Dhammika was super helpful. If your willing to do the work and are doing it he will help you pass. however if you don't care he doesn't care!

Dhammika is fairly easy if you do the work. If you do the homework and understand it you will pass this class. If you do not understand, go to Professor Nanayakkara he is more then willing to work with you until you do. Terrific teacher

He teaches math and computer classes. He is very helpful and friendly. The computer class was easy. You could do the work at home or at lap and just show up on Test!! JUST MAKE SURE YOU DO THE HMWRK IT COUNTS FOR A LARGE % OF YOUR GRADE!!

I enjoyed his class very much. He will stay after class if you want a small time of one to one. He is cool and will give you exmaples of problems that will be on all exams and finals. If you do the homework, ask questions on the problems you don't understand, and practice the pretest problems. You will pass.... he is funny too.

I took him during the summer and was very fair about letting us use a formula sheet and explaining the matterial well. He would let us go a little early since the class was scheduled for four hours twice a week. Good teacher.

Prof. Nanayakkara is very helpful. He is very willing to assist any student outside of class...just make arrangements to drop by his office. You will do well as long as you complete the homework assignments. Expect to put forth some effort...an A is achievable.

Mr. D is a really good teacher it is true that he cares about his students. He tries to do a lot of problems on the board to make sure you learn the problems. One of the nicest things he ever said to the class was we can stay here all day reviewing homework if ya want! :D he was joking but still the point is this professor wants you to learn!!!! D

I am one of the worst students in math but this instructor made it extremely easy. He goes at a steady pace and answers your emails by the next day. You will do great if you take his class. Of course it does require hard work but he makes it simple for you to understand. I hope I have him in all my math classes

Uses Aleks Online for 0300/0301 which in my opinion is a godsend! IF you are able to learn on your own, you really only need to go to class for tests, quizes and finals. If you need more help than that, (and you shouldn't, Aleks is very easy to use) he is there to help before, during and after class!! Great course!

Math is my least favorite subject in the world, but he really made College Algebra easier than I had originally anticipated. If we didn't get something right away, he would repeat himself using another method of explanation. Very patient and constantly asks if we have questions. Grades according to attentiveness and homework completion. STUDY WELL!

D.N is an awesome professor! makes jokes, always helpful with homework during class, replaces lowest test overall grade with highest test grade or Final, Available in his office hours for the ultimate help, and also cares to give you a review that is VERY similar to the test. Best Math professor at SAC! I despise Math, but Mr. Nana helped me understand it clearly. I love the math programs he uses, its like taking a tutor home. The programs give you practice problems to help you better your math skills. He goes through all reviews and yes they're very similar to tests. So do them! Also do your homework assignments.

I have take prof. N for three different math courses. He takes the time to make sure everyone understands the material. He is patient and nice. I got an A in all three class that I have taken with him. Make sure you do the homework and the practice tests and you will do fine.

First off this professor is really patient! He is fast paced, but if someone has a question he won't hesitate to answer and go back several times until they understand it. I took this class online, 4 exams and a few quizzes. He gives you enough time to complete all assignments. Never really spoke to the professor, hence it was an online course. Wouldn't recommend someone who doesn't enjoy math or isn't good at math to take an online math course. I learned on my own by reading the book.

Im terrible at math. He was a great teacher. Was helpful. went a little fast but would be there to help if asked. Lots of hw but do it! you'll not only pass the class but the test will be easier! Traditional writing on chalkboard teaching style. Will work as many problems on the board with you as a class until everyone understands. Is available outside of class to help. My only advice, stay caught up with the homework and try not to miss class. I fell a bit behind and passed with a D. Despite that, very good professor.

Took Cal 1 for an 8 week summer class. For calculus you MUST have a good teacher to be able to learn the concepts properly. Although this was a fast paced class, he was excellent at teaching and gave several examples, always stopped to answer questions and was available for tutoring. It was fast paced for a summer class, so be prepared to practice

Very easy course!! He is very helpful and will stop if you need help at anytime! H does have a good amount of homework but you can do it as many times as it takes to get a 100! I really enjoyed this class and he made math stress free!!!

This is the best math professor I have ever taken. He is extremely helpful in anything needed. His lectures are thorough and detailed. He will stop if students have any questions. If he sees students trying and doing assignments, he will offer extra credit. Book is not needed as the tuition pays for an online version. Will take him again!!!!

Took MATH 1314 & 1442 with Prof. Nanyakkara. He's pretty awesome, always willing to help and lets you study at your own pace. All assignments are completed on MyMathLab (1314) / ConnectMath (1442), except for final exam. Was able to bring in a cheat sheet for the final exam, which definitely helps. Math was my weaker subject but still got A's.

Took Stats online and it was great. There was some tough things at time but, not bad. He assigns a lot of homework and quizzes but the good part is that he makes them all due at the end of the semester. You can either wait till the last day to do stuff and fail or get them all done early and not worry about anything. He drops some assignments.

For MATH 0310. This Prof. will give you everything that you need (and more) to pass, but you will L/earn your grade. Lectures are very fast paced, but very supplemental to the book (which tests are based on); however, you may interrupt to ask questions and he is kind and will go the distance to help you. He responds to email very quickly.

A solid math class - Pre Calc - a compliment to the engineering student which he politely assumes you are. Willing to provide the elementary methods which he sometimes assumes but takes the time to explain. ASK questions with problem ready so he can put it on the board and he will not degrade.

I am horrible at math but this professor had a lot of helpful shortcuts and was willing to go over problems until they were completely understood. As long as you do all the homework and pre-tests you should pass this class.

I took a 5 week flex class. 0310. great teacher very helpful. gives great reviews for every exam. extra credit is available. i would definitely recommend taking this professor.

So, Mr. Nanayakkara follows the text pretty closely, but offers some insights and math shortcuts to those paying attention. It could have been an A for me had I stayed on top of the homework and not let it pile up. He readily answers q's and is approachable. Do all of the homework and stay a lesson ahead if you can. He will value it if you show.

I took online math 0310 everything the first day was available through connect math, everything had a due date at the end of the semester. DO NOT WAIT TILL THE END. There review for the final is an exact example of what will be on final, which was taken in school. do 2-3 assigments a week and you will do well. Do wait, c was my fault.

I took him for a Maymester. Of course it was going to be a workload, but it was pretty simple. HW and Test weren't too hard. He gives you shortcuts to problems, and easy grading criteria. I would definitely take him again if I could.

Math has been the hardest subject for me until I took Professor Nanayakkara. I had to retake the TSI four times until I passed it but in his class I got a high A. He explains all problems with details and he is very helpful in answering questions. I Strongly recommend this professor if math is not your strong subject!

I signed up for his class after being out of college for about 10 years - I figured I should get Algebra over with and I'm so grateful that I chose this professor (math is not my strong area). He was entertaining in class and even with his accent, he was easy to understand). I was able to get through this class with an A, which was amazing to me!

All assignments are on ConnectMath and due at the end of the semester so don't wait till the last minute. Attendance is not mandatory. Zoom class is only if you have any questions and he goes over all over the unites. All assignments, quizzes, tests, and final are online and you take it on your time just watch out for the due date. I took this course online during the winter mini-mester. I'm not good at math but got an A+. The course was completed entirely on connectmath. You work at your own pace so don't get behind. All assignments, quizzes, and exams are available at the beginning of the course, so start knocking it out and you can be done sooner! Easy A! Highly recommend.

AWESOME ONLINE CLASS AND PROF ONLINE. You will have an easy time getting through this class, even if you suck at math. Be careful if you procrastinate however because you will fall behind on assignments if you aren't careful with time. it's a lot of HW, with 3 tests and a Final. He sets up the course on Connect math well, but you must stay on track

All the homework is done on MyMathLab. The test reviews are the exact same as the test and the tests are take home. The final exam is in class but open note and calculator allowed. During lectures, he does the problems on the board for you to copy in notes. The content isn't easy, but the way he runs his class makes it easy to pass.

Professor Nanayakkara was awesome! Clear understanding and explanation of the concepts, will go over any questions and even go over the homework in class. Super lenient on homework assignments and makes it EXTREMELY difficult to fail his class. Do all the work and participate and you'll pass.

He is very chill and caring, he'll typically get on you if he notices you are falling behind and is willing to help do 1 on 1 teaching on your module. His assignments are YOUR PROBLEM YOUR RESPONSIBILITY his the work he gives out are easy to manage and are due on Sundays but if you finish them in a timely manner (you can do it within 1 or 2 days)
