Hes a good professor, as long as you do the readings that he assigns and participate in class, youll be fine.
Professor Blackman is a great professor. He has expectations for the class, but when they are met it makes the class more enjoyable. He only gives the class a hard time if the work isnt done or if students dont participate. There are readings and writing assignments but if you do the work youll pass the class.
He is a very great professor and is very understanding. Listen, come to class and do your work you will pass and also learn something .
HE IS THE MOST RUDEST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER COME ACROSS! Do not take him because if your one minute late your absent ! He doesnt care if you get sick .. your absent . Oh and each absent means 1 point off your final grade! He legit will talk down to you like your beneath him or something! Worst attitude ever! Dont take him because you wil regretit
The teacher is very outspoken and intellgent when he is talking about topics in class. He is very opened for a conversation, so be careful cause he can come off as intimidating, but he wants to be clear in what he is saying. The work for the class was fairly simple, but you might not be able fully grasp the material in the beginning.
Must come prepared. He will supply you with a ton of information. It can be overwhelming at times, but the knowledge is very insightful.
loved the class, kind of a lot of homework but its very thought provoking.. kind of a hard grader
Class is mandatory You should go. There isnt a lot of classwork but there is always homework. All the exams are essays. As long as you do the work and put in a good effort you should be good in this class.
The class requires lots of dedication and time, he is a really tuff grader and papers will make or break your grade more than anything. The lectures and topics are very interesting and insightful but the class, in general, is a lot of work just for a graduation requirement.
Dr. Blackman is very passionate about the subject material, but his grading can be harsh. He only gives you 2 pages to write important papers and expects a large amount of information and support within those pages. He definitely knows the subject material, but when students make statements or ask questions he may make you feel unintelligent.
Professor Blackman is a cool professor but, if you are want to put in minimum effort and still get a good grade... then this not the professor for you.
The class is very reliant on reading the material, but the articles are interesting and he has very lively and informative discussions in class. Participation is key in this class and helps boost your grade in the end. You can tell that he is invested in what he teaches and wants others to learn as well.
Lots of articles and interesting discussions!
He really cares about what hes teaching and he enjoys answering questions and challenging your opinions. He encourages you to defend your stance, and helps improve your writing.
Professor Dexter's class is really challenging. He requires participation and all your attention to pass this class. You also have to set aside time for a whole lot reading materials to input reasonable responses, more also a tough grader.
Professor Blackman is a tough grader and participation definitely matters to him. and attendance is mandatory.
This dude is driven on ego. He's arrogant and unprofessional. Yes he give a lot of reading but that's not the point, that comes with college, It's his attitude that only his opinions are right and if you do not agree with him, your grade will suffer. He does not respond to emails. I would never ever take another one of his classes., The worst.
The class was very interesting and really opened my eyes to real AA history; however, I would not take his class again. I prefer to have a detailed syllabus that outlines the professor's expectations and grading rubric which he fails to do. His grading system is up to his interpretation and if you do not have his POV then you are wrong.
Interesting class if you like African American history. I do not. But it was interesting and you had to think. Tough grader, but not the mean guy that said he was.
All around tough teacher with grading and all. If history is not your thing, this is not the class for you. Participation is required so if you don't, he will take it out on your grade. Be prepared for LONG, vague readings with a lot of homework. The only good thing I could say is that he has a system in place and sticks to it the whole semester.
This class is a naturally challenging class so it's hard to participate (which is mandatory) when you don't now what's going on and even harder to write an essay on a topic you barely understand. Office hours never did me any good and the readings he gives are long, drawn out and far from the point. Don't take the class or pray you get through it.
I took Dr. Blackman this past semester (Fall 2020) he is a very assessable professor and a very easy person to work with if you do your part in class and outside of class. Make sure you read and watch the articles and films he post to get a good grade. Take your time when it comes to the exams. If you take him you will succeed, I know I did.
Blackman is a good teacher and a hard grader. Very good and want to education you on the topic at hand and if you show you care he will be more than willing to help you out if you need it.
The class itself is very interesting, but be prepared for a lot of reading and writing. He is a very tough grader when it comes to assignments and participation in class is mandatory. He followed the syllabus the entire semester, which is good. If you need help, make sure to go to his office hours.
Professor Blackman was readily available for review over essays, and gave detailed lectures about the readings about the African Diaspora. He gave us ready notice for any cancellations of class, due dates, and upcoming essays/exams. He gives out a detailed syllabus that declares exactly what will be covered in the semester which helps incredibly.
Going to class is pivotal for success in his class. Smart thinking is definitely a tool used extensively. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO WRITE ON A COLLEGIATE LEVEL if you plan to pass this class. He will challenge you to think outside of the box and narrow your argument. I felt empowered this entire semester. I look forward to tracking history in the future
One of the best classes I have ever taken in college. He *definitely* makes you work for it, but if you go in genuinely wanting to learn you will not be disappointed! I left each class feeling personally challenged and inspired. I had learned so much and that the B was earned. And he will really make time for you and take you under his wing.
Dr. Blackman is a tough, but consistent grader. He make his criteria well know and does many things to help people get to the level he expects. He does a great job of giving context and making you think about your stance on them. If you want to really learn and have a teacher that cares about what hes teaching go with Blackman.
Dr. Blackman is a great professor who is very intelligent. His lectures will leave you feeling very intellectually stimulated. Be prepared coming to class to get the best results.
His attitude towards his teaching is nonchalant, like he's being forced to teach. He grades tough, but there is minimal work. He doesn't exactly "teach" his students; he asks the same questions from the assignments, then asks us what we wrote.
Overall Dr. Blackman appreciates enthusiasm and engagement. come to class ready to talk about the articles and even if you don't read it all he will eventually just start talking about it. The papers are short and he throws in a few movies. Honestly he wasnt too much of a hassle. Oh he does make you use smart thinking
He doesn't like African students!!!! Always making snide remarks about our accent! DO NOT take his class, I was warned but did not listen
To pass the class be there. Make sure you go to class and participate while in class. If you don't participate you won't get a good grade. Make sure you do your homework also, that makes up for the bulk of your grade. It isn't a hard class to pass if you come to class, participate, and do your homework.
He is so respectful and you must work hard to receive a good grade
Professor was a tough grader and gave a lot of harsh and unwanted criticism. Would not recommend if you have a choice. At times he would try to make jokes to interact with the students but he had already made us disconnected from him.
He is a cool teacher you just need to make sure you READ EVERYTHING he gives you. I suggest printing out the articles and highlighting them the old school way. Trust me it makes answering the questions so much easier.
Sometimes assigns work later in the week so be ready to read a chapter in two days.
If you're taking the class be ready to participate every class, read the article or movie assigned the week before to prepare for class. There isn't many assignments to do in the class so if you didn't do well on two or more assignments earlier in the semester..... your toast.
Good informational course regarding history and the African Diaspora. Professor thoroughly reviews all assignment which is helpful to students who may miss key points when reading.
He follows the syllabus throughout the whole semester and his assignments are not that bad.
He seems knowledgeable of the material however he is a tough grader. I barely got full credit on the assignments. And he gives less homework meaning one assignment can determine your class grade which isnt fair. The readings are pretty hefty so be prepared to read a lot.
If you're looking for a history professor who is both knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, then you should definitely check out Professor Blackman. His lectures are always engaging, and he has a wealth of interesting stories and anecdotes to share. He's also very approachable and always willing to help students.
Make sure you take notes on the lecture he gives, he assigns a few essays for you to write and the notes from class will definitely help.
Work hard to receive a grade
Work hard
Working hard is key to doing well in the class. You have to read an article before every class. I found it helpful to print out the articles, then highlight the important information to be able to discuss in class.
Professor Dexter is a great lecturer, With Strict due dates, you have to read every article assigned. You also have to participate and be present for every class. Not a bad professor overall, you just have to be ready to put in the work.
I really enjoyed this class. Professor Blackman gave a lot of reading assignments, but he took into account that not all would understand, he really just wanted to get our take on the reading. He was honest and fair. I would take this class again.
Partcipation in the class is mandatory. Make sure to use active listening skills and complete readings and overall work.
Professor Blackman is a great professor. He makes sure that we fully understand each reading during our lectures and he gives detailed feedback from our work. I would take his class again.
Great material for learning about something you have a passion in. Tough grader and few assignments to complete but extra credit is offered. Attend class and speak up to earn participation points.
Dr. Blackman is very straightforward and his assignments reflect that characteristic. Be prepared to read and take notes. Try to stay attentive during class meetings, and ask questions. Lastly, have fun!
He's a good teacher. History is tough sometimes but he helps you understand it. Although sometimes he may respond in a way that would make you think you don't know. The papers are not super frequent but definitely a bit of a challenge. Overall a good class and teacher.
Though I didn't do as well as I would have liked during the semester, I felt the class/lectures were interesting
Professor Blackman is a teacher who cares about what he teaches. You can tell by the way he holds his lectures. But he is a ridiculously hard grader which makes the class a challenge.
Professor Blackman is a hard grader and it shows by the amount of adjustments he had to make to grades throughout the semester. But you can tell he cares about what he teaches based on the way he holds his lectures.
He was a pretty chill professor once you got a bit more in depth in his class but he is an unbias grader he grades of the quality of your work and not who u are. I would say take him if you want to challenge yourself
He's a great professor, he challenges you but in a way that makes you better. It takes effort because he is not going to let you take the easy way out. Come to class, his lectures are great and they really help you on assignments.
Professor Blackman selects great articles for thesis reviiew. At first they can be overwhelming, but after the first two and discussing them in class you will be fine.
When taking Professor's Blackman class be prepared to read and participate. He's a very good teacher when it comes to explaining the material. You just actually have to do your part and do the work because he is a very tough grader.
This professor was a hard grader and expected a lot out of his students. Very knowledgeable and opinionated.
A tough grader, but if you read all the articles before class (there are many and they are long) and come prepared to discuss, participation will help your grade. Lectures help you prepare for the papers you will have to write so it is in your best interest to show up to class. He is a rather strict grader
Personally, I did not appreciate his expertise in teaching. Dr. Blackman constantly belittled our class forcing us to if ever participate rarely. I would attend class and do every assignment but I still failed the course horribly. I put my best foot forward and did my best. I held no grudge, I took the course and failed. It just wasn't for me!
Very tough grader, but at the end of the day still cares about the student. You will learn a boat load of information during this course.
This professor, while hard, will occasionally throw you a bone. Be prepared to have work in on time because there are no second chances. and if he gives extra credit do it. also, make sure you read the syllabus for how to complete the weekly assignment.
Professor Blackman is an amazing professor, he interacts with the class which keeps the lectures interesting. I would advice attending classes however because it is determintal to your grade.
This Professor is serious about the content he teaches. Get ready to learn and push yourself to meet all expectations. It helps in the long run to challenge yourself and use critical thinking skills effectively.
He can be a little less understanding than students are used to but the material of this course and the way he presented it was very educational
Proffesor Blackman is a very fair professor I feel like. He breaks down the assignments and exactly what he wants is clearly stated in the rubric, and he even goes over the assignments in class. The assignments/films he gives is a great source of knowledge that needs to be known that you might not know about. So I recommend you take this class !!
This class requires a lot of reading in terms of articles that are provided. Paying attention in class is very important to understanding assignments and completing exams.
Make sure you do the work, and participate in class, it's mandatory because that's how you earn points. Also if you missed a due date, he don't reopen assignments so make sure you submit on time. He grades very hard.
Professor Blackman is a great professor! The discussions we had in class were very informative and interactive. He is a little bit of a tough grader as he is very specific about the breakdown of his articles and assignments. Make sure to read and watch the videos that he provides! Great class if you want to learn more about African American History
You must do the assigned work and engage in class because that is how you receive credit. Additionally, he doesn't revisit assignments if a due date is missed, so be sure to submit on time. He gives tough grades.
Avoid at all cost majority of your grade is based on group work which is submitted by one person and if they screw up you all suffer. Gives very long readings and is very unclear in what his directions say and what he actually wants done. Doesn't respond to emails and attendance is mandatory and he is unsympathetic to family or medical emergencies.
He is extremely rude. Unreasonable group projects. Exams are worth 60% of your grade. Tough grader. 2/10 would not recommend.
grade is based on group work of useless, boring, and unclear articles which is submitted by one person and if they screw up you all suffer. gives you long unclear readings and expect you to know what to talk about,The quiz don't really move up your grade, would not recommend.
He is very hard.
There was a lot of reading, but if you keep up and take notes, you should be fine. He would not take my excuse when my care broke down, but I went by his office hours and helped me with the exam.
Pay attention and remember taking notes is key while he is teaching
A great professor! I would recommend taking his class!
Attendance and quizzes play a huge rule in the final grade for this class. Quizzes are short so MAKE SURE YOU READ THE SOURCE (likes to add trick questions to the quiz to make sure you pay attention) and there are NO RETAKES. Professor Blackman is reasonable but not sympathetic, there are no shortcuts when it comes to professor Blackman.
good doctor
Difficult class, but the instructions are very clear. Just be careful to site things correctly.
Horrible
This Professor is disrespectful
I did not like taking this class and I would never take it again
Don't recommend at all
Lots of tests, horrible grading
He's literally failing my whole class lol, when we attend and do work somehow everyone got below a 53
Don't got nun to say I hated this class
Terrible
BRO BROOOO
Don't think you should take this class if you have low patients
A lot of tests and he's rude
I'm failing don't got nun to say about this dude
Don't do it
Almost failed, cried all semester
very unreasonable and RUDE
Yeah don't do it

Attendance in his class is very important.
Dr. Blackman is not completely unreasonable but you have to make sure that you actually read the articles and videos that he provides because lectures always reflect on the material and you cannot really get out of it. Also if you don't succeed in this class from the beginning and go beyond his expectations then you will have to work hard.
Professor Blackman was a pretty good teacher, I just feel that it went a little fast. History isn't my strong suit, but for the whole course, I felt that I was behind and that I couldn't catch up. I also had issues writing essays to his standard, but he just had a specific way of grading them.
Read, and take notes especially when he's talking in class. It'll help in the long run. :)
His teachings are extremely clear and his critical thinking style is creative. The readings are long, yes. Do the work. Ask for help. Take extremely good notes; you should be writing the entire class. *Take this class if you want to develop FAST reading skills. Good Luck!
If you love reading and writing this is the class for u.
Overall his lectures are great. He is just a tough grader.
Lectures every class, you must take notes to pass this class because he will not post the lectures that he gives on Canvas!! You must show up to classes, attendance is a grade. Cool professor, tough grader, essays for midterm and final are worth majority of your grade. Need a good fundamental understanding of essay writing to get a good grade.
Take notes in class, as they will most definitely help with the essays.
Make sure you attend every class and take notes because they help with essays and the two weekly assignments.
Attendance is mandatory, make sure you attend every class and take good notes.
readings were long and difficult to understand, you need to go to class or you will not pass. Dexter is a good prof he helps you understand and lowkey interesting
You can tell that professor is really passionate about Afro history. Make sure that you stay on top of your assignments and to not wait until the last minute to complete the reading.
If you are a student that isn't great with time and attendance, this is not the professor for you. Be prepared to not only be lectured but to also engage in a discussion during class. Personally I wouldn't take a course with this professor again. However, he is a professor that does offer extra credit and sometimes extends due dates.
Professor Blackman was a good professor that taught well spoken lectures about the African Diaspora. I learned a lot about the African Diaspora thanks to his knowledge. There was good amounts of homework and papers and it was overall a very learning course.
Dr. Blackman's class was very intense and hard. The work we were given was mostly quizzes with very low points. The grading policy was to me was unusual and unfair 50% exams, 20% attendance 30% quizzes so if you were to fail an assignment or miss class your grade would go down tremendously. Overall don't take this course with Dr.Blackman.
He is very rude and dismissive. He does the bare minimum to help the student achieve academic success in his class. His behavior gives off that he is there for a check only.
He generally tries to get a connection with students to make them feel like they can do the work
Good course, I learned a lot. The readings were ok, kind of difficult to read and understand but the next class he would do an in depth lecture on the readings that made it easier to dissect. He related alot of the topics to modern day issues making it easier to apply.
I took an honors History course with Dr. Blackman. There were a lot of historical reading which was hard to get through but overall, I loved his class. I feel more equipped to have debates about racism and how to achieve liberation for Africans around the world.
This professor is a little hard to get in contact with outside of the classroom and the assignments are not most of the time a big enough grade to bring your grade up or keep your grade on track. But other than that, he is an okay professor. He should also be a little nicer to his classmates.
He makes 0 accommodation toward students who are actually trying their best but still struggle which is very dismissive. He does not allow us to take pictures of any notes which causes issue in our exam grades. He does not upload any helpful information like class notes on canvas. Overall he does engage with us and make lecture time entertaining.
He is a good professor don't miss class or the quizzes
passionate about the subject
I do not recommend anyone to really take this class unless you like long lectures and homework assignments with few instructions
Professor was cool fr as long as you followed basic classroom standards in class and at home you should be good for this class
He was very sassy towards students when they had a difference of of opinion than him when discussing during class. Two major essays worth majority of your grade. Make sure you attend and don't be late or he will make you feel bad for even attempting to show up. Mid professor good info we covered though.
he ok
Professor Blackman conveys lessons well and genuinely wants to hear your opinions. I really liked the class, just be prepared to work hard! He grades strictly but provides good feedback.
Professor can be a bit rigid, but the lectures are engaging. Definitely go to class and use resources like unstuck ai for exam prep - it really helps offset the lack of course materials.
Your attendance matters! He is very lecture heavy, if you like heavy discussions this class is for you. There's only two big assignments *midterm and final*, the little assignments will not heavily bring up your grade if you drop at any point. His class is top priority to him, he is not understanding of real-life situations.
Work load was easy if you took notes, exam grading was strict. Lecture discussions was very educating and the professor would have engaging conversations off topic as well. Would def recommend and take again!
Overall, Dr. Blackman does a great job of opening up the world of African Diaspora throughout this course and I enjoyed his class. I would definitely recommend doing assignments ahead of time, ask questions, and take good notes. I would take another one of his classes again.
Was a decent class
Great class, definitely have to pay attention and take good notes. Always do the assignments ahead of time and ask questions. But, a great and funny professor and would take another one of his classes!
His classes are fun, his attendance is mandatory, you are not in class the whole time, overall he was a good teacher and actually cared.
He is an okay teacher, but he is very strict and you will have to read a LOT in his class. There is readings 1-2 times a week followed by a quiz on that reading. Each of his lectures is based upon the reading but attendance is nearly 30% of your grade so showing up matters. I only ever missed one class and my attendance for the year was a 94%.
His class is straightforward. If you complete the weekly assignments and attend class, you should pass. Your performance in the class is entirely based on your effort. Overall, he's a chill and funny professor.
Great professor and great course. He's super knowledgeable and matches energy, if you don't care, he doesn't care lol. If you want to do well in this class keep up with the readings/videos and show up to class! Participation goes a long way, so don't just show up without at least skimming over the content.
Funny guy, I enjoy most of his lectures. Attendance is mandatory if you want a good grade
Good professor very knowledgeable about the class.
A great professor overall. The class isn't difficult to pass as long as you attend, complete the weekly assignments, and actively engage with the lectures
Personally I loved this professor. He's extremely straightforward, has engaging lectures, and the assignments are relatively easy if you engage with the lectures themselves. The only critique I would have is that he is an extremely tough grader on writing assignments, so definitely utilize office hours. All in all, I loved this class!
Dr. Blackman is very easygoing. He is very approachable and extremely funny. I would recommend him. As long as you do your readings, you should pass the class. For the papers, you should meet with him to make sure you are on track. He is not a harsh graded but still try your best. I would definitely take another one of his courses.
Be on time! He is strict on attendance and tardiness, you will lose points.
The professor lead good and informative class discussions. He engaged the students within the discussions to help them better understand the material. The class discussions were not only related to the assignments but also related to real life situations life situations which help gain a better understanding. Overall it was a good class.
i love this professor, don't get me wrong you will be reading and attendance in mandatory but i enjoyed this class so much i really didn't mind it. You learn a lot about the African diaspora and he is kind of funny too.
He cares and loves teaching students about the African Diaspora and makes them think critically. He doesn't force you to participate, but the discussions will make you want to do so.This class will make you challenge and view our history from a different perspective.
Really a great professor. A lot of reading if you want to be successful, but he does a great job illustrating the lessons. There's quizzes every week 1-2 depending on the week and topic. He's very understanding if you just communicate. PSA - It's possible to love this class and still almost fail!! Great class, but it isn't honors for nothing!
he's an amazing professor
Very good at making complex concepts easy to grasp by using real-world examples. Workload is manageable. Take notes and you'll be fine. A few issues is that the TA's feedback on exams contrasts with the guidance provided by the prof. The prof tends to dominate discussions, which overshadows different viewpoints. Overall, this class was great.
This professor likes to talk through the material, make sure to read before class to understand.
He is not a very helpful or understanding teacher, gives tons of work with little to no time to do it, and is also very disrectfectul and sassy.
If you participate and do your work you'll be fine.
If you come to class and do your work you'll be fine.
Terrible professor! Very disrespectful. If you miss class, he will drop your grade to a zero, excused or not.
His quizzes are so easy; however, he is so serious about attendance, and he makes you sit in the front chair.
I really appreciate this class and Professor Blackman for actually teaching and allowing us to learn directly from him instead of just from a screen or secondhand materials. His grading is tough but fair, and it accurately reflects how well you understand the material.
He's funny and offers easy extra credit
Mr. Blackman teaching style is fare he dussues on the assignment in class and ask for feedback from the students.
He is big on attendance and being on time, offers extra credit, quizzes are easy but grades hard on exams.
Good professor, Just attend class and do work on time to receive a Good grade.
Professor Blackman is a great professor. He has rules and expects those to be followed. Attend class and take notes, you'll be fine. Do the quizzes; those are your only grades, plus the exams. READ THE READINGS you won't pass if you don't read and take notes
Prof. Blackman was a pretty good professor. He was pretty strict when it came to his directions and what he expected from us. His lectures were pretty interesting he was always prepared. Be ready to be called on if he asks the whole class to answer a question by a raise of hands. He's very blunt and upfront; you'll learn this in the first class.
I only took on of his classes so I can only speak on that class. When it comes to HIST 350, he definitely knows his stuff. I'm almost certain you'll walk away having learned something valuable from his class. One piece of advice: be on time. Not even a minute late he's very strict about punctuality
Dr. Blackman is really strict about attendance. He's don't really offer to much extra credit, and his grading can be tough, but it's fair. If you keep up with the readings, pay attention in class and take notes, and actually do the assignments, you'll be fine.

Lectures are well thought out. Taking notes is essential in this class or you will probably fail.
Dr Blackman is super big on attendance to the point that he makes you sit in the front row in the auditorium, he offers minimal extra credit, and he grades pretty tough but fair. Honestly if you read the books, take notes, and do the assignments you'll pass. And he's pretty funny.
Easy Class Just show up and look engaged !
He's funny and is able to keep the class engaged even at 9 in the morning. Show up for attendance, read the materials at home, and do the quizzes then you're all set.
This is not for folks who dislike getting up in the morning; he will be giving fantastic lectures every week; all you have to do is take notes, complete the assignments, and arrive to class on time.
Very caring about the post homework discussions, so as long as you read the material you will be fine.
Professor Blackman is one of the strictest instructors I've ever had, but also one of the most impactful. From day one, he set high expectations and enforced them with discipline—late assignments weren't tolerated, and participation was non-negotiable.
Great professor and strict but in a good way. Attendance matters, and please be on time! Homework is structured as mini quizzes, so make sure to read every text carefully and take notes. It is very important to also take notes in class to pass and to not be marked absent. He does not like seeing phones on site, and if seen, he will call you out.
Dr. Blackman is knowledgeable however, I'm not a fan of his quizzing methods (taking quizzes on text that have not been discussed). I did enjoy his lectures.
The professor demonstrates strong professional abilities, particularly in teaching and communication. Their teaching style is well organized and engaging, often incorporating real-life examples and interactive discussions that help students connect with the material.
The professor demonstrates strong professional abilities, particularly in teaching and communication. Their teaching style is well-organized and engaging, often incorporating real-life examples and interactive discussions that help students connect with the material.
Prof. Blackman's class demands effort but delivers growth. Lectures electrify—even shy students engage. Rules: no phones, sit in front-row and take notes. Tough grader, feedback sharpens skills. Challenging? Yes. Rewarding? Absolutely. His passion makes complex ideas click. Emerged wiser, confident. Take it!
Attendance is mandatory to pass, and you must sit in the front row. Other than that, if you put a reasonable amount of effort into the work, you'll be fine
I enjoyed listening in class and learning. I will say he was very insightful with his lectures. I did registered for this class late so I wish it was more support with that aspect. Due to me registering late it was harder to catch up as well. Didn't appreciate the comment about my major being an activity.
He was a ok
Good professor, Have to take notes during his class. Make sure to participate as well
Mr.Blackmen overall was a good teacher. There is no help on improving your grade if you have a rough start.
Show up on time, complete all assignments and carefully read the instructions. PARTICIPATE in the lectures, its how you will gain a better understanding of the material.
He is very easy going just show up for class and sit in the front
The professor is really strict about his work and guidelines and doesn't play games when it comes to attendance or missing assignments. Don't miss class and take notes.
