Not much to say .. hes fantastic!! His lectures are interesting and his experience in the field is remarkable! Although at times he goes off on tangents its always fastinating! Read the textbook and you will do fantastic in the course (definitly a textbook based course, not so much lecture) To see a terrific prof in action his lectures are a must!

I don't know why I took psych, I didn't enjoy it and ended up wanting to fall asleep. HOWEVER Dr. Morgenson is a great professor, although he does go on rants sometimes. He is very experienced and cares a lot about his students. It is wonderful to see profs who genuinely care about their students, he's so sweet!

Psych was one of my electives and he definitely made the class worth while... He taught really well... One thing though; his exams were straight out of the book, word for word, not from course notes at all... I eventually figured out I could just sleep in class, memorize the bolded text in the book and pull out 90's easily.

He uses alot of stuff from the text book so if you miss a lecture, its easy to catch up. He's such an amazing person. I hope everyone gets to experience his knowledge and humour.

Now this is a prof that is worth going to class at 8:30 in the morning for. He is really insightful and explains the lectures very well. I honestly hated myself for missing a lecture as they were usually very entertaining. He may be a hard marker, but he's very approachable in or outside of class. If you have the chance to take his class, take it!

This is the first course ever that I was sorry to see come to a close. I hope he keeps teaching for a long time - but he is 80 after all!

I am now nearing retirement. My career was shaped by Don's passion and his exquisite eloquence, which was always punctuated by humor . There are few like him. My son was also his student and had the same experience.

Morgenson excel person. His lectures are amazing however when it comes to midterms and the final exam it's all Textbook material. I understood his lectures perfectly however going back to the textbook was always a struggle. He's thorough and clear in lectures. Loved that

Great prof! He cares greatly about his students and has a old fashioned lecture style. No slide shows he just talks and you listen and write notes. Midterms and final exam all worth 25% which is nice. All tests were fair and he posts lots of practice quizzes so you know exactly what to expect.

Great guy, waited almost a year to take the second course so that I could have him as a prof again!You have to read the text book and attend class, but he's awesome to answer questions and even though his teaching is a little "old school" that isn't a bad thing!

Don Morgenson is such a genuine man, and is willing to do anything for his students. I received a poor grade on a midterm and he allowed me to write an essay to replace that mark, which I was thrilled to write. His class requires a lot of text book memorization though. His lectures are interesting.

His style is old school, he loves his students and teaches because he truly loves spreading his knowledge. He wants us to apply our knowledge, not just test our ability to memorize facts... Great guy!

Morgy is the best prof I had all year and I am so happy to have had him for both PS101 and PS102. His lectures are priceless and so worth going to, as long as you follow up on the material in the textbook. Exams can be difficult if you don't study/pay attention in class, but if you come and learn or even just listen, its worth every minute.

Took Intro to Psych 20 years ago. First day, he told us all we had 100% and it was up to us to keep it - a lesson I have used with my kids. Also, used his idea of contracting for a grade - x amt of work 80%, y amt of work 90%, etc. Could be difficult, but lots of makeup chances. He's all about learning - which I did.

If you are struggling with anything, visit his office hours- he will do what he can to make sure you do well in the course. His lectures were the only 830 AM lectures I looked forward to.
