Grossenbacher is hilarious and makes the class so much fun, I highly recommend taking it even if you have no initial interest in criminal justice. GB cracks jokes about everything and still manages to teach a lot in the class time - hes cool as hell!

Absolutly hilarious....loves to crack jokes and is good at doing it. Tests are easy as long as you syudy the review sheet and pay attention in class.

This guy rules. Quite possible THE BEST at GVSU. Very very interesting stories, I look forward to going to this class.

This guy is the best! Definitely one of the best profs I've had yet! Loves to make the class enjoyable, and will do anything to help. Just pay attention in class and study the review sheet. GB rocks so take him!!!

He is incredibly helpful, he repeats stuff twice, then will repeat again if asked. he is very clear with what he wants you to know and gives outlines for each exam

WOW This Prof is wonderful. He is more than willing to sit down with you to help study. You have to be willing to take alot of notes but he makes it easy to keep up by saying them a few times. His storys from when he was a secret service agent are awsome!

This guy is amazing. Worked close to 30 years in the Secret Service, so he knows his stuff. Awesome personality. Class flies by because he cracks jokes and makes information fun to learn and at a level where all students can understand. Take this guy!

It was amazing to see that 9/10 of the class showed up everyday. He doesn't even take attendance... Lots of people just liked the class that much - i have to say that i am not one of them, but he is still an awesome professor!

I knew that i loved him on the first day of class when he said "My name is Dick with a capital 'D'." He is one of the best profs I have ever had and I really enjoyed the class. Tests are easy but only if you read the chapters. He has great stories and time spent with him was always great!

Great prof. He has great stories bc he used to be in the CIA. He makes the class extremely interesting, so it's fun to attend. He is very helpful. He gives study guides for exams & you will do fine as long as you study a couple hours using the study guide.

He was awesome! He made a three hour class fly by anyone who can do that kicks butt in my book!! As long as you go to class you'll get an A in the class.

Grossenbacher is an awesome professor with an awesome class. It was pretty much the only class I looked forward to last semester. If you have the chance, take this class!

Very nice teacher. Really enjoy him. Tests are pretty easy. He uses examples from his past job to help us understand. If you don't know which prof. to take for cj, grab him, you won't regret it!!!

He is such a great prof! I look forward to going to his class every week (And it's a night class so that says a lot!) He really cares about his students and gives hands-on examples, doesn't stop until you understand..I suggest taking him!

If your looking for an informative CJ class this is the professor to have. He is very effective on his lectures and does not waste time on busy work. His stories from previous jobs are entertaining and informative. Review sheets are gievn for exams, making the exams a bit easier. Overall great class.

A MUST TAKE CLASS. HE is such an awesome professor. Very into his sunject, and very interesting lectures. No strict attendance policy, but it's a class you actually like going to. One of my favorites so far!

He is my absolute favorite Prof. He made me fall in love with criminal justice. The class is really easy too. No homework except one, two page paper and the occasional studying for exams (which he gives really good study guides on). Even though the class is easy, I still feel like I am learning a lot. This class is definitely worth while.

He is a great teacher and it is pretty cool to hear some of his experience. He was in the Secret Serves for a long time. He is a cool guy and he wants everyone to do well.

This guy KNOWS HIS STUFF! 29 years in the Secret Service and it SHOWS! He had a personal anecdote for every topic covered. Really helpful, no homework, helpful study guides, interesting videos, interesting lectures. Perfect "first professor" for freshmen.

He is an AWESOME teacher and definitely knows his stuff. Attendance is not mandatory but extremely helpful! If you go and take good notes you will do fine. The only time I used the book was to clarify a few concepts before the tests, otherwise his lectures are sufficient! I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM!

Grossenbacher is the best! Get this prof if you can. Very helpful, he wants you to do good in his class. His stories about the Secret Service are so cool. Only 3 tests, 1 final, and one small paper (2 pages). You will not regret taking this class!

Well this was an easy class, but I really liked the class and definitely the professor. He had many Secret Service stories and had a twisted sense of humor that I liked, also he mentioned the Sopranos in class, which is always a good thing. The tests aren't too bad at all and he grades easily on the paper if you follow directions, take himforCJ 101

After this semester, he's one of my favorite profesors, i was sad for the class to end. Good guy, great teacher. Definitely wants everyone to do well. Plus, he has awesome stories. If you have the opportunity take his class.

I loved this professor! He is very knowledgable in the subject and has great stories as a former member of the Secret Service. I had some family issues during the semester that made me miss class and he was very understanding and gave me plenty of time to make up the work.

I love this teacher!! He's always so exicited to teach the class, and I have learned soo much! For all you CJ majors, you have to have this teacher because you will learn so much. :)

He is not as easy as everyone says he is but he isn't too bad. He is a cool guy, has a lot of stories from being in the Secret Service. He is beyond helpful and as long as you pay attention in class you will do well. If I was a CJ major I would try to get him as much as possible because he is a great guy.
