Great Teacher! Really makes this class alot of fun while learning. I would recomend this professor to everyone. By far my favorite!

Diane is a very interesting teacher. She has lots of information and practical experience. There was a few assignments that overlapped which made it difficult at times. I thought she was actually too easy on those students who did not follow directions for assignments. I would take a class with this professor again.

She was a pretty good teacher online, but I feel she would have been better in person. Very understanding in terms of late work as well. I don't really care for her tests because they can throw you off, but I would definitely recommend her to others.

I highly recommend Mrs Sacra for anyone even remotely interested in marketing. She is an EXCELLENT instructor, very helpful, very understanding and most of all very fair. She answers emails promptly, she replies to assignments with helpful advice, she offers extra credit. After being out of school for nearly 10 years I still managed to get an A-.

Diane was GREAT! This is my first semester back in many many years, and she truly made the experience enjoyable. I took with me vast amounts of current and usable information, that I can and will use in the workplace. I recommend her to any student.

Mrs. Sacra is the BEST!!! i absolutly loved having her as a professor..seriously one of the best i've had at macomb so far. I have a huge fear of public speaking and she made it as easy as possible for me, made me feel very comfortable and i appreciate that more then she will ever know!! She was very clear in what needed to get accomplished in class. I'm not a writer at all and somehow managed to get an A on the dreadful 20pg research report, I even dropped this class 3 times before taking this one. Definatly recommend her to anyone! Content and methods used to convey information were clear and easily understood. Expectations were very clear. The professor made the class fun and informative and I would take her for another class anytime!!!

Here presentations are clear. She makes Communications fun and the smaller speeches help you get used to public speaking for your research paper. The paper is actually not that bad, as long as you stick to her time line and do a little each week. MAKE SURE YOU PROPERLY CITE, or you will not pass the class.

Great teacher, one of the few I have had at Macomb that I really liked. She is easy but still challenging in good way. If you do what she sayes you will do good in her class

Very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are not good at public speaking, you will leave this class with improved skills even if you did not plan on it. The research paper is a large part of the grade but she is very helpful so that you complete it successfully.

Mrs. Sacra was a wonderful teacher. Had her for BCOM 2050, on Saturday mornings from 8-12! UGH! What a time for class... she kept it fun and upbeat, made things interesting, and really helped with public speaking. Great teacher-I wish all were like her! Great teacher. I was dreading taking BCOM and I saved it for almost last, but she made the class more than tolerable (especially on a Saturday morning). Probably the best teacher I have had in my years at MCC. I got more out of this class than most. I'm actually going to miss seeing her, never said that before! I'd give extra chili peppers too! ;)

She is a great teacher, funny, and very beautiful. She makes it easy to understand the subject. God bless her. I would definitely recommend her.

Diane was one of the best teachers I have had. She has a genuine interest in how her students learn. Even at 8am on a Saturday morning, she keeps things interesting and fun at the same time. She gives you every opportunity to succeed, all you have to do is try. She not only engages the class, she gets the class to engage each other. Great!

She was really good at teaching the class last winter time in the business comuntication class. I hope I get her again in the future. My best part of the class is that she told us about are big project up front.

Teacher has a great sense of humor which makes for an enjoyable learning atmosphere. This was an online class so there was alot of material and marketing concepts to learn in 8 weeks. The teacher is firm but fair in every aspect. Will help when asked, very responsive and understanding. This teacher is no pushover, you WILL learn marketing here.

Good teacher lots of time to do the big papper you have to do. I strugled with it becuase I just did not get it. Not due to her fualt. Was helpfull in getting it done and turned in on time. Good teacher

Good class,can tell she genuinely cares about students. Keeps lectures lively, although at certain times allowed other students to become a bit too obnoxious in class,which can get irritating after a while. Gives lots of time for assignments & very helpful. One of the better teachers at Macomb.

I really enjoyed the lectures, the assignments are challenging but she is encouraging and very helpful. I felt the class had true value towards my degree.

Very enthusiastic and fun teacher! I'm glad this is the first class I picked to come back to after a prolonged absence from college. Each student felt welcomed and important in her class! She was very helpful and more than willing to go above and beyond the call of duty! Class act!! Can't say enough about her and her teaching skills!

Prof. Sacra provided a more challenging course than was expected. She guided the class into the expectations of the modern office. She helped students understand and improve. This is the first business class I've had where the professor had a very hands on active hand in guiding students into actually improving the skills taught.

Great teacher. Gives you a lot of time and help for your big assignment and stresses it a lot but if you do exactly what she asks of you and it really isn't that hard to just follow her directions because she makes things clear for you to understand and you get the grade you deserve. Overall great learning experience and a great teacher to have.

Walsh College Professor, great communication and you must be motivated to learn.

I was not looking forward to this class, but she made a boring subject (Business Communication) at least interesting. She is not an easy instructor, but she is fair and provides plenty of valuable feedback on assignments. I really enjoyed being in her class, and wish I could have had her for some others. Definitely would recommend Diane to anyone.

I would recommend her as a great teacher. Bus Comm can be boring if not taught in an interesting way. Would take her again if it was possible. Has great intereactions with students and is always available to answer questions during or after class. Great teacher!!

Diane is by far the best professor I've had at MCC center campus. She is energetic and very knowledgeable in the field of BCOM. She managed to fit an incredible amount of work into an accelerated 8 week timeframe. She's clear about what's expected and entertaining in her diverse delivery tactics of rather dry material. :)

She was a pleasure to have and I would highly recommender others to take her class. Her class was interesting and she did a nice job of incorporating other elements into her lectures such as movies and YouTube videos. Overall, a great professor.

She was a great resource for management skills. Some of the concepts she discussed were from her own experience as a manager and she gave great perspective. She was very interactive and excited about the lectures. I liked how she used a variety of methods to teach too. We watched videos and had group activities. I would recommend her to anyone.

Great teacher. Had her in a 8 week summer class, she fit a lot of information in a short period of time, but did a great job. Loves what she does, and it shows. I would definitely recommend her to anyone having to take BCOM 2050. You have to work to get a good grade, but it's possible!

Loved this teacher, she knows her stuff. Be prepared for a group project, pick a good group to work with... exams are not bad, read the book. You do need to actually do research on your case study assignments and source your work. She has a sign-in sheet, so you do need to attend class.I really enjoyed this class, very down to earth.

This instructor draws from her vast experience in the business world. She adds extra audiovisual materials to each class to make almost every topic interesting. Very fair grader. Her expectations are clear. I want to take the marketing class from her since that subject is her passion.

The class was easy. The hardest part was the case studies, but she is very easy on grading. The tests were all open book but only for a certain time span. The lectures are long and she use's a lot of her real life situations while teach to try and keep you awake. I would recommend her.

Great professor, she has a great grasp of the business world and brings her experience to the classroom. I learned a lot in her class but you need to stay focused to do well. I would recommend this professor. She is also a really nice person! She is very helpful and willing to work towards a successful outcome for both parties.

I took this class in a short summer session. We had a quiz basically every week and a half and case study's due every other week. There is also a group project that has to be done that is due by the end of the semester so make sure you get placed in a good group. Exam's are not difficult and Professor Sacra allows open books and notes.

Favorite professor at MCC! BCOM and passed with a 4.0! she loves to have fun and make everyone feel SUPER comfortable. 3 exams that were 25-50 questions each but she allows you to use a cheat sheet the last 20 min of the test. You have a group project that she gives you alot of time to do and a huge 15 page paper but gives almost 2 months to do

She is super nice but she piles on big assignments all at once. We had 3 big assignments to do at the same time and it wasnt easy. Also she is almost 15 minutes late to every class but thats not a bad thing.... so nice and caring and very understanding. Makes class interesting and gives breaks as well.

She is a real gem. I've recommended her to every person who's mentioned that they need to take BCOM2050. I am terrified of public speaking and she was incredibly helpful in getting me out of my shell. By the end of the semester I was able to deliver my presentation note free. I learned a great deal of real world knowledge from her. She's funny too!

She does pile on a few big assignments close together, however, they aren't as difficult as you would imagine. She's incredibly helpful. If you need any assistance at all, she will stay and give you all the help you could possibly need. Tip: always attend class, print assignments BEFORE class (she is not a fan of slackers), ask for feedback!

Phenomenal teacher for what I would consider to be an essential class. There is an emphasis on developing proper research skills for report writing and delivering oral presentations. Great coach. Funny. Tests questions aren't hard, you read the chapter you should do good. 1 month for group, 2 months for final more than enough. Don't procrastinate.

This teacher is the best in mcc does not pile assignments i just took summer class all my assignments where on time she let you use notes for the test there is a few presentations not a big deal people got inspire to break the ice and do great on presentations she is a real gem, also she does answers the emails and cares about her students

She cares about her students and the work they produce and is very helpful if you need to better understand the material. Most MCC online classes are often a lot of work, but for a 4 credit class this one was pretty light actually. The group project online was difficult to coordinate and having to find 6 people for the last project was slightly annoying. Huge research report due last week- do not save till the end. Overall not a picky grader-another huge plus

Ms. Sacra was energetic, funny, and related the book to real life experience. She was understanding that students have obligations outside homework. She lectured, showed videos, and had individual as well as group projects. I highly recommend this instructor! She found a way to relate to each person in class, no matter their age.

Ms. Sacra makes this class enjoyable and cares about each student. There are a few big projects that are given, but she makes sure to explain each assignment in depth and offers you to come to her for help. I recommend this teacher to all students. She is FUN!

Sacra let's you use study guides on all 4 exams, the final is not cumulative, theres one research paper that is definitely a project, but totally doable, One group project, and then the intro presentation. Overall, the class was not difficult at all. She gave us a code for the online book at the beginning of class, so you dont need the book.

Long class but she is keeps your interested. Had a virtually class and besides the public speaking the class was easy and she is there outside of class if you need her.

This class was not difficult as long as you paid attention, and kept yourself on track. This class makes you present. (one video recorded, one live on zoom, and the last is presenting with a group on zoom) A couple other easy homework assignments, and an analytical business report, and (4) exams. I hate presenting, and it wasn't that bad. Take her!

Amazing professor! so understanding with questions and concerns, a little laid back and makes lectures interesting! ( I had her during a remote online class ) she was very helpful and the class was fairly easy as long as you follow along or do the study reviews. Good luck! I wish she taught all the courses I needed.

Great professor! I took this class remotely. Professor Sacra is caring and is extremely knowledgeable and is well-organized. Beware that she can be a tough grader at times, so make sure to write assignments citing sources throughout (not just at the end) and you will succeed. If your program requires Management 1010, take these classes together.

Professor Sacra made expectations clear and graded accordingly. I enjoyed her lectures and explaining practical applications of material. If you put in the effort you will not have an issue passing her class. I would definitely like to have her as a professor again.

I'm a student in Professor Sacra's class this semester. She's awesome. Very funny (not snarky, whatever that illiterate a-hole below me is saying. Ha!). A lot of material to cover but she keeps you interested and uses real-life examples. There's a big paper but she helps you on it. She clearly cares about her students. One of my all-time favs!

The textbook is online and free! There is a discussion every week, and you have to respond to 3 classmates on each. There's a group project towards the end of the course, but it's simple. A bit harsh with grading, but it's not so bad. About 2-3 assignments a week, 3 exams total. But warning, you'll be recording yourself making speeches every week.

Professor Sacra is the best! I've had a blast in her class and made a lot of friends but I think it's partly because she runs a casual and fun class. You get to know each other. She's very funny and gives really good feedback. There are quite a few assignments but she helps you with them and gives you samples and goes over stuff pretty clear.

She genuinely cares about her students and their success and is very helpful if you have any questions.

Sacra has been such a wonderful professor this semester. She's a fair grader, and she takes time to make sure you understand the concepts and rubrics for the work she assigns. While I only took this class because it was required, she made it fun, and I genuinely would take it again. Any bad rates on here are from students who refused to do the work

Professor Sacra is great. She was really helpful with explaining assignments and gives you a lot of handouts for the big course project. There are a lot of assignments but she helps you with them and gives you time to do them. She would stay after class to help, too. You can tell she likes teaching. Lectures are good and she's pretty funny.

Professor Sacra makes this class fun and engaging. While there's a lot of material, she provides helpful guidance and real-world examples. Using Unstuck study alongside the course materials has been a game-changer for study prep.

Great professor overall! Each week was the same 2-3 reading assignments, an activity on said readings, a 30 question quiz, and a case study every other week. The reading assignments take 1-2 hours each, but she is required to assign them to us. She never replied to any of my emails. Thankfully, they weren't pressing matters.

Professor Sacra is very caring and wants to see all her students succeed. Within the first week, I reached out to her as I am new to college, and she took the time to schedule an in-person meeting with me to help set me up for success in her Busn1010 class—and it worked!
