Best class, best professor to teach it. It's like going to a comedy club when she lectures. Tests aren't easy but if you pay attention and do minimal studying then you're guaranteed an A.

Everything good u ever heard about her is so true. She's an awesome prof. & she uses humor to tackle the sometime embarrasing & taboo subjects about human sexuality. Her test are not hard but study the study guide & u'll do fine. She does give a group assignment so do it 'cuz its worth a lot of pts. When u think u know sex, watch out!

i took her human sexuality class as a summer course. i go to loyola marymount so the teaching style was different - easier. she is the most engaging, interesting, fascinating, smart, funny professor i have EVER had. everybody, i think, needs to go to cerritos JUST to take her class. it'll make your day, every day.

Pirtle is the best teacher I've ever had!!! She is very personable and super funny. As long as you show up to class and read your chapters you will do great. She also gives you hints about what will be on tests during lecture.(cough) I learned a lot in her class and enjoyed every minute of it. If you want to take a sex class, take PIRTLE, she's GOOD!

The class is a relatively easy A as long as you do very very well on the tests and the group final project because there isn't a huge margin for error if you are aiming for an A. Do all the extra credit!

Honestly one of the best teachers I have had at Cerritos. She made an uncomfortable subject very comfortable and interesting. Definitely a class every college student should take. As long as you attend most of the classes the tests are easy. The book is not required but helpful to have.

Extremely fun class. I bought the book but didnt even end up opening it. The tests themselves were easy. I just paid attention in class and managed to get Bs on the test which is pretty good considering i didnt read the book. Project at the end might be a problem for some since u might get stuck with lazy people.

Diane Pirtle was a cool professor. She likes what she does and is quite funny! Type of professor that listens to you. Shes not hard. There are only 4 tests and a group project at the end of the semester. Reading the book is ESSENTIAL to passing the class.
