Professor Synodinos was by far the best teacher I've had at Norco. I can only hope the rest of the teachers I take for my AA in Political Science teach as well as he did. He really educated his students while keeping his class interesting and fun. His test were hard only if you didn't study. Sad it was his last class, but greatful I took it.

Dimitrios is good at what he does! Take his course of study if you want to learn a life lesson. He's more a philosopher then a politics professor in my judgment. Professor Synodinos is unlike any other. He has an entertaining way of engaging the class and delivering the course material, which helped me to focus and process the information better. I must warn that his exams can be difficult, but they're doable if you're well prepared. In all, I would take his course again!

You know the giant marshmallow man from Ghostbusters? Thats him. He reminds me of him. He seems scary but at the end of the day he is made out of freaking marshmallow so you shouldn't be scared. If you need to take a political science class, TAKE HIM. His lectures are so amazing, so organized, so clear, by the end you will be left in complete awe. He makes a 3 hour class feel shorter than my 1.5 hour classes. Be prepared to smile and laugh because of his unique charm and awesome humor. The lectures were so much simplified and straight forward, the materials that we were supposed to know were very clear. He even provided us with an outline!! he really wants you to pass the class, you just have to dedicate some time to study for an A. His constant smile and jokes create such a positive environment. Professor Synodinos is an amazing teacher!! Since everyone says that he is so great, a lot of people don't study for the tests, don't make this mistake! There is a lot of information covered so you actually need to study, but once you do, you will be fine. You have to work a little bit for the A but it is definitely doable.

Professor Synodinos is hilarious! The class wasnt the easiest, so I would recommend that you really study for the tests and quizzes. The lectures were pretty interesting though, so you wont fall asleep. He also plays cool music at the beginning of class sometimes, so thats a plus.

I miss this professor so much! His class was the first Political Science course I'd taken a few years back, and now I'm majoring in it at UC Berkeley. I remember his exams being on the difficult side, and he makes you work for your grade, but he is extremely helpful and accommodating. I would highly recommend him for PS and non-PS majors alike.

The class is really easy. His tests are exactly whats given on the study guide. Hes very fun and passionate about his class. Open for conversation and debate. I dont know how people didnt get an A in this class. Attendance is mandatory and theres a lot of students who want to take this class so show up early on the first day.

For Pol sci 101 the textbook isn't needed. It's good to have, but his tests are lectured based. His lectures are fun and he does a good job making you stay awake for the entire lecture. Fair grader. This is one teacher who actually cares about what he teaches. I like this guy . I didnt study hard thats why I got a C but this was the best lecture class I ever been in always exciting.

If you are a Political Science major, Professor D is 100% the best teacher to begin your journey in the major. He gives you everything you need with his great lectures and inspiring stories. There are three tests, but if you pay attention and study, you will do great. He gives you everything you need to study and is always easy to reach out to.

If I could recommend one professor to you it would have to be Professor Synondinos! His lectures are not only interesting but also entertaining. It's one of the few classes that I look forward to and have learned a lot from. He truly cares about his students and as long as you use all the materials he offers, you'll easily pass. take the quizlets!!

If you're looking to take political science, Professor D is the best! His lectures are amazing and his knowledge of the material is incredible. Not only is the class easy to pass if you study and pay attention, you actually learn and retain a lot of the information from this course. You definitely won't regret taking it!

Honestly, one of the best professors out there. He gives you lessons about life which is really important. He also cares for his students and he wants his student to work hard for their grades. If you put effort into his class, you will for sure get an A in his class and A in life.

He's a great professor, a very memorable person. I waited for in-person classes to open up to take his class and it was def worth it. Just know that as fun as it is, you really do have to take notes and study to get a good grade. If you want an easy A class, don't take his course but I feel like the experience was worth the extra work tbh.

He is hilarious, very kind, and very caring, and his lectures are not hard at all as long you pay attention and take notes. He does not give extra credit and is strict about being late to class. Incredible professor.. MORE than a teacher. He's a charismatic guy with lots of knowledge and passion. He can take any topic and make it interesting and easy to learn. He's a tough grader as far as effort goes, but the tests are NOT hard. They're easy if you pay attention and you take notes. He's great at making you WANT to learn. A+++ Professor!!!

He was a great professor! He truly cares for his students. He is more on the strict side so if you're taking this class for an easy A, this isn't gonna work for you. I did love this class, his lectures were so funny and educational. His humor keeps you focused and into the topic. I definitely recommend to take this class, he is the best!

Prof D will teach you more than Pols Science. The exams are not hard as long as you pay attention to the lecture but make sure you attend the lecture otherwise you wont get extra points. There are 3 exams with some short essays in them. He'll share some of his personal experience during class and they are related to the topics. Get ready to learn.

Prof D is the best & he will teach you so much about PoliSci plus you'll truly learn for life on top of that! He always puts in the effort for all his students, so put in the effort as well & you will do great! Definitely take him when you're a PoliSci major, but also if you're not! And take the in-person class! Already miss this class so much!

Dimitrios is great hilarious guy, respect him he will respect you. Lots of writing 2 quizzes per week very easy tho but USE HIS QUIZLET AND OUTLINES and you will pass everything with no problem. His tests are super easy if u use quizlet/study. he is kind, caring, passionate, about his students and about his work. I love him GREAT Personality AZ;)

This isn't an easy class, but Professor D's passion for the subject and creative approach to his lectures is outstanding! You're going to laugh a lot, learn a lot, but make sure you're punctual with your assignments. If you pay attention during lectures and study efficiently, this class will be a piece of cake. And I'm not a poli sci major btw)

First time seeing a professor that cares about students' understanding of the course more than they do. He is also always available to help (no matter the time), I personally study at nights and he was there to assist at 12am. Just pay attention during lectures and study at least 30 minutes twice a week. Highly recommend taking him in-person!!

I attended online classes, so for me, it was hard to pay attention. But use Quizlet, attend office hours, and ask about your progress. My first essays were not well. But professor D. always made points where I did better than last time.

Be prepared to turn your phone off 0 tolerance for cell phones. he cares a lot about tardiness, absences and talking. be ready to type/write he lectures hard and sometimes it is hard to keep up with. overall amazing teacher you will learn a lot from him I promise. This was the best learning experience I ever had. Professor Dimitrios is funny when he gives his lectures, but he is also very caring about your grade in the class. If you care about your grade he cares too. I was struggling at the end of the semester and he told me what I needed to study for in order to pass. He helped me out a lot.

I'm the least poli sci person ever but Prof. D's lectures are honestly so interesting, I almost considered switching majors. I had his class was once a week, for about 3 hours and I never wanted to miss a lecture. He shares his take or playbook on life and if you use that, you can easily pass his class.

Probably the best professor I have had so far. You can tell he truly loves his job and his students. He also doesn't assign much homework and the stuff he does assign takes an hour to do. His lectures are pretty long but he makes it so interesting. He has a very unique and special personality. If you need to take polisci101 take it with him, trust.

Simply the best. Great, entertaining lectures filled with insightful anecdotes. Great study guides and materials that are excellent preparation for tests. Easily accessible, even over the weekends. Lots of writing though, although you get accustomed to what is desired pretty quick. A must-take professor!

Dimitrios allowed me to not only remember material from the lectures but also retain it weeks after. As long as you study the Quizlet, your notes, the slides and the videos, connect the ideas together and understand it, it is a guaranteed A with perfect attendance. His lectures are detailed and fun. I would like to have him for every subject.

I took this class during the winter semester. During this shortened semester, Professor Synodinos was very accomodating. He made class very fun to attend, as his lectures were overall a good time. The book isn't required, just listen to his lectures and take good notes and you'll do well on his tests and quizzes. Overall would take again!

I definitely recommend taking Professor D's class. He teaches very well and gives you another viewpoint of political science. He grades very professionally and tells you if your assignment is well done or not. His lectures were very interesting and helpful, he also does make his class very funny so it's not a boring class.

I did terrible in this class but it was absolutely not the professors fault, I can admit when Im in the wrong. Im not a poli sci major and had a hard first semester, I wouldn't recommend this to students brand new to college. But if you really want to learn you're going to, he's a great person. You just have to be respectful and show up.

Professor D does actually care about his students' knowledge. He wants them to learn and try their best. To be honest, if you are taking this class for general education, then maybe consider taking an easier teacher; however, if you want to major in poli sci, then his class is exactly what you need.

The lecture is 4 hours, but Professor D teaches so interestingly that you don't notice how time flies.
