Hey Guys, dont be mad at him, his industry experice is great and he brings marketing together very well better than the university counterparts do.He is a good instructer enough of this slanderous behavior. about his personal life.

This teacher is an extremely insecure individual who ridiculs his students to make himself feel big. This does not prepare anyone for the "real" world becuase anyone in their right mind would quit a job where they are treated like crap.
This course is very hard since this fool teaches you nothing. He is quite possibly the worst teacher most people will ever have. Do not choose this course and if you do, run the other way when you see his name. Horrible, absolutely HORRIBLE!!

hard to learn i suggest that he allows the students to download the powerpoint so that the people who are visual learners can see the notes while he teaches. this class is hard to understand. sometimes we dont even know what we are learning hehehe

He is very sketchy. I did not enjoy this class. Gives no direction, hard marker, unclear with assignments. Avoid this class alltogether. If you are 10 seconds late, you get to know the hallway for the remainder of class time :(
Not an easy marker. Relates couse to real businesses. If you read the text you will have no problem with the tests. He does have a problem with Campbell's soup and McDonalds so don't mention them.

you people need to get a clue. this guy teaches a really good class.it gets real anoying when people walk in every five seconds.as for not being clear about assignments,read the direction and stop expecting the prof to hand feed you your grades. C'mon guys, I can't believe you guys are in college. Dino Bertucci is a good guy and he'll teach you more about the world around you than any teacher in that school. Even if he does have a few things that you don't like about him or maybe he does have a few issues, but WHO DOESN'T?? He teaches a good class. Maybe the problem is you.

Very knowledgeable of the subject, except could try a little more explanations about some things. Just be sure to read the chapters ahead of time and use the learning aid and you'll get good. I didnt write my final yet but i got a 80% on my midterm. Some of his jokes can be corny though.. if you take him ull understand lol
What an ****, I didn't like how he belittled students b/c they did not compare to his "brilliance" get out while you can unles you can take criticism and like a guy who has some sort of leather fetish.
He is a very good teacher, He explains everything very well, all you guys have to do is just try to get to his classes on time, and liston carefully to his lectures, but he is not an easy marker, Good Luck

Doesnt allow you to write notes while he is explaining the over heads.
Sure, he's a little bit of a stickler but at least he's straight forward and super clear. I've had him three times as a prof and would not hesitate to take him again. He's really funny if you like sarcasm, and doesnt **** around. You only get what you deserve in his class, so don't set unrealistic expectations.
This guy was a pain sometimes. He may be intelligent, however, I feel what he has to share is not worth the painful lectures. If you have an intrest in the course he offers - take it, but be advised. And the leather thing is a little disturbing.
He is nothing special, only average. The only thing I don't like about him is that he rushes us and talks during our quizzes, tests or exam! (Not very professional prof..not your typical prof...a little strange) other than that he seems to know what he is talking about.
Very easy going, funny and an enjoyable professor
He's very professional & teaches more then just what's in books. He goes straight to the point. Maybe if students will not skip his class and come on time then they won't end up being humiliated. In terms of marking, I think he's fair, I mean, if all your points for the case is listed on the case, then don't expect to have a good mark "think outside of the box".

At first i thought he was a jerk. but he is alright. Listen, he does prepare you for the real world. Sure he will belittle you but you better know your stuff. My class was based on quizes and two exams. The quizes are worth 20% of the final mark. I got 55% on my quizes, 71% on the midterm, and 27% on my final exam. How did I get a C+. Well either this prof messed up my marks horribly or he boosted me atleast 20%. In conclusion, WOW. Pretty good proffesor imo.
Overall a nice guy. Be on time and pay attention. He is the best prof at preparing you for the workplace. He's blunt, to the point teaches well. Great guy. 914
Agree with the post below. Keep your mouth shut, and attend class. His quizzes have nothing to do with the course, directly. They'll be random so SHOW UP! One of his quizzes: Should people with incurable diseases have kids? He's should teach social studies, but he's good in marketing too.
How can anybody defend this man? Let's forget about his industry experience easiness rating for a second. He is degrading, hurtful, unprofessional, rude, arrogant, and generally not a nice person. If you want somebody with real industry experience and great teaching style, try Brian Cronin or Blair McMurchy. Avoid this poor excuse for a human!
He is one of the best prof/teacher that taught me. Really helpful, knows what he is talking about. He is funny sometimes. But he give really hard exams.

Generally a good prof! Likes to pick on people that are late or ask silly questions. Just show up on time, and keep your mouth shut, and you'll do fine. Lots of quizes so attendance is key!
His marking is hard but he has quizes for bonus marks. Show up on time and listen when he ask you to do something. I disagreed with him from time to time and he called me annoying. I called him rude for calling me annoying. We agreed to disagree but listen and come to class and you will be fine. Defend yourself not others.

Attendance is not mandatory but there was BONUS quiz for attendance? He joked and read the powerpoint in class...Compared with other MRK teacher, he is bad. He is an amazing professor. If you do the readings after class and show up to class all the time the class's are very useful, if you dont then you are wasting your time. Overall Mr.Bertucci is a great professor.
Dino Bertucci is the best teacher i have ever had. This person knows how to make students interested in the learning process. As for me,Dino was very helpful. Some people think that he is not kool,well, if they didnot study and failed ,its on their account.I wish i had him on MRK213, but unfortunately i dont.Dino Bertucci is the best!!!!!

I initially thought Mr. Bertucci was great in the sense that he prepared everyone for the real world. And boy was I wrong, his assignments are VAGUE, criteria for marking is ambigous. Even if you attend class regularly, you wont learn much from him. You will learn everything EXCEPT marketing. Not approachable at all.

Bertucci is a funny prof. Just read your text and attend class (don't need your text). Quizes are fair, allows you to have class discussions on each question. Always makes the class very lively. Don't debate against him though, he'll never let it go for the entire class. Need a strong sense of humour, or you'll get piss, overall *thumbs up*

hey does not have textbooks for his classes nor final exams and midterms... just do the assignments in class and you will do fine. hes a very smart teacher that knows his stuff, dont try to debate with him tho. overall very good prof
