Prof. Tricarico is good at teaching sociology. Granted, he does tend to go off on a tangent, but it makes things more interesting. Regardless of this, his delivery of the subject matter is easy to understand as long as you take good notes.

Professor Tricarico is a very fair instructor. He takes the time out to assist his students in a professional, yet interesting manner. I really enjoyed the lectures and, although he sometimes strays from the subject,it made it that much more enlightening.

Dr. Tricarico is a nice and smart professor. His class is very interesting. I was in his Fall 04 Sociology of the Family. He does not give any tests. Just 6 projects which are fair enough. Take him, u wont regret. Best teacher. Arthur I.

Professor Tricarico is a great teacher and he does help his students in his class. I had a wonderful experience in his class and I thank him for the wonderful time I had in his class.

He is a very good teacher explains and goes over if needed to. As long as you do what he asks, you will get as A.

He is a good professor and very understanding too. He isn't that clear but lets put it this way I passed with a B+ only on notes I never even opened the book! If you do your assignments well you will positively pass

I took Mr. Tricario he's really good, no due dates, no tests, as long as you do the papers you'll be fine and pass easy. Hes the best teacher by far!!

I took him for 3 different sociology classes. After going to three different colleges, he is still my favorite professor of all time.

He is a very good professor. He loves to talk.his assignments are easy and he doesnt have a due date for any of them.

He is easy, you have to GO to his class. He gives SIX essay projects and you sit in a circle and each person reads it. The best thing is that he talks so much, you do nothing in the class, and all your reports are an easy A or B. I recommend you take his classes. It's a breeze if your a lazy person.

He is a nice Prof. Very helpful and easy going. It was a writing intensive class and had to write essays, was a nice experience. Just understand the assignments and be free with him. Hard work paysoff so take him. Good Luck.

Very easy professor.No homework, just six projects to present in class and there easy. Dr. Tricarico is one of the best Sociology professors I've had. He is always willing to go over any problems we have with our essays , he makes class really interesting and he is funny too. I'll definately miss his class alot. So any students taking SS310 next semester I definately recommend Dr. Tricarico. Dr. Tricarico you're the best.

Easy class, but boring professor. Pretend to be an architect like one @sshat in my class was and you'll probably get an easy A.

i LOVE HIM, i deserved an A but he gave me a B+ i dont know why and I was stupid for not arguing it but hes soo nice and so helpful, he'll E-mail your info, he'll stay after hours and gives extra credit. If you take his writing Intensive there is no final! Take him his essays are stupid

He is the best professor I have had since coming to Queens. I had him my 2nd semester and loved the fact that there were no tests, open discussions, and easy papers(which were basically what you talked about in class) that I took him again for the urban studies internship. Two great and easy A's. Any questions, just ask him...HE'S GREAT!!!

His class can be a bit dull. Easy assignments and no due date. Just don't hand it in too late. You have to present your work for each essay. Do decent on the essay, do the extra credit and you will get an A-. No tests.

I can't believe that there are people that would complain about Professor Tricarico. He is the best teacher I ever had at QCC. If you expect your professor to hold your hand like in high school, he isn't your guy. But if you are an adult and want to learn something, he is.

hes a easy professor. he tells you exactly what he wants . just be prepared to be bored. he talks alot and goes directly off topic. take him in telling you. hes not that bad. just friend him up. hes very leenient. theres no test no hw-just type his papers and hand them in when due. theres i think 3 topics no finals . what more do you want.hes great

I had him for urban studies so I don't know how he is in a classroom setting. However, he was nice when i met with him and gave me a lot of information about entering the work force.

I admit i was a little skeptical about him at first, but then realized that hes a very good professor. Definitely knows his material well,(know a LOT about the world)and is always there for help. He does tend to get off topic though from time to time. A little more interaction in the class would be welcome ( all lecture ). Overall recommended.

he's one of the best prof at QCC. As a college student he just helping you to learn. I really recommended him if the student willing to become something in the future, they should start taking responsability no exams just your understanding through writing.

Very knowledgeble in his department and hates Jersey Shore as much as I do; a big plus! He really opened my eyes to alot of subjects, sociologically speaking. I can't wait to take his Urban Studies internship in the Spring! ^_^ P.S.: If you want an A, read the material! I saw people complaining about their grades but didn't have a copy of the book!

Hey, do you really want to get an A. take his class. NO TEST. and get this, his papers and mad easy. all you need to do is reference from his book make it clear and stick with the material. You won't regret it. hey you might even get away with a nap

At first he mostly went off on tangents and had random conversations with students. But then he started giving some really interesting lectures. Smart guy. The grade is 80% papers (there are 4) and 20% class participation. I did all the work and got an A- in the class. Yes, he's a character, but that makes it entertaining. I'd take him again.

Prof. Tricarico is a great professor. He's very smart and has a lot of knowledge in sociology. His Racial and Ethnic relations class is interesting and I would reccomend it. This class is not based on tests, but on 4 papers. Make use of the book and actually think about things. If you put in a lot, you will get out a lot.

I loved Dr. Tricarico. I graduated many years ago, but I still think about him often. He was funny and sweet and I learned so much in his class. Be warned, he is so great that I almost changed my major! Take his class. You won't regret it!

Professor Tricarico is an excellent professor. His Racial and Ethnic Relations course is very interesting. There are no tests, but several papers which are quite easy. Recommend him to anyone.

Professor was pretty easy... there's no test in this class ONLY PAPERS. Easy professor, you'll pass.

No tests whatsoever, only papers, you dont even need the textbook. Just do your papers and follow the guidelines for it and you will get a B. His lectures are boring but the classwork is super easy.

No tests in the class, 4 essays that are around 2-3 pages each. Easy class but he is a tough grader on the papers. Show up and do the essays and your most likely guaranteed a B.

He is really helpful, though he goes on tangents all the time. He shows up late and keeps you after the time is over.

Very boring class but easy to pass. Everyone fall asleep in the class including me. 4 essay papers which are pretty easy. The lecture is long, boring, and he speaks to slow. Just have to include some info from readings and leture and you will get an easy A.

Great professor, really willing to help who ever asks. The only thing you have to do is show up and write the papers and you basically have an A.

Prof. Tricarico, in my honest opinion, was actually a lot better than I expected. All we basically did was discuss current events / background experiences relevant to sociology topics, although I feel like he could've showed some more enthusiasm (but very knowledgeable and passionate though!). No exams or anything, just easy A research papers!

A very down to earth professor that is able to help students in and out of the classroom. Although his grading is only based on papers, the topics are very clear and so is his style of teaching. He is a man of class, and carries a lot of knowledge on the topic. He allows students to use outside sources to show their connection with this class.

Class outline is straight forward, so don't worry about being blindsided. Very insightful and knowlegeable about the subject. Willing to help students outside of class during office hours. Very nice guy, highly recommend professor Tricarico!

he is a great professor. dont take the class if you aren't interested. he loves students that show a real curiosity for learning. a lot of the information he says is redundant but he really looks for students to further the conversation with their own experiences. 10/10. many students couldnt appreciate him but he is one of the best socy professors

the papers were hard to understand because he doesn't explain very well, but forming a group or getting close to a classmate helped me understand better. He's a sweet professor, understanding and funny. He sometimes comes off rude but don't take it personal.

No quiz. No exam. Just three short essays. Carefully read the material from the professor and answer each question then you will get an A. Easy!

Professor T. has been great so far this semester. You have to treat his lectures as attempts to relate his own experiences to yours and be proactive in connecting the discussions to concepts. If you like social science, are okay with writing and make strong effort as a student, the class will not be as intimidating as described in other ratings.
