Really good professor, the lectures were pretty good. We learned by examples of real life I would take him again!

Class is mandatory if you want to pass the semester. During class his lectures are not heavy and you don't get bored because of the life scenarios he gives you. You will not feel stressed, he's not tough, nor rude. He is very cool!:)

Diego Escobar tends to be a good teacher. Knows how to give class and make students understand the subject much better. Class isn't that difficult as long as you attend and turn in your work when it is due. As far as being absent or having trouble with homework, speaking to him will help you and he will find a way to adjust to your inconveniences.

Always read the textbook before lecture, take notes, it will greatly increase your chance to get a good grade. Participation is very vital in taking his class because hes grading is very strict. Overall i think his class is strict but you will learn the material just sit up front and pay attention.

His exams are easy but you have to use LockDown Browser. Helps a lot at the end of the semester with quizzes and some extra credit. I would totally recommend him for this class.

Very good instructor, makes you earn your grade. You have to read the book and he will give you feed back on it. At first he is very strict but at the end he gives you alot of extra credit.

In my experience, you do have to do your homework for better understanding of the work that's being presented to you. He is a very caring person when it comes to understand situations and is very professional and ethical. He is educated on this field and you'll assume the very first day that he's a student. Profesor Escobar is very smart and good teacher, he explains very well. The reading part is heavy and sometimes bored. If you want to get an A, you must read it. Extra credit assignments are very simple and easy everybody can make it. Exams are hell if you don't read the book.

Diego is a good professor, but the lecture time is short for all the material covered. Get ready to read, he does not provide power points and I think this hurts his class instead of boosting attendance. This is not an easy a but you will have a good foundation.I believe he should make the tests himself instead of getting them from the test bank.

This instructor is a bit tough because he expects you to be an expert even if youre just learning, just read the book & STUDY! Because this course isnt a course you can be careless about.

Great teacher, he is caring and covers all his bases. He will always meet with you out of class for help and any questions. The only thing that troubled me was the pace was extremely fast while chapters covered in the matter of minutes so times but other than that amazing experience

He teaches to learn not to pass. He is very well prepared. You need to read every chapter to pass. Mr Escobar you need to give a little of more time to do tests. I really do not like to do tests online it is very hard for my the wording you use is what really got me every time.

He can be very condescending at first but it is just to remove the unmotivated students in the class. The class is very challenging and tutoring out of class is recommended. Hes a hard ass but he cares for you if you stay in the class the whole semester. If you skip class you wont pass. be sure to read before you go into class , it helps with understanding the lecture. Professor Escobar really challenged me to perfom my best potential, class seems really hard at the beginning but as time goes by you get used to it. This is the best teacher I've ever had, and I learned a lot. I only wish he was more specific in his test questions, and that he would provide a review for each test.

Professor Escobar will challenge you from day one and if you can't handle a challenge this isn't the class for you. Attendance is always mandatory if you miss one day you are guaranteed to fall behind and lost for future lectures. The textbook is a must and will be used as a reference throughout the semester.

This class is not an easy one. You will have to read and study at least twice a week. There are 5 exams and approx. 5 quizzes, . Even though there are many assignments I do recommend you to take this course. Professor Escobar is always challenging you to become a better version of yourself and he is a GREAT professor.

although class is hard he explains every topic in a way you can understand it, also is willing to help you until you understand the concepts of each chapter.

In the beggining of the semester our professor made it very clear for what we as students need to do in this course. I admire the way he was during the semester. Prof knows his subject really well & he really cares for his students to learn the content thoroughly. Not easy, you do have to work for it but he does give extra credit. I feel like it was an overall great class, beware of the choice of your group. He will not let you change it so pick wisely. In the future I would like if conflictions happen with chosen group an the ability to change group. Although it is a good way to learn the people you like is usually not the best offer.

This course was tough, the Professor is strictly t professor. He is a good professor but he gets out of your comfort zone a lot. Participation matters or else you wont be getting participation points. You need to interact a lot with him and class. The more you talk the better. Study a lot, hardcore study, if you want to be challenge take him.

At the beginning , Escobar is scary. He can come across as a prideful man. However , letter on, he becomes super cool and funny. He is really good at explaining polar and non-polar topics and he is passionate about biology . You will be challenged in a good way!!!
