Tito Litong is holding it down! Very easy, very friendly, knows his stuff, and takes time to explain. Would recommend to anyone!

Prof. Litong is probably what I'd describe as the best Math Teacher I Have Ever Had. Helpful, and clear, always answers question, and has the most well-developed sence of honor, and professionalism.

He is the best professor that I have ever had! He is patient, knowledgeable, caring, and he is sent to help all students with the help of God!

Excellent professor. Very patient and kind. Will thoroughly explain anything you don't understand. Refreshes you on things you may have forgotten or never learned in college algebra/trig. Makes his exams as fundamentally basic as possible. Just keep up with your homework, ask questions about problems you don't understand, and you will do well.

he is a good teacher but his test are hard. u have for the test alot i made a c. he dont like to give curve plus he dont care whether the whole class fail or not but he is not easy what ever he teaches he suppoese to test on that but his test totaly differnt what he taught

Currently, taking him in the winter session and hes cool and nice, but found some of his test difficult. Maybe if I actually had more time to study it would be ok. He explains everything detailed, but math is not my subject so I still have to study, but I might take him again! I dunno

hes a great teacher. i plan to take him all the way up to 1325. if you really want to learn the material he is the guy. all you have to do is show that you are willing to learn. i hate math he is the first B i have ever made in math and that includes high school. i accually learned something in his class.

Professor Litong is an excellent instructor. I took his class during the first summer session and enjoyed it immensely. He was very helpful. His test can be difficult if you don't do your homework. He helped me with the geography section of Intro Algebra which I knew nothing about. My final grade was an A. I highly recommend him!

i took him for finite....hes a good teacher....just make sure u do the homework and you will be okay.

Do the homework, ask questions and this class won't be 2 hard. He will take the time to explain things. He's interesting, kind of funny. I would definitely take another course from him. Tests not the easiest but they r generated from the textbook's program. I made an A with room to spare and I wasn't even slightly interested in the material.

He is honestly one of the best teachers in the whole system. He teaches Math and makes you actually understand it. He's always there if you need extra help or have to reschedule tests. If you want to actually learn some math that will help you with your future career, go to him. He always tries to help his students, even with scholarships. Amazing.

Hey! what you guys wrote about him are very true. He is the most cool, helpful and nice professor. However, don't take his Calculus 1 or 2. Because, I think he just started to teach those. So choose another 1. But for precals and college algebra etc, I think he rocks

I took him for the summer. He was pretty coo. Really knows how to break downt things so you understand. You must do hw if you want a B. I didn't but I paid attention in class so I got a C

Took this class online. Emails like every other day. Work is all in MyMathLab except 4 major exams in person. Homework has unlimited tries to get it right. Exams are kind of hard, but he does include formula sheets and provides reviews beforehand with the exact types of questions that will be on there. Tip: Watch the video lectures in MyMathLab.

Prof Litong is great! He explains things several times to make sure you understand him. He is very organized and courteous. He has a sense of humor and makes class fun. If you have a hard time w/ Math he is a good teacher as long as you make an effort and do the assignments.

Mr. Litong is very funny. He keeps your attention and has a true interest in students comprehension of the material. Homework grade can sub for your lowest test grade. He gives you plenty of time to complete homework and quizzes. Take him for this course.

He is a great teacher! I loved his class and would still be taking him if he was still teaching remedial math. I HIGHLY recommend him! My lowest score in his class was an 80 and he drops your lowest grade. He is very helpful! Do the homework and pay attention and you will make an easy A!

If you want to learn take him, he is very nice professor, his test are tricky but if you do homework, you will make B in his all test. He doesnt give any review before test so if you really like and want to learn take him.

I highly recommend anyone to take his class. He's funny, easy, and helpful. YOu can make up your missing test whenever you can, and you just need to do homework for testing. Easy to get A... I studied him in spring semester with 4 my friends and all is A. Great teacher!!!

Had him for Calc 1, great teacher. Always made sure to show you a couple different ways to do a problem. When answering questions, he would always ensure his response satisfied the class. Graded fairly. With him: go to class, do the sample problems, ask about any problem you had difficulty with and you will easily pass.

Online class - great communication from professor, including deadline warnings (great for those of us with memory problems). Exams covered all the material but were not long just for the sake of length. He was very helpful when something in the book or on the CourseCompass site was particularly hard. I enjoyed it.

Prof Litong is absolutely awesome!! Math has never been my best subject, EVER!! My first sem at HCC I had to take Math 0308 and OMG failed horribly with another professor, I thought I would never survive. The next sem after that I had Prof. Litong and he made sense of it all. Fr then on til MATH1314 I made A's he made me actually enjoy math.

Great professor. I took for Calculus, he always worked out plenty of examples. Very positive attitude. The only thing I would suggest is that you have a general grasp on the subject before you attend the class. Otherwise it can be a little hard to understand what he is doing because the instruction can go fast.

BEST PROFESSOR ALIVE....! Im serious, He is the best. He makes sure you really understand the subject. His classes are not boring cause he's a funny guy! I really had fun and I learned a lot HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

4 Tests and a final. Print out homework's grades will replace one test. Moves quickly and in-depth. Mandatory that you do your book homework to do well on test. Review usually resemble the test exactly. Overall a good professor, just has some teaching flaws, but overall I recommend him. Walked out with an A in calculus.

Great professor keeps his students updated with e-mails. Easy class, just do the homework assignments and follow his instructions. I took the online class and the review he gives a week before the exam reflects the tests. Easy, 4 tests drops lowest test and replaces with HW grade. Excellent teacher definitely recommend to learn pre-cal.

I highly recommend Professor Litong. I took his Trigonometry class online, but he was more than willing to help me in-person. He makes things very easy to understand and really wants to make sure his students are learning. He also offers bonus points for the tests. He's a really great guy and I'll be taking his classes again in the future.

took Sum '10 online. He's a great, very helpful teacher! I overloaded myself this summer & explained situation to him, and he helped me out & I ended up getting an A! I've taken multiple math classes with Professor Litong online, and he's a VERY involved professor, sending several emails a week and bonus opportunities. He makes himself available in-person if you have any questions. He's extremely friendly, understanding, and helpful. I've made an A+ in all of his classes. Replaces your lowest test grade with hw.

Excellent professor! Class is hard, but he is very responsive to his online class and maintains a lot of contact. Responds to questions, gives explanations and offers extra credit. The exams are hard, but he will do everything he can to help you understand the material. Took him for PreCal and Calculus; wish I could take him for Calculus 2.

Professor Domingo Litong is by far the most excellent math teacher I have ever had. He cares so much about his students and makes sure they succeed. Remember, the student-teacher relationship is a two way street! You have to put in the effort as well! I will definitely recommend him to anyone taking advanced math classes!

He is one of the best math teachers in Hccs. I took his online class. You need to study the book and do the homework. Exams are good but if you want to get 100 you have to study. He always responds to you and does whatever he can to help you. I will definitely recommend this teacher to my friends. one more tip always watch the update on blackboard!

Professor is a very good teacher! He is willing to go over material for review until you understand; but you need to speak up! If you don't let him know you are not understanding, he will just move along. Don't buy the texts!!! Everything is online! It is the first thing he will tell you; you don't need the text.

Good professor. Very helpful. Tougher because he prepares you for college algebra.If you need more math take him BUT if this is the last math you need DONT. Look for study guide on other math teachers sites his is not as precise.He drops lowest test score and replaces it with that.Do not take math in summer terms if your not strong in math!

Easy as one could never imagine. Tests were pretty much same as the review, sometimes even the values were same. This was an online class, homework was unlimited tries. Very nice to me, easy going guy. Even extended reviews because of lazy students. I definitely recommend him, though I know he doesn't allow graphing calculator on his calc tests

He was very inspiring to me. He also had a great sense of humor. When I saw him I thought he was going to have a very strong accent (Oh God!), but he didn't. He was very clear. He tutors after almost every class.

His reviews are very very similar to his tests. 3 tests and a final + homework grade = final grade.he has a good sense of humor and he is very helpful. He gives away bonus points all the time.

Overall, Mr. Litong is extremely helpful, and as long as you do your homework assignment, you'll do very well in the tests. I peronally felt the homework was harder than the actual tests themselves. The only thing I didn't like was the fact that he does not offer online testing on Sundays.

Took his online class. You pretty much have to teach yourself. The professor will answer your questions but dont take this class if you dont plan on putting in lots of study time. Lots of homework. Tests were like homework but still required studying. No notes or graphing calculators at test sites. If you arent dedicated you wont do well with him

Nice prof but makes you take exams in person DT only on Saturdays. It is called distance education for a reason! Doesn't explain things well. Will probably end up having to take class again.

Took this class during summer 1 on campus & really enjoyed it. Do the homework and reviews for the test, and you should be good. Stats isn't my favorite subject, anything math related, actually & it's not an easy class, but he's very nice and helpful. I recommend him!

This is my second time taking a class with Mr. Litong, and again I am blown away by the quality of his class. He is very friendly and approachable, so he will take an interest in you if you take the first step. He has personally helped me a lot in trig and pre-cal over two semesters, and I couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Highly recommend!

Be honest with you when you decide to rate your instructor. that is the best math instructor of HCC. I got 57 on my first test because my foundation from calc1 was poor, but I have worked hard and I got A on my last test. Maybe you want an easy A. don't take him, but if you really want to know and understand math, I recommend him to you

i am taking cal 2414 right now. even i dont make an A for this class but he is a helpful teacher for sure. if you want to be engineer, all you have to do is study, if you come to class and expect to get an easy A, that just makes a stupid engineer in the future. Be honest, he is really helpful, will answer all your questions and teach with heart.

Mr. Litong is a nice professor. He grade fair for everybody. Those people who made such bad comment about him are 100% lazy and did not put enough effort to learn Calculus 2. It is Calculus 2 and not college algebra. It suppose to be hard. Those thing he taught is very simple and also on the test. You do not need to be smart to understand it.

Even though I will probably make an A in his class, it will only be because of my own efforts. This professor is really hard, and only those who have the time to study can take him. I had to teach myself and get the help of some other people as well. If you are looking to keep your GPA high, then do not take this professor.

Litong is a hard professor and a tough grader. Also, the fact that this is an online class makes it worse. Please take Precal and all higher math courses on campus instead of online.

A little hard to understand in person but through messaging its fine. He's very dedicated. He has tutoring at least two days a week but I didn't need it.

I horribly feared Cal 1 but got a 99 total, (I worked very hard). This prof really cares about each student: has a forum, emails the class often, responds to emails and forum ?s quickly. Has extra credit assignments that he grades by hand w/ feedback!! Hard class but VERY DEDICATED teacher! Thank you Mr L for taking Cal 1 off of my list of fears!

He has a strong accent, but I'm an international student and I could still understand him well. He is really clear and very detail on the problems, which helped me a lot in building up a strong base. If you lost you basic math, come to him. I would recommend him and definitely taking him for my next class. (I'm ok at Math)

Tough! A day did not go by without me wishing it would end. If you enjoy a challenge and really want to learn, enroll in Mr. L's classes. Otherwise - be average, save your money and you'll be working for me some day. Good Luck!

He stays on top of his e-mail so you can usually get a quick answer to a question. Don't expect recorded lectures etc for his online course. Do your homework, e-mail questions, and you will be successful in his class. As a person, he made an impression on me, to the point I've changed my schedule so I can take his 2414 in person. That's rare.

He's helpful and always there if you need him. Tests are not hard, just do reviews and homework. Still, cal is hard so you need to put effort. Our class was little rush in the end of semester. Will take him again.

He is a great professor, offers alot of extra credit & his powerpoints are very clear, so it's the easiest thing in the world to get the grade u want. Also he is such a nice person & really cares about you and will help you in every possible way. I truly recomend taking him i will for sure re take him any chance i get for my future calculus classes

What a great professor. Communicates with students very well. He really does care if you understand the material. This subject was brutal for me, but he made it tolerable.

I'm not good at math but his explanations were great! I took his online summer class. He responds quick and communicates with the students very well. You do have to go in for ALL tests to be proctored. As long as you do the homework (which is not much) and read the forum you will be fine.

Online class. Cal 1 is hard. If you are dedicated and willing to do the hw, you will succeed. What i didn't realize is how much HW is required. But, as the professor said, learning math is doing math. Expect a lot of problems, but in doing them, you will learn.

He breaks down everything for you to the simplest level, but also expects you to simplify each answer in the test to a point where they can't be further simplified. Most professor teach you concepts using 1 or 2 simple examples and assign hard ones on HW and Tests. He actually solves all the tough ones in class and asks them ones on tests, too.

He really cares that you understand his lectures and the homework. Tests are hard - it's calculus anyway, but he is not strict at grading - very flexible - for your own grades. Text book not required. His power-point slides and homework on web-assign are enough to for the exam reviews and practice. If you want A, hard-working required.

I took him online and he communicates with us everyday, he gives problems for extra points on the exams, one bad test can be replaced with the overall HW grade if the HW grade is higher. His lecture notes are good. He is a good teacher, His tests are okay, might be a little bit hard if you don't study. Final exam is easier than all the exams.

Professor Litong is a wonderful professor. He explains the content well but his exams are not easy. You are not getting an A if you do not deserve it. Calculus 2 was probably the hardest class with Professor Litong but I am definitely taking him for Calculus 3

I took his cal 1 &2, A in both. He curves grades basing on students in class's ability. If you work hard enough, grade A is possible. He explains every problems asked. If you eager to work hard to understand lectures and earn high grades, take him :)

Cal2 summer online. Working 40 hpw and still got an A so its possible but hard. Offers a TON of extra credit that students compete for. Prof is very kind and truly cares about students. He is foreign but his English is top notch. Only take him if you are serious about learning the material. I don't recommend for students who are below avg at math.

MR . LITONG IS A VERY NICE AND HELPFUL PROFESSOR. HIS CLASS IS EASY AND TESTS ARE EASY IF YOU DO HIS REVIEWS . HOME WORKS IS NO TOO MUCH BUT NEEDS SOME WORK . HE HELPS A LOT AND GIVE CHANCES TO HIS STUDENTS .

Professor Litong is absolutely one of the best professors of HCC. He is always patient, even you ask a question he has just covered. He encourages everyone to ask the question in the class. Extra credit in all the tests. Four quizze and one final. HW replaces the lowest quiz. Take him if you really want to learn and prepare for your future study.

Even though the class was online, you can tell the professor gave an effort to bridge the gap. He does give extra credit for answering certain math problems throughout the course and is open for discussion about our work. The class consisted of 3 exams and a comprehensive final. He does give reviews and most of the work is done through My Lab.

This class is difficult (tests are free response) & sometimes I find concepts aren't explained COMPLETELY clear (but that's probably bc math is NOT my forte), but he has my respect. You can tell he actually cares about his students. He offers extra credit opportunities, & he allowed late submission on HW, because all he wants is students to learn.

12 week course was a cram but i got through it with a good grade, the lecture were fun and I wish would've taken the 16 week instead to go more in depth with the units.

I love this professor! He is very engaging with his students and his lectures keep you engaged. He offers extra credit throughout the whole year. Will be taking this professor again for Calc 3!

This professor made me love mathematics. I ended the semester with 1 point away from a B. It is unfortunate that he didn't round up. He cares a lot about his students and everything he does is for you to learn. Use him well, ask him questions in class and do the hw. 3 unit tests and one final. Lowest exam can be replaced by homework.

I took Litong for Cal 2 & 3, got an A and B. He CARES a lot for his students. He is very reasonable. I also was his TA for PreCal, I learned so much! Wish I had him for ALL my math courses. Lots of HW, for exams DO the reviews. Take him if you are ready to work hard and honestly. You won't regret taking him, by far one of the best prof I ever had!

Gives LOTS of extra credit and overall homework grade replaces a low exam grade. Will go over any question/problem that you have from the previous homework if asked. Sometimes lesson can go by very slow or very fast.

He sure does give a lot of homework but his tests are easy and not a very tough grader... you can easily get good grades if you study. And he gives a lot of bonus points opportunities.

Will go over any previous homework problems. Lectures go very fast but there's a lot that he needs to cover for exams. There is a lot of homework but it will be your best friend. Total homework grade replaces one low exam grades. Lots of extra credit but they're first come first served unless you can solve the problem differently.

I took Prof Domingo for precalc, and I'm now a sophomore taking Calc 3. Dr Domingo is a great professor. He is caring and understanding, but do not expect anything to be given to you. Do not take his classes if you want to get away by doing the minimum. This man will make you learn and work hard. He transmitted me his love for the subject.

Prof Litong is a very reasonable instructor. I took his online Calc 2 section and it required a lot of self motivation, but he was extremely reachable and able to provide feedback whenever requested. In general, students who dislike him are students who had expected an easy class with minimal work. It's a tough subject, but he makes it manageable.

I took his online class. Honestly, I had difficult time focusing on his lectures but doing homework and reviewing it before exam can help a lot. He is very strict with his class and exam. The exam was on lockdown browser and we were on Webex all the time. The good thing about him was he gave us a lot of opportunity for extra-credit during class.

I took this class online and all the test and assignments were on ALEKS. The test are proctored and timed and you have to submit your scratch paper on canvas. The work is not too bad but the quizzes barely match the assignments. If you know you can do math then I'd say its a safe choice but if not then you might struggle in tests.

I think Prof. Litong comes off more strict than he actually is. Day 1 he told us no formula sheets, but we had formula sheets for every exam. Other reviews mention no partial credit, but he does give partial credit if work is shown. It is a stressful class but he is not a bad professor, just need to study a lot. He is a great professor, but Calculus can sometimes be tough. About half the class dropped before Exam 2, but if you're ready to study, you should do fine. Prof. Litong really cared about teaching and treated students with respect. His exams could be challenging, but they were often worth 120–140 points, and he would grade them out of 100.

I took this course for the Summer online semester. This prof. cares but half of the class did drop and many failed. I knew smbdy w/ a different prof. and they did a lot worse because of the lack of material. This prof provided lots of resources that made it easy to learn, but you have to work hard. An A is achievable but a B or C is more realistic.

Professor Litong's lectures can be lengthy, but he compensates by going through deriving proofs for better understanding, going through practice problems, and sometimes a head start on homework

good professor. Hard class. there's extra credit on the exams and they are fairly simple. finals are hard and he raises your grade quite a bit at the end of the semester. Watch professor Leonard on YouTube and do the homework and that's a guaranteed B+, maybe A if you really work for it.
