Fox knows her material and the class, especially in the beginning, is entertaining. She's very bad with names and laughs when she talks. Open-minded but tends to be a bit liberal. Her tests are not bad at all. Her study guides really help a lot.

hmmm whatever guys...i like her. Incredibly smart. Yes, talks a bit too fast! yes gives a bit too much work!! But makes class very very interesting. Cares about her students above all else. Respects other students' views although she may not agree.

I respect her a lot. she's extremely smart, and knows her stuff. she explains things very clearly, and her tests aren't too bad if you take good notes, and study her guides. i think she's a great person, i look forward to her class.

i didn't have this lady in class. but my advisor didn't show up for our appt to sign my schedule. diana fox was leaving and saw that i was upset. she took time to sign it and unlock me so i didn't have to wait another 4 days to schedule-super cool!

She is fair, plays no favorites and cares! I think this professional needs to know how much she is worth to us.

Anthropology of Women with Fox was hard but worth it. She's a tough grader but an awesome person. I'd recommend Anthro of Women only if you're ready to do a lot of work.

Take her if you are interested in anthropology. She is a fair grader and an excellent teacher, but you have to work hard to get a good grade.

i find she makes material harder than it needs be. she can be nice at times but she could pick better books to read.

Very nice, knows her stuff. I learned a ton from her Anthropology of Women class. Take her class if you haven't.

Peoples and Cultures of Africa. She is a great teacher. She makes it very interesting. She is also very knowledgable, and exposes you to visual, as well as auditorical learning.

i took honors and it was really hard...i was like what the hell did i do to myself but i studied hard for the couple quizzes we had and i worked hard on my paper, i ended up pulling off a b, u learn a lot but its the hardest class ive ever taken

I Loved Dr. Fox! I learned a lot of anthro theory and her discussions were great! Her readings were perfect for the subject and she very friendly and understanding if you're having problems. As long as you talk to her, she'll help you out. Great teacher!

She has great expectations., but is not unreasonable. she takes the fact that the student is paying to be taught seriously, and doesnt take her responsibility lightly. she helped me a great deal. amazing woman.

Very knowledgeable, but holds high expectations. Never finishes everything she sets out to do in class. Very helpful and fair grader. Has many interesting experiences from her own research, which she incorporates into class. Good for anthro. majors! Really cares and pays attention to students!

She is an amazingly intelligent person who has a lot to offer anyone who wishes to open up their eyes to the world. It is a hard class, so if you dont like to work hard at understanding complex concepts...than good luck...if you do your work and participate...you should be fine. Just ask for help.

Awesome is the only word to describe this professor. She is an extemely intelligent professor and it is a joy to attend her class! I learned so much about African Peoples and cultures.

Loved this class! So much interesting, important, and relevant information. She was very thorough and sincere. Tests and papers were reasonable-- challenging but fair and relevant.

This class is not meant to be easy-it's college! A lot of homework-she expects students to do work obviously.Expects continuous participation. Don't take if you're lazy- take only if you seriously want to learn.Is a little scatter-brained-but it's actually funny.Good person.

You must love anthropology and be an anthropology major to take her classes. She is by far the most helpful professor I have ever had and will take a lot of time with you if you ask her for it. She is very smart and knowledgable, but do not take her classes if you want an easy A.

Great professor, very knowledgable.wants a lot of class participation, extensive reading and writing assignments weekly,well versed outside her own specialty, hard exams but definitely fair if you prepared, pleasant and funny. I'm a teacher and I would definitely take another class with her.

Not a class for the weak-willed or the uninterested in Anthropology. Taken several classes under Fox - She is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about her subjects to the point of being able to discuss them at length, but do not enter her classes expecting to coast by. Especially not Theory.

Good Professor. She loves her subject matter. But she loves to jump around a bit in class. Over all if you study and read for class you will do fine. She is a Safe professor to take.

I thought it was a super easy class. Although it was incredibly boring, it was an easy A and she cancelled class alot. You will need the books, but doing the reading isn't necessary. You only the books to skim for answers to the final and midterm, of which she gives you the questions in advance, and those are the only two grades youre graded on.

She's a wonderful professor. Funny, sweet, eccentric, but most of all KNOWS HER STUFF! A little scatterbrained, but lenient with deadlines. Helpful comments. The workload of this class totally intimidated me; it requires a lot of effort, but serious anthro students will enjoy the topic and the challenge.

Very knowledgabe and passionate about her subject. Gives alot of extra credit. Sometimes rables and gets a little hard to follw, but overall good teacher and interesting subject.

My favorite professor at BSU. Incredible woman and learned so so much in her class. I still talk about her anthro of womens class and i took it 3 semesters ago. I urge to take. Very VERY informative. Love anthropology, love her.

She is a great teacher. She knows her material, she is enthusiastic about the subject and got out her way to make sure you understand the class. 1 paper, 2 exams. Attendance is important. Read the books or take great notes in class and you will be fine. I barely read all the books and only bought 1 of them but got an A

I enjoyed Prof. Fox's class very much. You MUST show up to class. There is a lot of reading to do. However, take Anthropology of Women with her and you will enjoy it! Overall: Semi-tough teacher but she is reasonable!

I respect Dr. Fox more than any other teacher I've ever had. Never have I been challenged so productively, been treated as a professional in the making, or felt LISTENED to or respected by a teacher. She delivers the information in so many different ways, and is a master at getting students to think critically. I look up to her as a professional.

Dr. Fox is very passionate about Anthropology. Her style of teaching keeps everyone interested in the subject. As with any course, do the assigned readings and coursework and she will work with you. Communication is key; she is very approachable so if you have any questions at all, ask her.

I feel like fox is one of the only professors I had who seemed to care and reached out to help and wanted to see me pass. she talks about her work with passionate, and she is so helpful. and she cares, and she is funny. I loved taking her I would love to take her again. she is a good teacher, and she looks to hear stories from the students.

Dr. Fox does like to have a group project in order to prepare students real world experience. Very clear in what she expects from students. Warm and friendly, very approachable inside and outside of class. Really look forward to taking more classes with her!

I love Dr Fox! She's obviously not an easy A, but her classes are life changing and she is fantastic at making you see a different perspective. She doesn't hold back in criticism and is honest, and this is why I've learned the most in her classes. If you're not rude or an idiot, she will work with you and is very flexible.

Amazing professor! Took this class for one of my core classes and i made the right choice. She makes it interesting and easy to understand. One journal entry on a topic of your choice a week, take home midterm and write a story for your final. would take this professor again!

One of my favorite classes ever. You CANNOT BS your way through her classes. Lots of reading, with a ton of class discussions and opinions. Dr Fox is very good at linking class information to the "real world", and I will use the information I learned in the future. Extremely knowledgeable. Make a good impression, and she will help you a lot.

Fantastic teacher, shes passionate about what she knows and it shows through her lectures. Youll learn a lot if you pay attention. Gives awesome, honest feedback. Put effort into the work she gives, dont slack off and youll be fine. Would take her again in a heartbeat!

Dr Fox is passionate about her subject. She rates attendance and participation high and she explained that this is because of AI. She is experimenting with new ways of grading. I learned so much about women around the world and it opened my eyes to all the challenges women face. Dr Fox is accessible and supportive but you have to do your part.
