Great teacher. Anatomy is a tough course no matter who you take it with, but Burbridge was a great teacher and very helpful. Prepare for a lot of studying.

Great teacher for a tough subject. She really wants you to learn and do well. Burbridge is very helpful and will clarify anything as long as you ask. Anatomy is a tough subject so you really have to put the time into it in order to pass. Study her lecture and her slides and you'll do fine. I highly recommend taking Professor Burbridge.

She's a great. The tests are hard but at the end of the semester it's all curved anyway. You can get "B" all the way through and some "C" and still get an A in the class.

I took her for anatomy. She was such an awesome teacher- She loves her job and it shows. She goes over things as many times until everyone understands. Anatomy is a hard class but she made it enjoyable. I recommend taking her!!

You will really learn if you take her. She is so organized. Difficult subject matter, but she has a way of explaining things that will make you understand. Her enthusiasm really rubs off, and makes you want to learn even when you are all burnt out at the end of the semester and you still have a final to study for!

Prof Burbridge is one of the most helpful teachers I'v had in my science classes, Anatomy is a hard course, I dropped the course because I was falling behind but if I could have taken her again I would have.

She is a super nice instructor. She teaches & tests from her PwrPoints. She is too democratic in class and allows the bulk of irresponsible students to make decisions. She shouldn't give out so much extra credit-Students need to put in the study time. I heard she got rid of the study guide, which would make the class too hard. I liked her, though.

Interesting, especially for a 6 hour class in the summer. Helpful and patient. Study and you'll pass. P.S. Extra credit doesn't make people study less if the points are only valid if you studied for it. Be thankful that she's even cooperating with the students.

My first summer class! It was a challenge but Prof. Burbridge made it well worth the 5 weeks. It was laid back but hard work at the same time. I enjoyed the way she gave us the class choices. I do wish she had been a little bit tougher on the students who chatted a lot during class while she was speaking. I highly recommend her!

Burbridge was a great teacher. Very nice and knowledgeable and the test of any teacher, she would admit if she didn't know an answer but would research it and find it for you. It was a difficult class due to the subject matter and that wouldn't change with any teacher. People who couldn't handle it dropped, then complained on a public forum....

I love her! She is great. All her lectures are based on powerpoint which you can print before you go to class. She is great at explaining things in the simplest form. hard class, semitricky tests, LOTS of memorization but burbridge was an overall great, helpful teacher. managed to get an a so its definitely doable.

She is a really good teacher, but Anatomy is an extremely hard subject in general. She does her best for you to have a good time and learn the criteria, but the class IS INTENDED for medical field majors ONLY. You have to spend hours studying if you want to pass; and it's a good idea to attend the SI to help out with your grade. Don't miss class.

Great teacher, great way to approach material. Anatomy is not a walk in the park though. Use book to add info from power point. Make sure you team up with a good group for dissection, because they will affect your grade. I would take again, if classes were more available.

Anatomy is HARD. Burbridge genuinely wants her students to do well. She's very flexible with test and lab scheduling. There was a lot of over lapping but thats only because their is so much information to learn. I can't say that she's easy only because the subject is so hard, but I do believe she's INCREDIBLY fair. do your best and you'll be fine.

Prof Burbridge is a great teacher. I know she enjoys teaching the subject and I am so grateful to have had her as my professor. As far as college level courses go, it's not a difficult class. She is more than fair when grading tests...maybe a little too generous but I won't complain. It's really a no-brainer, study and you'll do well.

She is an awesome teacher! Very hard subject with lots of memorization. Do the reading before you go to class. And then re-read it again. Overwhelming b/c of so many resources you have to pull from. But study the questions at the end of each chapter and take the on-line quizzes. She is very nice so take advantage and ask for help. Good luck!

I took anatomy and physiology with her. the subject itself was sooo hard, but she made it seem fun and interesting. i had to study a lot but if she gave a lot of extra credit so its almost impossible to fail. I got an A. if u care about ur grade, she'll help you. Take her!

I was terrified to take this class. YES It is a HARD class doesn't matter what teacher you take it will be hard. Prepare for anatomy to own your life! Burbridge was great. she cares deeply about her students and wants everyone to do well. She takes her time explaining things. I really loved her. Take care! She's awesome and understanding.

I really enjoyed taking prof Burbridge. Shes really nice, kind, very funny and smart with her subject. Her lectures are Crystal clear. Anatomy is a hard subject so you have to keep up! I was apart of a crew called the OVERACHIEVERS !!! Let's just say that she gives you all the tools to pass the class. With a little bit of elbow grease meaning read the text, study the guides and put some TIME at least a 5 hrs a week and you'll b ok. She was funny and very personable. If you get a chance take her. Very helpful !

Amazing teacher, does a super good job, but def makes you learn it your self. The tests are actually easy, it's the studying for them that is hard, you have to get into a good study habit routine with this class. She says on the first day how hard this class will be, its no joke, but she makes it better.

I had to drop this class late in the semester because I knew I wasn't going to pass because I procrastinated really bad! However, she is really clear, organized, and and overall great teacher. To pass this class you cannot slack off AT ALL, it's a lot of memorization and studying. class consists of: quizzes, lecture exams, and lab exams, some hw.

I'm not gonna lie, her class was very challenging... I recommend studying for hours if you really want to pass her class! If you do bad on an exam, she'll pull you aside to speak with you in private about how you can better memorize the content and score higher. She definitely cares about each one of her students and is very kind and sweet lady!

THIS REVIEW IS FOR HER BIO60 CLASSES: She's a really good teacher. She's always available to help you. There's nothing tricky about her tests and if you participate and study, you should do fine. You need to study though! (She's not this easy for anat or physio). Definitely recommended.

So far I have a B for my midterm grade! BEST TEACHER for anatomy here at LBCC. She's very nice, helpful, patient & works with her students to help them THRIVE in the class and ACHIEVE, especially if she knows that you want to excel in the course. I want her for Physiology this Fall & I will update my grade again when the semester ends June 4, 2013!

One word... AMAZING. I honestly wish more professors were as kind and informative as she was. It goes to show that instructors don't need to be intimidating or condescending to get their students to learn. She is very passionate about what she teaches and she also loves to teach. The perfect combination!

She is an extremely great professor, I've never have a close connection to a professor before I enrolled in her class, she is clear on everything whenever you have a question or concern and very willing to help you with the class. Take her, you won't regret it!

So I was the student who did the midterm review stating I had a "B." Well 4 weeks before school was out I started having sickle cell crisis & hospitalizations. Ms. Burbridge was VERY understanding & allowed me to makeup my missed tests or labs. I STILL PASSED THE CLASS WITH a "B!!" So today I also enrolled in her physiology course this Fall.

Professor Burbridge is the best life science teacher. She is very helpful and she lectures really well. She has powerpoints that you can get online and if you have any questions she does not hesitate to help you out. I took her for anatomy and bio60, I must say her bio60 was really easy. You barely need the book if you follow the powerpoint.

She is one of the best professors in the science department. Don't buy the book, she barely uses it. Study the power points (PP) and buy the online web key since many problems on the exams/quizzes are from the practice exams/quizzes online. Make flash cards from the PP and take notes in class, do the online tests, and you'll get an A in this class.

I was impressed how well she explains. be in class every day, pay attention to her explanations and it will be quite easy when the exams come.

Must take Professor Burbrige. She is funny and always smile. You will get A under this conditions: 1) don't need the book. 2)study everything on her power point. 3) As for lab, she often look at the lab questions, so make sure you answer them correctly. 4) her quiz come from the online "Connect". Follow these rules and you will "A" the class.

She's a really good professor. She is very helpful and if you pay attention you will pass her class. There is a quiz every other week and there are also worksheets to turn in.

Prof Burbridge is the easiest and most helpful biophysioanatomy teacher. She is very approachable and helpful. She explains her lectures really well. Her classes always gets filled up cuz she is great. Human Bio exams and quizzes are lecture based, and off the powerpoint. No textbook needed. I highly recommend prof Burbridge

Had her for Anat 1 and she was the best prof. ever! Very easy, clear, and helpful towards people that were having a tough time. Moves at a slow and steady pace. Tests were based on lecture. Labs are identification of pictures and models. So awesome I took her again for Physio 1. Didn't buy a book. I passed both classes with an A! Recommended :)

Oh. Shes an amazing person with a great heart. Bio is hard so dont expect ease. She makes it as easy as she can but its up to u to pass and actually learn. I love her best professor ive had. Study the power points do the hw before time and study the quizes online before tests and youll pass. Shes the best.

I fell in love with Anatomy after taking her class. She moves at a slow & steady pace which allows you to fully absorb the information. Make sure to go to SI since that will only increase your Anatomy knowledge, do ALL the worksheets, online hw, & lab manuals since they increase your grade points, and make study guides for yourself.

Professor Burbridge was grate. Very easy to talk to and very clear lectures. Buy the book it's very helpful. Read the chapters ahead of time and lectures will be clear. 4 tests, several quizzes, lab book, and worksheets. SI wasn't helpful, attended the first one and never again throughout the semester. I strongly recommend taking her class.

She was 1 of the best professor I have ever taken!Lectures are long but that's good because she has a steady pace and gives you enough time to absorb the material. Exams 4 are usually about 80 questions. Do not be afraid! They re straight forward just read carefully! For lab study every minute you can with the models and ask questions!ATTEND SI

Professor B really cares about her students. She is a really nice person but Anatomy it is not easy. Expect test and quizzes every week. Must study three to four hours a day if you want to pass this class.

Bio is definitely not my favorite subject but Prof Burbridge was so helpful that I found it so much easier than usual! Lectures are important and the tests are based on them and the book, so you have to put in the work to pass, but it's possible! And she'll help you out if you need it. Probably the best science teacher I've ever had

She's nice. Lectures covers about 15%. lots of HW packets plus online reading exercises. Doesn't provide a study guide so you never know what you will be tested on. Doesn't review. be ready to teach yourself. labs are tricky. little extra credit. she doesn't curve. Had a total 89.9 and got a B. material is heavy study 5 hrs daily minimum. si helpf

Professor Burbridge is amazing! She is really nice and funny. She does give you a few extra credit assignment, helped me a lot! To pass her class, you NEED to read the book. Online connect homework due usually Sundays and homework packets for each chapter need to be done before the exams. She DOES provide a study guide on her Moodle.I recommend her

Burbridge is amazing, she truly cares about her students. If you need help go to her office hours. Read the book, it truly helps. Lots of work, Labs reports, hw, online hw, but it's very doable. I highly recommend taking her class.

Anatomy is just a difficult difficult course no matter who you take & Prof B is great at making it understandable enough. LecExams are based on her PP so record & review lectures LabExams cover all the vocab she gives; dont cram! Connect, wrksheets, & lab manuals take time but their easy points to get. She gives extra credit if you work for it.

class is challenging and makes u think and prepares us for nursing i think.. much harder than anat but professor is kind and caring and she wants u to succeed but she won't hold your hand. getting a high B almost an A right now but I go to her office hours all the time to get help. she is very helpful and explains things great. highly recommend

whoever didn't pass with at least a B in Burbridges class clearly didn't try at all. This class is so easy and the material is not hard to understand. Her exams questions are straight out of PP and Lecture. Everything she talked about in class was seen on her exams. Just take enough time to study the material and thoroughly understand it

Lecture exams are lecture and PP based Homework consists of ONLY connect hw and lab report questions, both of which are extremely easy Lab exams are ONLY based off of the background into in the lab reports, the lab exams are incredibly easy. BOTTOM LINE- if you study and take enough time to study the material you will get in A in this class!

Professor B is an excellent teacher. She presents dense information in a clear and comprehensible way, adding humor and analogies to help students understand. Very nice and likable. I took her human biology class and I did have to put in time to read and study, but that's only to be expected. She didn't assign excessive work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Attend lectures, take good notes, pay attention and ask questions - you'll be fine. She is very available outside of class and really prompts students to ask questions. Her classes are VERY lecture heavy but the exams and quizzes aren't impossible. She's kind, energetic, super caring and also just plain adorable!

Professor B knows exactly how to present the material needed for the tests. Each week there is online homework which is time consuming, but if you show up to class and study you will pass! Quiz every class period and the exams are challenging, but Professor B will go over everything to ensure you pass.

Honestly this class is difficult Ill give you that, but in order to pass this class you constantly have to be on it (meaning you breath Anat) going to Si helped me a lot and creating flashcards and PP are very much needed to pass this class and forming study groups is key. Ton of worksheets but finish ahead of time. Think outside the box with test

Heres what you need to know to pass this class: form study group that are always down to study, create Quizlets that make you think outside the box (it helps the critical thinking portion for her test), when memorizing for lab exams practice spelling and cover the answers to know if you understand it,record lectures so you can review!

Prof B is great! Her class is tough, but you will do well if you work hard. To succeed you will have to be willing to study 16+ hours a week (at least), go to S.I., read the textbook, and it helps to have a dedicated study group. Recording the lectures and making flashcards will help! Her exams aren't hard if you study well!

One of the most amazing professors on this planet. She is tough but very clear about how much work her classes are. Very encouraging and funny. I would suggest recording her lectures, the are super beneficial to review with her power points. She is all about preparing you for the next step and willing to point you in the right direction.

Read all textbooks. Then read powerpoint lectures. Very caring and grade curve is high. Must study at least 10-15 hours a week. Use all school resources to aid with underatanding class.

I had a great experience with her fall 2019. Although we got behind & off track, she just adjusted the schedule we, the students, wouldn't feel rushed. She would often include us in decisions regarding scheduling of quizzes or tests. In her lab she very attentive and really wants her students to succeed. Oh and shes very attentive, notices absences

Dr. Burbridge is so sweet! Shes super approachable and you instantly feel welcomed when you walk into her class. Shes very great at explaining things and answering questions! However, if you are going to take this class, be prepared for loads of homework. It does come in handy when it comes to the exams though! Overall, great and kindest teacher!

Dr Burbridge was an amazing professor. The class is very difficult, but she is very clear about her expectations at the beginning of the semester. If you can avoid it, I don't recommend taking this class online. I had to switch to online because of covid, and it really took the fun out of this class and made it much more difficult

During the semester, we had to switch to online instructions. Professor Burbridge made it easy to adjust. She had clear grading criteria and gave extra credit. She was very inspirational during a difficult period, and genuinely cares about her students. I highly recommend her.

i loved professor burbridge's classes! i took her for anatomy in 2019 and i had her for physio spring 2020. both classes packed with important info, so she understandably makes you work for it. she was so empathetic and caring during the covid transition to online classes! i can't stress how helpful she was! she is such a respectable professor

No upper division anatomy course should be easy, but Prof B is a wonderful professor! You'll do well if you stay on top of your work and complete all extra credit given. Be sure to watch all lecture videos, any videos she posts + take the practice quizzes from the text book. Just be proactive + do all the suggested work + STUDY, like, every day!!

I took this class online and over the summer! It was really intense but I still managed to get an A. Prof B is great! She gives a lot of homework, but it's mainly participation, which really helps your overall grade. Do everything she suggests, including all videos and modules. Test material comes from her lecture videos. Be sure to study a lot!!

You'll be very busy with this class. Take good notes during lecture. 3 long answer essay questions for part of exams (but she gives you the questions in advance to prep your answer!) Very sweet person and wants you to pass. She doesn't grade hard but challenges you to really understand the logic. Great as explaining things. Easy to talk to. Love!:)

I loved this professor. Lectures are so clear and fun. Did not require zoom lectures, instead they were recorded. Very nice, clear and concise, helpful, and supportive. Lots of work, but all engaging. I highly recommend her if you need to take an online class

Lectures are prerecorded. Gives a lot of homework and projects, but all these assignments help you prepare for the exams. Exams are tough, so you need to study everyday. She gives many points, so if you fail the exams you can still pass the class. She also gives extra credit!!!!

There are a LOT of group/solo projects, not many essays. lectures are pre-recorded. You NEEEEED to study to pass w/ a good grade. But she does offer a ton of xtra credit. Exams are 65 question w/ 3 long essay, the essays are easy, she gives questions before hand as prompts. just do them prior to test. Final is NOT cumulative, 90 question test.

Great professor! She is amazing and makes physiology fun! Her assignments include group projects and lots of case studies that are really interesting and actually help you learn the subject. Easy class to pass as long as you submit all the work and do okay on tests.

Online lectures that you can rewatch, don't need to start them over from the beginning once they are complete and you CAN skip either ahead or behind once you fully watched the video entirely. She provides handouts of what will be on the quizzes and YOU also need to put in the work to learn the material. Lots of study time is needed maybe 15+.

She's a great professor, very helpful with any questions you have especially during office hours. Gives a lot of good recourses too. But it's a tough class, a lot of people retake it I guess. Im one of them. But she's great.

Test are a major part of your grade. You want to be sure to do the homework and get every single point as possible, and do all the extra credit as well. It is a tough class, with a lot of memorization and studying involved. I took online lectures but reading the textbook is a must to understand the material. In lab, ask questions and participate.

Be ready to read! There are 2 projects that need to be done and an essay. She quizzes weekly, has lots of homework, and multiple assignments due at the end of the week. Tests are hard, look over and try to complete her study guide (4 tests). DO NOT TAKE MULTIPLE SCIENCE CLASSES, this class is hard on it's own and requires a lot of attention.

She is a thorough lecturer, and teaches a very complete course. Just keep studying and you will do great. The projects were really nice.

Professor Burbridge's ANAT1 class is challenging but rewarding. Her lectures are thorough, and she provides useful resources. To succeed, stay engaged, use the textbook, and try Unstuck ai alongside other study tools. With dedication, you can do well in this course.

Dr. Burbridge is an amazing professor. Her lectures are fun, and the majority of her exams are pulled from lecture notes. She helps keep you on tract and makes classwork engaging, but Anatomy is a class the requires a ton of individual study time to succeed. You must put in the work to do well in the course, and she certainly notices the effort.

Very easy but alot of studying.

Very intelligent professor who cares about every student and wants them to understand the material. For lab you just have to memorize anatomy so there's not really any critical thinking involved except for lecture but she gives a cheat sheet for the exam. Super easy class did ok for lecture awesome for memorizing and got an A.

Dr. Burbridge gives you everything you need to succeed—you just have to keep up. Watch the PlayPosits, go through the slides, take solid notes, and show up to class. Studying a little every day really helps, especially for the practicum. Use all the resources she provides, team up with classmates, and check out the DESTINO Center. You'll crush it!
