I've taken Diana for Business Language Skills, Business Writing, and Excel. She is fun, interesting, and makes the boring parts bearable. I've learned a lot from her and recommend her. She cares about her students.

Pick Diana if you want to learn math and you're willing to work. She's patient and explains things well. Skip her if you aren't going to study. You won't do well. There are some whiners in the class complaining now but they don't put in the work outside of class.

Dr. Baran is one of the best teachers! I have her online class now and it is very straight-forward and easy to follow. At the end of the semester, she drops your 2 lowest homeworks, lowest quiz, lowest exam, & you only have to do 3 out of 8 DBs. The math is easy to understand. And you're allowed to work ahead. Wish all classes were like this.

This lady is just plain NICE. She gives a lot of take home quizzes that are just like the problems we do in class. She does a TON of problems in class. The tests are just like the problems on the quizzes. She makes sure everyone knows how to do every problem. She asks over and over if we get it and stops when we don't. NICE lady.

You don't think you need this class at first but when you start learning all the lessons you realize how wrong you've been all along. Love this teacher because she cares. She made me a much smarter writer. commas, semicolons, numbers, pronouns.... no problem...

If it's possible to be too nice, she is. She shouldn't give the slackers so much leeway. They got her to give a redo on the lowest test, make the test multiple guess, and go over every problem in the book. She needs to toughen up.

Kinda easy A if you go to class. 10 quizzes, 4 tests, directly out of the book. She stops to make sure everyone gets it. She doesn't hand out As but she kind of lays it on a platter in front of you for you to grab.

I like that she only lectures one of two days each week. The second day we get to do the work with her there to help. I learn by doing, not by watching someone else do it. So I like that she shows us how one day and I do it the next day.

All I can say is excellent. She presents material so its easy to understand. No curve balls on exams, gives solved solutions to all HW problems twice in class. Her online class was easy. Even if you don't read you could still get a good grade, you would just need to hit the teach me button. You just go online and do your weekly homework and quiz. There are very few tests. Grading criteria was clear and straight forward. I'd take it again.

Winter 2019. She's a very caring professor. Gives you plenty of time to work on the assignments. If you were to forget about one she'd let you turn it in before the test for full credit. Prof. Baran was excellent. We used MyMathLab & she had the entire semester posted up prior to the beginning of the semester. That was fantastic because I was able to finish the entire semester (including the final) before the semester even commenced. Clear cut on instructions and grading! Finally --a math class I can apply to my life and a teacher that can explain it. Business math showed me how to use my math skills in my office. Class was 100% online but the teacher was available every time I wanted to meet (twice). Her lectures are helpful, and I worked ahead of schedule and finished early. Such a refreshing class experience.

BMA-110 was a 100% online class. Students can begin class before the semester starts. Read the e-text and practice problems in the Study Plan. Most of the homework problems are on the quizzes and some from the Study Plan. Prepare for the final exam by reviewing all homework assignments and previous quizzes. Instructor responds to emails quickly.

I highly recommend this instructor. She is there for the student. IMO** She makes online learning very easy.

The teacher proactively provided video instruction to ensure understanding. I was very impressed by her replies when seeking additional help on any course work, because she took the time to create a video reply showing how to work sample problems and offering clear and easy to follow problem solving.

The teacher provided a more tangible and relatable perspective as to what the problems represent, so as to help apply logic to the problem-solving versus just trying to memorize random formulas. This I found to be beneficial for better understanding the math and following the problems.

Despite the virtual environment, she provides personalized feedback, offers solutions & additional guidance, and is quick to reply to all communications. I appreciate and respect her approach and her demeanor. This approach is key to success in a virtual environment, and I feel she wants to set her students up to succeed if they apply themselves.

The videos the instructor placed in Moodle helped as well as the textbook that she uses. Her instruction helped to get over the difficult assignments. Her assignments are thoughtfully designed to test understanding, and she's very clear about expectations. Her grading system is consistent and aligns well with the course material. She's also understanding and compassionate when it comes to personal circumstances allowing students to turn in work late before the last chance deadline.

I've taken 7 classes (5 BSC + BMA + BCA) with her. I have her quick responses to all my emails to thank for finishing my degree. She wants you to get an A, and she shows that through being there for you every time you need her.
