All of Dipra's classes are fairly clear and to the point if you attend every class, he's the best teacher/advisor I've ever had and his powerpoints as well as discussion on class time make it a better college experience and you don't HAVE to have the book if you go to all classes. He shares a lot of in the world today hospitality news. Good Stuff!

This class is very good. Go to class you learn a lot more. He tells stories that makes it easy to understand. He also keeps you up on whats going on in the world.

He gets directly to the point and helps you understand things easily. He also incorporates current events into the material we are learning so we understand general applications to the methods we learn.

Great teacher...I enjoyed his class

I thought that this was a very interesting class. It helped open my perspective on accounting and budgeting. Not only for a business stand point, but on a personal one as well. More people need to realize how to budget their money and how to save while our country is at an all time low.

This class was sooo awesome! Yes because of the wine tastings... but becasue I've always wanted to learn more about wine, and I did and am now exploring the wine world. I also thought the guest speakers were awesome and the lectures and powerpoints were very helpful as well!

I had a blast learning about all of the different types of **** beverages that are available today. Thanks for all of the fun Dipra! And keep up the good work!

I enjoyed this class. Lots of real world examples and good info about resorts. Team project was fun because I had a good group to work with.

Fun class and great instructor! I enjoyed his lectures and also thought the guest speakers were awesome. Wine tastings were the best part of this class. I am glad I took this class my final semester before I graduated.

Great instructor! Gave lot of current examples to explain accounting concepts. His exams are online which is really helps students with text anxiety.

Great instructor and I really enjoyed this class because it was online. I could learn at my pace and post weekly comments on the discussion board. His assignments were fun too! Glad I took this class with him.

Class was great. Online tests were easy and the class only meets twice all semester. Overall the class was actually REALLY interesting, all about food and parts of the world. Definately would take this class if possible. Just read the textbook and you will ace the tests and discussion questions!

Fun, informative classes

Class attendance is not required but his lectures are pretty good. Talks about a lot of real-life examples so he keeps it interesting.

He's really cool and pretty easy. He's really funny and is actually not too hard to pay attention to. Overall, I liked him a lot and would absolutely recommend him to anyone!

Dipra Jha is a great instructor. He combines technical knowledge with real world experience to give students an idea of what waits for them after college. He challenges students to think for themselves and to use creative problem solving. Probably the best instructor I've ever had.

Class was alot of fun! Great in class discussion instead of reading notes all hour!! Longer project required but it's interesting! Text book only needed for tests.

The lectures were ok, the feild trip was pretty fun and the group project was a little challenging and I was overwhelemed at first becasue it was a BIG project but once we actuallly got started it turned out to be pretty fun.

Lectures are very interesting--he knows a lot of random things. What he teaches in his classes is relevant. Does not have a lot of homework--class grades are mostly determined by tests/quizzes and projects. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIS CLASSES!!

I found that this class was the only class I was truly interested in out of all the classes I took this sememster Fall'09. I highly anticipated the discussions we might have and didn't want to miss out on it. It is rare for me to like a class this much so I was very impressed.

Overall- very impressed with the amount of knowledge that can be obtained from this class- even though your not dealing with the textbook much/ the hands on experiance and teaching was great!

Very fun class. Teacher was very fun and laid back. I enjoyed this class very much.

Cristal Clear instructions. I do think this class could be split into 2 sections. One for actual bar/beverage service, and another for wine/spirits apreciation. Wine tastings were valuable but could be expanded to a full semester and the bar/beverage service could teach more on the operations of a bar.

Always has interesting stories and experiences, that's where I learn the most and that's why I go to class.

Dipra's real life examples goes hand in hand with his lectures, althought attendance not reguired, being in class everyday makes the textbook easier to understand.
