She makes learning fun, and gives lots of extra credit. Early childhood Education wasn't my major but after taking her class it is! The reflections are easy!!

Good professor who cares about her students. Homework carries more weight for final grade than tests. Test are multiple choice with one take home essay. On essay question and homework reflections if you show you put thought into them you will get perfect

Very nice teacher. Course work is simple but tedious. Enjoyed her class very much. Would recommend anyone to take her.

She is very insightful on the material and is very kind. Keep on top of her work and you'll do fine. Tests are the only problem since she doesn't inform you what will be on them, however, the tests have very little to do with determining your grade.

For the student who stated that she was unorganized and did not explain things, I sure hope you are not planning on becoming a teacher, because this me that perhaps you were unorganized. As for the reflections, they are very much a necessity.

Wonderful, very personal, and kind. She's in tune with her students and is down to earth. Lots of work for a sls class, but it helps you get to know yourself better. It helped me get a major straight, and now I'm using it to go to UF. Just do work, be open, have fun don't be absent, it's worth a lot

She's a very nice, sweet, and comprehensive teacher. We did 10 reflections essays on chapters, a group presentation, and 4 tests including final. I highly recommend her. Very helpful.

She is a great professor, very easy and very helpful. Always willing to give you a second chance and the classes don't put you to sleep (not including group presentations). I her recommend to everyone.

Super-nice, super-helpful! Genuine & warm-hearted. Will always give 2nd chances. Really in touch with students, understands partying & hangovers, even knows some slang! Just a great person. But, gives tons of assignments (pretty easy ones), & kinda mumbles them under her breath at end of class, u will easily miss some. Still, take her if u can!!

Wonderful lady. She's really nice and she cares for her students. Warning though, her tests and assignments are not very easy. The class seems easy, but she turns it all around on you with those tests. Don't just study the book, take notes on what she says! I can barely manage a B in her class because I just study the book.

She is a very nice lady, gives a LOT of work though. This is the second semester I have had her, be careful on the tests, she does a lot of detailed questions, and take careful notes. Not too hard to get a good grade if you just study and do all of the assignments.

Very Nice person but is a little distracted. Class doesnt stay on focus and TESTS are HARD!!! Doesnt get questions from just BOOK, but from lecture also. I got a B and worked my butt off for that.

She is SOOO nice, she gives reflections, and class presentation projects. Her tests were take home or online but pretty tough. I would reccomend her as a teacher, shes enthusiastic about her subject.

Mrs. Ciesko is a Fabulous Teacher. She is super easy, fun, and funny! Shes easy going, doesn't go crazy when you don't come to class, and will never yell at you. I definitely felt like I learned a lot as well. She ROCKS!

She's so nice and a great professor. Her expectations are clear from the beginning, so there's no guess work. She'll also answer any question you may have. Tests are through WebCT and are open book and there's one group presentation. Other than that, there are just little assignments here and there. I want to take a class with her again.

VERY EASY CLASS....EASY A

General psych, online course. Learned nothing but made an A. Tests are open book online, but they often do not go with the current chapters. Tests take a LOT of time-google the answers!!Other writing assignments are easy. If you want to really learn, take someone else, but course is good for an easy grade if you need an easy credit.

LOVE HER! i went in hating psych and now its my major. classes are always entertaining, and she is so nice. tests are online, one research project and a group presentation. not an easy A but great class.

Prof. Ciesko was a very nice and wonderful teacher. She always welcomed everyone with a smile and made her class very enjoyable. Most of her tests are on WebCt and she gives you 2-3 days to do them. She cancels class on the day of the test so that's good for procrastinators like myself:) All in all, great teacher,made the class fun. Do recommend:)

Follow directions on how she wants the assignments and you'll be good. Everything is on APA style. Class based on discussions and tests (online and open book, timed) Extra credit opportunity. Need to work for the grade you want. Answers quickly to e-mails. Turn work in on time and you'll be good. Got an A it was easy after I got used to class formt

I would recommend this class for sure. If you are interested in psychology, you will love this class. She used to work with the supercrazies in a prison so she has many interesting and crazy stories she will share with you. She knows a lot about the subject and is very understanding about assignments and things. Super sweet lady.

Absolutely great teacher! I reccomend her for general psychology. she teaches from power point but test are from book so make sure you buy and read the book. 1 presentation and 1 group presentation. Gives extra credit. Great class. I got an A.

This was a fun class. Even though I took it online, the discussions were alot of fun. The assignments were easy. She responds quickly. Highly recommend this professor!

Exams have trick questions and questions where the answers are NOT in the book. Took the online class, had to do 1 discussion a week, not too bad, very critical on work siting.

All and easy class, general psych. The one big thing she marks down is sourcing, must use AP format and is very strict with it.

Good professor. Instructions are clear but she expects a lot from students. Will sometimes change due dates if there is problem with technology.

Very sweet lady. I took her for General Psych Honors. Class was full of discussion, very interesting. Lots of videos. She doesn't teach much, tho, and you have to study on your own for the exams. Just read the chapter thoroughly and you'll pass. Lots of extra credit. Also she doesn't care if you're late. Very lenient. Would take again :)

Very helpful, grades quite easy. Questions are straight forward, just know the material and follow instructions. I recommend.

Fabulous professor! I would definitely recommend her. :) I took her for Developmental Pychology Honors, and I had a lot of fun in her class. As long as you do your work, study, and come to class prepared, you'll be on her good side. She's very strict on APA format, of course. But definitely recommended. :)

Took Development Psych Honors and Mrs. Ciesko is so nice and helpful. The work was super easy for me, but I've done a lot of psychology stuff; still, it's not a grueling class at all. Don't remember if there was even a textbook. I did an awesome presentation at the final class and got a 100%. Really nice lady!

She is awesome! Loved having her class, as long as you do your work and study your guaranteed an A! She will help you on anything you need. She is very laid back and knows her stuff. Also she gives lots of extra credit so if you don't do so well on the test, it'll make up for it.

She's a wonderful professor. She has the "mom-gene" so she's very helpful while staying professional. Although for her psychology classes, she requires a 45min presentation (solo presentation) so be prepared.

She's very helpful when you email her. She cares about you and your grades and what's happening outside of school. During this time of the Orlando shooting, she offered open hours at her office and ways of help within Valencia. She offers extra credit and has a everything straightforward on the syllabus. I would definitely take her again!

I took this class online and it was the easiest class I have ever taken.

I took her online psychology class. It was a condensed semester: a lot of work in a short period of time. When it comes to grading the discussions she is very fair. Clear in directions, however I am not the most skilled on APA Format (prep yourself). Only note i would give is online textbook doesn't highlight the test focus. Offers extra credit

Definitely take her. I took her for a flex course and the workload still was Not heavy. The material is interesting and yes you need to read but she doesn't ask for much. A test per every 2-3 chapters, like 2 hw assignments & only 2 discussions. She offers tons of EC opportunities. No way to fail.

She herself is actually pretty nice and knows what she teaches. It's the use of McGraw-Hill Connect that makes me so exhausted. The HW that comes with using this program is going to keep you on your toes. Reading the textbook means completing a TON of questions with it. You keep doing these same questions until you get them right.

Online flex class. Purchase the pass only as the textbook comes with it. you have to read and be able to understand the material. fair amount of assignments. very responsive. She is fair also. gives good feedback. I recommend her class

Well organized for a 6 week online Psychology course. A lot of reading, notes and study time. It's what I would expect for a fast paced, college level course. Read the chapters, take notes, do the homework and take the tests. It's an easy A if you take the time to try. She's easy to reach through e-mail and gives caring feedback when asked.

This course was an easy A, quizlet helps on tests, assignments are easy. Probably the hardest thing was a Powerpoint. There are assignments in which you have unlimited attempts. I read the textbook but I feel you could still achieve an A without reading. I took it online during the summer, due dates are clear. There was extra credit too.

This was such a easy class!I took the 6 week summer class. If you stay on top of everything you will be okay. Plus she gives extra credit. Basically you have no reason to fail this class. You don't really need to buy a physical textbook because you need the online course code which already provides one. I am going to take her to Developmental.

This is one of the best professors I have ever dealt with do everything your asked complete your homework read your chapters you will get an easy A she is very caring she will respond to your message without delay she grades immediately so that u know where you are she will assist you in every way she possibly can. She is the one of the most nicest Psychology Professors. She cares about her students and works with them. Gives extra credit, if you work and show effort then she will meet you halfway. Don't be afraid to ask for help and if need it she will help you. And the last project don;t be scared it is fun and it is what you want so do it amazingly. :) <3

This professor is great as an online class. this is my first term taking online classes and she replies so quick and all the hw and test are very easy. you do need to pay for an access code for the hw and tests but its very easy class.

Exams are super easy & there is one big project at the end of the semester but it is very simple!! I wish i could take her again.

If you are a bad test taking, If you do all the assignments you still get an A. I took the accelerated class and it's manageable.

Doctor Ciesko is such a sweet person. The class structure never changes: read the lectures/notes, do Pearson assignments, attend optional (extra-credit) psychology discussion, an exam every few chapters, repeat. She also does routine check-ins on her students if they are "underperforming"... she WANTS you to SUCCEED. Isn't that enough to keep her?

Loved this class and Professor. I took Educational Psychology! I can understand why some people did poorly in the class. It is a lot of reading and will be hard to read 30 pages of a chapter if you do not find it interesting. This is specifically for people who want to become teachers or work on field with development in children.

Diana is an angel. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students and she wants us to succeed. There is a lot of reading but if you're interested in Psychology it is a lot easier to get through it! Even if you don't finish all the reading, you can still get through the assignments by clicking the "read about it" button. Overall, I loved her!

Take her course, you will not regret!!! She is truly an amazing person and you can tell she enjoys what she does. Yes, there is a lot of reading but the homework is super easy. She makes jokes here and there, which also makes class fun and interactive. I actually signed up her new child psych course, which shows a lot. Take her!!

Professor Ciesko is a sweetheart. She offers extra credit assignments during the middle of the semester, assignments in general are quite lengthy. If you're attending in-person attendance is mandatory and graded. Professor Ciesko is a great and funny professor, shes also easy to have conversations with. I recommend her, if you can handle the truth!

Professor Ciesko was really an amazing professor. She was very caring and funny. Attendance is graded so I don't know if that makes it mandatory or not and her exams were all online. We did group work sometimes but it was always easy. We even watched a movie for one of the classes.

Prof Ciesko is a caring, funny teacher. The class has mandatory attendance, but the workload is manageable. unstuck study was super helpful for test prep - saved me time versus relying on the textbook alone.

Professor Ciesko is a great person and very easy grader. However, i wouldn't recommend taking her mixed mode class because it really feels like a waste of time, so you should take her fully in person or just online. Her assignments are really simple!

Professor Ciesko's class is very easy to pass. It's basically the same assignments every week. Mixed mode is not worth it since attendance is mandatory and we don't do much in class. I would recommend taking her online. Loved her as a professor!
