She's Awesome! 1 Warning; the book Sol y Viento SUCKS! All tests, quizzes & HW are made by the writers of the book-not her. She needs to tailor her lessons to be closer to what the standardized tests are on. But she's always willing to help; she's encouraging & sweet. She really cares about her students & remembers what it is like to be one.

I really liked her. I agree that the book sucks, but she thinks so too. She is fun and pretty laid back when it came to the online homework. If you stay focused you while be fine.

First of all i love Professor Hitchcock's accent. She is a wonderful teacher and great person. The class is very hard if spanish is new to you, but with her teaching style you will be fine. It is alot of work but things will slow down towards the end. The book is horrible just use it for vocab and study her handouts. Take her for Spanish.

Professor Hitchcock is one of my favorite professors at RCC. This teacher is so nice! As long as you put effort into learning the language, you will be fine! I had Dominique for French 1 & 2 and will definitely take her again for 3. She's really laid back and fun. She's also really cool because if you don't do some of your work, but you understand it perfectly without it, she'll count it as if you had done it all.

Really Fun class to be in. When speaking French she will tell you a little bit about life in France. She teaches French not Canadian-French. She is helpful, she has fun games for students to understand the words. It is an active class where students interact with each other.

I had french at 7am with professor Hitchcock. Even though the class was super early, she has great energy and attitude. Shes super nice and funny. She is very helpful and explains everything in detail and in ways that it is easy. I never felt lost in this class. She tells you exactly what to study. Listen, study the tex book and you'll get an A

I took Spanish 2 in the winter which is a extremely early & hard class. But to see her beautiful face every morning I would easily do it again in a hearbeat. Take this gorgeous teacher and you will thank me.

She is easily one of the best professors at RCC! I took her for both spanish classes back to back at 7am, and although it sucks to wake up; she actualy made the class fun. She is the only teacher for a foreign language that i've ever had who seemed to care wether or not we actually learned.

I had no knowledge of Spanish language at Day 1 of this class. It was a very helpful class and it was easy to understand and follow along. It was a great semester and I would definitely take her class again for SPA-2.

Doctor Hitchock is my favorite professor of the 73 units I've taken. (Yes, I'm a CC veteran) She pushes you pretty hard, so be prepared to work. If you really work, you will do fine. I took Señora Hitchcock during the winter session (really easy term) and would 100% recommend her! She genuinely cares about all her students and our academic and personal lives. She is clear, polite, and extremely helpful if you're struggling. Be prepared to read the book and maybe watch some Spanish tv to help you along the way.

There's not much HW, and it's all easy to do and you actually learn from it. Her class activities and HW are just like the tests. Study & you WILL learn. Nicest person ever!

I'd recommend this class if you have had French before. If not, you will probably find it very difficult. There is homework due every class day and workbooks due every test day. The tests in my opinion are not very hard and she offers a lot of extra credit. You need to show up for this class. She is very understanding of students' needs.

Prof Hitchcock is my all time favorite professor. Her lectures are broken down and super simple. She explains things in a way to connect them to what you already know. Her exams are straightforward and offer a lot of extra credit. Do the homework, its a huge part of your grade and will actually help you learn and understand.

I took a hybrid class so we had to do most of the work online, we always went over the lessons in class though. Shes amazing great professor that cares and helps you out when you dont understand something, and shes very patient. Shes very approachable and so nice! We always had fun in class. That semester my favorite class was Spanish.

I took Spanish 3 class right now in fall semester 2020 during covid. She is great, you will need to buy the book that comes with an online program where you do most of the work & test. She is welcoming and always open to help during office hours.

Professor Hitchcock was amazing!! I took her the fall of 2020. Everything was online, due to the current pandemic, but she handled it so well! She supported us and made sure we were clear on topics. all work is done online through the textbook. She is super sweet and gets to know you as well! She gave a lot of extra credit.

Professor Hitchcock is extremely supportive and caring towards her students. Even with classes being online, she is very accessible. She answers emails quickly and has frequent office hours. As long as you put in a decent amount of effort and pay attention, the class is an easy A.

I hadn't taken a Spanish class in two years and skipped Spanish 1, so I was worried about how this would go. She's a lovely lady and will help you with all the work if you ask. She does assign a lot of work every week, but Quizlet will be your best friend. I didn't refer to my textbook throughout the course but would recommend her to anyone.
