great teacher! his classes are always good for a laugh or two. very helpful when you need him. would definitely take his classes again

Devin is by far my favourite college prof that I've had. If you are choosing between him and another - take him! I took him for Computing Applications and he even made that interesting.

Best teacher I've ever had. I purposefully took this class as I'd already had Devin before for Marketing. He's very funny, and works very hard to get to know the students. Always felt he was there for the students first, and was super easy to talk to. Made boring materials interesting, and made every class worth going to. Two thumbs up!

By far the best prof I've had yet! He's fun and really makes an effort to help you out if you need it. Super clear on what he wants in class and if you follow through with the outline of the course, you're guaranteed to do very well. If you have the option to take him for a course, do it!

Devin was an excellant teacher for Computer Applications this fall. He provided assistances to students as needed, doing the labs are key to do well on the exam. If you need extra help ask him.

Devin was talking about customer complaint options in class for sales and mentioned Rate My Professor as an example. HaHa - REVENGE!!! Actually, I took this class because my friends said that Devin was the best. I'm glad I did, because Devin has been my favorite teacher so far.

Devin is a new prof, but you would never know. He is my favourite so far in my business studies. Knowledgeable, and professional, yet funny and likeable. Professional Selling is heavily about personal relationships and Devin emphasizes that by building relationships with students. You will feel important in his class. Recommend

He is a great prof, if you try, make an effort and actually work, then you will do great! He will be more then willing to go that extra mile for students that want to learn and will try. You sit there on your computer or phone all class and ignore him, he will notice. But you try, he will bend over backwards for you!

He's clear of his expectations, he's super helpful, his lectures are straight to the point so you can get on with your work. He's funny, and sometimes gives out candy for participation and correct marks. I would definitely recommend and would absolutely take more of his classes.

BEST PROF EVER, easy to get an A with him. Always available for you in and outside the class. Classes are interesting too. You get feedback the next day, pretty fast. Tests are EASY and CLEAR.

Was super nervous about taking Strat Man so left it for my final year. Devin spent a ton of time with my group outside of class, and really made sure that we were on the right track. Very approachable and supportive. Can't say enough good things about Devin and how much I learned in his course. Best class of my degree. Wish I had him sooner.

Tough course, great prof. Didn't do as well as I could have - no fault of the prof. Should have taken less courses at the same time as this one. Without Devin would have been a disaster.

Took this class because I heard good things about this prof and I'm sure glad I did. I'm taking two classes with Devin and he made my first semester a blast. If you want to pass this class, read your material before class and do all of your assignments and check online regularly.

I've been struggling, and needed some extra help, but my schedule is messed up and I live out of town. So on Sunday, Devin met me at 7:00am before I start work to help me with some of the course concepts and my writing. He also helped me with two other classes. Best teacher I've ever had.

Very energetic professor. Took his first year marketing class and he knows the topic well and engages the class in a way that you actually look forward to class. He is a bit of a tougher marker but is always willing to help and go over projects to make sure you are happy. I would take his class again and look forward to it.

Dev is the best prof at OC. He is so caring and it's obvious he wants his students to succeed. His class was difficult (as in lots of material, group projects and assignments) but he made it interesting and enjoyable. He offered many resources and was very clear on assignment and test expectations. Has so much personality, is fun & genuinely nice.

A time-consuming course. Had Devin a couple of years earlier, and he was just as good as I remember. Made the content interesting and relevant. Helped my team quite a bit which was appreciated.

Dev is the best prof I've ever had. He really cares about his students success & met with our group a dozen times, giving us feedback & help. He is funny, laid-back, & really knows his stuff. He is THE fastest teacher ever to mark assignments, projects & exams. In less than two days he had our long final exams marked. So awesome, take his class!!

Devin is humble. Wherever and whenever you meet him, no matter what he absolutely will say hi and ask how are you doing to you. He even touches your soul. However, the way he teaches is very fast. Read, do some exercise, tried assignment by yourself first are crucial if you are taking his class. Yet, he's not stingy with grades.

Thought the course was going to suck. Devin actually made it fun, and I even learned something I think. Will take another course with Devin if I have a chance.

I was going to drop school. No, I was going to drop life. A day doesn't go by that I'm not thankful that I took a class with Devin. Not sure how many times he's made my day better by just treating me like a human being. It took me 4 years to do a 2 year diploma, but it wouldn't have happened without Devin taking the time to show I mattered.

Don't take his class if you're easily triggered haha. Has a true passion for the subject and students and makes class fun! He likes to scare students but show up, focus and you'll get 97% like me :)

Super fun professor. Definitely looked forward to attending Devin's class during my first-busy year. I thought I would struggle with this course, but it ended up being super easy as long as you pay attention and do the simulations. Barely used my textbooks.

My group was probably the worst in the history of crappy groups, but prof was able to ensure I didn't fail because of it. Not sure if I would take course again because of the group work but did like Devin as a prof.

Devin made an initially scary reputed course interesting and enjoyable. There are a lot of presentations in this class, you simply get use to it and it is always with your group. Learned a lot and Devin was upbeat and funny.

I learned a ton in this class thanks to Devin's entertaining lecture style and positive approach. A friend recommended Devin for Strat Man, and I'm glad I took his advice. Wish I had taken classes with earlier with Dev.

First class I actually looked forward to attending. Prof made course interesting, had lots of good stories.

Devin is overall a great prof! However, the retailing course midterm was from Chapters 1-10 and the Final 11-20. Devin does not provide any review for the exams, other than to read the book, powerpoint's and come to class. I feel that there should be some review given as there is a lot of information in the chapters.

Devin is a great instructor. He knows his stuff and is able to answer any questions you might have. Has high expectations of his students and holds them to it. Technology in his class is allowed but he's big on respect when others or himself are talking - you'll be docked marks for texting while others present.

Enjoyed taking Strat Man with Devin. Liked the course content, although likely not not as much as Devin seemed to. Lots of group work, but Devin was awesome about that, and helped our group lots outside of class. Lots of work, but not a super hard course. Would take more classes with Devin.

Devin makes sure to know all of his students. He is good at explaining and is very understanding. I looked forward to every class that I had with him. He genuinely wants all of his students to succeed and understand the concepts at hand. Attendance in class is very helpful and is key to understanding the excel units.

I took Strat Man 2 with Devin after taking Strat Man with him the previous year. He promised me an amazing learning experience, and he didn't disappoint. The discussions the class had and topics Devin covered were amazing. Devin was my favourite teacher during my degree, and that's saying something, because I love lots of my profs.

Devin made a hard class fun, and put me with a nice group. I wouldn't recommend that you take a heavy load and Strategic Management at the same time. It's a busy course. Devin made the content interesting, and I felt that I learned more this term than the past four years. Devin also has candy.

I took several classes with Devin over the past four years. Liked them all, but Strat Man 2 with Devin was the best. Devin's a great prof. Would highly recommend this class.

Devin is a solid prof! Strat man was pretty lecture heavy and felt like we could have done the work for half the lecture. I loved the fact that it was moved online so we didn't have to do any presentation in class.

I took marketing with him and he provided the textbook for free and highlighted the key concepts that students need to know which was very helpful. You really learn in his classes. I was not even interested in marketing and I ended up loving it.

Devin is hands down one of the best professors at OC. I took his BUAD 340 class, he cares and wants you to succeed. That being said YOU WORK FOR IT! My group was a sub-par group so I could have had a better experience. HE is always open to help and he has a great sense of humor and is just a good guy. He'll give you a taste of the real world.

Class was fun and Devin had lots of good examples. Wasn't looking forward to being online, but Devin made the class interesting. Book had some mistakes, but Devin was helpful in navigating content.

Devin is super caring and helpful. If you show up and participate he will get to know you and will start asking you personal questions which makes his classes a lot more personable.

Took BUAD 340 with Devin. Class was hard and tons of work, but Devin made the whole process fun and easy to navigate. Everyone said he'd be the best prof for this course and they were right. If you don't do the work you will fail this course. Wish Devin taught other courses I need.

I have never met Devin, but from what I have heard, and experienced with Svan, please do yourself a favor and take Devin. The wait list for him may be long, but that is for a reason.

Best teacher at Okanagan College. He teaches one of the hardest classes in the business program (STRATMAN) but he makes the class enjoyable and gives you a fighting chance of surviving the class. This is the last week of class, and as much as I'm grateful this class is over, I will miss Devin! Fantastic teacher, a must take teacher in College

Devin offers very honest and valuable feedback. He does not sugar coat things which is refreshing. He is always available outside of class and wants students to succeed. If you show an aptitude for the course content, he will offer you mentorship.

One of the best and most respectable profs! Makes sure that you understand where you went wrong and where to improve. Extremely knowledgeable and is very real when speaking with you. Overall he is a great prof and an even better person! I recommend you show up to every class because of the needed effort to match the course workload.

Devin is a gem of the school. His lectures are funny and engaging. He responds to emails very quickly (usually within two hours of sending) and he grades things within the day. Hes a very laid-back teacher who teaches you a lot. Take him for every class you can/

Devin was amazing! Always willing to help outside of class and his lectures are always engaging. He is very intelligent and pushes students to think with different perspectives and perform at a high academic level. He is very accommodating and always puts his students first. If you have the chance, take every class you can with him!

Devin was my favourite Prof at OC. He's kind, approachable, and super enthusiastic about the course content. Devin really challenges his students, but I personally found that I learned more in his classes than I ever thought possible. A real star at OC

I took Devin's Strat Man 2 course in my last semester as I had good experiences in his classes previously. He didn't disappoint. I enjoyed my time at OC, but prof's like Devin really make the program awesome. He really makes you think of life and your career path in a way that you wouldn't without his guidance.

Strategic Management is a brutal class for homework and group projects. However Devin makes the heavy course quite enjoyable. He wants to help students to think and do their best. He adds humour and is very engaging with the class. Last class gave out girlscout cookies. Today on the midterm, more candy. Really awesome guy.

Tons of homework, but Devin was awesome, and made the class fun. Best professor I've had at OC. Goes out of his way for students. Glad I was in his section.
