Never had a stats class before her. Although she was very pregnant at the time, as long as you came to class and took notes, you can do well. Very little studying needed, allowed you to use a page of notes for test. Funny, always was responsive.

She was a very nice lady! I think she would rather just chat with us all class then actually teach. She knows her stuff! Make a good cheat sheet(she lets you use) for the test and you'll be just fine.

She is a very cool teacher. She lets you have a sheet of notes for each exam. The only thing is, we bout a $75 book, and I never opened it!

Clear, easy-to-follow notes. Great examples, easy in-class homework grades. Very friendly and laid back. Cheat sheets on tests are a major plus. Proves that you don't have to be tortured with challenging tests to learn effectively.

Loved Salinas. Very easy going, down to Earth. Cheat sheets up the wazoo! Can't make stats much easier. WOuld take again in a new york minute!

she was a sub for my stats 215 class and she was very easy. the test that she made for us was very easy and i only got one wrong on it. she is a really great prof.

I wish she taught more classes! One of my favorite profs, got me hooked on stats. Very helpful and easy to understand. Wants students to do well, take her if at all possible.

i couldn't ask for a better math prof. she is hilarious and easy going. notes are very clear and helpful. lots of helpful handouts. tests can be tough but you get to use a cheat sheet. don't bother buying the book though, barely ever used it...just for back of the book charts.

This is definitely a hard class. Professor Salinas is a really good prof though. She didn't give very many examples though...We went through the material way too fast....by the time the test came-we didn't even remember half the stuff that was on it!

More "english" words on notes than in a creative writing class...cheat sheets are helpful, but sometimes, she can be a little rude. take it or leave it ( leave it)

She was the best Prof I have had at GVSU. Makes class interesting by taking little breaks here and there to talk about things other than Stats. She is willing to help in any way that she can and has a genuine interest in students learning. Definately get this Prof if you can!

Funny lady, easy class. I felt like i was in high school. Just make good study guides for the test and ur good to go.

She is nice and explains very well. Class is easy as long as you do all assignments, and make good cheat sheets. She is willing to help and grades multiple answer questions by carrying your wrong answers through the problem so you don't lose as many points. I hope you like worksheets/handouts!

Great prof. I didn't study at all, just used my notes for all of the homework and tests, and got a B+, and I'm terrible with this stuff. Plenty of extra credit too.

If you have to take stats take Diane. She is great! Keeps class fun even though its stats. I was dreading this class but really it wasn't to bad. She is funny and loves to joke around. Very helpful too, I tell eveyone I know that has to take stats to take her, she's great!

It was a really easy class but I learned alot at the same time. She's always willing to help students and will go over topics until everyone understands them. She's super nice and you can tell she really enjoys teaching- highly recommended!

prof. salinas made this class a breeze for me. as long as you make good cheat sheets for the tests, you'll be fine.

You get to bring "cheat sheets" to all 4 exams. Since you have to take statistics, you might as well take it from somebody fun.

Prof. Salinas is really awesome. She makes class fun, and although the notes tend to get a little tedious, she brings in real life examples that make the material easy to understand. On top of that, she tries to get to know her students, so it makes approaching her with questions a LOT easier!
