I loved Adamson...she was one of the best teachers Ive had! She is very helpful and is a very easy grader...I even got an A in her class...i highly recommand her class!

She's a little crazy and funny at the same time. SHe gives you alot of help. Do her assigned readings and prove your thesis' in your essays than your good to go. She's really approachable, so your not scared to get your eyes spooned out if you ask a question.

I personally hate english, but as far as professor Adamson goes, she will make the class as interesting as possible. She was one of the best english teachers I have ever had.

I actually took her Eng 101 class in Pasadena City College last summer. She was by far the easiest English professor I ever had. I am always a B English student, but I got an A from her English class. Her lecture was so fun and you won't fall asleep. Take her, very fun and easy.

Intimidating at first, but do not be alarmed because she is a great teacher. I was seriously going to drop and I'm glad I didn't. A good amount of essay for a 2nd year English University level course and eases down on you by the end of the semester with a good novel to read for the final. Overall, she is a good teacher and I learned a lot from her.

She is really clear on what she wants. Do the reading, and dont be afraid to ask her questions she is very helpful. A fun teacher and never boring. You will learn a lot from this woman. She makes the class feel comfortable and easy to pass.

Take her. I have to admit though...that you really do have to WORK. But this is college; you cannot expect to just ease right through. She is very fun and eccentric (in a good way). I think that is exactly what this school needs. Just do your work and she will notice your efforts and talents. Work hard and you a guaranteed a good grade. I got an A!

Intiimidating at first, her class is easy towards the end. In the end, all you do is read a book, discuss it in class, and answer 1 question. Hard grader on the research paper, but just do the readings and participate in the debates & she'll be easy.

Adamson is a great teacher. She always is clear on what she wants on each essay. Ask her to read the paper before turning in, her feedback helps. Nice lady, easy to approach, and you never get board in the class. Don't think twice if you have the oppertunity to take her. (Spring 05)

wow, she was the best teacher. Her teaching is very clear and you know what she expects from you. She basically teaches you everything you need to know on how to write an essay. Her grading is reasonable and there are no surprises (if there are, they're good ones). Take her class, you won't regret it.

Mrs. Adamson was an awesome teacher! She was really intimidating at first but she's a coolio. Her class was fairly easy just a lot of readings of course but overall, it was good.

She will definitely make you a better writer, so if you're up for it (its not that hard, i got an A), work hard, read the books (start early, she goes through them FAST), write well and review your papers and study for tests. She's really helpful and wants you to learn something and be a better writer. Highly recommended!

She is a great teacher. She expects some work out of you, but is relatively easy. She always there to help and answers emails in an instant.

She is a great teacher. @the beginning,she might scare u. The only thing that you have 2 do is the assignment that will help you to get a "A". If u wern' able 2 turn the assignment on the day that is due,you still have a chance.For example, if there is a paper due on wed, you can turn in on thu or fri morning. extra credit points......

She is a very funny and entertaining teacher. I would say she is easy only if your writing skills is above average. She is strict on MLA format. As long you follow the MLA format and you have someone proof read your papers you will do fine. Must try very hard for an "A". You will learn a lot from her.

She is not that easy..you have to work hard to get an A. but she is fair and give a lot of extra credits. she is a very good teacher, if you are not lazy take this class with her. she'll teach you how to write and she is fair in grading.

The easiest english 101 teacher I have ever seen before. She is very helpful. she can give students a lot of hints on their essays, including research papers. If you follow MLA format, turn in homework on time and show her your efforts for the class, you can get an A easily. Also, she is so patient to ESL students.

She was a really cool teacher. She's whacky and loony and is a bunch of fun. The only problem I have with her is that no matter how hard or how little I tried on my essays I always got a B. Overall, she's a good teacher.

she's a good professor. but she expects alot!!! lots of homework and we only meet MWF there was a week where she had made us turn in 3 essays ! and she expects u to think differently strecth out topic and she does not want to read essay that she knows about.."think out of the box". also u had to do surveys and interviews for our 8 pages essay.

She is very hard because she assigns no essays for the 1st half of the semester, but assigns all essays the 2nd half of the semester. She is very nice and helpful.

Possibly one of the most enjoyable teachers ever. One of the rare classes that I did not fall asleep in because she's a teacher that's both respectable and fun. I took her for a summer course and ended up with an 'A.' As long as you get your work done and have basic English skills, you'll do well in her class. She's lenient with tardies. Take her!

Professor Adamson is probably the greatest instructor to take at GCC! She has an amazing skills and is always willing to help you with anything, She's very approachable but tries to weed out the weak the first few weeks. Stick with it, her class is a keeper! Very clear as to what she expects and you just need to follow through with them.

She is a very easy teacher. Most of her essay is a take home essay. Except the essay from the book that you read will be in class essay. But don't worry. If you just write something that related to the topic that she is given, you will pass. If you have your essay, it is a garuntee that you will atleast get a C.

I really enjoyed this professor's class. She is funny, sarcastic and will be completly honest if your work sucks. She is an incredibly hard grader though. My advice is to bring in your essay early and have her go over it with you. If you follow her suggestions it is a guarenteed A. She also picks interesting novels.

Participation in class is a must. Essay topics aren't too difficult. She wants to hear your voice so speak up. Gives extra credit. If you're a decent writer you should be able to do well in the class.

I love her class a lot. When I took her class, assignments were nice and reasonable graded. I loved her essay-group project; she would assign you to do an essay in a group. Also, her strict structure is not that hard to understand, so if you have a question or do not know what to do, ask her to get the answer. She values your effort as well.

I do not understand why Mrs. Adamson has any bad remarks at all. If you're a college student, then expect to do some brain work people. I learned so much from her, and even though I was a bit lazy during the semester, I truly appreciate everything that I have learned in her class now that it is over. Wonderful teacher. Great teacher. Not an easy A but definitely an easy B, I recommend taking her in the summer I heard its easier. I got an A but others in my class did bad because they were taking other classes at the same time so make sure you don't take another hard class along with this one. She even says so.

I did learn a lot in Adamson's class, it just took me essay after essay to figure out what I was doing incorrectly. If you're not a strong writer and are looking for an easy A, I would recommend someone else, but if you actually want to become a better writer, she is a very good teacher to have.

Most of the time, extra credit doesn't help you raise up your grade so spend your time on the regular assignments as if there's no extra credit at all. None of the assignments was hard but also, none of them was easy. However, if you go up to her to make something clear, she'll help you all the time. Easy B, but you have to work hard to het an A.

Yes she is very sarcastic, but that doesn't take away from the fact that she cares about her students. An important note is to come to class on time. If you don't have a good sense of humor do not take the class.

Professor Adamson will definitely keep you awake through out the whole class due to her great taste in books she chooses for the class, and the great material she chooses to talk write about. Her essays , and class journals consist of topics that will have you scratch your head for a few seconds then, later obsess on the very topic!

She is a good teacher with a lot of sarcasm. but the class is tuff and the essay structure she teaches was very unfamiliar to the majority of the classroom if not the entire class. however by the end of the semester you get the hang of it. She gives a few essays and some groups work, along with extra credit opportunity. The class was stressful.
