Shes very rude. Dont ever take a class with this teacher. Shes not very helpful AT ALL.

omggggg wow i should have never listened to the nice comments about this rude professor bc i took her and i've never in my life hated a teacher more she was so unfair with grading for every student and lied about it i hope she gets fired shes horribleeee DONT TAKE HER!!!

Her incomprehensiveness and confusion was the cause of my C grade. With a more understandable teacher I would likely of gotten a A in the class. I would not reccomend this teacher to anyone. Ive never rated a teacher because they have all been fair and clear with me. I feel Prof. G was the complete opposite and you should be warned before taking

This professor is so rude and unorganized. I've taken 10 online courses and I have never had such a crazy unorganized course. She writes rude comments to students and acts as if everyone is stupid, plus the fact that she doesn't like peoples opInions when they don't match up with hers. Very unclear and all over the place. NEVER TAKE HER!

Due dates are incredibly unclear. Absolute worst teacher at Wayne State by far. Don't take this class if you don't plan on checking BB or Email 1000 times a day cause she doesn't mention any due dates in class and expects you to just know it. Again, worst teacher I've ever had.

Very unclear professor. Does not know what she is doing.She is very unengaged and it shows in her teaching. There were many instances where she lied about what she said and accused student of her wrong doings. Do not take a class from her. She is unfit for teaching.

Do not take this teacher she is very disorganized. You ask her a question she reply with a question. Do not post your grade in a timely matter. Spare yourself from confusing

She seems nice, but out of her element. When asked a question, he go-to is to ask what she wasn't clear about rather than answer what's already been asked. (Rendering her somewhat useless) Also, English is obviously not her first language, which is fine, but she gets on people about spelling and grammar when she's by far the worst offender.

I'm a graduating senior in anthropology and her class was my last. I was attentive and did all assignments very well in her class. Grading took forever and she only had 50% graded before the final test. She was cruel with her comments to you and she graded very specifically but her directions were not specific. She was rude with returning emails

She is a very rude and unclear professor. The directions are always vague, and she always feels the need to leave a rude comment on all submitted assignments. She treats her students like they are stupid when in reality she is unclear with what she expects from students. Do not take classes with her.

I took this class online and was dissatisfied. The directions were vague and poorly explained. Asking for help was pointless, she'd ignore you and instead post an announcement saying to basically not ask her anything. I received a B only because she refused to give me credit for an assignment due to a technical difficulty ON HER END! Unbelievable!

Extremely rude. For some reason she feels the need to react with a snide comment when you do one single thing wrong with one of her assignments. Does not respond to emails. Takes forever to grade assignments. Directions are unclear. Claims to be a doctor but can't even spell correctly. Best thing about this class is it's over in a few weeks.

I had her for an online business anthropology class. I can honestly say it was one of my worst experiences at WSU. She is extremely unclear in her writing and directions. Her assignments and exams are riddled with errors, making the questions difficult to decipher. Avoid her if you want to avoid a headache of a semester.

All poor comments previously posted are completely accurate. This was the worst class especially online classes I have taken. I do not mind working harder for my grade, but she was unclear and very rude. She has no grading criteria and seems like her grading is based on her mood for that day. Avoid this class-best advice I will ever give!

A dictator and micro-manager 'till the end. Could someone at Wayne State please explain to her the concept of an online class? She has this course project that is a huge chunk of your grade, and it improperly structured to fit in with an online course. The hardest elective I have ever taken. Save yourself the aggravation and just avoid her.

She continuously chops off points with no explanation and is a very tough grader. I do not feel like I learned anything while being in her class. The group projects were an absolute disaster.

Worst professor I have ever had at Wayne State. Extremely rude. Do not even bother emailing her about anything, she will just be rude to you. I turned an assignment in on time and she gave me a zero on it for being late. When I proved to her it was on time , she simply said "There is no point in grading it now"

Professor Gellci is the worst professor I've had. She frequently takes off points without explanation, assigns unclear assignments (the whole semester long project was a disaster), and is just all around rude. For one of the assignments, I received a 0 even though I spent hours working on it. I feel like 0's should be for no work. Listen to others!

Can someone remind me why I took her again after she gave me the worst online class experience the first time? Grades harshly, rude in responses to emails, and completely contradicts herself in many things. I'm close to graduating and her class was the only one that accommodated my schedule. Or else I would have stayed away 100%.

Holy moly. Please- stay away. (Unless you want unclear directions, forced group work, and a headache, then go ahead.) Teacher does not know how to teach an online class. Teaching skills are horrid, the material is easy but the way it is taught cannot be conveyed in a way where you earn 100% of the points.

I read the reviews before I took her class and thought I could make it out alive.. Turns out I was so wrong. Please, do me a favor, listen to these reviews and don't take this class with this teacher. Jeopardizes herself on many occasions, is a total flip-flopper, and does not give concise and clear information. Group project is measured heavy.

Worst class I've ever had, 2 semesters later and I still talk about how horrible it was. She marked me down on papers for not including elements that I very clearly included the sentence before, half of the "right" answers for the test questions clearly contradicted the assigned textbook, the end-of-semester project was a freaking mess.

Ive been at Wayne State University for 3 years now. This is the worst professor at this University. I got to know quite a few students in class and not a single one thought she was a decent professor.

This is definitely one of the most poorly organized online classes I have taken and after 5 years in college that's saying something. You need to have a ton of free time to babysit this class and decipher the maze that is her BB. Nothing is clear and easy to find. There is important information all of the place but you need to know where to look.

Dr. Gellci has a very disorganized group project with unclear directions and due dates. At the end of the semester when we could discuss what we did not like about project, she was very rude in her comments back. I am an Anthropology major and one of her comments to me was that I do not have a good Anthropological outlook. Avoid at all costs!!

There was a lot of work for an anthropology class. I would not recommend taking her, especially if it is online. If you email majority of the she replies negatively or she ay doesn't reply at all which is annoying as this is the only way to reach her. She is very irresponsible and doesn't like when ppl point it out

Seriously disappointed that this joke is employed by Wayne States outstanding Anthropology Department. Every other Anthropology has taught me so much and has made me more passionate about Anthro. Gellci herself seemed like she didnt know much about Anthro and is overall condescending & unorganized. This is the first Anthro class I have ever hated

Emailed her many times during the semester and responded after the assignment was due. Really bad communication and made this class harder than it was suppose to be.

The professor lacks organization as lecture will be cut due to time, discussion are more like arguments, direction is very loose in the class. Canvus is a mess in this class nothing will be in the right area or accessible. Also during presentations she will cut you off if it seems wrong a common pattern in her class.

Terrible professor. Entire class lacks any kind of direction, and the assignments are very difficult to understand. The tests have nothing at all to do with class discussions so if you don't know the book word for word you will struggle. Overall, don't take this professor, because you will have a terrible time.

Not good at all. The class is not organized well and the group project is a confusing mess. The tests are worded really badly, to a point where it is hard to understand the questions and answers. The professor is also unnecessarily rude and condescending when asked about the reasoning behind a grade. Seriously, don't take this class.

She is very inconsistent with grading and is always behind. Months into the semester she still had not graded most of my assignments. Class is not too difficult but she is not easy to talk to and will not have a conversation over email if you ask her to explain a grade you received. She gives extra credit but grades hard on it. boring lectures.

I literally had to argue with this professor to give me a grade on an assignment that I turned in. Easily the worst professor i've had in my academic career. If you have the option to take this course but with any other prof then take it with the other prof. The layout of the course is confusing and extremely work heavy for no reason.

Horrible professor. You will learn one concept the entire semester and are expected to talk about it at length every week even when there is nothing new to mention. Inconsistent grading with no justification as to why you got points off. Poor communication skills and very obvious bias when talking about ideas. Avoid at all costs

Awful lectures. Go to class with a charged phone and laptop or you will loose your mind. Posts everything on Canvas but attendance is mandatory for points. Very very very unclear on directions. She gets confused. Take this class online or dont take it at all.

Professor Gellci wanted to give my group a 0 on an assignment because the group mate responsible for turning in the assignments' dog died. She said we should've "figured it out." She also is floundering handling classes since they have moved online. She is not compassionate or understanding. Strict. Doesn't care about students success.

One of the rudest, least helpful professors. The class was held online in the least flexible way possible. The group project requires you to meet with your partners, and the tests are held in a really limited window. She makes all of the major assignments due on the weekends, while berating the class for emailing her on the weekends with questions.

Unprofessional and not clear with grading or course direction. Creates a very negative atmosphere for learning and does not like opposing views or thoughts. Lots of wasted time and energy.

This professor is by far one of the rudest, most unprofessional individual people I have ever come across. She makes it where you are afraid to ask questions & makes a horrible learning environment. The way that she speaks about your work is not about your word she attacks your competence & makes it very direct. I wish I could find something good.

Extremely unprofessional and unempathetic towards students with internet connection issues. Diana Gellci has mastered the art of speaking without providing any sort of valuable information or context. I learned absolutely nothing in this class and I thank Gellci for inspiring me to drop out of college to allow me to lead a more fulfilling life.

Quite possibly the worst class I've ever come by in my entire life. I wish I checked this website first because it would've saved me a headache. Do not take a class with this teacher in it ever, full stop. She is the most uncaring, pretentious, ignorant, and combative person I've ever come into contact with. Do not take it. Do not.

She was VERY RUDE. She'd tell us to ask question, then say, I'll get to that later and never answer the question. What's the use of asking question if she won't answer them when you ask them.

By far the most disrespectful/unbearable professor I have ever had the displeasure of studying under. Extremely rude and dismissive/extremely arrogant. Her grading is unreasonable and she doesn't give feedback. Assignments and exams are challenging because of her grammar and unclear instructions. It doesn't help that she's also VERY passive aggressive to her students. This semester many of us students addressed our concerns and her responses were incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional.

By far the worst professor/teacher I have ever had my whole academic career. Her assignments do not have clear instructions, her grading and feedback does not reflect the assignment, she does not curve an exams even though her class average was always around a 65-72%. I cannot even put into words how awful of a professor she is. Avoid her.

Runnn! This course was by far one of the most rigorous courses I have taken throughout my college career. The professor does not give clear feedback on assignments nor are her instructions clear about what she expects and wants within an assignment. She is a tough grader and you will often loss points if it does not align with her views.
