she is really a nice teacher and easy if you work. the homework is almost all in the computer wich if fine because i work alot. in overall she is Very good

I really like this teacher i literally barley passed math in high school and then now im gettin A's and B's on my test. she really helps and slowly goes over what she is teaching i really reccommend her.

she is very nice. makes sure you understande the material that its being covered. even though she has a spanish accent she maneges to explain the chapter. a very nce lady very funny too. take her if you wanna pass... well its math so oviosly is going to be hard and complicated.. enjoy

Took this professor for MAT 1103 too. She teaches to the syllabus reviews before tests, cares about her students and wants them to do well.It helps to do homework and further study on MathXL but I didn't buy the book, it's not needed in class.

Remesar is a great teacher and I wish her class was longer because she has to push all the material into a measly hour(that's my only compliant). She is overall a kind, generous professor. I dislike math and that probably won't changed regardless of who is teaching it, but she made it a bit more bearable. She also will help you if you require help.

SHE IS A NICE TEACHER. HER TEACHING IS KINDA FAST, I HAD TO STAY AFTER FOR ABOUT AN HOUR, BUT WHEN ITS ONE ON ONE I REALLY GOT EVERYTHING STRIGHT. SHE DOES GIVE PLENTY OF EXTRA CREDIT, WHICH DOES HELP, AS LONG AS YOU DO THE MATH XL H.W. YOU WILL PASS NO PROBLEM, THATS THE ONLY IMPORTANT THING.

Good teacher. the material is clear the only problem is that she goes very fast. If your math skills are not that strong buy the book and hit the math lab. I spent like 6 hours each week at the lab. Test are not that hard as long as you study the review sheet. She also reviews for the test. She gives extra credit.

I thought this class was an easy A. She is kind of fast and hard to understand sometimes, but if you do the homework the tests should be easy. You can get 100's on all the homeworks and there is extra credit for every test. She is also super nice! And she will do anything to help you!

I took her for MAT1033. She is fairly easy and wants to help you. Her accent is kind of hard to understand and she moves very fast. Have to use Mathxl for hw's which was a pain.

First time I took this class I failed it & then retook it with her, which made such a difference. I learned things I didn't before & understand so much better. She drops the lowest test grade which helps alot. Also gives extra credit. Very helpful & excellent at explaining the material. Take her for any math you need!

Took MAT1033 during the 8 week semester in Winter. the textbook is never used so you don't need to spend that money. Her homework is due on Aleks which is a pain but helps alot with your grade, and it does take up a good amount of hours for each classwok assignment. Only 3 out of 4 test count. She is extremely helpful and gives extra credit.

She's SUCH a great teacher, not to mention a great person. She's interested in helping EACH and EVERY student as much as she can. Grades are generous. Homework is helpful. Tests are fair and on what was learned. Good extra credit, and always willing to help outside of class. TAKE HER. (I had never been good at math before her!)

4 tests she drops the lowest grade. no midterm but a final. i got a low A. In her office hours she is always available and she cares about her students. you can ask her anything about math inside and outside of the classroom. i recommend her. (you will need to study and dont buy the book)

Very nice and helpful math teacher! drops the lowest test grade and no midterm but a final! she is always willing to help during class and outside of class. she encourages questions in class and homework is never more than can be handled!

I love Professor Remesar. It is a challeging class and you really have to focus and study! She explains things really well. She gives tests in class and alot of extra credit, there is no midterm just a final. I passed with a C and I actually tried /:

She's a good teacher but you definitely gotta study at least 2-5 days before a test. The tests are pretty challenging but not impossible if you study. She's super helpful, very nice, and very understanding. Better than most math teachers I've had. Not the easiest class, got a C. Was expecting a B though.

By far one of my favorite professors. She genuinely cares for her students. Extremely helpful, great teaching skills, gives a ton of extra credit, and drops the lowest test grade. The material is tough if you do not study you will not pass! I would take her again if I had the chance and I already recommended her to many students!

Best math professor I have ever had. she would let me stay after class to understand things more clearly. the homework is online and all the practice test as well. this class is easy to pass as long as you go to every class, study, and pay attention! I passed with an A without any struggle!

Had her for Buissness Calc. She is very helpful and gives you available extra credit points. Her tests are pretty easy as long as you go to class and pay attention your sure to get a decent grade.

She's really awesome and goes step by step to make sure you understand it. Gives allot of sources for you to practice via mathXL, her study guides, practice tests (extra credit) and boarding passes (extra credit). Her tests are challenging so make sure you get your practicestudying in.

She is very clear with the lesson, gives good notes, and good examples. She answers all of the questions. Explains really well, and made it easy. I got a C in high school and I got an A with her. Gives extra credit quizzes. Homework through MathXL is an easy A, just do it. She is a great PreCalc teacher, and I'm taking her again for Trig.

She is an amazing teacher. She really knows what she's doing. Lessons are clear, gives great examples, and made trig easy. There is homework, but that's how you practice. I got a B in high school trig, but with her it was super easy. I'm taking her again for Calculus. If you take her, you'll never have math with another professor again.

very straightforward. really knows her stuff and knows how to explain the material. take her for MAT1033. i plan on taking her for higher level math courses as well. most of the stuff is on ALEKS. she explains everything step by step and breaks it down and lets you look at it from a different perspective.

gives extra credit points. took her for 1033 and college algebra and got an A in both. She tries her best to help and answers questions. In order to pass you MUST do aleks or you will fail. End of story.

She can teach and very helpful you have 24 worksheet, 4 test that's worth A LOT, and 8 objective on aleks, and fianl. What I don't like is the test worth 90 points each and final is worth 140 points and classwork is just worth 5 each and each objective is just worth 25. Biggest mistake is taking session 2 and I'm not good in math but she is a good

Best math class I've ever taken. She's very clear with the material and if you don't understand, you can ask her and she'll explain it in another way. Homework is graded but gives chances for extra credit and drops lowest test grade. I would definitely recommend this professor to anyone taking this class.

Second time taking remesar. She is very compassionate and highly competent and knowledgeable and explains foreign concepts in a way that it sticks. she is very funny and makes sure we pay attention. be prepared to use ALEKS. she is always wiling to help her students and finds ways to better help us understand math. she is fair and very approachable

Love her, she is funny and is there for you when you need her. If you need help with ALEKS or anything else, she will stay after class to help you. If you do your hw online, that tells her that you are present in class. Her tests are not hard if you study and understand the material.

Professor Remesar is an awesome Math teacher. For those of you who struggle with math like I do , this is the teacher for you. She is very clear on class objectives. What we do in class is what you see on tests- no hidden agendas. Offers extra credit and is extremely accommodating when it comes to office hours. Takin her again for precal.

All the homework is on ALEKS 360. Professor Remesar is a very through and caring professor. She will keep explaining till you understand fully. There are opportunities to make up for low test scores with classwork.

This is my second time taking Prof. Remesar. She is a real sweetheart and is caring. Her teaching is really easy to understand and she doesn't give a lot of hw. She gives extra credit for tests. Everything except tests and boarding passes are done online. Miss class? You can find the lecture online, too. :D

THIRD TIME TAKING REMESAR. TOOK HER SINCE MAT1033. SHE IS VERY NICE AND CARING AND WILL GO OUT OF HER WAY TO HELP STUDENTS. TRIG IS NOT AN EASY CONCEPT BUT SHE MAKES IT FRIENDLIER. TESTS ARE CHALLENGING BUT STUDY. WISH I CAN TAKE HER AGAIN.

I've been with professor remesar since MAT1033 and i think she is such a caring teacher . if you dont understand something in the lecture you can go to her in her office hours and she will gladly help you. Trig was a bit hard and honestly i past her class with an 80 plus she gives you alot of extra credit. also taking her for MAC2311 aka calculus

I took her back in the Fall and Spring of 2016/17 for Pre Calc and Trig, and I could have not asked for a better teacher. She is extremely kind and explains the material very well. Her lectures are easy to follow, and she is always willing to help a student in need.

She is a great professor. Before each exam, she gives a study guide and a boarding pass assignment that help get ready for the exam. She is very clear and specific explaining each topic. I loved her class!

This is a comment that would end all comments. Absolutely one of the best professor to ever teach me. Math is definitely my weakest subject but she makes it believable that Its not, she will teach the class a lesson and have class work after and then test the next week. The class was well organized.

I usually hate math and don't do well. I had her for trig and she made it so painless and easy to understand. Shes very caring and WANTS you to ask questions (unlike some teachers where you're too scared to ask something outloud). If you struggle with math, Professor Remesar wont let you down. Take her.

HW's are on MML which is very easy if you just sit down and look over the ex. provided. 4 tests, one final and 4 Easy extr crd paper. She will sit and grade based on your process and not by the answer which is awesome! take her

The only reason I put the level of difficulty at 3 is because this is a math class but it is super easy if you attend class. Professor Remesar is clear when she teaches and always available for questions or help. If you want to pass her tests, I would suggest completing the ALEKS review as your study guide. Idk maybe it's the subject, or maybe the remote learning, but I'm not sure how to rate this professor. You can tell she wanted the class to be more interactive, and she wanted to make sure we knew what was being taught but sometimes it was a hit or miss. She's not a bad professor, but I learned the material better on my own. She is understanding

This professor is really good! She is caring about every student. Just do everything on time, do not procrastinate! Drop off the lowest grade, giving extra time and extra credit.

She is such a great teacher. Attendance is not mandatory but extremely important. She will teach step by step until you get it right. H.W is through Pearson(online) and I strongly recommend you do it all, since she will pick problems from there and put it on the test. 4 quizzes/4 tests/1 final. I loved her class and I will take her again for Cal.

I took professor Remesar for MAC1147. I see is a really good teacher and you can ask her to repeat a question 15 times and she'll still repeat it for you just to make sure you understand it. She's the sweetest lady, and she really does want you to pass. This class is a fast pace class so as long as you pay attention and show up you will do fine.

Professor Remesar is amazing! She is very understanding and caring of her students. She is someone who loves what she does and it is obvious how much she cares for her students. Even though, i was not a great test taker, she was understanding and helped me at the end of the semester. She had a great impact on me. Definitely take her class!

Class consists of homework, 4 open-note quizzes,4 exams, and a final. She gives extra credit like clockwork. Tests/quizzes are graded based on work; even if the question is wrong she gives points if work is shown. An amazing professor overall.

This professor is great! I attended her office hours a lot, and she was very helpful. The course itself was pretty good. The assignments were lengthy but doable. The tests were straightforward. If you knew the info in the assignment, you would get 100% on the test. The content can get confusing so I really recommend utilizing office hours.

Be ready to have HW gives alot of extra credits and may remove 1 test grade the lowest one and around 6 hw grades lowest as well.
