awesome teacher, super clear on test material and explains things thoroughly

I had him for 3 different classes, so I know. He teaches very well. He explains everything very clearly. There are no surprises on his tests or quizzes. He was also good in Bio Lab, just a little harder. Overall: An excellent professor!

He is very clear and precise. no games. however I suggest you NEVER EVER miss a class cause he only gives out his notes on that 1 day, and he quizzes the next. you miss his class or test YOU ARE SCREWED! and BE ON TIME...his classes are short but if you r a slacker, you'll FAIL with an "F"

Don't miss any classes. You will probably have a quiz on the next class. The tests/quizes are in the notes and you definitely have to read the book to understand.

Proffesor Donald encourage students to learn for themselves. If you are a lazy person, Don't take him.

Easy class to get an A in the lab , I don't know about the lecture

He is the MAN. He enjoys what he does therefore he teaches real good and challenges you. He is pretty tricky on his exams and quizzes even though he denies it. You have to study. Pretty good looking for his age

He knows a lot. I think he is a good professor, but toooo tricky on his test & quisses,and I personally think is no need for it. beside he doesn't aloud students to keep their test, and forget about reviews for the final.If U want and A choose another teacher.I can bit that in every class with 30 students only a few of them will end with A.

Good professor-for those who want to spend the semester STUDYING!

Excellent professor!!! He explains the material, even gives you a study guide, you must study though. He is a true college professor, there to teach and thats it. He doesnt play games. But you will leave his class knowing everything he has taught you.. EXCELLENT!

What is everyone talking about his test being hard....study the notes either you know it or you dont. I manage to study a little an still pulled a B.

The best professor I've ever had. I took bsc2085, 2085L, bsc2086, 2086 L, and got A in all four classes. You have to study though, if you're lazy and don't like studying, don't take him 'cause you'll fail miserably. He explains very clearly, no homework, but gives quizes every week for every chapter

I took the class and got an A. His tests/quizzes are never given the first day of the week. For ex. in a MWF class his tests/quizzes are given on Wed. I would read the packet of notes he gave us on the 10min metro ride every mon, tues and wed morning and i got 100 in all except two quizzes and 90-96% in his tests.

Let me tell you that this teacher is awesome and very helpful. He really wants you to learn. His classes are very interesting and his tests are super easy. If you don’t miss any class you will pass it easily.

Pro. Maser is the best!!!! He gives out outlines for every chapter and exactly what's on the outline is on the quiz and test. The only neg. thing is that he gives out a quiz every week but they're really easy!!!! I got an A in his class

Professor Maser is great! He is very organized and clear. You will really learn if you study his outlines. His test are based in what he teaches. You will learn a lot.

Great for lecture. Provides you with hand outs with summary of chapters. Weekly quizzes adhere to concepts covered in the handout. If you study the hand out you'll do well. Sucks for lab. First 5 mins of lab time, tells you what the next weekly quiz is about and leaves you on your own. However, for the lecture is great! For BSC2086 tests get harder

He is wonderful!! His exames are fair!! He is so responsible...He does his work...But he never gives any extra credit... and you have to study a lot..

i don't understand why these people are giving him horrible reviews they must be angry they failed cuz hes an AWESOME teacher, gives you a quiz every wk NON-accumulative & drops your 2 lowest grades & after about every 3 quizzes you have an exam based on the 3 quizzes you just did! he's awesome trust me! super nice & super organized!!

He ROCKS! You always know what you need to know for quizzes and exams. Try getting into one of his classes if you think he's a bad prof.... you can't b/c they fill up on day one of registration! He's great... very tightly wound.. but an awesome teacher, and explains things wonderfully!

HES AN AWESOME TEACHER! It cant get any easier than him! He gives you the outlines to study for the quizzes(10 in total, he drops 2 lowest grades), of course you got to understand the concept and NOT MEMORIZE THE OUTLINE! I wish I had chosen him for lab as well!!Hes the best A&P Teacher!

Great professor. Knows his stuff. All you have to do for the tests/quizzes is study from the outlines.

10 quiz he will pick the best 8. four major test. This teacher is very straight forward In the beginning of the semester he tells you he doesnt do extra credit or class assignments he wants to make sure you know your stuff.... after all if you are taking this class your going towards the health field everyone wants someone that knows their stuff!

Good professor, really knows what he's teaching. He gives 10 quizzes (drops the lowest 2) and 4 exams. Grading is very straightforward, you always know where you stand grade-wise. He gives outlines for note-taking during class, and the quizzes and exams come right from there. Class attendance is recommended for you to do well!

I TOOK HIM FOR BSC 2085L THIS PAST SPRING. YOU ARE HANDED A OUTLINE & YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WILL BE ON THE TEST. MODELS ARE USED BUT THEN YOU MAY ONLY BE ASKED FOR ONE OR TWO QUES BUT YOU KNOW TO STUDY THOESE MODELS SO THERE ARE NO SURPRISES WHAT SO EVER. I DID GOOD IN HIS LAB STRAIGHT B's. I AM NOW TAKING HIS 2086L I TRUST I WILL PASS ONCE AGAIN!

professor maser's AWESOME pls dont let these failures that are hating on him bring u doubts.i wont lie he is hard & u will have to study but u will come out of that class so prepared & understanding everything.take him hes tough but its for a reason noone wants a teacher whos just an easy A if thats what you want then get out of health care field!!

You have got to be ontop of your game if you want a good grade. hes not slack, but you do end up leaving that class with so much knowledge. Id reccommend him, ONLY to serious students.

I love this professor. He explains the material as if you were a 5 year old. you are bound to understand unless you don't understand English. He is one of the best professors you could ever ask for but be prepared to pay attention, study and attend classes and don't be late. If you are lazy, take another class.

I don't understand all the negative comments. He makes biology easy to understand. He summarizes all the chapters in the book AND he give you the notes. I mean what else do you want? Easy A.

Took him for summer B and liked his. He gave a text every class but it wasn't hard.

Mr Maser is a professor behind the scenes. He will help you to understsnd the basics. He does supply you with all you need to know. His tests are every clas session, comprehensive, and no mid or final exams. I recommend him highly.

Alot of the negative feedback for this professor is mostly due to people -not studying-. What you'll like about this professor is that -everything- on his notes are on the test and there are -no surprises-. In short, study his notes. With a weekly quiz/exam (at 15 questions for quizzes and 50 per tri-weekly exam), you'll remember the material.

This is a great great great teacher - at least for Biology. I don't know what's up with the rest of these comments. But this is my second time taking Biology cause the first time I couldn't pass it. You don't need to buy the textbook. He does great short outlines of every chapter and all tests and exams are straight from the outlines.

I just finish nursing school and he's the best professor I ever had at Miami dade college. He prepared me a lot for the nursing program with regards to anatomy and physiology. Nursing students seriously take his class!!! I greatly recommend him!!! he teaches with clarity and his quizzes make you study hard to prepare you for medical field.

He is very methodical and a micro-manager when it comes to class rules. Almost every class had a quiz or a test so it's imperative to never miss a class. He's a great teacher. You can tell he really enjoys teaching. This is my 2nd attempt in Bio. My last teacher sucked and i was failing. But Prof. Maser makes Bio very interesting. No textbook required. All his tests come from his outlines (which are very short). If you can't pass this class, something is wrong with you. A+++++

Anatomy is not easy class with any professor, I guess.I just studied powerpont sheets which he gave us. He speaks very clear and explanation is very understandable even though I am foreign student I understood very well. When I had questions he always helped me. If you study hard, you will be fine.

Very hard Lab, but at least I know the material like the back of my hand. You MUST study VERY hard to pass his quiz. He gives you an outline of everything that may be on the quiz/test, but it is a lot of material and his quizes have only 15 questions. It is a great class if you are good at self-learning and studying.

Extremely easy class. I had no knowledge of anatomy nor i wanted to learn anatomy at first. His tests are a piece of cake but YOU MUST STUDY. he gives you an outline for what is going to be on the tests. no midterms no finals. very easy class. the only thing is that he is not very helpful. if you can learn by yourself: EASY A

I took Maser for Anatomy I& II at wolfson campus. I did not like him at first. But oh boy, how much do I wish all professors taught as he does. Ii am in Nursing school now, and his foundations of teaching,m quizzes, are becoming very helpful. If you like organization and want to learn, take this guy.

This is the best professor I've ever had. I was told that Anatomy and Physiology is a tough subject. I loved my experience with this class. I wish he was teaching Chemistry as well. He gives you outlines of each topic, tells you what's on his test, and drop your 2 lowest quiz scores. He also give weekly quiz and is extremely organize.

I just got thru reading the comments on this professor. If I wasn't already in this class, I would run in the other direction, listening to the lazy people on here. This professor is one of best professor @ MDC. If you are heading to nursing school, you should be more concerned with a professor doing their job and helping u learn. Professor Maser gives you an outline for u to study instead of having to buy the text and read the whole chapter. I guess you can't please everyone.

Took his online biology class and passed with a B. The class was fairly easy. He really helped out by dropping a few of our lowest grades. I would take another virtual class with him.

I had Professor Maser for A&P I and II. I am a little surprised to see all the complaints about him on here. I'm now in nursing school and feel that the foundation he gave me in A&P has been great! Other classmates of mine have said the same thing!

I took r. Maser for Anatomy I. I wanted to take him for Anatomy II but he wasn't teaching it the following semester. He is a very easy professor who holds you accountable and treats you as a young adult. I don't understand all the negativity on here about him. It's really impossible to fail this class if you study the 2 page notes per week.

I am in nursing school now and I wouldn't of have been doing so well if it weren't for him. He really gives you what you need to study. Ppl complain bc they want free A's. He can't put his knowledge into your brains--you need to STUDY. get over and welcome to college. If youre complaining like this now, you'll never make it in Nursing school!

I didn't have him for lecture, so with the variety of comments between lecture and lab, I think he handles each differently. For lab he gives you a quiz every week, drops 2, no finals or mid-terms. You HAVE to study, he lists the diagrams you need to know and tells you what pages of text. His class is easy IF you study.

If you don't like to study do not get this class. Maser is strict. if you study every single word he gives in the weekly presentation you will pass with an A. Quiz EVERY WEEK, 5 exams and final. I study every day for this class; got an A. you will learn a lot. Maser explains very clearly. good teacher if you're determine to learn. huge memorizing

He's pretty straightforward. He gives you the pages to study & what to focus on. Real simple. Yes, he doesn't teach because the test are not that hard. everything that was on the study guide is on the test! no tricks. but he's a little strict. do your part & you'll be fine!

His biology class was the easiest class i've EVER taken in my life. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK. He does not assign homework in that class! We only have quizzes and exams which are based on the notes we take in class through powerpoint slides that he prepares for us (we have to log on to his mdc page to print them) and while in class we just fill them in

Very straightforward and strict, no make up exams nor extra-credit. He tells you what do you have to study so if you memorize the pages and the pal exercises you should not get less than A. Class is not that easy tho. I ended up getting an A. Not really friendly but understandable.

Like other comments mentioned, Maser is straightforward. There's weekly quizzes, 11 total. The quizzes are 15 fill in the blank questions based on assigned modelspictures and readings from the text. Your worst quiz grade will be dropped and the average of the remaining 10 quizzes will be your final grade. Just study!Miss class and get a 0 for quiz

Look, it's Biology. You're going to be memorizing terms and definitions, get used to it. Study. There aren't any homework assignments, the book isn't required, and he links you the powerpoint slides which you fill in each class. Study for the quizzes and tests, there are a whole set of quizlet cards online to help and supplement, you'll glide by.

He knows how to keep class in order and class material is known before-hand, he tells you exactly what to study. Studying on your own time is really helpful since its just memorizing class terms. be sure to read exactly what to study in his guideline since that is exactly what you will tested on.

I took Maser for BSC2085L/BSC2086L. 11 quizzes in whole semester; BSC2085L: drops 2 lower quizzes. BSC2086L: drops 1; every quiz 15 questions; questions based on txt pgs, pics from the txtbook & manual, & from models. IT IS NOT A HARD CLASS. PLS STUDY. HE TELLS U EVERYTHING THAT IS ON THE QUIZZES. I recommend you take him. Easy A.

He is a nice professor and straight forward. He gives you a sheet which tells you what is going to be on the quiz. Also, he drops 2 quizes. He is easy especially if you are an independent learner and stay motivated. But he doesn't teach in the lab, he just describe what the quizes will be cover and the rest is for you to study.

He's great. Gives you handouts to be able to go along with the lecture, just fill them out and you're ready to study for any quizzes/tests! He repeats a lot of things that he's already said the previous class but he's easy. Gives details on topics that are gone over in class. Just don't be late for class because tests are given at the beginning!
