really good teacher, explains everything really well and goes over the material a couple times to make sure everyone understands it. Gives lots of extra credit but I still recommend going to class since she does such a good job of reviewing the material

I LOVE HER!!! 207 is a hard class no matter who you take but she is the sweetest woman and really wants you to do well. Definitely take her if you can I havent heard any complaints.

Wright is the BEST!! She gives sooooo much Extra Credit and Bonus points. She has 2 review sessions before each exam, and is always willing to help you out. Easy quizzes maybe once a week. Go to class, read the chapters and take notes you will be fine!

Wright is one of the best teachers I've had here at Delaware. She makes all of the information understandable, and gives plenty of opportunities to succeed. Drops lowest quiz grades, and goes over them before you take them. Exams aren't difficult as long as you read the chapters and attend class. DEFINITELY TAKE HER! Loves hand sanitizer haha

diane is very helpful prior to the first test but then rushes through all the remaining material. she gives lots of busy work which helps. tests are easier than other teachers'

Wright is awesome. She hold review sessions before every test and you can tell she really wants everyone to succeed. The tests CAN be tricky, if you're not prepared. Do the online homework, look over the handouts (she gives about one per chapter with important info and example problems) and you will do FINE. Semi-annoying voice, but good teacher.

This class is kind of tough, but Diane does everything she can to help. She is always more than willing to help at her office hours, offers plenty of EC and is that rare teacher that actually answers emails in a reasonable amount of time. Go to class and buy the book, but I definitely recommend taking Wright.

Wright is great at explaining the course material and is able to connect with her students. She wasn't upset or defensive when I told her I had no interest in accounting and was only taking it for the requirement. She listened to me and helped me understand accounting so that I could earn a good grade. I still chat with her and get advice :)

Professor Wright is a good misy teacher. She is not amazing at explaining the material but is very helpful and very reasonable if you talk to her. Offers extra credits and the quizzes are easy and tests are all open book/note.

Professor Wright is a great intro teacher. She helps you as much you need. Lots of assignments but they help your grade because they're easy. Very hard not to get at least a B if you get a B shes concerned and will help you get an A. MISY isn't that easy but she makes it alright.

Diane did a great job with this course. She explained the material well. She expects students to do their homework but if you do you should do fine in the class. She'll explain things well and will try to make sure you know the stuff. Good teacher, would recommend.

Diane was a great teacher. Diane is a great teacher, she really helped me in understanding a lot of the material in class from access and excel. The online sakai quizzes and emerge textbook exams aren't too fun, but Professor Wright goes out of her way to make sure everyone understands the material that she goes through in class.

Why does Diane not have higher ratings!? She is frazzled and unorganized, but this class was super easy. Took it honors and it was exactly the same as her regular sections. She can be hard to get in touch with, but she makes up for it by being extremely kind and helpful. Exams and quizzes are exactly what you practice in class. TAKE DIANE'S CLASS!

He was a great professor. Lectures a either super motivational or sometimes dull. Overall really liked the class and the professor. I would recommend him for any class.

Okay teacher, but great person. She really wants her students to do well. She is not the best in the classroom, you really have to teach yourself most of the material, but if you are willing to make the trip to her office hours, she really is good one on one and will even give you points back on exams. Not a hard class, the final is really easy.

Diane is amazing. Seriously the best professor to have on your side. Took her for 160, and pretty much was my guardian angel as I switched into the MISY major from IS. She will do anything to help you out. She cares so much about her students and is such a great person. Class is easy, just do the work and study a bit before the exams. BE HER ALLY!!

Diane is a nice woman, really passionate. Go to class, do the handson for extra credit, do the myIT labs (unlimited tries), and do the other extra credit assignments. In class quizzes are impossible, tests are super easy. FRIDAY CLASSES ARE CANCELLED. Easy A . Go review tests if you don't get a 100, they will give you back points.

Dianne is my girl. I literally did nothing this whole semester and have done well on every test, most quizzes and have a good grade in this class. Take MISY 160 with her. You're gonna learn a lot without doing much because her lectures are informative.

Just study the comprehensive examples given the week of the test and you'll do well. On Fridays that we did not have an exam we didn't have to go to class. Good bit of busy work but all MISY students have to do it. Nice lady. GO TO OFFICE HOURS AFTER RECEIVED TEST GRADE... she gives you more points back because the TA's take off too many points

I took her MISY160 and it was an easy course. I also have her as my adviser, she is amazing! A couple of times she replies your emails just in minutes even at 10 p.m. She is always there for you!

TAKE THIS TEACHER! very very easy class, she holds your hand through it. Exams are extremely easy and given so much practice before each of them. Also, if you don't do as well as you wanted you can go to her office hours and she will give you points back! A lot of homework, but not hard to do. Easy A

Diane Wright is perhaps the best teacher I have ever had. She made a somewhat dull class turn into a very enjoyable experience to me. MISY160 is a very homework-heavy class, but all of it is good practice for the quizzes and tests in the class. Do all of the homeworks, ask her for help when needed, and the class should be an easy A.

Very easy class, a lot of homework that's not hard, just annoying. Everything is just practice for the exams which are open nice. She is a bit disorganized but not in a way it ever affected me in class. Easy to keep grades high because most assignments are graded on completion.

I really enjoyed this class. The material is interesting and Professor Wright does an incredible job teaching it. She's always available outside of class and offers extra credit on the exam. There's a lot of HW but it's easy 100s and they boost your grade. There's no final which is awesome. I would definitely take this class with her!

This class was easy. There's a lot of busy work, but nothing that takes to long. It's all to reinforce your understanding of the material. Its all very interesting, and useful to know. Most friday's class is canceled, unless theres a test. Just a side of caution, a lot of exams fall on the last three fridays of school, which sucked, but it was easy

You don't have to go to class unless theres a test or quiz. Lots of work, but it will help you learn the material. The glassworks are just like the tests and quizzes. the connect quizzes are honestly impossible, but try your best. she will drop some in the end.

Connect quizzes are super annoying but she drops some and gives extra credit. Pretty easy class as long as you keep up with all the projects.

I took the online MISY160 and would highly recommend! She doesn't grade harshly and gives good feedback. If you don't do well on exams (which usually aren't bad) there's opportunities for extracredit and all the assignments will boost your grade too. If you take time to do the assigned work correctly and read you'll be fine.

Professor Wright is a good teacher overall. She cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed. Classes are basically her just going over and showing you how to do different things in Excel and Access. There is a lot of work in the class, some seem like busy work, however, it all helps you to grasp the concepts. Gives extra credit.

Diane Wright is one of the best professors i've had so far. The class is extremely easy if you go to class and pay attention (which you have to do because you use the computers UD provides). If you need to take MISY160 do not take with any other professor. Got an A on every test because she gives practice exams that are identical to the real exams.

As long as you do all the assignments you should get an A. She provides LOTS of opportunities for extra help and will extend deadlines if you just ask. It's sometimes a lot of assignments a week but if you stay on top of everything and go to class its all easy.

If you have to take MISY160 take it with Wright. She always tries to help out her students and if you go to her office hours for help, she'll usually extend the deadline for you. MISY160 Fall 2020. Posted the live zoom recordings, you did not need to come to class as long as you submitted the classwork on time (due the day after class). Hmwrk due Fridays. She held office hours every day we didn't have class. I didn't need to study for exams bc the class/homework was enough to learn the material. Easy A, really nice lady!

Super straightforward course, only four exams and some homework. My friends took her class that was combined with accounting and hated it, but I never had a problem with her personally. Then again, I took her class asynchronously and never really interacted with her so... But overall I'd still recommend her asynchronous course

Straightforward class, TA and professor was always available for extra help. Organized schedule and some assignments had a video to follow. Many extra credit opportunities and some projects had multiple attempts. Had to use proctorU but other than that everything else was good.

Prof. Wright is amazing she truly cares about her students. She provides a lot of extra credit that helps the grade a lot. We had four tests and they were through proctor u. We had a lot of assignments but they were pretty straightforward. She held office hours four days a week to help with the assignments. Also, she had a practice test for ec.

Classwork is very tedious, but Professor and TA are always available for extra help. Definitely attend extra help hours as it's easy to fall behind in the class.

Definitely pay attention to each step she does during her lectures. If you miss one step, the rest of the lecture is useless to you (maybe the person next to you can help). The second part of in class work become homework, which helps your grade. The practice tests are very similar to the actual tests, so if you know how to do that then you're set.

MISY160 isn't the most exciting class, however Professor Wright makes it extremely easy to succeed. As long as you following along with her during the In-Class assignments, you will get good grades on nearly everything. Almost never had to go to class on Friday even though we were scheduled to have class. Definitely a great professor.

This class is a good introduction to Microsoft Access and Excel. Professor Wright does a great job teaching and is always accessible outside of class. She is always willing to help students and provides a lot of extra credit opportunities. If you practice the study materials before exams, you will do well in this class.

The class was a fairly simple introduction to Excel and Access. As long as you follow the instructions you should do fine.

Lectures are extremely easy to follow as long as you pay attention. Each lecture is broken up into demonstration and "on your own" sections, most Friday sessions are devoted to "open help," and the 3 exams replicate exactly what was taught in class. She provides endless opportunities for help and teaches the class at an appropiate pace.

Needed to take MISY160 for major requirement, Diane made it very easy to learn the material and the course load is not bad at all. Just remember to do the projects (once a month and they're quick) and go to her optional class on Friday and ask questions if you are confused. Would take again

Overall this class is pretty easy as long as you attend. The tests are just like in class assignments and practice tests. Professor is not the most engaging but still nice and flexible. Would definitely recommend.

This was honestly a great course. Diane runs this course to perfection, and I'm glad her RMP rating reflects that. Course is made up of 3 exams, in-class work, and some homework. Although attendance is not mandatory, you will quickly find out that if you don't go, you will be lost. So please go to class. I would highly recommend Diane for MISY160.

Shes a great professor and if you go to student hours she or the TA will be available to help you with the hw. If you study for about an hour before each test should be an easy A or A-.

Anyone who says Diane Wright is a bad teacher just didn't put any effort into her class. Lectures are very easy to follow and she gives you time in class to finish the homework. Exams are not overly hard if you study for an hour or two. Friday classes are also not mandatory which is a huge bonus.

Does not give clear instructions sometimes. Go to class and it is not hard. You need to study for exams but not for a long time; if you do you will do well. Follow along and you will be fine. She isn't the nicest but her class isn't bad. If you put in decent effort you will get a good grade.

Take her online MISY160 course, she was great to learn this off of. Edward Hartono was awful, but she made it super clear. There are lots of homework assignments for the month-long course of 4 modules, but it is well worth it because she did a good job setting up this course. 10/10 take her if you need this course credit if you get the opportunity

Lectures are mostly following directions and easy if you are paying attention, but a lot of them require you finish the assignment and submit after class. I love this woman, sooo much extra credit and the class is really easy. attendance is only worth like 3-4%. i will say the excel tests are big chunk of your grade, but again, its not too difficult. shes also very understanding and lenient
