She is the best Spanish prof Ive had so far. Never heard of her before I registered for this semester, but I definitely recommend her for those students who aren't very good at spanish!

Awesome Spanish teacher! Her class was the first class I ever felt comfortable to speak Spanish in. Fairly easy but you do have to study a decent amount for the tests in 202. TAKE HER CLASS!

If you already know your spanish, this class is extremely easy. Sra Hanahan explains things very well. Lots of group work. Homework every night, but the hw really does help you learn. Tests are very straightforward. Class goes by very quickly.

Wow, a great teacher. Totally does not call people out and make them feel stupid in class, like a lot of spanish teachers. The homework is super easy quiz grades that can be returned with corrections for extra points. You have to take her for Spa 102!!!! You actually learn in this class but is fun too!

There is not a better teacher in this school. She is willing to meet with students at any time and anywhere. If you can't do well in her class it is your own fault- plus she brings snacks for every test... and who can beat that? Wouldn't take spanish with anyone else!

She is the coolest lady ever! ! So sweet. I had not taken Spanish in 3 years before her class and I am doing just fine. Test grades so far.. 96, 98, and 100. Had one presentation but we could read straight from the paper we wrote it on. Such an easy class and she is so nice!

I'd have to say one of the most impressive moments was the first day of class - she memorized like 40 kids names within the first 15 minutes of class. A goddess of chili pepper proportions.

She is an amazing teacher. I cannot recommend her enough. I am not sure how easy she would be for higher level classes, but 101 was super easy and she is a really great professor. There were some students in my class that struggled with learning a new language and by the end she had helped them a ton and they went on to 102.

One of the nicest prof's I have ever had. She cares so much and will do everything to help you. Pretty standard Spanish class; daily homework, a couple of quizzes, and 4 unit tests and a final. But she makes it entertaining and interactive, a great person and teacher!

I took her for spanish 275 conversation class and it was so easy as long as you tried!! She is so sweet and so caring. The presentations were only 2 minutes and my midterm took 5min

An incredible teacher. She is so enthusiastic about her classes and cares a lot about her students. Before each test she would give us a piece of candy because she said she "doesn't like to take tests when she's hungry". Every Monday she had coffee for us and sometimes breakfast. I was devastated when her Spanish 102 class filled up for the fall.

Best prof I have ever had! So engaging and she is constantly going over the same lessons so things stick. She genuinely cares about every students. I always looked forward to class. My only thing against her is sometimes she would assign random busywork type assignments for homework that were not on the syllabus. Take her at any level!

If you pay attention in class, there's no need to feel anxious or cram before our quizzes. I love this lady so much. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had. Every Friday we have talent shows which are so fun. The exams are pretty easy, and she is an essay grader. Like every Spanish class, you do have to go to class, but she is understanding if anything comes up. She will not count it as an absence against you.

Professor Hanahan is by far the best Spanish teacher I have ever had! She is the sweetest woman and cares so much about her students. She goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience in her class. She makes this class very engaging and she has so many interesting stories to tell. I seriously cannot recommend enough!!
