The class is easy, just show up to do the daily responses and he'll give you full credit even if you BS, which is 20% of your test grade. You don't need to buy a book for this class, all of the questions are straight from the notes... read the notes for 10-30 mins and you'll be fine.

the test reviews come directly from the MC quest @ the end of the Chapters. Memorize these you have a A.Requires 3 short papers,no bid deal. Answers questions quickly. Good class to take if you are taking something else heavy. Also this class for me is 4 weeks for some reason. 3 test no final.Pretty basic and really easy.

Contrary to the popular opinion i think he's a good teacher. I appreciate his honesty and clarity. He makes it very easy to do well with the extra credit oppurtunities, and the essays help reinforce what you learn.

Mr. Mack is a great professor..He is very interesting and is very funny..You will catch his attention if you ask GOOD questions..If you don't take notes you have to read the book (mostly the words in bold..study for about 2 hours and you'll be fine

I took him for the on-line class. As long as you do your assignments and study the multiple choice questions at the end of each chapter you will get an A. Always responded to my emails quickly. Nice guy!

I took his online class... easy A!!! easy turn-in assignments and the multiple choice at the end of each chapter is what is on the tests..word for word!! He is also extremely nice and let me turn in my some h/w late and didn't take any off anything and always answered my emails quickly

You would have to be a complete moron to not make an A in his online class. Half of the test questions came word for word from the book's chapter reviews & the tests were ONLINE & you have two attempts!! Take him if you want to make an A

Mack was my favorite professor. He was very motivating, and I got an A. However you need to want to learn to take his class, his tests are from lectures and textbook. I took him about 4 years ago and he still is my favorite teacher, and I have had many since.

This was my first online course and I won't ever regret it..... if you are planning to take an online course this would be a good choice. He is helpful, and always willing to work with you. All you have to do is keep up with what he is asking for & its the assignments are not hard at all. don't fool yourself by not taking this class online....

Well, you'll get to class and he'll try to make you drop it, by saying its hard and if you dont blah, you'll blah blah blah....bs, its flippin easy - the only reason you need to go to class is to get your daily points for the tests that make up 20 points of each test. Study book chapter reviews and thats it. Hes funny and makes fun of people, haha.

Mack is an easy teacher. His lectures are better than average. The guy seems really bitter at America and the current generation of Americans. Show up to class and listen to his lectures and you should get an A in the class without even reading the book.

Very easy and fun lecture classes. Gave easy extra credit assigments which added 10 pts to test grades!!! He came to class sharp sometimes in his pink suit with matching shoes. Overall, this class was an easy A.

Took this online 8 week format, very easy. TQ's are in chaper reviews. Study the reviews and you will do great.Needed elective credit so this was very low stress 3 units. Plus reading was pretty interesting as well. Mr. Mack was prompt at answering my questions as well.

Realy easy class. Great prof 2. I took this CDI and like an idiot went to the wrong campus to take final. I didnt have time to get to the right one before they closed so he just ave my other tests and put that in for my final! He worked w/ me & my schedule and allowed me to take one of the tests at a time other than the scheduled date, GREAT prof!!

EASY online class! He gives very few assignments and grades them very easily! His tests are from the review at the end of the chapter so there is no suprise! Also you get three attempts on each quiz and it gives you the right answers at the end of each try! I would highly suggest this course!

Take him if you want to make a good grade, he is easy. And his exams are based on the end of the chapters. And the assignments are just essays, which are just 250-350 words or more, and he grades easy on you. Take him you won't regret it.

Don Mack is one cool cat. He's a bit out there but he's got some really hard hitting life advice for those who listen. He is highly respectful of his students but I've seen him tear people up for being disrespectful toward him. Never used book never studied for tests made an A. BUT daily work counts on tests so show up and you'll be fine.

If you want an easy A take this teacher! I just took him online for a 4 week summer course, we did 5 papers and 3 tests. He counts words for grading so when he sets the limit of how many words to do, do the max so you get all the credit. Tests were so easy, study the questions at the end of the chapter and your golden.

Easy, took the 4 week summer online course, studied end of chapter review over n over. 5 writing assign, 1 is a discussion board. He said 250-350 words I did one that was about 260 and he took off points, make sure yours is closer to 350. There's also a practice test worth 15 pts and orientation was 10. no extra cred but u won't need it!

Easy A and great professor! Took this class on-line during a 4 week term along with another class. Never read the book, only study the end of the chapter quizes. There where about 2 assignments a week and they were very easy. Great summer class or great class to take if you have a full load!

If you are interested in sociology or just have to take it, this is the guy. His class is so simple, but everyone tries to make it had. Go to class, take notes, and use the study guides out of the back of the book and you'll definitely pass. He is very insightful.

Dr Mack is a wonderful proffessor. He really cares about his students. There is extra credit for every test that actually help you in the longrun. Attendance if very important because he has you do a reaction sheet that he includes as part of your grade. Easy points there. I would definately take allhis classes. Very willing to help in any way!

AWESOME TEACHER AND CLASS! SUPER SUPER EASY A+++! The only thing i hated was the essays, but if you do the maximum words he requires its an automatic 100! The answers for the test come from the end of the chapter multiple questions in your book. I never studied at all and made a 98!

Amazing prof.! I wish there were more teachers like him! Very clear, makes class interesting. Must attend class to get his power point notes, but everything you need for the exam is in his notes. If you are ever going to take an online class, this is the one to take. There are no surprises in this class, read the book & take three tests, 4 papers (350) & 4 discussion posts (100). He always reminds you & from what I have seen he just appreciates a longer than his requirement paper/post that covers what he asks. Keep up with your stuff = A.

Super easy, you need to be in class because all test are based on the notes. No need to buy the book unless you miss class but even then you can get your notes from a friend. He also doesn't do a comprehensive final which is great!

Very clear instructions on what he expected throughout semester. He made sociology assignments interesting and always gave plenty of time to study. His organization and timely upload of information made it easy on me to focus on learning the material.

Great professor! The only grades for the whole semester are 5 test grades, and he drops one. The test come from PowerPoint lectures, where the items that will be on the test are in green. Easy A if you take the notes especially the ones in green, because they will be on the test. And, don't buy the text book. You won't need it. Promise.

AMAZING professor! He really cares about the students and is more than happy to help you out on anything that you ask. He is clear on what is on the test and you will make a great grade if you just study and take good notes. He really knows his stuff and has incredible stories to tell! He is one of the kindest professors that I have had at TCC!!

Uses PowerPoint for lectures. All green comes in the tests. Five tests( 50 mul-choice). No final. Lowest grade dropped. 10+ points for each test if you do a brief research paper (300 words or so) and bring it the day you have test. Lectures are short and there is a Review day before test if you missed some notes. No projects or participation requi.

Don Mack is so easy going, friendly, and all around a great professor. He put what was important on the screen in green and told us that that material would be on the test. He is very intelligent and has a real passion for sociology. I enjoyed his class so much!!!!

Dr. Mack was definitely one of the more interesting professors I've ever had. He loves when people participate in class discussion but doesn't push for it. He is funny if you have a dry sense of humor. He cares a lot about students getting A's but looking past the grades as well. Wants us to do very well in society.
