Doc, is the best teacher I have ever had he makes complicated math very easy. I had his class 5 days a week and barely missed any classes he makes you want to come to class and you will learn alot. Plus he is really funny

I never did good in math, but when I had Dr. Franks for Precalc I FINALLY understood it. He explained everything in simple terms and applied it to the homework. If you ever needed help he was always there, or just find the equation on his car!

This guy is the best math prof. on campus. Eventhough most of his classes are in the morning, he will keep you awake. He's always cracking jokes and its fun to see what clothes he wears to class. If you need help he will take time outside of class to make sure you understand the material. Take him!!

Franks breaks every lesson down so that everyone can understand it. He is the best teacher I have had since I graduated high school. I hope he gets a mat 130 class. Def take him if he has a schedule next semester, you'll learn alot.

Dr. Franks did something for me that no other math teacher in my lifetime has done, helping me understand what is going on...He is excellent, hopefully he teaches a calculus class so that won't be a dreadful experience.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!! Incredibly easy to understand and eventhough you think you are going really slow because of all the questions and the understanding level, it turns out your ahead of all the other classes by a chapter! For the higher level maths, he is an overflow teacher, so on the first day of classes, check to see if he is available!!

I hated Math, and had a bad experience with Kamina. TAKE THIS MAN IN WHATEVER YOU CAN. He really helps you if you are retarded in math like I am. I got an A and actually understood math. He is by far the best math teacher I have ever had. He makes class fun while also teaching the things that you need to know. The tests and quizes are easy. As long as you pay attention and do some of the homework you will do fine in the class. He doesn't really check the homework. He only collects the worksheets he hands out.

Dr. Frank's is a cool dude. I think he flies a plane or takes a boat to class and his office is in Hamer gym he says but it only takes him 20 seconds to step out of class to get stuff from his office. Guess he's fast. Oh, and his car has math problems on it. HaHa.

He is hilarious and very helpful. His Elementry Topics class is way easy though and you don't need the book

This guy is great. At 8 am you WILL NOT fall asleep. He is crazy but it makes you remember what he is talking about. He teaches for a bit and gives you a breather to take it all in. If you suck at Math in general, you won't after you have had Dr. Franks. Oh and he has math probs painted on his car...lol

DR. Franks was hands down my favorite professor. He was hilarious andgave this one girl silly bands and always had someing funny to say. he got "all fired up" when trains would go by and he always talked about standing on a corner in winslo arizona. I never have a hard time waking up for his class. His car has math formulas all over it. haha

When the semester was over, I went back to him for tutoring in analytic methods and he was great help (got an A)! He is a great man who cares about his students. We need more professors like him!
