You may not like Danner on the first day, but you'll learn to like the guy! He's funny, has a sense of humor, and is a serial talker. His tests seem hard at first, but if you study you'll be just fine. His TA is hot so be sure to check him out as well.

HE is straight forward. Funny guy. Quizes are simple. The homework can be kind of a pain but not too bad. Very easy class. Gotta warn you though, the online quizes can be confusing, so make sure you talk to him about it.

Don is a very friendly and pleasant guy to listen to. He may seem odd at first, but he grows on you. His TA is nice as well. What should be an easy class is hindered by an old text book, but Don tries to make up for that. Tests are straightforward. I'd recommend him to anyone.

Great class, danner is funny and clear, his TA, Daniel helps in the lab and is also very clear (I don't know about Nils though). He uses a new book now so it's a lot more clear. I reccommend, for sure.

Danner changed this class up a lot! Everything is very clear, only a few hw assignments, lab is super easy. TA Daniel is very helpful in lab, quizzes are tricky, but easy, final is just a review of all the quizzes. Class gets recorded, but still come to lectures, it'll help! Danner is funny and very personable and likes talking to his students.

very cool teacher, if you have a problem then go talk to him in his office hours. i was a concurrent student and he stil let me in the class and when i found out i had to have surgery, and the tests n hw were between, he helps me alot. and i thought i was failing but in the end he gave me a c-... still pass. homework and test are really hard tho.

Danner is crazy but he's real and that is the best thing about him. Doesn't try to be something he's not, very honest. The HW assignments are hard the exams are hard but if you pay attention in lab and lecture, you'll get your c-.

Great teacher! Its a teach yourself kind of class, you dont have to go. Everything is online and the tests are exactly what the powerpoint and the book says. Study for the tests (4) and quizzes (4 in lab) and you do great. Do the hw. If you bring it to the office hrs they are very helpful. Interesting class to take and I'm not really into computers

His class is really easy! The cocept questions are kind of hard. But his excel exams are easy! So take his class, u won't have problem passing it.

Danner is a cool teacher...his 363 class is a lot of work, but if you do all the work you will get a good grade. The project is tough, make sure you have group members that do work and understand access. the homework takes up HOURS during the week. You learn a lot if you do the labs.

This class is a lot of work. Be prepared to have at least 3 assignments a week in this class. For quizes he uses the same questions as the practice ones so make sure to get all the answers before taking the quiz. Expect to do a lot of work and if you try you might be able to get the same grade as you did in 263.

Danner is a cool guy overall. The only thing about his class is there is a lot of assigments so be prepared to work. Most of them are easy for the most part, so just do all the required work and the class is a breeze. His tests are easy-everything is exactly the same from the practice tests. For our class he cut alot of corners to help us all out

hes a cool teacher but gives a lot of work. every week theres something due or a test or something. the excel and access assignments are difficult, but he'll help you if you go to his office hours. practice tests are what exactly is on the exams.

Great professor, he made the class fun and interesting. He tends to wander a bit in his lectures, but he focuses on the points you are going to need. He does require a lot of work, but he tells you he does. My advice, take the practice tests, don't wait until the end to do your group project, and get on the individual assignments early.

Mr.D is mega cool! The skinny;its a good deal of work, online assignments, group project, individual Excel/Access assignments, discussion forums. Key to success stay on top of the work load pick good teammates for project & study the parctise exams online inclass exams are straight from practise. Night class is awesome small class highly recommend!

Danner is a good guy and really funny. Ask him about his cats and he will tell you all about them. Interested in helping out students with their own projects. Know how to work SAM tests (multiple tries and skip questions trick)

Danner is awesome and funny. He is really starting to listen to his students and wants the class to help you. A changed man. Mean sometimes to students but oh well toughen up kids.

The "hard" level grade was for the amt. of work. I like Danner but beware taking his class... This class is filled with a lot of busy work which, quite frankly, allowed me to learn nothing I'm going to retain or use later. Heavy workload but not impossible. Unlike the person a few posts down thinks, I was also taking DS412, BUS 682, and Three finance classes along with this one--my grades did not suffer anywhere. With this class you just have to keep in mind that something is always due.

263 is about computer culture,excel&webpage making.It's not hard if u study!3 quizz based on review exampls which he gives.Some online HW&quiz.But as u know,excel is complicated stuff.

It's really hard to rate Professor Danner because I took his online ISYS 263 course. The syllabus and material were straightforward and clear. The assignments and tests weren't hard, but you do apply what you've learned. Professor Danner did reply to all my e-mails, so he is timely and helpful in that regard. I recommend taking this class online.

Don is a good teacher. His personality is a little abrasive at first. Just get over this because he means well. My only knock is that Don begrudgingly helps you. Study the pretests religiously. Start on the individual assignments early. They are the hardest part of the course, and the place where you will learn the most.

Ok class. A lot of work but it is doable. There is something due every class meeting. Took the class during summer. Work hard and you will get an A. You will master excel and access. Individual assignments are hard but again doable. Read the books for quizzes and finals. Take the practice exams. I liked the class overall just be committed to it.

He is great. A lot of people complain about him. I don't see a need for complaining. Just go to class and do what he asks, individual excel and access assignments, do MyItlab, and read the book for quizzes and tests,take practice exams and that's it. Group project can be hard but take control and do things on time. I followed these rules and got A.

"Don-Don Danner" made this class interesting. I recommend taking his class. Quizzes are str8 from the book, so reading is a must to receive an "A." Not difficult class at all...........

Professor Danner class is interesting with lots of reading but if you keep up and do your MyitLabs and group project you will pass. The myitlabs is online and you get unlimited tries so there's no reason not to get an A on the MyITlab. There are online practice quiz and tests which you can take 10 times and the grade won't count against you.

Prof Danner is a genuine person. He is generous grader and very flexible with due dates. His lectures are entertaining, but don't always follow the book 100%. Do the work, go to class, and show that you're interested and its not hard to do well in his class.

There is a lot of work in this class. Danner seems like a weird guy but he has a good sense of humor. He really wants students to succeed and will provide you the tools to do so. I would recommend taking the actual class instead of the online one since it will be better for you to actually meet up with your group mates and get work done.

About 4 quizzes all of which were online and taken at home. 15-page report about networking topic of your choice. 20 minute class presentation. The class was very relaxed and the prof was pretty funny. It seems like a lot of work but overall, it was a pretty easy class as long as you do well on quizzes and complete everything.

Completely online course. 5 Excel assignments, 2 Excel tests. ~14 homework assignments, and ~3-4 textbook tests. Really easy class, I always got a high A in the hw assignments and textbook tests. I just hated the excel website b/c one can create the same result using a different method but the site only wants their methods

He does seem eccentric at first, but he is genuinely a good teacher! Lectures are pretty useless (but fun!) The tests come 100% from the book, although he does screen the test bank down. The only way to get an A in this class is if you print out all the practice tests and look for the right answer and memorize them. The Individual Excel is HARD!

Is honestly the most accommodating professor at SFSU. He has spread out the work so if you don't do well on tests you can make it up another way or visa versa. He actually has discussions with you instead of lecturing. Would take him again, seriously I don't like the subject but he makes it interesting and applies it to our world. Loves cats

He is not the easiest of teachers, but certainly one of the most entertaining. His office hours are very accommodating and he enjoys helping students during that time (even if he denies it). I would recommend taking his class, but be aware that there is A LOT of work to be done. There is pretty much something due every class.

Easiest A of my entire college career. Who cares if the professor isn't helpful, you shouldn't need much help with this class, it's pretty much self explanatory. And he has over 700 students in his online course, so of course he can't help with every single little glitch. This class was a breeze.

Had this teacher for ISYS. He posted a weekly letter on iLearn and would email it to everyone. Everything was very self explanatory and easy. The class is only hard if you don't know how to read...

Good professor. Lectures are dry, but he only talks about what we need to know for his class. Secret to doing well in this class...look at his website, he has practice exams for all the chapters. This was very helpful for the final (only because I realized he had the practice exams there).

Danner is the man! Class is not that hard but it is a lot of work. As long as you do the homework, and put in the work, he will make sure you get the grade you want.

He is the most understanding professor on campus. He really wants you to succeed and will help you whenever you need it. He also will bump up your grade a little if your close to a higher grade which was really helpful.

For an online course, this class was pretty straight-forward. There were quite a # of materials you needed to buy, but Danner tried his best to minimize costs. He put a lot into his weekly emails to ensure we all stayed on track. He sticks to his word, doesn't tolerate excuses. He is very eccentric, but all around good prof. You earn your grade.

Very easy course, he lays out everything you need to do and the dates the assignments are due. It's confusing at first, and a bit overwhelming, but you get used to it quickly. Best teacher for this course. Google answers to final, minute per question on tests / final. All homework answers can be searched easily.

I took the online class. Really easy as long as you do the assignments every week and skim as you answer the questions. He sends weekly update e-mails and makes it very clear on iLearn what to do. Just DON'T forget the iLearn quizzes!

Professor Danner is a good professor and a nice guy. The material is dry and can be tedious at times but he is ultimately there to help you. Group project, quizzes, and online homeworks through myitlab. Not too hard, but it does require time and effort.

This Professor is really nice, lenient and helpful (if you speak to him in his office hours). But the class itself is not easy, but not too hard; just a lot of work. But you do learn. Only complaint is that we get our graded papers a bit late, but its understandable because he can be very busy teaching big classes. I'd recommend Professor Danner.

Prof. Danner is 1 of the best Prof @ SFSU, but his class his boring. This class requires alot of work with group members who he choose for you the 3rd wk which is good, but working in a group can be crazy. easy class, but you'll have to work hard for an A. & just buy the add code for myitlab & the book, but not the textbook. You'll not need it.

Easy online class, but loads of work. If you're willing to spend a little extra time on the assignments, you will get an A. Plus side to online classes are that you have the internet as a resource whenever taking exams and also hw. One thing you should know is that the class requires you to use a PC computer to be able to do SAM2010 assignments.

This subject is the definition of busy work. Danner is cool though. Class usually ends early and the assignments are straightforward. 1 group project, 2 major indiv projects, online trainings and projects, online hw, about 6 quizzes, and a final.

If you are looking for an ISYS class take it with him. Overall, the course was pretty straight forward, just do your readings and weekly tasks and you will do fine. Simply because if you sign up for somebody else, you are in for a surprise. . .

Mr. Danner is really helpful teacher that i have ever met. This class has a lot of work required but if you put your efforts and doing everything what is required to pass the class, you will be fine. He really cares about his student

This class was pretty easy but it requires a lot of work. You will do at least 4 hours of hw a week in the class but its not hard at all if you follow the directions its just tedious. Overall he is pretty chill teacher tells a lot of jokes and is pretty friendly the work you due in this class such as excel and access is pretty useful

Pretty easy class. Lots of works, but not hard at all. Just remember to do weekly homeworks, and excel projects which were very easy. You can search Google for quizzes and even tests. Didn't really used the book, but you have to buy it to do your online homeworks and projects. Take it!

take this class online if you can. the in class person is a waste of time because you can do EVERYTHING online. its all online. SAM is easy and you can find the answers to the test online. projects are a bit tough but you have 5 chances to re submit it for a better score and it tells you what you got wrong. its an easy a. take online!!! recommend.

Took this class in Fall 2014. The class itself has alot of work but you do have plenty of time to do it all. All the assignments are laid out at the beginning and you know when everything is due. There are assignments every week, and about 4 excel projects. The answers to the quizzes and final are all online. Dont miss deadlines and you'll pass

I took the online class, which is not bad. The homework and projects are easy, only 5 forums on ilearn. Multiple attempts for exams/quizzes/projects. He doesn't reply emails if the format is wrong or he already mentioned it on syllabus. Overall it is an easy class to pass.
