He is excellent. He teaches in a manner that ANYONE can understand him. Very human compared to other teachers who have a stiffer sense of teaching. His class is easy because of the way he teaches and how the material makes sense. Hightly recommend him to everybody.

His class was great!! I admit it, I got a C, but Im the only one accountable for it! All you gotta do is study the reviews before each test. At the eand of the class we had a choice of either writing a big ass paper or juggling,Not only was I the first one to juggle, I also got like 5 Xtra credit points for helping peeps to juggle also!! Professor Brucato has to be my favorite College teacher so far. He not only teaches you something new and USEFUL everyday, but he makes everything interesting, funny, and he curses like a sailor. You'll look forward to going to his classes.

Really funny teacher and enthusiastic all the way throughout the course, i love him, the way he teaches is so capturing as everything ties with everyday situations, he says bad words to make you laugh and i love that about him, there is 4 tests, and two papers and the final exam is juggling...I reccommend this class for those psychology LOVERS, #1

Awesome guy and professor. E-mails his notes and study guides to every student. Use the study guides and if you don't get an A something is wrong with you. He tells you that this is his boring class but just get through it and then take his CLP class. The one paper you have to write is easily graded, if you take this class choose him!

this class is alright as long as you read the book and review the notes. you do have to juggle but just like any other class it just takes time to put into. i did not like the service learnin due to it just takin up too much time. you do have to meditate but just think of it as a 5 min nap. the lectures are pretty boring and will put you to sleep..

Fairly easy. Yes tests can be hard and also confusing reviews but the overall message out of the class is worth it. Even if you get C or D's on the tests you can still pass with a B or A by just doing all the other work. Where else will you find a teahcer that wil grade you on juggling?!

He is very helpful, lectures a lot but his lectures aren't boring. He keeps you interested. The book I recommend to buy it new because you get the CD with the powerpoints and practice tests. If you read the powerpoints, do his study guides, and do the practice test online, you'll ACE the class. You need to do your work to pass the class.

Excellent teacher...truly believes in what he represents (no smoky mirrors). very clear & fair with grading process. read the assigned chapters and there is no way you won't pass the class (bonus: learn how to juggle). Love him!!!

This class is hard but if u stick to his study guides u'll do just fine. his study guides are exactly the same to the test. and if u show up in class everyday he will give + 25 extracredit points which helps ALOT. And he makes his lectures a little bit funny

He's cool. He sends you a test review for each test through e-mail & if you don't miss any days he gives you 25 extra credit points. He's always willing to speak with you in his office & he responds fast to e-mails. I passed almost every test wtih a 'C" & still managed to pass the course with a "B". I recomend him. I took this guy for Psychology, and he's REALLY great. He's like this really cool, border-line nerdy dude. He makes the class SO interesting. He'll answer any questions you have. His tests are basically a carbon copy of the study guides. I'm also taking him for Human Growth and Development, independent studies, too. I def. recommend him. :)

Professor Brucato is an excellent proffesor, his class is not that hard and you actually learn a lot. His test are the same as his study guides, so if you review prior to them you'll pass with a good grade. I would definetley take him again if I have to. His class isnt easy, you need to read a chapter of about 40 pages a week, and take a quiz every week, plus response essays on top of that, and community service, and chapter test. His class is alot of work, but you do enjoy been in there. He is defintely not an "easy A" but i got an A but I read the entire book with about 400 pages!

Brucato is the worst psy prof. I ever had. This is the 1st class I had to drop. He is so boring cause all he does is read of the powerpoints. He gives multiple choice exams which are kind of tricky. He does not really give extra credit. You have to attend every class to understand the material. I recommend prof. Mignone!

virtual college. you need the book for the online course!! all you do is study about 4-6 chapters for each test and come in to take the test. there are about 4 test and the final is optional. extra credit points if you type/print out study guide. easy as long as you study the chapters! def. recommend

He attempts to be funny and sometimes doesn't do a great job but he knows what he's teaching and give you all the chances he can. Juggling is a must but its not impossible! Great prof, does require you to read everyday in order to do well on the quizzes but topics are all pretty much common sense. Very helpful, funny too. Makes the topic interesting. All in all highly recommended, only class I looked forward to during the day. (:

Be prepared to study. I make A's and B's in class but I struggled in this class. I barely made a C. His tests were extremely hard but it helps to study on the online website. He is extremely funny and makes class interesting. His language is very colorful at times so don't be surprised. Great guy, hard tests.

I had him for intro to psych my second semester last year. Excellent teacher! Explains everything very clearly. He's pretty strict on attendance, and you have to let him know ahead of time if you'll be leaving class early. Other than that, he's a laid back guy. Take him!

Okay, this class will be very easy to you if you read the book a couple times a week. Do not come to the tests with questions still lingering around. Great teacher, makes the class much more tolerable. You MUST read the book or you will not pass the tests, it's very easy to understand and has logical concepts and the subject is interesting. You have to learn how to juggle and I loved it, made it easy to make new friends. All in all the class is not difficult.

If you do not attend his classes, read the text book AT LEAST three times, and study the vocabulary, you won't pass the tests. He does not give quizs or assignments, just tests. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. It will help you.

Dr. Brucato is an amazing professor, with great insight and love for his job. He encourages self discipline, as he makes you take a quiz in the beginning of class and it's your responsibility to study and know the material. It is a very fun class. THE TEXTBOOK WILL HELP YOU. I didn't rent it and I struggled. Without the book, it's 10x more studying and 10x more note taking. I passed with a good grade because I worked my butt off. Dr. Brucatto clearly cares for the subject matter and the students. The course is an amazing blend of teaching the concepts and practical application. I did not agree with certain things that were discussed in class, but still found it intriguing. He was co-author for the book we used, so he gave good clarification of the book.

I took his class for Intro to Psy. Awesome professor. Funny. You get into every discussion. The Textbook is NEEDED. Dont wait. And the KEY to success is his study guides. Study guides. Do them. And dont miss any classes. If you dont miss any youll get an additional 30 points i believe it is at the end toward your final grade. Would recommend.

Best professor to take for psy2012. Lectures are super straight forward and it is very easy to pass his class unless you don't study. You need to do the reviews on the book in order to pass (6 tests total) & he gives extra credit for attendance. If you fail its because you don't care.

Excellent professor. I WILL learn a lot but only if you actually sit down and study the chapters everyday and do the study guide. The tests are tough about 50 multiple questions on a scantron, so prepare yourself for the big exams. no final. Just like 9 or 8 Exams that REALLY make up your final grade in class. Attendance also helps your grade!

Dr. Brucato is an understanding professor who will give you any help that you may need to pass his class. In return, he asks that you pay attention and try to be involved in class discussions. Brucato is a tough professor hes always smiling, a cool professor. Get ready to take about 10 tests and they are all really hard. Like I study and still fail some of them also his voice makes me fall asleep and his lectures are not on point he teaches you how to breathe and juggle when that's not important and you have to teach yourself.

This guy is a game changing professor, who gives you something much more valuable than any amount of money you will ever earn with the degree you get. If you listen, and try living what he teaches, amazing things will happen.

Absolutely loved this class/professor! He cares about his students, he encourages participation and his lectures are interesting. You MUST read to pass the quizzes and tests but they aren't hard. His lectures were interesting and filled with anecdotes from his life. Always had a smile on his face and was extremely knowledgeable about the material (he was a shrink for over 30 years!). Test are extremely easy if you do the study guides, which he sends two weeks before the exam. I loved this class and Im not even a Psych major. TAKE HIM!!

I don't understand how some are saying the tests are hard. If you felt this way, you DID NOT do the study guides, or maybe you just learned a bunch of definitions and expected to know the material. You def need to understand the material rather than just learning definitions, but his very interesting lectures helped tremendously. Take him!!

So knowledgeable and positive. He arrives with a smile every class. You do have to read and if you want an A , do the study guides, there's about 5-6 tests in the semester. Would take his class again in a heartbeat, he's an amazing lecturer and is available for anything you need. I aced his class with some work but it was 100% worth it.

IF YOU DON'T LIKE READING DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. The study guide only helps out a little but if you don't read that book and do the study guides you won't pass. He also gives you 30 extra points for attendance, only reason I passed with a B. He is nice and very understanding but too much time has to be put in this class that I don't really have.

Do the reviews and you'll be fine. His classes won't explicitly give you all you need to know for the tests. But beware, I couldn't find some questions of the reviews in the book and I had to Google them. All in all, he's very smart.

Professor Brucato is a great teacher. He explains all the lessons and will answer any questions you have. The class is not easy because you must read the chapters and complete the study guides if you want to pass the tests.

I don't understand why none would like this professor. Regardless that I pass the class with a C, honestly, his class system is perfect. He makes the class interesting and funny, I mean, he's not a boring professor. The study guide for the test is design with questions that if you answer them all you'll pass, so you learn at the same time.

Overall, Brucato is a wonderful human being. The world could use more people like him. He offers unique perspectives that have you think. Cons: Many quizzes (14) and tests (4); easy to get him off-topic; no real lectures. Pros: You barely do anything in-class; quizzes and tests are easy; you learn how to meditate. Recommended: Read the textbook.

I am currently taking Professor Bruacto for psy and am enjoying it! He is a kind person and makes his lectures funny and entertaining. If you want to pass the tests, just read the review he gives you for the tests and find the information in the textbook. You WILL pass by doing this.

Brucato is genuinely a great person. Hes so sweet and cares for you and your grade. Hes also very smart in subjects he teaches. There's a quiz almost every other class but they're super easy but you HAVE to read. The topics you read about are interesting so it isn't really a hassle.

5 tests, each worth the same amount of points. You have about 2-3 weeks in between each tests (depends on how many chapters are in a test) to complete the study guide and finish reading the chapters. The class is very simple psych material all you need is good time management!

I took CLP1006, and overall the professor has a true passion for psychology so because of that he makes the lectures interesting. be reware that you'll be taking 13 quizzes and 4 test, but as long as you are prepared and read the chapter you'll pass.

Great professor. Gives great lectures, and will go in-depth with the chapters. If you study the test reviews, you will definitely pass. Don't miss class and you get graded for that. No Homework.
