She chooses the worst books for human resource management. They were very expensive and you have to read both books and memorize six chapters for every test. no do slides or anything online for you to study.Her study guide is basically just general terms to memorize. She never explains any of the the assignments. dont take this class.

Prof. Smrt 's lecture is hard to understand. She gives a lot of lectures beyond the textbook. She does not use power point, you have to take her notes. Although she said she was very organized in her first class, her notes(on board/print out) were very disorganized. There are total 6 writing assignments and a group debate.

No idea how this professor got a decent rating on here. I took her thinking people were just complaining but I'm a 3.8 student and her class was awful. Tests are way to difficult considering she does not mention them or help in any way shape or form in what will be on them. Nice lady, horrible professor.

i think professor Smrt needs a new teaching style. One in which students are able to learn rather than teach ourselves. I couldn't believe how difficult she made this class. The lectures have nothing to do with her tricky exams. So basically read each chapter each until you fully grasp the material and hope that what you learn is on the exam.

The class always had extremely low exam scores. Tends to take excessive amounts of points off unrelated aspects of the reflection paper. Her "instructions" to the reflection paper is actually in improper format. Therefore, you must write improper to her standards. As a result, her teaching style was ineffective to my learning process.

Professor Smrt is just not an good teacher. Her lectures were informative just NOT for her class. The lectures very loosely covered the actual exams. Since this was an online class, she allowed only 60 minutes for 38 to 48 questions, exams included 28 MC and the rest is short answer and essay. NOT ENOUGH TIME when in actual classroom setting.

let me start by her exams. her exams are so hard. I took her online, so during the exams you will not have time to do anything. good thing is that she doesn't give a lot of works. a discussion every other week, and a project at the end of the semester. Exams were insanely difficult, class average on the first one was a 59%. All the content blends together with multiple parts to each question and you're expected to memorize all of it. Simply do not take her, or be ready to study for weeks.

Impossible to reach outside of class. Slow grader (we just turned in a group project and an exam the week before finals, so I will have no idea what my grade looks like before the final exam). Grades us on discussions but doesn't read them, her grader does, and gives no feedback. Does not hand back our graded tests for us to review.

Many people can make the argument that if you receive a certain grade, its deserved. That argument for this class is invalid. Of our first three tests, ever average was below 65, and on the first two exams nobody got higher than a B-. When you look at it from a statistical view, the majority of the class will be getting Cs. All paying students

Class periods are just group activities that show self explanatory theories. Her tests are super tricky and will mainly focus on specifics not focused on in her PowerPoints. I am normally a great test taker, but her tests are focused to heavily on exact vocab rather than concepts as well as extra readings. Don't take her if it can be avoided.

She's absolutely terrible. Don't know how professors like her get to teach Masters level courses. Does not extend help, she's straight up terrible. I re-took this course with another difficult professor and got an A-! The course taken again was far more work and taught FAR BETTER! She caused major anxiety for me and loss of time/money. To give Dr. Smrt a little credit I really enjoyed her lectures & activities. However, exams and grading were a different story. The exams are extremely difficult, setting you up to fail. The avg. on the first 2 was between 50-60%, which is failing & she doesn't curve. When asked about this she is extremely condescending & rude. DON'T TAKE WITH HER!

Absolute worst Professor I have ever taken and is literally the worst person. She doesnt care about you or anyone, shes so cocky for no reason, she ignored the fact that a student in her class had covid and 8 other group members worked with them hand and hand and never once mentioned it to the class or brought it up. Diana literally changes the course information to her liking. Im confused how she can do this. She grades really hard and doesnt curve anything. I did bad on the test and studied hard and tried to get help from a tutor on campus but they couldnt help me because she changes the information taught. This lead to many stressful night. This Professor does not curve grades and does not round up your final score, even by 1 point. There are 4 exams which made up the majority of the grade, each of which had a 50-70% mean grade. Tests were very memorization heavy and did not always follow the study guide. The rest of the grade was for discussions and a group project, which was fine

Tough exams. No curves on exams. First exam average was 52% and she made it clear she will not be curving. OB354 was a lot harder than it should have been for such class. Would not recommend taking this professor whatsoever.

Unlike all these other reviews, I enjoyed her class. The largest issue was that her tests were very hard and she never curved them. The average was in the 50s and she still didnt care to curve. Other than that her class isnt that bad if you like taking it up the bum.

I've never met a professor that hates her students so much. She makes it her objective to fail you. My wife was giving birth to my first child on the same day as her class and I explained to her yet she put me as absent and I lost 3 points. She only smiles when you fail. Took BPS 451 over Summer 1 and it was a huge mistake. Must take during fall or winter. Inconsiderate towards students needs, and tough to cram that in an 8 week period. If you have her for BPS 451 over the Summer, I highly recommend you wait till the Fall.

Abysmal Unpleasant teacher, doesn't care if students to learn or pass. Her course is setup to trip the student and make it impossible to get an A. The highest grades on her Tests were 85% and average is 50%. The maximum number of points you can get is 385 points, losing 30 points drops you to an A-. Test content not from lecture, which is useless.
