great teacher, speaks clear English, don't let the name scare you

the class itself is jr high material. She is a good teacher and explains things clearly. Reviews for tests are great and she will not surprise you with hard problems

If you aren't good at math and have to have this class I would definitely take her. She is easy, but still a good teacher.

It felt like I was back in middle school. For intellectual minds, you'll probably never come to class and fail the easiest class ever.

She's pretty easy, the day before the tests there was a review and she practically gave us the questions with 1 or 2 numbers changed. She's nice but sometimes she messed up math problems and gets the wrong answer even though she's the teacher haha.

she is one of the easiest cal o pre-cal prof. explain until u understand and her test is ok. learn the pretest n u WILL do fine in the real test.

Be prepared to listen to her dry sense of humor. She tends to go off on her own little tangets, and people laugh to make her feel better. Teaching wise: Very easy. She explains the same problem over and over again. Recommended if you need more than one example.

She is the easiest teacher to take. You dont even have to come to class , except the study days to get review and the sample problems that are going to be on the test. Her dry humor is aggravating but she is cool though.

She is the best math teacher you could ask for. Two out of the five tests were take home! And she lets you bring a sheet of notes for the test. Plus she gives you a study guide. Very agreeable. Wonderful lady.

Very straightforward professor! She gives many clear examples and explains the concepts well. She is always very funny and will often deviate a bit into one of her little stories! Overall, the class is fairly easy - perfect if you don't really like math and just need to get your Gen Ed requirement out of the way.

The best General Education Math Prof. at the Univ. of Memphis! Class is entertaining, not too much homework, and has a pleasant disposition. Take Prof. Bacopulos if you get a chance.

Not a bad professor; isn't very thorough but this is a good class to take if you don't like math but need the gen ed credit. Her only grades are tests, which are pretty easy (she gives you a study guide, and sometimes lets you use notes). The only problem is that she makes a LOT of mistakes on her answer keys - so look over graded tests!

Very easy teacher, allows students to use notes on tests after the second quiz. She's been teaching the class for years, so she knows that some of the questions are wrong, so that's extra credit. She drops the lowest grade and counts the final, I believe two or three times if you miss three tests.

She is great! If you are not so good at math then she is the best teacher to take...She helps you whenever needed...will stay before or after class, lets you out early, knows what she's talking about...and surely you'd pass!

She is an easy teacher and always willing to help. ALOT of take home test... which for me was AWESOME. She has been teaching this for years and can get a little ahead of herself but all you have to do is ask her to slow down and go over it again.

Very cool lady. She has a review day the day before the test and lets you bring in one sheet of paper with ANYTHING on it on test day, she goes over the test the class before, only changing the actual numbers. Put two and two together, you can essentially bring the test to class. If you don't do well, its your own fault

For people who thought that college was going to be easy, take this teacher, She is the easiest teacher EVER! She reviews the test (How can you fail?). The only thing she counts is 5 of your test grades out 7. Your final exams is optional if you like your 5 test grades. TAKE HER, you will be glad you did. Sometimes she even gives TAKE HOME TEST!

She is a great teacher! Who wouldnt like a teacher who dont take attendence, give extra credit, take home test, and a 1 cheat sheet for the test!! She also try to help you as much as possible!!

This is the best instructor I ever had. Explains the material very well. If you do not get it she will explain it another way. Gives a multitude of examples

The class is easy...just DO your homework and quizes online and on time, thats how you know if you get the material. Class is a breeze, especailly because you can get online while she is teaching. Her overall dresses and jokes keep you coming even when you don't want to.

She is very easy recommend her to anyone. Sit in front smile at lame jokes do homework and quizzes on time. She goes over questions that will be in the same form on the test for review and you can use notes I had like a 98 and I hate math.

*yawns* Very boring and tells lame jokes during her lectures. The majority of the students would be on FB while she was teaching. I passed this class by doing my homework and teaching myself. I would definitely recommend her, but a word of advice: Quizzes and Test are a very big part of your grade so do well!

She is a very easy teacher, but very boring! I never payed attention in class instead I just did the homework and taught myself using the view example options on Mathlab. She would go over answers in class and students would have to correct her. When you ask questions she makes you feel stupid for asking. Not a good teacher but Easy

I HATE MATH, AND MADE A GOOD GRADE B+. MRS. B. WAS VERY HELPFULL IN EVERY ASPECT, ALL U HAVE TO DO IS ASK HER AND TALK WITH HER. THE STUDY GUIDES ARE THE TEST, JUST THE NUMBERS CHANGE TO PROTECT THE INOCENT. SHE ALLOWS UNLIMITED HOMEWORK ATTEMPTS TO MAKE AN "A" UNTIL THE DUE DATE, AND THE QUIZES, 8 TIMES TO MAKE AN "A". TAKE HER IF YOU CAN.

The whole point of doing math on the computer is to learn the material for your self. Active learning is the only way to understand the material

A must take if you need a Math Credit. You do not have to come to class. Just come to the review test days and text days and you will make an A. Her test are the same as the reviews and she drop your lowest test grade. Only bad thing is that online homework and quizzes are about 20-30 percent of your grade, very easy but a little time consuming.

Try to follow along as she writes on the board. If not, you can always teach yourself later online. I couldn't imagine an easier system of homework and tests than what she uses. Easiest class ever.

She was a great teacher. She sometimes made mistakes while going over problems, but it wasn't a big deal. Just correct her with a smile. She is a very nice lady. You don't really have to come to class except on review day and test day. That's what I did and still manage to come out with and A. Do well on quizes and hmwk on myMath Lab!

She is a super easy professor. She goes over a review before the test and actually gives the answers to some of the questions that will be on the test. This was the easiest math class I have ever taken. She is wonderful!!

So far this semester, both tests have been take home. Does not grade homework or even check it. She doesn't even have an attendance policy. If you need a math credit, probably a safe bet. She's really nice and means well. She cracks dry jokes in class and some are funny. Lol

This is a very easy class to take. She breaks the info down into very simple ways. She does not have an attendance policy but just show up the class before test and she will review. Also complete all homework and quizzes on mymath lab and you will do great!!!

She's about the easiest and the most fair instructor for 1420. She knows that the class won't need the type of math she teaches, but makes it easy to pass anyway.

If you are considering a math class to take for a gen ed, look no further!! She was the sweetest and most easy-going professor I've ever had! The homework is all online, and you can bring in notes to the exams. Often times she reviewed the test over with us a few days before we took it. Take her class!!!

Great class. Attendance isn't mandatory but I recommend you go anyway, she gave out extra points because the class was starting to become rather empty. As long as you do all online quizzes and assignments you will pass this class. Easy A!

The class is super easy and the work is reasonable. If u have to take this class sign up for her. And you usually get out early.

She doesnt use the book, she may reference it but you dont need it in class. Unfortunately you have to buy the book because all the work is online. She doenst take roll but i recommend going to class the day before each test she will go over how many questions and what type of questions you have to study and you can use that on the test. its easy..

The easiest math teacher you probably get. She explains everything thoroughly and you never use the text book.if you can just try to buy the code online for the website because all work is on that website. she drops lowest 3 grades so u will definitely have a high grade if u complete all assignments.

She is extremely friendly and throughly goes over all the material. I am horrible in math and I made an A. Also, only buy the online code, not the text book.

Professor Bacopulos is a good professor. The book isn't used unless you need a reference. Attendance is not mandatory as long as you complete your homework, quizzes, and test online but she does give extra credit for coming to class. If you want an easy A in math I highly recommend her.

If you want to actually learn something, don't take this class. All of her tests were open note and open book. The tests came straight from the online homework and quizzes. So you could basically just copy your answers down. Super easy class!

Everything is online: quizzes, homework, tests. You don't have to go to class...I only went on test days. You can get everything from doing the homework online; it will tell you how to solve every problem.

LOVED this class, and i HATE math. Super easy, all the work is online. As long as you take good notes or copy homework it is an easy 100! You would have to be an idiot not to pass this class with flying colors

Professor Bacopulos single handedly restored my faith in math. I have never met a professor who genuinely cares that students understand the information & can pass quizzes/tests. Yes everything is online & yes if you have good notes and pay attention it's simple. But sometimes Math is a tough subject no matter how much you prepare. She is awesome!!

This is by far the best Math class I have taken EVER. She is the BEST Math teacher. She makes everything crystal clear & she teaches well. You dont need the book only the access code. My Math Lab will serve as the book. She is the sweetest woman ever. Always pleasant and willing to help. Loved this class!

Professor Bacopulos was definitely my favorite professor! She really made my transition as a Freshman easier. I would definitely take her class again!

She was a god send. I hated math but needed this course. she made everything easy and there were no hard assignments.

As a person who was ALWAYS terrible at math she did make it so much more easier for me. I took her in the summer and followed EVERY direction she uttered and PASSED. If your major ables you to take MATH 1420 and you do not consider yourself a math wiz I highly recommend her especially during the summer.

Easy her class is all online based the HW CW and Quizzes even test. All the same format. On quiz day or Test day they online assignment is password protected so you have to show up then. but the rest you can do from home. Her lectures are easy and she pretty much works the problems that are CW. she spend the his half teaching the rest of the class is HW time.

Mrs. B was great, she has an odd humor about her. Just make sure you do your homework and quizzes each week and you'll pass with an easy A. If you have any questions she's very polite and willing to help.

I took Professor Bacopulos during the summer term and she was fairly reasonable. She does not give extra credit but she does drop three of your lowest homework grades and your lowest quiz grade, which could really boost you up. Pay attention to those deadlines because she will not budge on reopening assignments. Overall, I would recommend her.

Attendance is not mandatory; all of the assignments, tests, and even the final exam are done online on PEARSON. I definitely recommend taking her super sweet and easy class!

She is an outstanding Professor, if you need help with homework/quizzes/test she helps you go over it, and makes sure you understand.

Bacopulos' class has an online component, but attendance is mandatory. Assignments and tests are all online, which can be convenient. Definitely use unstuck study and the textbook to prep - it's a fairly straightforward course if you put in the work.
