Her website is great, and her tests do get easier as the semester goes on. She tends to drone, but you don't really HAVE to show up for class to know whats going on, b/c of her website

Explains everything very well. She gives you her notes which are magnificent. One of the best science teachers ever! If you have difficulty understanding science, take this teacher. You will love her and the class.

I actually never had this teacher for any class, but when i was studing in the science center she came in and all of her students gathered around her and she went through each model in the center and told the students exactly what they needed to know!! she seems like a teacher that will go out of her way to help her students!!

Professor Jacaruso is an excellent A + P instructor. She goes out of her way to make sure the students understand the material, and is very approachable for additional after class instruction if you need any clarity on a particular subject. She is funny and personable and just an all around awesome instructor.

This professor is as generous with her teaching as she with her time. She is fair, by-the-book in love with the subject and patient with student questions. She gives you every opportunity to succeed in class, even giving you her own hard-earned class outlines.

She is great for A&P. She does get behind in leture, but she gives you the material to keep up. Do the study materials online. It takes a lot of time to do, but if you are in A&P you have to be commited to it anyways. This class is not ever easy, but she makes it passable. You have to study, but she is ALWAYS there for you. AP1 is every bit as hard as they say it is. The amount of information you have to learn is astronomical. Diane is by far the best prof to take for API. I am someone that has to know exactly what is on the tests and she tells you and as long as you follow her outline you should do well. Overall she is a great prof that is very generous w her time.

I really think she means well. She wants her students to do well; I think I took her at a bad time. She seemed to be very preoccupied with other things (such as her cat, brother's cat, and other jobs) Her class is hard- just like every A&P 2 class; I studied my butt off and i still got a "B" She rushed her class alot at the end trying to catch up.

She is a great teacher. If I had to take this class from anyone, it would be her. She has easy tests compared to everyone else and gives homework to help your test grades. This is A&P, you have to study your butt off no matter WHO you have. But...An A IS possible in her class!!!!

Great!, she is awesome. Tests are from notes. She even went to the science center to help students. I highly recommend her. She also lets you come in and copy notes if you can't keep up. One of the best teachers, but you have to apply yourself.

This was my second semester with Diana (API last fall). Shes good. Everything from the notes. I didn't like how time got away from her and she crammed cellular respiration. Overall, I would recommend her or Maines.

Jacaruso is awesome! She cares about her students success while others try to trick you or self doubt yourself although you know the material.She makes AP very challenging,but interactive and fun.Just have to STUDY!STUDY!STUDY!Can't get an A by sitting on your butt and spitting personal excuses.

A&P is not an easy subject, but with regular studying you will make it. It is best to read ahead and be on top of what will be covered in the next chapter. Ms.Jacaruso is wonderful. She will help you improve on your grades. if you take her class remember her office is always open for questions.You will pass if you follow her instructions.

By far the best teacher for AP I have ever seen. I got a bad grade but that was my fault. If your going for AP she is your best shot at an A. Study and study some more but your alternative teachers are way harder.

Diane is an teacher! She truely cares about her students, However, an A is not easy to get just bc AP is a touch subject itself; you still have to study..study hard..to earn your A.

I'm in Jacaruso's class right now for A&P I. I've really enjoyed her class for the most part. You really have to study your butt off but she's good at giving bonus questions on the test and her reviews are a great help. I currently have an A in her lecture. I am taking her for A&P II in summer

Had her for A&P II lab, might as well have been another lecture. She will answer questions when asked and look it up if she needs too. Do not feel like I got a whole lot out if it. Not sure that I would recommend her.

Very hard teacher but she will help you in everyway possible. She is always available to help. Her review questions are very helpful and she test like she teaches. i am taking her for a&P 2 this semester.

No, Jacaruso is not easy, but the subject matter is not easy to learn or to teach (and make interesting). She is not Tony Robins, but she shows enthusiasm for the subject and goes out of her way to help her students. If you want easy, choose another subject. If you want a hardworking, caring professor for a tough class, Jacaruso is a good choice.

She's a very nice and genuine teacher although she might be strict at times. I took her for A&P 1 and 2 both over the summer and she is very fast paced during her lectures, but she gives you an outline of the important stuff to write down while she talks. Just make sure you keep up with the notes, STUDY, and you'll do good.

Very knowledgeable professor. If she doesn't know something, she will find out before next class. Outlines are provided for every chapter and lecture follows them. Test reviews are also provided. If you study the outlines and reviews you can make an A. You have to put in the time and effort. You will learn from her.

Highly recommend!! I had her for lecture in A&P 1 this semester and she is a great teacher! She covers everything very clearly and provides the class with chapter outlines and other helpful material. I wish I was taking her for A&P 2 but her classes have already filled up because she is the best!

I took her A&P I lab. This class is not to be taken lightly, just FYI for future students. If you do not start to study for the lab the moment you get access to the packet, YOU WILL NOT PASS THE LAB. Other than that, she is pretty helpful. I hear she is even better for lecture.

Professor Diana is the best science professor at TCC. AP is a hard subject by itself but she will make it easier for you. She is really knowledgeable, Thoughtful, and awesome. She will give you everything you need to know for the test and she is always there to help you. I would highly recommend her if you want to build up your gpa.

Great teacher, test reviews are really helpful. If you study them and pay attention in class then an A is not hard to get. She also provides bonus questions on exams which helps boost your exam grades. She's very helpful and answer any questions you have for lecture and lab.

Dr . Diana Jacaruso, is one of the best professors I have ever had at TCC. Her lectures are amazing and she provides outlines for each chapter with all material that you need to know . She is always there to answer questions , even on her free times. Diana is very generous and care about her students. I love her and her teaching style.

Awesome professor! She gives you all the material you need if you're willing to work for it. It's a lot of work but she's available by email and office hours. I learned a lot from her and made a 99 in the lecture portion of this class. She gives lecture outlines, test reviews and worksheets for each chapter. Get ready to read, but worth it!

I am in Diana's 2401 class at El Centro College. I highly recommend her as this is not an easy class. I was disappointed to find out that she doesn't teach 2402. You can get an A in this class, but you have to really study, go to class, and not fall behind. Diana is not a tough grader, but the course material is very complex. It's a lot of work.

Had a better experience with this teacher in this past. This semester she was a little all over the place. Often gets off topic but finds her way back. Gives lecture outlines and test reviews. Doesn't always cover everything but will cover what you're going to be tested over. took her for lab as well. Didn't feel like I learned much.

I took Jacaruso for A&P1 Lecture and she was amazing! This is a tough class, no doubt, but she makes it easy for you to get an A if you do the work. She gives detailed outlines and reviews for each test. Sometimes will even go through the review in class. There is extra credit on almost every test. I hope I can take her for A&P2!

Jacaruso's anatomy class is easy to do well in. She gives test reviews with everything you need to know. One thing I found is you really don't have to study hard to do well on the exams, which means you have to relearn everything for the difficult lab midterm and final. If you want to not just get an A but really learn, she isn't for you.

Professor Jacaruso is the most incredible professor I have EVER had. I originally wanted to be a nurse, and left for business school because I was scared of the challenge. What an amazing professor to have for me getting my feet wet again. This class is very hard, but she will stand with you the whole time. Take her!

The most harder class I have ever taking, it require a lot of studying for lecture and lab for me the lecture is easier because the test is multiple choice but the lab is fill in the blank is 100 questions, but if you want to get A in this class you should not take hard class with it and you should study every day and memories a lot .

A&P is a very hard subject so prepare yourself. I loved Mrs. J! Provides lecture outlines test reviews and worksheets to help you learn. Homework is the LearnSmart system and it is very easy. Lab is only a midterm and final We had 4 main tests and we got to retake our lowest scoring test for our final exam If you score higher it replaces the other

A&P is brutal no matter the teacher. Jacaruso made things easy when she could. Very specific test reviews, opportunity for extra credit, fair amount of homework. You have to study like nothing you've ever done before but if you do her tests are easy to make an A on. The lab is a nightmare but that's not her fault. I would highly recommend her!

Jacaruso is hands down the BEST professor I could've asked for for A&P. She is incredibly clear in what she expects and you can easily achieve an A if you work for it. I studied almost everyday to get all the material in my head, but it was worth it for the A in the end! Take her & WORK for it. You won't be disappointed if you put in the effort.

I took her for both A&P I and II, got an A. For LAB, fill out your lab book!! She has no control over what is being tested in LAB! If you need extra help, she is available outside of class to help, but you need to be proactive and ask for help! She will do her best to help you understand what you don't. I have her for lecture only for A&P II. Her chapter outlines are so very helpful; just print them out and fill in during lecture. Connect homework assignments are short. If you do the test reviews she provides you will easily get an A on the exams. It's a hard class, but she provides everything you need. She's clear about what you need to know.

A&P2 is an intensive and challenging course. If you don't commit time to study, you will not do well. That being said, Prof. Jacaruso is very helpful and answers any questions you may have. She's very responsive by email and will meet you when you need to. Her lectures can be all over the place, but she only goes over what she wants you to know.

I loved taking Mrs. Jacaruso. She wants you to pass! Multiple choice lecture tests! She's extremely responsive and helpful over email. She went above and beyond for her students when COVID-19 hit and we had to switch to online. An A in her class is definitely obtainable if you put in the work outside of class. People do not give her enough credit!

I would take it again! I took A&P2 during summer and made an A+. At the beginning I was a little bit confused with her outlines but later on I understood them. Make sure you complete those outlines and make homework, IT WILL BE HELPFUL! Also, she was flexible with students with dates which was very nice from her. She is a very knowledgeable person.

She was very nice, her lectures can be a little confusing. If you have her for lab, be expected to teach yourself from the posted videos from another teacher. I liked her for lecture. However for lab, it would have been nice to get a better understanding of the material during class time.
