also a lot to do with each problem containing 7 steps.

The class is pretty straight forward. There's about 10 quizzes that come out of the homework, so if you do the homework, you just circle it and turn it in. There's only 3 major tests, a project, and the final. She's really nice. She always makes sure we're all on the same page and understand the material before moving on to the next chapter.

The class was statistics, I understood the concepts very well and had no trouble with learning the information when the class switched to online because of the Coronavirus. If you can teach yourself basic math principals then this class will be just as easy for you. Just read the problems carefully and "show your work."

She is slow and steady which helps the students understand the content since math is a difficult subject. She has about 10 quizzes which she drops 2 or 3 lowest quizzes and has 3 exams with 1 final exam. The final exam can replace 1 lowest exam grade which helps boost your grade.

This professor is a gem. You should take her. You may have to reach out to her if you don't get something but she makes things easier and is a great helpful professor. I must recommend you all to take her even if you are doing an online class she is the best for that.

It was an online class so I expected nothing much. You basically watch videos of some guy solving math problems and teach yourself, do a bunch of MyMathLab and exams. Not the most understanding. Went through a rough patch in life so emailed her for homework late submission, 7 emails later, no reply. Grade based on 4 tests and 1 final. TOUGH.

Horrible professor I have ever had in my entire life. She makes her tests very short so if you miss only two questions you are not getting a bad grade. Her reviews are NOTHING like the tests and she does not know how to teach. She has no empathy and doesn't think anything is her fault.

You definitely have to work to get a good grade, as expected. There are only 3 exams and a final, along with a whole lot of MyStatLab assignments and the reviews are a grade. All the exams and the final require LockDown Browser as well as a webcam. Her recorded lectures are sufficient, her reviews are kind of similar to the questions on the test.

Professor Lalsinghani Is a amazing professor. From what heard she teaches more online. I took her face to face. The text book is not really required (she will allow you to take pictures of her book), their is much homework to do. But it's a good way to learn the material. majority of the quizzes come from the hw. Only 4 Major test and Final!

Most of your grade comes from exams which are absolutely nothing like the homework or reviews. Homework and assignments done through pearson my lab statisics. Not very helpful, everything is prerecorded and exams are difficult.

Prof L saw likes to see her students succeed. I was struggling and she encouraged me to go to the Hot Spot for tutoring. She is there a lot. She offers extra credit and slows down to answer questions during class. She doesn't play around, though. You show and do the work, you succeed. You don't show and do your hw, well--you know how that goes.

I really like this professor, her course was easy going in and I would definitely like to take her from calculus I to calculus III. I would say for anyone who is failing her class is that well sadly that's on you because she always helps especially in the math hotspot and she supports her students, all you have to do is actually put in the work.

Great professor! You get out of this class what you put it in. Attendance matters especially if math isn't your strong suit. Quite a bit of homework but nothing too crazy. Professor L gives her students many opportunities to succeed in her class (ie offering extra credit, dropping your lowest test scores, etc.)

Sweetest prof ever and understanding. I got 100 on every test because her test reviews are j like the test. Her lectures are clear & she takes her time to make sure everyone gets it. Professor Lalsinghani's stats class was very clear to follow, easy to find deadlines, and had a little bit of extra credit. She is very understanding and will reply to emails quickly. The tests were proctored, but you are allow 2 attempts on each exam. Also all of the homework assignments have unlimited attempts so you can get a 100 if you want to.

Love this professor. Absolutely great. Easy tests, lots of extra credit. All you need to do is lock in and go to class. No studying needed - just go to class and do the homework and you'll get an A. Only grades were weekly homework and a few tests (approx 15-20 questions each). Super reachable and kind. Take this class!
