Dipra Jha's HBM 280 class is amazing. Jha focuses on helping you make connections with large hospitality corporations and individuals and I currently am talking to two highly influential people in the field. He is more than just a professor, he is an enthusiastic and inspirational individual who I hope to remain close with for years to come.

Dipra was an amazing professor. Hands down one of my favorite classes taken here at Washington State University. He usually never lectured and always cared about his students. Homework was extremely detailed with instructions and Dipra always replied fairly quickly through email. He is amazing!

Prof. Dipra was one of my favorite professors, I learned a lot from his class and highly recommend y'all take his class. He is super nice, always responds emails, he doesn't give a lot of heavy work, instead of all the hard work, he provided more encouragement for us to be creative. He' super friendly, polite, formal, he dresses up all the time.

I liked professor Jha a lot. He is probably one of my favorite teachers that i have had. With all classes moving to online due to COVID he was very understanding if you had to turn in something late or other issues. He was fast at grading assignments and was never to hard on grading but enough to where we would still learn for what we did wrong.

Jha is an amazing professor. I can leave it at that. His lectures actually make me want to attend class and are all extremely informative and also very interesting! HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking any class he instructs! He respects his students and actually cares about them.

Dipra is THE BEST!! He is very passionate about what he teaches. The course is engaging with lots of guest speakers. Assignments are fun and easy. As a student, I felt respected and was always encouraged to do my best. Could not recommend a professor more!

Dr. Jha is by far the most impactful professor I have ever met. I have gotten so much out of this class than just three credits; he has connected me with amazing business leaders, I met the general manager of a luxury hotel, he has opened me up to possible summer internships. He is such a caring person who truly loves to teach and is passionate.

Professor Jha has been one of my favorite professors so far! The speakers he has brought in for lectures have been amazing and very eye opening into leadership and the work force. Grading and criteria are always clearly listed and I appreciate that he sends weekly updates for what is ahead for that week. I would highly recommend taking his classes.

Professor Dipra is caring and humorous. If you follow his steps, you will learn a lot about leadership. And what my favorite part is the guest speakers presentation which is really beneficial for this class.

Jha only holds zoom meetings on one day a week and therefore you work on other assignments for class during days when there's no zoom. This allowed me to stay on top of the assignments which mind you are very beneficial for anyone going into the Hospitality industry. Many guest speakers gave us the opportunity to learn from them. Readings are easy.

Almost weekly guest lectures, very few actual lectures, and a few papers. There are two presentations you have to do. Discussion posts almost every week, but are not hard. Very understanding and awesome!!

Professor Jha is the best! He is so funny and always wears fun bowties! He really cares about his students. This class is super applicable to careers, even if is not in hospitality. If he could teach every HBM class I would love that! He is so funny and wants to make sure we are all doing well in school and in our personal life!

Dipra is by far the most amazing professor I've ever had!! I enjoyed his class so much because he kept class very interesting and students were always engaged. He was also very caring and genuinely wanted students to succeed and supported them in any way in order to do so.

I was in both his 381 and 250 this semester. Attend his lectures not for your grade, but make amazing connections throughout the hospitality industry. Grade is based on 2 major papers and some smaller writing assignments (no exams). Pro tip: if you take 2 of his courses at once all your major papers are guaranteed to be due the same day.

I enjoyed the class discussion and I learned so much from the class. Good and organized supporting materials for the lessons being taught.

Professor Dipra Jha's lectures were really engaging. I appreciated him opening up with the question, "what have you learned?" This allowed the students to share their own experiences and made the lecture be a group discussion rather than a slideshow presentation. Professor was very knowledgeable with real world examples and this was wonderful.

Dr. Jha's lectures were well attended for good reason: from week 1 forward there was a high degree of positive interaction based on sincere encouragement for all to discuss what we've gleaned throughout. Although difficult for everyone to chime in at once, the climate itself was notably welcoming and thus provided exciting & refreshing engagement!

Overall my favorite teacher! The class is super easy and along with that you are still learning so much. His teaching style is awesome and super engaging. Definitely recommend taking this class with this teacher!!!

This has been one of the most valuable courses that I have taken as a hospitality major so far. Professor Jha has so much knowledge about the industry and shares it in his incredible lectures, and he also brings in so many brilliant guest speakers to give lectures. The workload is easy; there are only a few projects to complete during the semester.

If you take Professor Jha's class you can rest assure that you have a better understanding about international business and leadership which I think is better than just reading the book. He is giving his class a real life experience by bringing guests speakers from different part of the world. I wish he can teach all level of inter. business class.

Professor Jha has made HBM 280 my favorite class. This class is a great networking class because the Professor has so many great connections in the Hospitality industry. His real-world experience was very interesting and compelling, proving just how important culture is in international business. I took his online class last semester. He had a great network with professors in many countries. He tried his best to make online classes less boring. He was an experience travelers and international professor. His IBUS 280 was not reading intensive but participation matters.

This class was super easy and the professor was amazing! Great lectures that were very informal and engaging. The homework is really simple. I liked that the homework was available way before the due date. I was able to jump ahead! Overall, this class is an easy A!

HBM 280 with Prof. Jha was super easy! I ended with a 100 and have nothing but amazing things to say about both the class and Prof Jha. The class had lectures, one small paper, two 4 page papers, and other very small assignments. Everything was super easy to do and the information I learned in this class was super beneficial.

This was a great course. The assignments were clearly outlined, and Professor Jha had multiple real-life experiences that added value to lectures. Class is easy to pass as long as you submit assignments on time.

Dipra was a great professor. Lectures were online once a week. As long as you show up and submit your discussion posts you will get an A. I overslept for my final presentation and he allowed me to make it up. The class was super interesting and Dipra was a big part of that. Would recommend this class to everyone.

Classes were online and only held once a week. Each class was over zoom and had other universities from around the world participate. We usually would listen to a guest speaker, business professional, and then ask questions. I recommend everyone take this class, it was really fun.

Profesor Jha is defiently one of my favorite professors. I had him now twice: once for IBUS 280 and once for HBM 496. Both classes were super engaging classes. Profesor Jha brings humor and interesting facts to each of hsi lectures. 10/10 would take a class with him again.

This was a faculty led study abroad trip. Was a business class for credit on a week trip to visit the amazing world of Dubai. He has a lot of knowledge and experience about HMB, Ibus and the world overall so I recommend you take his class and take every opportunity to speak/ hear from him. While attendance is not mandatory, if you want to do well you should go.

The course involved a lot of reading, but the selections were well-chosen. Assignment workload was fair, and assignments were relevant. Lectures were more of an open discussion. I really enjoyed them, but they might have been better with a smaller group or in person. You get out of it what you put into it.

This time, I went to the UAE study abroad program during Spring Break and if you're considering it, I highly recommend it. It is available to all majors, not just HBM majors. HBM 496 is a study abroad class. We went to Dubai and had an amazing week. We had industry visit, workshops from local professors, and lectures about culture and history from Professor Jha. Although it was 14.5 hours flight, it definitely worth it. I would recommend all students, especially the ones with hospitality major, to participate.

Professor Jha was inspirational and created a unique and amazing experience for my HBM 496 class to Dubai. I really highly recommend everyone to take this class because it is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity led by a great Professor.

Best professor to study abroad with in Dubai! Dipra plans a very well rounded trip with some crazy experiences. Leading up to the trip you will have zoom meeting every few weeks. Not mandatory meeting but definitely recommend watching the recording so you are prepared for the trip. The only assignment is a paper answering a some prompts. Very easy!

Professor Jha was a fantastic professor. He is very knowledgeable in his field. He also is very willing to help/guide any student who asks. He helped me land an internship for this summer (I am a freshman) which I am eternally grateful for. Additionally, his lectures are really informative and provide exposure to all areas of hospitality.

He is awesome! The class is mostly guest lectures that are super interesting and teach about the fundamentals of hospitality and tourism and lots of different job directions you can take. There are networking opportunities and the papers and presentations are very straightforward. Both presentations were on zoom. I'd take the class again.

Diverse teaching

Weekly lectures (once a week) were done by professors from all over the world discussing various topics. It was a super educational and engaging class with not much work.

If you do the work whenever you need to do it, and you put enough work on it you would get rewarded.

I would gladly take any classes with this teacher.

I really enjoyed this class. Professor Dipra was always understanding and easy to communicate with. His teaching and grading was very straight forward as long as you did your work you get the grade. There was no surprises of any sorts. If you had any concerns or knew if you may need an extension Dipra was understanding and communicated well

The professor really knows his tuff

Interesting lectures with strong class participation. Dr Jha is very well traveled, presents well, and takes a holistic approach to teaching International Business. He encourages students to contribute during class time and respects their viewpoints. His course is well structured, with a balance of case papers and a team project.

Learned and liked this class much more than I would have thought, all due to Prf. Jha. He had engaging and insightful discussions that tied to real world events. Highly recommend. Lots of supplemental readings but they all tied to great case studies.

Prof. Jha is one of the best professor's I have EVER encountered. He not only cares about the growth and development of his students but also cares about his own; when he improves, future student outcomes improve also. That's incredibly respectable and something you don't see everyday. He is a model for which all professors should take notes from.

Dr. Jha brings valuable insights from his international hospitality experience. His lectures are engaging, allowing time for meaningful discussions. The coursework can be demanding, especially with team assignments and case briefs, but the heavy workload is more due to the compressed timeline than the assignments themselves.

One of my favorite teachers I have had! Light hearted and welcoming environment, making it fun and simple to be and stay engaged. Discuss daily events and news updates often and international business topics were always recent and relatable. Accommodating and helpful, really cares.Very fun teacher and class!

Super fun class. Dipra is an amazing professor, and he really cares for his students. Main homework assignments are just discussion posts, so be present in class and guest lectures to be able to complete the assignments. He's very helpful and understanding, reach out and engage to get the most out of this class.

Dipra is truly one of the best professors at WSU. His industry knowledge & expertise are unmatched, and the guest speakers he brought in were always so insightful and engaging. You can tell he is a professor who genuinely cares about the professional success of his students. This class left me feeling so inspired, and I couldn't recommend it more.

Dipra Jha is hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgable, cares about each of his students, and has a way of making each class interesting, engaging, and fun! This is first course I take with professor Dipra HBM 401 and he's super duper nice and kind. I really enjoy his class and also I'd say take a chance to have conversation with him about career because he give lots of advice and good suggestion. I highly recommend take his class and I'd like take another class with him again!

Professor Jha is in my opinion WSU's most fabulous professor. He has the most useful and inspiring classes, all of the class materials, projects and assignments are so practical and I learned valuable things from everything he assigned. I walked away with new and valuable knowledge about myself and my future from each assignment and discussion.

He is great! Has the coolest stories from Hospitality experiences and is very inspiring for students in the HBM college. Highly recommend all of his classes!

Super helpful with work if you have questions, but most work if any is simple and at a low quantity. His lectures actually have guest speakers that are relevant and his assignments are short and are all about preparing your LinkedIn, Resume, and other aspects of your professional career.

Dipra was extremely helpful and accessible - he is a professor that genuinely cares about the wellbeing of his students and their future. Dipra was extremely personable and professional, which has been great prep into going into the professional workforce. I would absolutely take Dipra again and I am so grateful to know and learn from him!

I wish this course was offered in person, it was held over zoom because there weren't any campus space available apparently. Dipra made the most of the zoom and his lectures, he didn't record attendance because its on you to show up and take the opportunities he hands out. He is very resourceful and only wants success for his students.

Dipra Jha is a great Professor. He is engaged in the class and wants the class to be engaged with him. He is very accessible outside of class and is a great resource for anyone who is in need of making connections or looking for internships.

Professor Dipra is one of my favorite professors at WSU. He always tries his best to help in class or outside. This class was supposed to be in person, but we switched to online. He helped with my resume, met with me about internships, and always gives great advice. He's chill, kind, and has strong connections—I'd definitely take his class again.

Professor Dipra Jha is very sweet and helpful; he wants you to succeed and will do what he can to assure that. Having conversations with him outside of class is just as wonderful and enlightening.
