She is horrible! Does not give examples and talks so fast, you don't have time for notetaking. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN! YOU MUST KNOW IT FROM THE HEART!! KNOW YOUR STATEMENTS as if you had been doing them for years. She's been teaching forever and forgets students are just learning the stuff. Her EXPECTATIONS are way too high for beginners. YIKES!
I knew the class was going to be hard, but wow! She talks about terms but her test are composed with problems not the terms she talked about in class, he doesnt give any examples UNTILE the 3rd test when we all dropped the class already
Although professor works problems in class, her test are astronomically hard. Impossible to pass unless your a CPA already.
she is terrible instr and hope she does not know how to teach Acct. Do not take her class and she was terrible.
HORRIBLE TEACHER WLL NEVER TAKE AGAIN
Her class was difficult but i did learned. As long as you study the material and understand it, you should be fine. I worked hard for the A and she is a good professor.
She a really nice lady but her class is very difficult. Her lectures are very fast paced - don't even bother trying to take notes or asking her to repeat something - and she expects you to already be an accounting expert. Very little examples done in class. Don't expect a review before the tests, not even the final exam!
She is hard, but is very willing to help you outside the class. I am going to take her again. She really wants you to know the stuff, and if you study hard, you will do fine. But be sure to study, no slacking!
The courses that Dr. Pence teaches are the meat and potatos of accounting. She is an excellent professor and cuts no slack. Her ability to teach and her willingness to help, make her an excellent instructor. Make the effort, work hard, and you will make a good grade. She is extremely fair. You want to be a good accountant take her.
She is good to teach, but her test is extremely hard. Many people said that she likes to fail student.
She is a good teacher and teaches well, but some of the tests were not graded correctly leaving me to wonder if I could have had a better grade in the class. She corrected the mistakes that we caught, but what about the ones that were overlooked????????
Her personality is ok, she teaches good, but her test is too difficult most people are fail in her class. her review sheet is not useful!
Once again Dr. Pence excelled. Her classes are not a gimme. Work hard, show up in class, you will not just do well, you will learn. Of course the assumption is that students who take her are serious accounting students! She is so fair, and incredibly helpful and does not make you feel stupid. I will take her again for Inter III.
Accounting is a difficult class, so don't blame it on the teacher. In the real world you HAVE to know the fundamentals or you will get not get the job and if you get the job, you will be fired if you don't know your accounting. If you trully want to learn, take her class, if you want an easy "A", but don't care to learn.
She'ss horrible she's really hard. Her test are crazy you have to know the information inside and out. I would never take her and not recommend it to no one
She is very hard professor. She goes strictly by the book word by word. Her lectures are as if she was reading you the book and she's not. Her test are out of this world. You ask for examples or explanations she gives you page #'s or just reads what's there.
If you can take someone else, DO IT! She does curve, but is hard to follow. Her test reviews are bad! She expects you to know all the material. She told our class, "the majority of you failed this exam, you should not be accountants!" VERY DISRESPECTFUL!!!!
She spends lots of time going over terminology and concepts, but sometimes it's really hard to follow. Definitely read the book for this class and do the exercises. It will help you on the exams. Her grading is confusing, but she does tend to curve a couple of problems on each exam.
She recites from the text book way to much. For accounting examples, just copies from the computer generated samples problems sheet and onto the broad; a handout would have work much better. Tests, unless you live and breath accounting, they will be very hard.
Could be a good teacher, but she teaches too many upper level Accounting classes so she expects you to know things that you don't...and you will get lost from there. Also grades HARDDDDD!!!!!!
If there is anyone that you can take, then take them. This instructor reads from the PowerPoint presentations and directly from the book. She even told us that she did not want to lose half of the class after the second exam. That was really encouraging.
SHE GIVES PLENTY OF NOTES POWER POINT SLIDES I KNOW OF WOULD OF DONE BETTER I REALLY STUDIED REAL GOOD BUT I DIDN'T BUT SHE'S A REAL GOOD TEACHER SHE KNOWS WHAT SHE'S TEACHING AND IF U PUT ALOT OF ATTENTION U WILL GET A GOOD GRADE
Accounting is uper hard, so if don't care to learn and want an easy "A" do not take Pence. You will actually learn a lot in her class. She goes REALLY REALLY FAST, so be ready to hit the floor running. No time to slack off!! She did spend way too much time on fundamentals and should have spent that time on the harder material.
Do not take her. Very hard in grading and material too heavy. She wants u to know everything in the book.
This professor is hard. She teaches straight out of the book so it's kind of hard to relate and understand the material. She's willing to do homework problems when asked. And she did provide reviews towards the end of semester, which kind of help. She does want you to know a lot though for the tests. Make sure you understand the problems.
Accounting is a tuff subject to begin with so you must really apply yourself and study the material. If you know study like you should, then you will do fine on her tests. She is very helpful and does tend to curve problems on the test. You will get out of this class what you put into it. Good luck and study hard.
DO NOT TAKE HER!!!! She makes a difficult subject even more difficult. She treats you like you are in grade school by assigning seats during the final. She tries to run through the material so fast. She wants you to know every DETAIL in the book for exams. She doesn't encourage you at all she just rants how we all wish were were in Intermediate 3.
She was a very fair teacher and conveyed the subject matter in an easy to follow format. Only complaint is that she provided very little in terms of real world examples. Tests can be difficult but then again, we aer talking about Intermediate Accounting, not PE.
I would not take her again, her tests are hard, multiple choice questions are ok but when you have to do income statements, balance sheets, or journal entries on tests, she will deduct a lot of points points for the smallest mistakes. She is willing to help you through the course though. Do the homework assignments and youll be ok.
Exams where extremly hard.. Lectures were totally boring...but I have to admit she was clear... but it is an upperlevel class
Dr. Pence is a great teacher. If you are not an accounting major and not interested in learning, please look for another instuctor. If you are sitting for the CPA, this instructor is great. I am an accounting major and I sorry that I did not have her for my previous acctg classes. She answers ?'s and willing to help clarify.
Intermediate Accounting is tough. Her tests are pretty difficult and require a lot of studying. She is always willing to help though. She even sets up a Saturday tutoring time before the test for any one interested.
She is an excellent accounting instructor. She's very knowledgeable and helpful. She even came in on Saturdays sometimes to go over questions. It seems as if she really wants you learn and successfully grasp accounting. Sometimes she seems to go at a slow pace but I found that it helps me to really grasp the concepts for more difficult problems.
She is the best professor i have had so far and really enjoys teaching and accounting. She is extremely helpful and you can call or email her. She has saturday tuturing and you will learn alot even stuff that is not tested over. She explains well just give her a chance.
This is not an easy class but she does take a lot of time to be sure you understand! Take her if you really want to learn and not just pass!
Dr. Pence is great. The class is not easy. Requires a lot of studying, but she goes out of her way to schedule extra "help sessions" for anyone who needs it. I would take her again.
Her exams are extremly hard, but you they are manageable if you study. Lectures are very boring but you cant blame her its accounting. She drops one exam. Attendence is a must! she is very clear in her lectures and very easy to understand. Its just that she has HARD exams!
Class is hard, but Prof is really nice and helpful if you want to learn, thn take her.
Dr. Pence is very helpful. Her tests aren't *that* hard if you read the material. She will answer your questions very patiently. She went over a lot of problems in class which was very helpful. She also makes herself available on Saturdays before tests. If you need help, take advantage of this opportunity!
I took Dr. Pence for all of Intermediate Acct. She is a very good teacher and will come in on Saturdays to help you understand the material. I struggled a little with 3302 but entirely my fault. She's very helpful and don't be afraid to ask questions and seems to sincerely want you to understand. But ask questions or she'll think you understand.
Very intensive during the summer; gave no breaks. 5 exams, 2 full page essays, and attendance was linked to grade. She is hard and so is the course content!
She is an awesome professor and I would highly recommend her for anyone sitting for the CPA. She is able to explain some of the more difficult questions in a way to make them easy to understand. Her grading is fair and tough and she gives you the chance to prove your answer if it was counted wrong on the test. Study the homework she assigns!!
Dr. Pence is the best teacher i have had. I took her for my intermediates and advanced. She is very helpful and patient with queestions in class and her office hours. She makes herself available on saturdays for students. I would reccommend her. Her tests are straight from class and problems assigned
She tries and really wants you to learn the method of how financial information is accounted and reported, but if you don't know the whys knowing the hows would be of much benefit to you. She's also another of those professors at UHD who teaches to the test. But still, relatively speaking, she's a good teacher to take immediates from.
Took her for Intermediate 2, 3 & advanced. She is great at taking the time to explain things and goes through most homework problems in class. You will pass so long as you always come to class and do all the homework problems. 99% of the test problems come directly from the homework in Advanced. She will help you outside of class if you need it.
she teach very well..... exept that her exams are very difficult..... but ill tell you that i learn so mcuh... ill defintly recommand her....
Love her style of teaching. I've taken her for all of my accounting courses . She is very helpful and fair when grading .
Pence is a very knowledgable & accessible for extra help. She gets behind schedule which makes learning the material difficult. Test problems are very tricky & don't compare to difficulty on exams. Overall, she is the best choice out of 3302 professors just be prepared to study study study. Work all of the assigned problems multiple times.
Dr. Pence is knowledgeable however she does not teach. She simply writes problems on the board and waits for you to copy it. She will answer your questions if you know what to ask. No instructions, explanations, nothing. I found her to be useless.
One of the best accounting teachers I have seen at UHD. Her explanations are very clear. I wished I had taken her for acct 1 and 2. Whatever I didn't learn in acct 1 and 2, I learned after taking her this class. I worked little hard and I got an A+. If you are the one who wants to learn then she is the one. Good Luck.
not a walk in the park!4 exams and final optional if you need, final replaces lowest grade if taken, exams are just like her examples, she does not blind-side you, MUST STUDY, attendance is mandatory. she's accessible via phone at anytime, does give extra pts on exams, very rigid when grading exams
She is amazing. She is the first professor at UHD that has taught me something about Accounting. Don't get me wrong, she is tough, but she is fair. She is extremely thorough and detailed. I loved my summer class with her. She won't be an "easy A", but you will leave her class feeling like you've learned something.
This course is extremely intensive. She's almost not teaching just doing the problems for the exam. I felt it's useless, because she only taught you how to do the exam but which is not really practical for reality.
Do not take her!!!She doesn't care about her students. Read the book/notes and no review before test. I don't think she is a good teacher because she doesn't show the responsibility of a teacher should do! come on!!!!
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS with pence!!! He lectures are so hard to follow that I had to teach my self doing hwork problems from the book, no reviews for the test, she throws trick questions, deducts points for small things, test are not like hwork problems, more than half the class are failing!! It's time for her to retire!!!
Really good at teaching. Although not very approachable.
no teaching, no instructions. the Worst accounting class i have ever taken from UHD. She didn't even know what she's doing in the class. Save your money, take other Professors'.
Excellent professor. She goes over the problems in great detail to where you can understand it. Homework is not mandatory, but will help you understand the subject matter. Tests are very similar to the problems she has already worked in class. Great professor, definitely one of the top ones for accounting clases.
she just reads off the book/PowerPoint. 4 exams, final replaces a lowest grade. 10 MC, no True/False and 4 or 5 work problems. you have to show every single step on a work problem or a journal entry. She does not teach anything if you don't have any questions. she writes problems on the board and wait for you copy it down. You MUST read the book.
Dr. Pence is a great teacher that knows the material for accounting quite well. She is stresses the more important information so that we can take it and move onto the next class. She will organize study sessions outside of class, to ensure you get all the help you need. She is the best instructor to take to learn about accounting.
Mrs. Pence is a really good teacher. She really cares about people understanding accounting. I took her class for Acc 4302 and 4301 Any problem that she goes over more than once will be on the test. She moves test according to how she feels the class is learning. In Acc 4301 we had to do a paper and in 4302 a 2min speech you get credit if you do it
I do not understand the people saying she's a great teacher! She's the worst! She doesn't lecture or teach she just reads off this notes paper, she doesn't explain anything, she just kinda skips around, she tells you more about what you'll do in later classes than the current one. She cancels class, office hours and moves the test dates!
Professor Pence is the type of instructor who actually cares about how her students will perform in the real world after college. She's very insightful. Not an easy A, makes you work for your grade. Gives make up exams. If you're majoring in Accounting take her. No quizzes, no homework. 4 exams (drops lowest grade), 1 spreadsheet project.
This prof was horrible even after you have take the final out of the 4 test we have taken no one knows the test grades for test 3 and 4. Her test are straght forward. She usually has 10 multiple choice and JE or balance sheet and income statement. I did not like her whatsoever. But its better than the other prof who you can understand.
I managed to get a B, but literally busted my behind to get it. Not necessarily a difficult class, but there is a TON of information to remember. Dr. Pence's biggest concern is being able to properly do basic accounting, so learning how to put together an Income Statement and Balance Sheet, JE's, and closing transactions are very much emphasized.
If you want to struggle take her. Hard grader and sucks at lecturing. Being able to teach yourself is not enough. Failing students and seeing them struggle is her goal. I would avoid taking her.
She's the toughest grader in the world. She makes accounting ten times harder than it needs to be. Summer I class, 3 exams, and an exam disguised as a quiz but only worth 30 pts. She determines how much the problems are worth as she grades them and is not consistent. JE worth 5 pts test 1, same JE worth 8 points test 2. Stupid smh.
If you want to understand accounting, you need take Dr. Pence. You have to study in order to do well in her class, but she will inspire you to want to learn. She engages all of her students and teaches with logic and simplicity. I highly, highly recommend her.
So rude. Every time I asked a question during class, she would completely ignore me. I tried asking her questions after class and her attitude was so rude that it made me not even want to ask because it seemed like I was bothering her. The way she teaches isn't very clear, so basically in her class you need to read a lot and teach yourself.
Her teaching style is really great. If you copy notes well and pay attention to what she says, as well as, do homework problems till you know how to work the problems she does in class, then you will get an A or B in the class.
Awesome teacher. She's a tough grader (pay attention to instructions on test), but she will do everything possible to make sure you understand the material. She gives out her personal cell number, which always says a lot about a teacher, and will help you any time she's free. I'm def taking her again for intermediate 3.
Professor Pence isn't hard, you just have to study to make the grade. ACC 3300 is the most hardest to teach compared to ACC classes that you will take afterwards. I recommend that you study, study and make sure you ask lots of questions during class. Also know how to make your financial statements:Journal Entries and Balance Sheet. It will help
She isn't necessarily hard, she just has high standards (not a bad thing). Make sure you read the chapters before class, take notes, practice the homework (not for a grade). Only 5 tests, lowest dropped. She is hard of hearing, so speak up. Will work with you if you need help, you must ask for it. I am taking her for ACC3301.
This is not a easy class so you have to study allot. The professor is moody, she yelled at the class when the highest grade for the 2nd exam was a 56. She is a hard grader so really know how to set up the problems you have to work out. There is no homework but I advise you to do them to do well in the class. She works out some problems on the board
Her class is not easy at all. She grades hard but I honestly wouldn't take this class with anybody else! She is the most knowledgeable in this subject than any other professor. I had to take ACC 3301 twice! because my first professor was not good at all. You MUST work the problems. She has Saturday sessions sometimes to help students before tests.
The worst professor I have had! She was so rude to me every time i tried asking a questions. I felt as if she had something against me personally and she didn't even know me at all. Even if I stayed after class was over to ask her a question she wouldn't answer it or help me at all. DO NOT TAKE HER. VERY RUDE PROFESSOR!!
Dr. Pence is helpful, offers study sessions, and answers all questions. The exams are tough and can be confusing. Multiple choice and written problems taken from HW/notes,drops the lowest test. 4 Exams and Comprehensive final. One easy ethics case. Do her examples and HW problems over and over again. Test reviews are not helpful, too broad!
She is helpful, offers study sessions, answers all questions. The exams are tough and can be confusing. Multiple choice and written problems taken from HW/notes,drops the lowest test. 4 Exams and Comprehensive final. easy ethics case. Practice is key. Go over and over her examples. They are always on the test, ignore study guide. Slow to grade
I have taken Dr. Pence for my last 2 int. courses, and I have to say she is one of the best professors I have ever had for accounting. She is very accessible outside the classroom, I used to text her while studying and she always texted back. She offers study sessions and drops the lowest grade. The first test is always a review on journal entries.
Takes forever to get grades to you. Text was useless. Prof slow to respond & provided short answers. If avoidable I would not take this prof again.
She blabs. Talks about things you will encounter in other semesters and has no rhyme or reason to how and what she teaches. You'll have no idea what to expect on your exams. Super slow to grade and provide feedback. You basically have to read the book, teach yourself , and hope that what you've taught yourself is what she's testing on. STAY AWAY!
If you are trying to have an easy grade, she is not it. She will make you work for your grade. So, buckle down and hit the books.
Shes horrible. Doesnt even adhere to GAAP.
Make sure you show all your work on exams, first exam on journal entries she deducted 14 point because I failed to show my work. Other than that go to class and you will pass. Take notes and study the problems she works out in class because they will be on the test. 4 exams (she drops the lowest grade), 1 final (multiple choice), and 1 project.
Good professor. Four exams but drops the lowest grade. Final was multiple choice. She does take a long time to grade the exams but that is because she gives partial points even when the question is answered incorrectly.
Save yourself the stress and do NOT take her. She grades hard, takes off for everything, and when you ask her a question shes not the nicest about answering it. In class she goes through the problems really fast know the material before class. She doesnt give reviews or any hints about the material on the exams. I dont understand why shes here.
Teaches really fast by the time you finish writing your notes she's already onto the next lesson. The notes are always posted a day late for some odd reason b/c thats her preference. Never posts grades on BB, she's really old school and very particular. She will give you enough to only know what's on half the test the other half is random.
save yourself the stress and do not take her. she teaches really fast and abbreviates all sorts of account names and other random stuff, by the time you figure out what the abbreviation are/means, shes already done with the chapter.
save yourself the stress and confusion. She writes sloppy on the board and takes forever to grade exams. Taking a long time to grade exams is one thing but she doesn't even address in class when they will be ready. You email her to ask for your grade and she's rude back. AVOID. AT. ALL. COST.
I wouldn't suggest taking her unless you can learn easily from reading the book. She basically just reads it back to you word for word. She is hard of hearing, so if you have a question you'll likely be ignored. You would probably be better off taking an online course than her.
WORST TEACHER EVER!! If I could teach myself the subject I would have taken an online course. She basically sits at the front and reads directly from the book. She does not give any extra help and can't hear a thing so don't bother trying to ask questions. Does not explain the material, but her tests are HARD!! Would not recommend!
She is rude, horrible and does not like to repeat herself. She talks mainly about her cats. She really needs to retire. I ended up dropping her class, something I've NEVER done before!
Dr. Pence is a strict professor. You must be ready to work hard in her class. Subject is difficult but that is to be expected. She does problems on board, but does so in a fast manner. Takes FOREVER to grade exams, and is a tough grader but will give some partial credit. 4 Exams, 1 Final, 1 project, she will drop the lowest of the exams.
4 tests & a final. The lowest test grade of the 4 will be dropped. Tests are not multiple choice. The class is not easy but you will learn if you try and want to learn. I suggest if you take this professor you start at Int 1. Students that start at int 2 struggle because they are used to tests being multiple choice. I'm glad I took this professor.
Good Professor, she tells you what problems to study for exam, as long as you study the problems, you will pass. You must study them and know how to work them. Homework is not mandatory. But overall, I recommend her.
Worst professor in the 4 years of school here. She reads directly out of the chapter, no slides, no worksheets. She cannot hear well so trying to ask her a question or answering her questions is basically a joke. She forgets things sometimes and forgot/chose not to inform us what the exams would look like. If you care about your gpa DONT TAKE HER.
Can not hear, (even with 6 students yelling same thing). Makes you feel stupid when you ask a question. She runs late EVERY class ... Like standing outside the door after class starts everytime... She mumbles and talks to board instead of the class. Trouble understanding her because she does not enunciate either. AWFUL. Waste of TIME.
Please do yourself a favor and do not in any circumstances take her for ACC3300. All she does is confuse you. She definitely has the knowledge but not in her best fit to be an accounting professor. She assumes you can read her mind and won't make it clear at class or exam. So good luck if you still want to be in her class.
I took this prof. for Intermediate 3 Fall 19'. She was strict but on the bright side, she did a lot of examples/probs/hw while trying to explain her lectures. Honestly, this is a tough class. You need to work extra hours for it. Attending classes, practicing probs, and studying hard, you will pass with an easy A.
She is the worst professor Ive ever had. She cant hear you so if you need to ask a question most of the time you wont be heard. You have to teach yourself basically, she just does a lecture no PowerPoint just writes on the board while you try to keep up. Her tests are all problems no multiple choice, you have to show work exactly right.
Took her for ACC3302. She is hard and she also has trouble hearing. However, she gives out reviews for all the exams. You have to do the reviews couple of times and read the book in order to get a good grade. For higher accounting class, you should not expect an easy A. There will be 3 exams and 1 final. You will learn a lot taking her class
Dr. Pence knows her stuff. She breaks things down and tries to give real-world examples. She is extremely caring and goes out of her way to help students but she is tough. The class consists of 4 exams, she drops the lowest, final, and a project. The exams are all problems, no multiple choice. If you do not put in the extra hours you wil fail.
THIS IS CLASS IS NOT FOR US WHO HAVE TO WORK FULL TIME, ARE FULL TIME PARENTS, AND STILL TRYING TO GET AN EDUCATION. IF YOU ARE TAKING MORE THAN 2 CLASSES PER SEMESTER DO NOT TAKE HER. DOES NOT BELIEVE IN MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST, BEFORE CLASS READ THE CHAPTER AND DO THE HOMEWORK PROBLEMS TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING. REREAD REVIEW REREAD REVIEW.
If you don't know journal entries then get ready! Only 4 exams, final (can be exempt), and financial statements project, no homework to turn in or quizzes. She is great teacher and explains everything clearly. Exams/project must be handwritten She has a difficulty hearing. This is not an easy A class, you will work for it!
Dr. Pence was a really good professor. While attendance isn't mandatory, you will not learn everything you need to do well in class if you don't attend. She is understanding and a good teacher. I would take her again! Just go to class, read the book, and do the homework and you will do well. She also does study sessions if you ever need extra help.
Show up and pay attention. Don't be afraid to stop her, she wants to help you. If you don't understand, speak up!If she works a problem in class. Rework that problem on your own and that will help you understand what she expects from you. Do all the homework even though it isn't for a grade. She drops your lowest exam grade.
Only 4 exams. Hard to communicate, has a hard time with hearing and doesn't understand the questions. She would try her best to post her videos from class, but those videos were mostly a backscreen. Tough grader, make sure you solve questions how she wants. Everyone in my class was struggling to feel confident in the material being taught.
Take this professor. It will be different than your other professors. She ACTUALLY teaches, but you will be expected to handwrite exams. If you are a person who cares about accounting and want to learn, then take her. I am convinced all the bad reviews are students who didn't bother trying, and expected free grades.
Dr. Pence CARES about her students. It's not an easy A but as long as you put in the work, you'll be fine. Read the book, do the assigned problems and ask questions. She'll bend over backwards to help you understand anything you're having trouble with. Super accessible and quick to respond - would take her again in a heartbeat.
She is so hard to give you grade for exams, and you have to be write down all the problems on the ways she taught you. If not you lose many points
Gret professor. Goes in detail to explain everything. Shows exactly what is on tests before the test. 4 exams, 1 final, and 1 project. But the project is simply the second exam again. The hardest part of the class is even though it is online, you have to handwrite the tests.
I know people have mixed opinions, but I liked her. She's old school and likes things done on paper(tests & projects). I suggest you come to class, take notes, rewatch the recordings before the next week of class, and make sure you understand after watching. 4 exams(400pts), final exam(100pts), and a solo project(50pts).
4 exams 1 final, all exams are protocored by her during class. Only tests in that class and no homework so you really have to study. She is great at explaining but you definitely have to put in work for a good grade but it is possible. All the work she does looks exactly like the exam
Professor Pence is tough but fair. Her teaching style takes some adjusting, but if you put in the work - read the textbook, attend class, and use study tools like unstuck ai - you can do well. Exams are challenging but she genuinely cares about student success.
She's terrible. Bad grader, bad lecturer, No graded assignments, no group projects, extra credit or homework that count towards your overall grade. 4 exams and a final. Answers are Handwritten and not multiple choice. I don't know where they found her but she shouldn't be anywhere near teaching at this campus. Take anybody but her
Dr. Pence's teaching style is more traditional compared to the typical online course format. Homework assignments must be completed by hand and uploaded, and exams are conducted via Zoom. Only the exams are graded. I did not like the teaching style, would not take again.
She doesn't give homework and only grades the four tests(400), final exam(100), and project(50). Everything is clear if you're paying attention and she helps when you need it. She is old school so keep that in mind when you have to turn everything in handwritten. She did get a little sick this semester but was more lenient about grades.
