Nice and approachable

Horrible teacher. You basically do ridiculous journal entries throughout the entire semester. She also grades pretty strictly on the essays.

In ms. Francisco class, Basicly u need to do ur homework, pay attention in her class and do ur classwork and hw. Test is really east. It not hard. She hard on the essay only.. She is a really nice teacher, if u get to her know well.

She is a realli nice teacher..

She is a very good teacher, very helpful, and easy on test. Shes only mean to you if your late and dont follow her rules.

She's not bad, all you have to do is follow her rules, and pay attention. Take that class if u want to learn and work very hard if not then you fail her class. Just do whatever she asks for and never turn your work late, that might even fail you.

Very meticulous in work. But she is fun and easy to work with. She often times repeats things over and over again just in case everyone hasn't jot down the info.

She's great as Processor. She's understanding and funny at times. I'm glad to have her as my starter in English course. You can't go wrong with her or her class. Eventhough she might be strict at times, but she's strict in a good way. It's 4 your own good

really good teacher taught me a lot

She helped me out a lot. She seems hard but shes not.as long as you get your journals done you'll be fine.Just done miss any tests or due dates.Her quizes are really easy.The only thing is that she talks forever and doesn't give you a break in between.

To everybody out there who wants to take Eng 400 > don't take her class < If you want to suffer and work your ass out, take her, but personally i strongly don't recommand for those who have to work.

I definetely do'nt agree w/ the rest because @ the beggining I thought she was hard but in reality she is very easy. And to me English is boring but I absolutely agree that she is a great professor.I had her my first semester @ PCC and I learned a lot.Her work is easy just talk 2 her.I got a B.

she is understanding professor and easy for what i have gone to class the only thing is that she talks to much and she goes out of the subjet but its cool other wise.

A very good teacher I've learned more from her class than i ever had in an english class before....she's nice and really answers your questiojns when u need answers, and doesnt make you feel stupid at all when you ask questions.....if you want to know alot about english like grammer take her you'll never fail......

she is a excellent teacher because she challenges students and tells it like it is. She tells students what she thinks of them and is the best english at PCC. I have learned so many things i've forgetten and put into my work. Eventhough she is hard it is worth taking her class.

she's an incredibly kind person and is very passionate about the material she teaches. however ... she's very detailed and talks a bit too much about certain subjects. it drags on the time especially night classes after long hours at work. take her if you want a good time in literature, but if you need help with writing i'd look elsewhere

She does talk alot and the class is boring but I found the class easy and she does help you understand most of the things she covers through out the class. Pretty much just make sure you fallow the instructions and do the work.

She is good in grammar, but hard in essay and grade. I learned a lot from her how to write a good essay. If u want to take her class, just follow everything she wants us to do. U will be fine... Her quizzes are very easy. Believe me..... :)

This class has a lot of work to do. If you consider to take Fransico, you need very diligent attitude, she allowed free writing, journal, writing practice and in-class writing and a super important research paper. She is picky on the citation and organization problem. Overall, excellent!

Essay is a little hard in her class

she was very helpful explaining grammar and good structure for writing great essays, she is very strict ,especially with class materials , if you dont take all your materials she'll take points off.she is fair , but not an easy class.oh and dont be absent or you'll be drop from the class

Very serious about teaching, attendance and helping students excel in English. If you are a English major and needs refreshing she is the one to refresh skills. Excellent teacher and is serious about learning you will do well if you work hard and it will pay off. A lot of writing to prepare you for English 100.She is very straight forward.

Professor Francisco is an extremely strict instructor; However, if you follow her instructions from beginning till the end: buy all her materials, do your hwks , bring your text book to class, you will be fine. Even though professor Francisco treats her students like pre school kids, she does have a fair grading system. Take her!!! i learned =)

Very strict teacher. Does tend to treat her students like children, talks too much about her personal life. she requires you to purchase elementary school supplies. But overall she teaches the subject pretty good, you will learn the basics of essay writting in that class. i got an A

I didn't think I had the right prof with all these negative reviews, but it's her. Here's the thing, she also teaches Lit classes in addition to remedial English. And all these neg reviews are from her 400 class. Her Lit classes are her true passion and it shows, she's a very interesting and fun prof. Take 25A or something like it with her.

Very Precise.

Great teacher.Wasnt sure about her at first, she has a habit of rambling on about current affairs.It takes a while to get into the readings but once you do she is awesome.Always willing to stay after and talk about readings.Plus you watch a lot of funny movies in her class.

Her class is common sense like any other english class, if you actually listen to her and not wander off with your thoughts 'cause it is easy to fall asleep in her class. Everything in her class is a given. Just don't be ignorant about it. But I'm sure there are better professors that teach this class better, so I recommend another.

I didn't like her at first but she really grew on me. She's smart and so helpful. We watched a lot of videos and had a lot of in class discussion. Read the books and participate in class and you'll pass. We didn't even have a final in my class.

Prof. Francisco is a very BENEFICIAL teacher. At first glance, she may seem overly-opinionated and hard. But she grew on me and as long as you do everything she assigns on time (along with some critical thinking), you'll pass w/a better understanding in writing. I recommend her to anyone in need of Eng400! Don't be discouraged by the bad reviews!!!

She is a great teacher as long as you are patient, attend class on time (5 min early is ideal), pay attention and do all the work the way she wants you to. Like someone before me said, she's a beneficial professor.

All the bad reviews are most likely from people straight out of high school and cannot conform to COLLEGE LEVEL WORK. If you do your work and put your head in the game, you'll do fine. It's an easy A, and if you fail and somehow manage to get kicked out of class, it's YOUR OWN FAULT. You are lazy. Great teacher, I HIGHLY recommend her. You'll see.

DO NOT Take HER!!! All the work she assigns wants it spot on, even if a comma or any small detail is missing she will tell u to redo it. She is very strict.

Really easy class. Just do all the readings assigned and you are pretty much guaranteed an A. In class time is pretty boring, but there are plenty of days where you do nothing but watch videos. No midterm or final and the only thing due on the day of the final was a 3 page paper. Highly recommended.

Professor Francisco is truly one of the most amazing human beings I've ever encountered in my life. Follow ALL her rule and you are GUARANTEED to pass the class with a better understanding in essay writing. She truly is one of a kind, don't listen to the negatibe reviews, they were obviously just lazy, unmotivated students. SUPER easy class! A+

Professor Francisco is a strict teacher for the benefit of her students. She really cares for the success of all her students, that's why she's been teaching for so many years. For the slackers, when you leave her class, you will truly appreciate her. Don't be discourgaes by the FALSE negative reviews people!

All those comments about her being horrible and mean are fake. She really nice when you get to know her. The journal and quizzes are easy. She does grade hard on the final essay but if you pay attention and work hard you'll get an A

When I first encountered this teacher, I HATED her. I thought she was arrogant and rude and belittling. After sticking to her class, I learned some great life lessons, both from her and our readings. She is a great professor and I adore her. She picks on those who are rebellious. Just don't try to be - you won't gain anything from it. I tried

She's very arrogant! but LOVE her readings!! The books reflect the present society very well, and you have to listen to his talks - they are critical ideas and opinions.The videos are boring though. PS. she loves to give A+ and A++ which is very inspiring! Take her class if you are good at critical thinking.

She's tough, but lenient, & somewhat abrasive, yet makes you think. I took drama & comedic literature with her. Definitely would recommend since the ideas she tries to express and the thinking she encourages are paramount to critical thinking. Students who write well do well and those who don't will get better in her class. Take before Eng1B.

She is very helpful and her lectures are clear. She helps all her students, and she gives all her students opportunities to pass her class. LOVE HER! She is scary at first but then she warms up to people. She is very strict but works with you if she knows you are truly trying. Follow all instructions and don't argue with her. Always bring all your supplies and be on time. Her class work is not hard but does require you to think. I received an A :)

Don't let her first day fool you. Just be on time, bring all items to class, and be respectful.

I did more than just read plays in her Modern Drama class...I learned about life. Her in-class discussions and videos opened me up to a new level of critical thinking that I never knew existed. The only thing that annoyed me is that she would not give me testing accommodations. Oh well, at least I aced the class XD Take this class if write well

She isn't hard at all, she does expect a lot from you though and likes to pick on those that screw up in class. Be always on time, have all textbooks and supplies that she recommends with you at all times and NEVER be late or fall asleep in her class. Just keep up with your work and you'll be fine.

Don't be scared by this professor on the 1st day she's a wonderful person w/ a great passion for everything she teaches. You have to have an open mind to actually learn, understand and thrive in her class. An A is possible if you follow her guidelines and ask for help. It's that simple! Since her class I've gotten nothing but A's in my ENG courses!

i would always fall asleep in her class, break one simple little rule and she will give the whole class a HUGE LONG lecture about it, i am not exagerating, must be in class on time, must bring materials with you ALL THE TIME. Overall it was an easy class. one last thing, she talks to much which takes up the whole class sometimes

This professor oh boy where do we begin with you. She talks way to damn much. She'll lecture you about an hr, 15 minutes, if you're lucky 10 minutes. Don't take her for summer school lol just saying

She is a tough teacher, but if you follow her instructions this class is an easy A. I enjoyed her talks on politics, and she did help me improve and understand how to write. She gives awesome feedback don't be afraid to ask her for help because she does give you valuable information.

Professor Francisco expects a lot of work from her students but it is only because she believes that the students can do it. Students will learn a lot from her. She is supportive, kind and respectful and is very wise and knowledgeable. She knows what shes talking about whether it be about Omnivore's Dellema or life in general.

Professor Francisco is AMAZING!! Take her class. She gives out a lot of homework, but its totally worth it. She inspires you. She is strict, but she just wants you to do good through your college years. I still have her notes they are extremely helpful when i do other essays. If your a slacker ha! DONT TAKE HER you will fail her class.

If you're in her higher level English she will be super laidback. She takes attendance really serious so don't be late. Has a lot of political rants and goes off on tangents like half of the time. Very minimal work was given and she was very generous of her grading

Professor Francisco is funny and sweet! Debates during class were always entertaining. She really engages the whole class in politics and the stuff we read in plays. The essays are super easy, and she's a very fair grader. I've taken two Lit classes with her, and they were by far my favorite classes. Always had a good time.

If you're lazy don't take this professor. If you're ready for a challege just do what's required and if you're looking for argument with her you're going to lose lol. Looking back at taking her class in 2015 I actually liked how strict she was and I loved her class. She has this rule that students have to show up 5 minutes early not 1 minute late.
