I would recommend taking this teacher for all HADM class; however she is strict on attendance. Her tests are straight from her ppt slides. I didn’t read the book for this course at all. She offers real world experience. Her test and projects are easy. Take any of her classes if you want an easy A or B. I feel she’s one of the best teachers at GSU.
GREATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT! She is NOT a kind of professor who stand up there and lecturing all the time. She gives students many chances to be engaged in the class. She brings in the real world. You will learn a lot from her. Field trips are excellent. Tests are VERY EASY if you pay attention in class. Project assignment is a chance to learn as well.
I took Mrs. Barber Spring Semester 2007. She is one of the best teachers at GSU. Her tests are straight from the book/ppt and she really makes the class interesting. She’s not one of those teachers who give busy work, she only gives necessary assignments. I strong recommend taking her for all hospitality classes if you want an A or B.
awesome teacher and person. tests all multiple choice. One presentation w/ partner. Very helpful and understanding. Not a big workload at all and interesting class. take her if possible
Interesting most of the time. Read the book, listen to guest speakers and you will do fine. Tests aren't bad and the 2 assignments are fun and nothing to stress about. I recommend!!!
Prof. Barber is an excellent instructor. She is very knowledgable about hospitality law, and her lectures are very interesting -- never boring. She also invites very interesting guest speakers into class. This class is an easy A if you show up for class, study for exams and make an effort on group project.
She is not always flex.
The subject is not hard at all. She is strict at times and is very big on attendance. She's called some students out in public and does not tolerate tardiness at all. Her tests are half completion, half multiple choice. The class can be fun and she has a great teaching style. There are group presentations/activites but they're not hard at all.
The best professor I've had at Ga State! She is strict when people talk during class and play on their laptops. She does not tolerate disrespect. She will go out of her way to try and help students with their careerpaths. She teaches students things that books will never be able to teach them. Trust me, take her...you won't find better.
excellent professor....if you ever have the chance, do take her. the2 1/2 hour class sessions flew by. can't recommend her high enough, TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!
She knows her industry. She is better than some professors in her department, but she doesn't have as many field trips as other professors.
take her for the 2 1/2 hour class sessions and you won't be disappointed. Can't recommend her high enough. THE Guest speakers she brings in are great. We got to meet the founder of the ritz carlton. Just read the chapter and pay attention to things she says in class and you will get a A.
Great Professor. He exams come straight from her lectures and the textbook. Textbook is a easy read, great guestspeakers she will even try to help you with alot of the stuff
Tests are NOT hard! She really knows the hospitality industry and is every outgoing. Relates well to class! Take her!
what more can i sayy, she is one of the smartest and humbled people i have been around...u are doing yourself a great injustice (spellcheck lol) if u havent at least met her...love her...and the class is easy, u have to be dead not to get a b+ or better but u learn a lot
Very power-hungry teacher, but nice though. Attendance is required but just do EXACTLY what she says and you should be fine.
Asks for A LOT for an INTRO class to Hospitality Admin. TOO MUCH!!Lot of pointless videos to watch & summarize HER way! I'm NOT a Hospitality major, just took this class as a RCB elective and I HATED it! Could've been enjoyable if treated as an INTRODUCTORY course!!
Dr. Barber was great for Intro. She knows her industry, with over 14 years in it before coming to GSU. Come to class, enjoy it, and follow her syllabus, study for exams, do the assignments, and you'll be fine. Overall, a GREAT professor!
One of the best Professors at GSU. She is very knowledgable in this subject, ad makes class interesting. Attendance is not mandatory but you will benefit for for coming to every class. Just pay attention, take notes and you should do fine
Take her! Summer classes were very interesting and passed by quickly. She invites guest speakers for different subjects and the lectures are interesting. There are 2 tests which are straight forward without any tricky questions. If you take notes and read the book you'll have an easy A. There's also a group project: field trip and a paper.
Had her for summer semester online class. Hospitality is my minor and i'm very interested in the field; however, I did not really enjoy this class. Videos assignments are time consuming and frequent. She's nice enough as long as you agree with her. If you don't enjoy profs who are uptight about the small stuff, don't take her.
She is a fun and fair teacher. She uses guest speakers often. If you attend class and read through the slides, you should do just fine. She does not give a study guide.
Dr. Barber is a very nice woman and knowledgeable about the industry. That being said, she is not the best teacher. I left the class everyday feeling like I had wasted my time. This in part being to her stories that had nothing to do with the class. Easy class made hard by not covering any material in class & resulting overly detailed tests.
I enjoyed Dr Barbers class.
Online class. Very easy and interesting. Quizzes and exams are timed. (i.e. 5 mins for 5 questions or 50 mins for 50 questions). PPTs are helpful. Didn't read the book thorough, just skimmed and read PPTs. She's very helpful and responds quickly to emails. Good RCB Elective.
Definitely take her class. She is a knowledgeable woman and has a lot of experience, her resume is impressive. She keeps class interesting with guest speakers, but she is a little strict about showing up. Overall I thought she was very helpful, smart and sweet. A +
Such an amazing teacher! Really knows the industry and loves to share fun stories. You learn a lot, and it's all very interesting stuff!
Excellent professor.
Dr. Barber is very helpful and understanding. She made me much more excited about hospitality.
TAKE HER CLASS! She is one of the best professors I have ever had. Lectures are entertaining and so are guest speakers. 3 test, all online, all come from her lectures and are incredibly easy if you pay attention in class. I would take any class of hers again in a heart beat, easy A but you still learn a lot.
Dr. Barber is pretty cool. Lots of guest speakers, 2 group projects. Tests are online.
LOVE HER!!! She is the best I have taken her twice for HOS Law and perspectives. Very knowledgeable and wants to help you succeed. Pay attention in class (which is easy to do bc she's awesome!), and you will get an A. also her tests are online, regardless if the class is online.
Prof. Barber was great. Its an easy A if you read. Just make sure you meet the deadlines. Usually 2 quizzes a week. 5 questions and you have 5 minutes. Quizzes are due by that Friday at 10 pm, which is a little odd. Other than that it was a great class. I
She's a tough grader when It comes to papers. If you can avoid taking her, avoid her at all costs. It's not hard to get an A or B in her class, but it's her demeanor that ruins it for the class. And the fact that she is uptight about everything it makes the course a "living hell".
Took this as a maymester with another maymester class and still made a B. Grades consist of 3 tests (which are manageable). The last exam is the easiest! And then 2 case studies where you work in groups. This class was online, but there is a first day meeting. This is where you meet your group and exchange info so it is helpful to go!
She's honestly a terrible teacher, did absolutely nothing except go on vacation for our class. Shes not a good teacher, and i can understand why GSU decided to part ways with her. overall an easy class, taught myself. Very bias grader.
Dr. Barber is great! She does take attendance and will call you out for coming in late. Deepite this, she is a wonderful professor. Her lectures and the guest lectures are very entertaining (great real world stories). As long as you pay attention and do your work, you should do fine in her class
The class itself was fine, she's passionate about what she is teaching and has very prominent guest speakers almost every other week. Tests were a piece of cake and attendance wasn't mandatory. She requires you to write to a hotel in order to get a tour of the place. She also REQUIRES 10 volunteer hours in something hospitality related.
Now at Kennesaw State. Multiple group assignments. Online exams, plenty of extra credit. Teaches course as it was design, a lot of guest speakers.
Choose your group wisely; you have to work on 3 projects together. If you don't make an A you probably had a bad group. She said the book was necessary (because she wrote a chapter of it) but we barely used it. The tests are easy (online, at home) and she offers a lot of extra credit. She's a little dramatic about attendance, but overall, not bad.
Took an online course with her (HADM 3750) and she's honestly one of the best online professors at GSU. VERY responsive and and knowledgable. There is a quiz every week and a group paper (very feasible) but we are adults so this should not be hard to handle. You def need the textbook to pass the course. I would take her again.
Easy class. Two exams 12 quizzes(she drops the lowest two) 5 assignments and a easy group paper. You have to read the book to pass. She is not a harsh grader as long as you put in an effort you can make an A.
Really annoying and in your face Professor. Does more than whats needed for a simple class. 4 quizzes every few chapters, no final. 12 excel exercises every week through the semester. A lot of group activity.
Be prepared to study the book on your own. She talks about practical uses of the material in class. She also helps push you. She's very kind and understanding. Make sure you study the book because the quizzes are very specific. But, they wouldn't make or break you. I got a C average on the quizzes and got an A in the class. Get your work done early
She was a great professor. Her quizzes were very specific so you have to pay close attention to lectures and read the textbook!
Horribly inconsistent, doesn't tale late grades, rude to students
NEVER take this professor's class. WORST professor I've ever had by FAR. There are weekly quizzes that are all based on completely subjective facts that can only be known if you memorized the textbook. EX: tested on made-up statistics, or responses of fake people in a fake example from the textbook. Gives tons of busy work and is a tedious grader.
90% of the class was online and required at least an hour and a half of outside work. Syllabus was very clear and it was easy to get ahead. Prof lectured and got sidetracked a lot. About 20 minutes of class was spent on discussing the tardiness and late assignment submission requests. I arrived on time and did my assignments so it was irritating.
Don't take the class. She does not "teach" anything. You teach yourself solely through the textbook if you can even find what you're looking for. Don't purchase the textbook, the entire PDF is online. Each week she'll go over pointless topics in her mandatory lectures. She doesn't review the textbook material properly and talks about useless topic.
I did most of my work weeks in advance, and she made it easier when making the quizzes 10 questions 2 attempts. The quiz questions were sometimes a bit too specific but I always came out with an A. The only thing I hate about this class is the mandatory lectures. Its a complete waste of time, and they should off 100% online version of this class.
Super easy as long as you do all the required work, but it's not a lot and it's not hard. Solid class.
Easy A+ class. Attendance is mandatory so make sure you show up, but the lectures are absolutely pointless. Everything is done online and you can easily get ahead of schedule. She will single you out for arriving early or trying to leave the lecture before she "dismisses" the class.
this class was pretty easy but i wouldnt recommend the professor if youre actually trying to learn. she makes attendance mandatory even though the lectures are completely off topic and pointless. she also calls out anyone for coming in late or leaving early. you learn everything on your own through a textbook which all the quizzes are based on.
COVID review: Her class is crazy easy. No exams. Everything on the quizzes is in the textbook (there's a free pdf online!) so read the chapter. The class is huge, so don't expect much feedback/interaction, but she's nice & replies quickly. Your biggest problem will be tracking down your group members for the project
Professor Barber makes things complicated by not even stating instructions. You have to do it yourself and she makes everything harder than it actually is.
Literally one of the easiest professors for BUSA. During covid, everything was online, there's no tests, majority of the class grade is from easy lockdown quizzes that you can use notes or a separate laptop on, and excel sheets. The only eh kinda thing is the group project at the end, super easy, you just have to reach out to partners. 9/10
This class was very easy. She always gave feedback after every assignment. Definitely helped me with work and everyday things. You do have 1 weekly quiz with lockdown browser+camera but you can use notes and there is group project at the end.
Dr. Barber was a great teacher. She made sure to give great guidelines and help us as much as she can. There is no final or midterm, just weekly assignments which are pretty straight forward. Just make sure to do light reading and you will do great!
She is a really great online teacher. She has lectures once or twice a week, but they are not mandatory because she does PowerPoint video lectures too. She really cares about her job and her students and wants us to succeed!
Prof. Barber was a decent teacher. Her work isn't very hard, but more so tedious. You have to be consistent because you have weekly quizzes and excels. She clearly states everything though, so once you get in the zone you'll be fine. You do have a group project at the end, and I was lucky enough to have good teammates who got it done. Overall, good
Optional zoom class every week. Easy class if you keep up on the weekly reading, excel, and quiz. The hardest part was finding your group members for the group project. Responds quickly to emails and gives plenty of time to complete assignments. No exams or final.
Prof. Barber really enjoys what she does and is very experienced. Great, great teacher would love to take her class again
Lockdown needed. Weekly assignments, excels and quizzes. The group project is very simple if you're lucky to be PLACED in a good group. Assignments are the basic resume, cover letter, etc. Excels have step-by-step, so it's not hard to do it. Quizzes are the problem since there's a lot of slides to remember by heart. Other than that, easy class.
She seems like a nice person and the class was pretty easy. The only problem was the quizzes because it was too much reading and you only have one attempt. She gives lots of extra credit options so that was great. Make sure you always turn in assignments on time and you will for sure end with a good grade.
The class looks like a lot a first glance, but its not. 2-3 homework assignments and chapter quiz due weekly. Group project is fairly simple. Lectures arent mandatory but they help out with extra information. Quizzes come mostly from chapter videos
Professor Barber is great! Very understanding with COVID, always makes herself available and her TAs. Helps you learn the business world well overall and pushes you to do your best. Everything you are tested on is in her lectures or the textbook so you won't be tested on anything you don't know. You won't regret taking her class!
Dr. Barber's class was great. There is a lot of reading for the chapter quizzes but its not that bad. I got no less than a B on quizzes, not really hard just tedious. Alot of other assignments due weekly which can be alot if you dnt stay up on it. Group project was easy. I got a B in the class due to my laziness but overall, take the class!!
I hated this class bc she didn't bump me to an A (I needed 1 point, she uses a point system, not %). She assigned weekly readings and the excel assignments weren't even her videos. Her weekly videos were short and unhelpful. Why am I aiding in paying her salary if she isn't even going to teach herself? Mutual respect is lacking, that's not okay.
pretty nice professor. she gave ample time for projects and was generally pretty clear about expectations. if you were ever confused you could pop over an email and as long as its during a reasonable hour she would give a fast response. 10/10 nice lady, very understanding
If you have ever gotten a job or done anything in the world as an adult this class is useless. She treats you as a child. Zero credit if something is turned in 1min late, assignments and material are in 50 different places making it very confusing. Material is over nonsense that is never used in the actual business world.
She really cares for her students and is extremely nice overall. You can tell she cares about wanting her students to do well in life and wants to be a part of it. There's not tests in this class, only weekly quizzes and excel exercises but the quizzes has two attempts. Online lectures aren't mandatory but you get extra credit for it.
TA's grade your work. If you communicate with them well, you do a great job in the class. She's clean cut, I can appreciate that. Assignments are due once a week and its valuable information.
I really enjoyed Dr. Barber's class. She made the class very straightforward and none of the assignments were too difficult. A lot of excel, but you follow videos that have very clear instructions. She gave a lot of extra credit and made lectures fun. Would definitely recommend her for this class as she really wants everyone to get a good grade.
Her class is very easy, but it's a lot of work. Start the assignment for the week as soon as you can bc there's a lot of weekly assignments. Attendance isn't required, but she gives extra credit occasionally for attendance. I don't think the textbook is necessary, you can honestly get by without it. Just watch her lecture videos before the quizzes.
AVOID if possible Loves hearing herself talk. Terrible professor. Quizzes never make sense, cannot review. Assignments are all using AI websites that are really bad. Class is a total waste and she just makes it hard. Why? IDK, I guess justify it? The class is like an 8th-grade life skills class, but she acts as if it's rocket science.
Dr. Barber is professional and reasonably understanding but gets annoyed when people are late. Quizzes are easy if you read (I copy/paste chapters in text to speech to make it easier), but you can pass them without reading usually. Assignments are impossible to mess up. Easiest A I've ever gotten.
She would assign work atleast 3 assignments a week excel sheets were the trickiest part to me. I never bought her textbooks in aced most of her weekly quizzes. I never went to class or bought her textbook and had a 95 and then she drops my grade 8 pts bc i didnt go to class like bro i clearly didnt need your help or your text book?
Great class. One of the few classes where I actually learned about the real world. Coursework and quizzes are super easy if you put the work in. If you fail this class, you're a mental midget.
Very easy online class. Took it for summer and only saw the professor's face once. The quizzes are the hardest thing in the class and even they are easy, just skim the textbook and make sure to watch the lecture videos (they're like 15 min) because some questions are directly from it. If you fail this class, just drop out while you can LMAO
Easy work for the most part, the few encounters I've had with her, she has an attitude/ condescending tone so she wasn't my favorite. Easy class overall.
Professor Barber is a great professor. This class was a hybrid class and was very easy. Her lectures consist of guest speakers and then you do all the work outside of class. Most of her assignments are graded based on completion except for her excel assignments and quizzes. One group project throughout the course. Easiest class I've taken at GSU.
Professor Barber is an amazing professor. You can tell that she loves this class and knows what she is doing. She always made sure to answer any questions or concerns and the work is very easy as long as you turn stuff in ON TIME! Very strict about that. Otherwise, attending her class was very beneficial and interesting.
The class in itself is easy, but there is a good bit of work due each week, so be prepared. But, Professor Barber maintains a high level of arrogance, a condescending tone when speaking, at times disrespectful, and has a lack of understanding of life events that no one is able to control. I would take the class again, but with a different professor
The class itself is easy, there's one big group project and the rest is just simple assignments with quizzes (lockdown). There is a textbook but the videos are enough to pass the quizzes. But the professor has a high level of arrogance, and a condescending tone when you communicate with her. Most of the big assignments are graded via AI and suck.
Professor Barber is the best professor I've had at GSU. She's very lenient and understanding. She responds to emails in a timely manner and is always willing to help. This was a great course and I highly recommend anyone who will be taking it to take it with her. I have learned and grown so much career wise (i.e. resumes, linkedin, interviews, etc.
This course was easy for me. I took the class hybrid and it was chill. Lectures every Tuesday...attendance isn't mandatory. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON'T BUY THE TEXTBOOK. For the quizzes, just read the powerpoint and watch the lecture video. The group project was easy and all quizzes are lockdown.
Dr.Barber is very passionate about teaching, but maybe goes about it in the wrong way. I took the class in a hybrid format so I only had to go to class once a week and everything else was online. You'd think that the lecture would be about the quiz for that week but it wasn't, which felt like a waste of class time.
lowkey too much work for such an easy class just busy work tbh
The professor's stubbornness, lack of responsiveness, and ineffective communication hindered the learning process and created unnecessary challenges for students, especially when it comes to group project. I would strongly advise others to approach this professor's courses with caution.
Are you a business major in any capacity? Get ready for this mandatory course where you will be expected to participate in convoluted group assignments, weekly 2 hour meetings starting at 7:15pm, and a rude, arrogant professor- look no further than Mrs. Barber!
There is such an immeasurable level of arrogance from this professor. 1. A student asked for an extension due to a family passing, and her response was, "did you not prioritize this class/" 2. Another student was late due to work, missing the quiz, and the professor asked "is your education not important to you?" The work is easy otherwise.
The class is okay but not only does the class drag on with fluff, but she's been unnecessarily rude to students in front the class. Someone came on late because she works all during the week and she proceeded to berate her and told her she needs to prioritize school more. Same with someone who had a death in the family. She's standoffish no reason
easy class, bad professor.
Very annoying
she's a professional yappologist but the class is pretty easy and straightforward
Pretentious and arrogant. Assignments and materials were all over the place
Easiest and most interesting class I've ever had. It's extremely hard to not get an A+. There are a lot of assignments and quizzes but they just take about an hour each week. Only class that actually teaches things that are used in real life (interviews, resume, clubs, etiquettes). Just do all the work, it's not that hard.
easy class but professor is pretty standoffish and the lectures are useless
I enjoyed her class alot and her assignments are pretty easy and she is very understanding. Im a hard rater but she was responsive and its an EASY A. Also she gives extra credit to add 20 points to your final grade
Overall GREAT professor just alot of work. I had 2 deaths in my family a month apart and caught covid all in 3 months. She was very understanding and allowed me to turn in late work whenever I was in the right mental. The negative reviews aren't really true. I say take her class and get the easy A
The course itself is easy however she elaborates a lot in her lectures so it's difficult to find the important information. She really gets hung up on any type of technology being out and will blame it on "our generation's" attention span. However, it's a 2 hour class with the same mono-tone voice and shrill speech pattern so. 5/10 overall.
Dr. Barber is a good professor who gives a manageable amount of work and is a somewhat lenient grader for the most part. Her lectures are long, and you have to stay the entire time to be able to take the quizzes but besides that she's a nice woman and passionate about her job.
I loved this professor!!! She was so awesome and gave amazing advice. Weekly guest speakers that were cool, easy HW and 5q quizzes. Excel assignments that taught me alot. Group PJ that was the easiest pj ever. Extra credit, accessable, and so funny. Sometimes strict, but just to keep students in line lol. Free textbook.
Dr. Barber is one of the best professors I've ever had. Not only is she a caring and respected person, she is also a great instructor. She wants you to succeed. I thoroughly enjoyed all of our coursework too as it is beneficial for the real world! Easy class. Just do your quizzes and your assignments! TAKE THIS CLASS!
GO TO CLASS! all quizzes are in person and you need the password to take it. One group project really easy, as long as everyone helps. Listen to her recorded lecture skim textbook. Brings in multiple guest speakers. Excel assignments are easy just follow the videos. TAKE professional photo early in the semester!
I am so happy I took her for BUSA 1105, I recommend taking her class! She gives amazing lectures, brings organizations, and guest speakers into the class! It allows you to see more of what GSU offers for your workforce and make connections in the business world! She releases helpful tips on how to be/sound professional. The workload is also fair.
Dr. Barber is a phenomenal professor for BUSA 1105. This class really helps you out in the business world. Although she is kinda strict on us sometimes, she really wants us to thrive in the business world. There are weekly quizzes at the end of class so attendance is mandatory cuz you need the password. Don't be late! Easy A. Just do the work!
Free textbook. All the lectures were basically just school organization presentations. Seems like a lot of work but isn't too bad if you stay on top of it each week. Background in hospitality so thats what she spends a lot of time talking about so it can get repetitive and boring if thats not what you're interested in, lots of wisdom despite that.
Lots of work but it's easy, you just have to do it. quizzes every week but they're easy. just do the work and you have an A!! Also very good visitor lectures.
There is a textbook (free) and in-class quizzes. She's super nice and will be open to helping you out if you're a good student. Hybrid class was lecture/presentation heavy but not agonizing. There is a group project but it's not bad and you can pick your partners.
Easy A, just lots of busy work. Free textbook & codes for quizzes are given at the end of class. Lectures were dragged out.
This class is very easy just weekly excel assignments and a weekly quiz. She only gives you 5 mins to complete the quizzes at the end of class. There's one extra credit assignment but it's worth a lot of points. There's a group project but it's nothing hard. Students orgs come in every week to talk. She also has a lot of good advice to give!
Great professor and easy class! Finished early for summer semester! There are a lot of work but if you try it you will do very good
I love her class. A lovely woman despite the lectures being just an introduction to the school's resources and what is a business. Easy A for anybody and while the lectures are not tedious the class will help you get an internship if you use them. If you don't know which major you want to be for business school this is the class is the place.
Great professor, definitely take her. No exams, just a lot of homework, quizzes, and videos. Easy A or above.
Easy class, easy prof.
Easy class. The course is super easy to navigate. Assignments are straightforward. Quizzes are very short but also timed (4-6 mins for 5 questions). The professor has pretty entertaining lectures and attendance is mandatory. There are extra credit opportunities. No exams, but there is a group project, which is fairly easy.
She is one of my top professors I will always remember at this school. She made the class really easy and very engaging during class time with her personal stories. She wants to see you succeed in the business world and reflects that with the resources she posts in class. Take her if you need an intro to the professional and business world!!
Easy class with a free textbook and weekly quizzes. Professor Barber is super helpful and brings in great guest speakers. Unstuck ai was a game-changer for quiz prep!
she was nice and understanding. gave great life advice. class was very easy just be on top of everything and you will be fine. easy class and i liked the professor.
The teacher Switched Rules for the class a lot during the semester and goes too fast when moving through slides that you need to scan for attendance points. Grading did not always seem fair but if you do everything exactly correctly it is okay and a good class.
The class was just busy work and the professor made it really annoying to complete the class. She changes rules often and the lectures are just promotions for events. I took this class because I needed it for other classes in the future, but this easily became one of the most annoying class I've ever taken. Overall just had a bad experience.
She clearly has little compassion for students who make a small slip up or are going through challenges. Lectures are useless and only contain reminders and advertising clubs. Mandatory attendance is one thing but enforcing that rule when your lectures don't consist of the course's material but of things that students did not sign up for is crazy.
Course is overall easy but the professor contradicts herself and is spiteful. Whenever she is corrected by a student, she'll accept it but have to throw in a petty comment. She will also change the rules around and act super high&mighty.
She was really nice and understanding, plus she gave great life advice. The class was super easy—as long as you stay on top of everything, you'll be fine. Definitely an easy class, and I liked her a lot as a professor!
SHE IS SO ANNOYING!!! Her voice, HER LONG LECTURES WITH HER ANNOYING VOICE (you have to go to every class because attendance is mandatory). She taught me a couple things but the most important thing she taught was to make sure I NEVER see her again. XD also the fact that she like had an attitude when I would have issues with certain things LIKE pls
She has to be the most annoying teacher at georgia state. Talks about how she treats her class like a real life job which makes no sense. Her class is a first year class and she does way too much. Will fail you on extra credit if you make on minor mistake. Always has smart comments and rambles on about nothing in her lecutres. She can EAD.
While yes she can have an attitude at times, this was by far the easiest class I have taken at GSU. Most of the assignments are useful if you are a business major. She gives extra cred as well. She can seem harsh but I don't think she intends for it to come off that way.
Pretty easy class, with lots of weekly assignments that are manageable. There are Excel assignments, weekly quizzes from the textbook (free) & lectures, and a few more assignments. There is also a group project, and she offers extra credit. If you put in the time and work, it's an easy A and a very helpful class for business majors.
