Very long lectures, and a semester long project.
Ms. Huth was an interesting teacher to say the least. Her International Marketing class really gets you working on not only your group project, but online chapters and in-class presenters from different industries. The presenters were pretty interesting and helped the 2 hours and 45 minute class go by fast. There's quite a bit of work to do.
Diane had class break into groups this semester and create a marketing plan for a specific company (some were hand picked, some student were able to chose) to market out of the US. Hence the class is International. I enjoyed the challenge. She was available for help throughout entire semester. Definitely earned my grade in her class.
Ms. Huth is there for you, I really enjoy the class. Her work load was a bit challenging but if you stick with it, you'll make it!
I would not recommend this class for students working full time and taking full time classes.
A lot of information was shared in the class and a number of guest lecturers stopped in to provide real world examples of the information we learned throughout the course.
Very insightful course. She really prepares you for the real world. She gives lots of opportunity to succeed and only wants the best for every student. Wish I would of had more classes with her!
Gives you the real deal when it comes to marketing, not just what some book says
I enjoyed this class. Learned a lot but the professor gives a lot of work. She is honest and will go out of her way to provide the information needed.
Being in class is a must, the semester revolves around a big Final presentation.
This class is extremely time consuming due to the marketing project. Each week a speaker presentation and a piece of your marketing plan is due.

The class was long and requires lots of work. It is dreadful at times, however in the end you will learn about marketing.
Big group assignment at the end of the year that is worked on all semester up to the presentation.
She will put in the work to meet students at least half way, as long as they are putting in the work themselves. Don't procrastinate in her class! Unlike other instructors she does not focus only on lectures, she brings in her own insights and insightful individuals that can help prepare her students for the "real world" better than a textbook.
Professor H. is a very inspirational instructor with an extensive portfolio of business and entrepreneurial knowledge. She brings over 30 years of marketing experience as a successful business woman. Prepare to be immersed in a creative and highly engaging international marketing course. I loved every week of her class.

Do NOT take if you have a full time job! Gives a lot of extra credit assignments, but the has a large workload.

Professors will work with you and has no tests but a lot of consistent work for homework and projects. however, if you do the easy work you will get an A or B. EXCELLENT at real life scenarios in the work force, EXTREMELY helpful and crazy good connections for internships!!
She has lots of business people come and talk. They are all really good to hear from.
Lots of extra credit opportunities, always helpful. Not your run of mill straight from the book lecture. Lots of guest speakers, and several interesting" field trips". Be ready to work hard on the int. Mktg plan, but with the flexible deadlines and very helpful feedback everyone should be able to get Bs and As. I learned a lot.
It was a great class, overall. I learned a lot that I will be sure to use in my career.
She is on a 1000 point system and many of the assignments are worth only 10 points (you do the math). She does give lots of extra credit and accepts late work for full credit. Speaker presentations are interesting but group project can be tough if your team does not commit.
This class was by far the best i've taken to date. You will work for your grade, but the experience and knowledge you walk out with will greatly benefit you in your future career endeavors.
This teacher is awesome! This is a great class as well and nobody can teach it better than her.

Great professor, loved all the speakers. Class was never dull or boring. Professor Huth is very passionate and energetic about marketing. Her class was very informative.
She is very dynamic and her classes are very interesting because we always had a speaker. But she gave a lot of work to do for the group project.
Loads of homework. You will have a major group project that has lots of work with it.
The final project is a little intense, the semester should be spent more on what is expected on the end of semester project
I enjoyed the guest speakers and some of the assignments but the final project was very extensive and very redundant at times; there was not always clear instructions as to how each portion of the project should be done so my group had to re-do sections of the project multiple times.
This instructor is awesome, everything you wish you would learn in your 4 year business career but didnt, she will teach you in one semester.
Professor Huth is an enthusiastic professor and teaches you about marketing that you would not have normally been taught. Many speakers, which is entertaining and insightful. The final project is a nightmare, prepare to re-do it multiple times until it is up to her expectations.
Great Teacher, wish allot of classes was like hers. She will bring in real speakers from good company to tell you what its like in the real world and show you how to apply those skill in the marketing field. You will have a major group project so pick good people. Overall this is a great class to take, gives allot of chances for extra credit to.
She is awesome! She has tons of real world experience to share! You have to work for your grade but it is a great learning experience. Her speakers are amazing! Take her, do the work, you won't regret!
The guest speakers throughout the semester were very informative and gave good real world advice. The final group project at the end of the semester was a ton of work. Prepare to spend a lot of time doing the final project. Overall, the class was helpful in providing lessons about the real world of business and marketing.
Huth is a great instructor. She is very willing to help you and answer any concerns or inquiry. A major group project is involved with a final presentation given to a panel of judges that consist of business professionals. For the last major project she took the time out of he family trip to take a 6-hr Skype call to go over our final project..
She is a good teacher and really cares about your grade. But is terrible with class management. She brings in many people from the outside who can give you much information for the future. Prepare for your final project to take up much of your time towards the end of the semester. As long as you do the work for the class you will be fine.
Mrs. Huth is such an inspirational person, she is very knowledgeable on every aspect of Marketing. You will have to work for your grade but in the end it's all worth it and she gives you plenty of opportunities to perfect your work to get the highest grade possible.
Lots of information in little time.
Lot's of information, little time to explain and go over the material. She is helpful if you ask the right questions. Occasionally comes off a little rude but very helpful and she really knows her stuff.
She is very knowledgabel on marketing and has great speakers that present in class. Fun class and requires group work. You will be in a group the entire semester.

I am not a marketing major. I took International marketing and the class had very little to do with anything international except the semester project. Lectures went over basic marketing principles. Very few assignments. Discussion boards, weekly speaker eval, textbook and a group semester project. Assignments due at end of sem. Speakers are great!
She does a full on international marketing plan, which is cool but a huge amount of work. Do not take this class if you are taking more than 3 classes. Do the parts as she talks about them. She makes you redo sections and if you wait it will only get worse, having to redo entire sections a day before due. Create your own deadlines! Do not wait.
Diane did not go over any aspects of international marketing this semester. She showed off her sales-pitch-how-to-marketing powerpoint to the class describing the most basic marketing principles. Her lectures were not relevant at all to the semester project. The project was a lot of working in the dark because she never talks about what she expects

Prof. Diane Huth requires a lot for her class. You will be given a lot of assignments and project that are very overwhelming. She is practical which is great but also overloads you with lots of information and project.
Her class is interesting but be ready to work! She does not give tests but you do have a group project that you do all semester! If you come to class and stay on top of your work, you will pass the class.
Has lot's of information to provide you and often times 3 hours a night is not enough to cover it all. Deadlines are not important but you will get behind really quickly if you don't start early. The assignments are often all over the place and instructions at times are unclear but she will stop to explain it all to you. Overall a bit overwhelming.
Very nice lady, always welling to help. Be prepare to have lots of lots of homework and have group projects. overall ... i really enjoyed the class, especially the guess speakers, i would take an other class with her.

She knows that she teaches and has great speakers in class.
There's a speaker in every class and you have to submit an evaluation, so it's important to show up.
Diane Huth provides amazing lectures from herself and her former business affiliates. She respond to your emails swiftly and is proven to care for her students. the lectures are a bit long but they provide real world insight to business. Expect to do a lot of group work, communication is key with your partners and the instructor.

Professor Huth is really good at giving us the whole aspect of what marketing really consist of. She has tons of knowledge and gives you the tools you need to become a better individual when you are looking for employment. We had a group project that truly gives you the insight of how to build your own brand.
Professor Huth is wonderful. She is very knowledgable in her field and knows all the ins and outs of marketing. There is a lot of work, as long as you manage your time well you will see it is not very difficult. The whole semester is built on making a marketing plan, but she helps a lot with it. She brings in great guest speakers as well.
Professor Huth brings the real world of marketing to the classroom. She brings guest speakers every week to class and they tell us about the real world and it's pretty cool. There's a semester long project that will challenge any student, however she will walk you through it and teach you. She wants to prepare her students for the real world.

Diane is a excellent professor. Her classes are interesting and very informative. If you are interesting in gaining more knowledge about marketing in the real business world, I will definitely recommend to take her class. You will learn the necessary skills to build a marketing plan.
This review is for International Marketing. I very much enjoyed taking this course. I enjoyed the many guest speakers we had that allowed us to learn from their decades of experience. I also enjoyed Ms. Huth's take on delivering material. There is a lot of work but, I've been able to manage should anyone. Just stay on top of it and chip away at it
Overall, great class!
Good class very easy have a team presentation to do. Many extra credit opportunities. Shes very understanding that students have lives outside of class so is very flexible with assignments. An easy pass.
Diane is incredibly well respected in academia- and for good reason, too. Her extensive experience in the marketing field means her priceless knowledge will be at your disposal for the entirety of the class. While very workload heavy, this class proves to be incredibly helpful in not only a school setting, but in application as well.
This review is for International Marketing. There are many extra credit opportunities during the semester. Enjoyed the speaker presentations. The workload is intense, but you have the beginning of the semester to finish assignments ahead of time.

International Marketing review. This class has a lot to offer, you will learn a lot of marketing tips from the presenters you have each class time. This class does require a lot of work so be ready for that. Make sure you pick a group that is responsible because you cant have anyone slaking. The professor goes through a lot of international marketing material and concepts. There is an extensive group projects that require you to actively work on it throughout the entire semester. There are various extra credit opportunities and the grade is evenly spread out across most assignments.
She makes you work for your grade. If you stay on top all of your assignments, you will do just fine. Make sure you finish your book assignments in the beginning for extra credit! You will thank yourself later!
Lots of assignments in the semester group project. Tough scheduling. Semester schedule was off and not followed/accurate.
She talks a lot and when your presenting she will interrupt you while your speaking just to tell you to be louder. The work for this class is a lot if you wait until the last minute. You do get a lot of extra credit opportunities.
Professor Huth cares very much about her students and success of students. There is a group project that requires a lot of work and knowledge from in class lectures. There is a special guest every class that gives insight on their career and things they do and accomplish in the business field. You definitely must work for your grade in this class.
The in class lectures are really nothing about Intl Marketing. The group project is extensive and if one team member is behind, you are also. Speaker every class, brings great insight to marketing careers but don't talk about international marketing either. Overall, A LOT of work but she tells you how to fix your assignments so easy A if you fix.
Be prepared to do a lot of work! I was warned at the start of class but when trying to balance five classes this one was by far the most demanding. Group project that was extremely in depth so be prepared. Although, professor is helpful and always responds to communication quickly.
Professor Huth is very knowlegable about marketing has a lot of experience in the field. But her course wasn't organized at all, rushed lectures, and the entire semester is spent working on 1 group project, with ALOT of weekly assignments due. Offers help as needed , but isn't very clear on expectations. The guest speakers and no exams are a plus.
She loves Marketing and she wants students to understand the concept of a real work project. She explains step by step. Don't procrastinate because it is a lot of work. Speakers are great and full of knowledge and always willing to help students.
THE BEST CLASS YOU WILL TAKE!!!
Diane Huth is very knowledgeable but I felt uncomfortable in her class because she was always promoting her book and even offered extra credit if you attended her book launch dinner that cost $25. I just didn't think it was professional to ask us to do that. She has great speakers come in and the class is an easy A. She also helps with your resume.
