great guy! can't say enough about his personality, great teacher as well. Explains a lot of things to you! Would recommend him to anyone!

He is very nice,,,very sweet,,,he makes u laugh..funny guy..Test are open book, but if you want to get an A in the class make sure that you keep your grades up, because the final is very hard (for statistics) and most of the students end up getting a B.

VERY nice, extremely helpful to those who ask but doesn't suffer fools or slackers. No curve, no corrections and no extra credit - so you need to work hard. You'll get out of this class exactly what you put in.

Funny professor! Very light hearted and a good sense of humor as well as character! Gets to personally know his students and makes an otherwise boring material interesting with creative examples. He lacks knowledge of modern day technology and funny to watch him struggle with the overhead. Multiple choice tests, open book!!!

Professor Warren is a very smart guy, willing to go over any material in and outside of class. The HW & quiz is online. In class test was open book, but did not help much because tests were hard, not material covered online. Not happy with the grading system, not enough weight on in-class exam, so my grade was lower as a result.

Good teacher. Very helpful and lenient with tests. I bombed one test but still managed an a in the class. if your good with online hw and tests class will be a breeze

Prof. Warren was an awesome professor. Everything you do gives you points towards something. You can use your book on tests and you have online tests that give you more points on your in class test. Let's just say I'm not very good at math and I'm passing his class with A. Just show up and mark your book so you can use it on the test and your set!

I thought that prof. warren was too easy. I think that he explained topics excessively. If you did the homework on mymathlab, his tests were cake and open book. For all those who did not do well, I don't know how you managed to do so.

Professor warren is like a grandpa. he loves his job and the students. he is very understanding and nice. all he asks for is respect and he will give it back all the time.

I took Professor Warren for a mini Summer semester the info was alot to take in in the end but he was awesome he always made sure you understood it and he has a weird sense of humor but it is awesom e it makes class so much better DEFINETLY ATTEND CLASS!!! and dont leave early he will remember. Definetly take notes in book you can use it on tests!!

I had Warren for statistics in the summer. He's like the perfect model for a retiree, and a very sweet grandpa type. He sometimes uses nursery rhymes and other silly things to explain concepts. Just make sure to do all the homework and online pre-tests because they're part of the overall test grade and take lots of notes in your book!

Prof Warren is a good teacher. You MUST attend class and do the homework to understand. All problems are directly out of the book and his notes. So if you read the book and follow along you'll have all the tools. All tests are open book and you can write extra notes in your book. It's challenging but doable. If you don't care he'll let you fail.

Great professor! Best on campus in my opinon. Took him for MAC 1105, loved how he taught, and took him for STAT 2023, and became even more fond of him now!! Great teacher, willing to help, and will invest as much time as needed for you to understand.

A Great professor! He makes sure that you learn the material. I have taken MAC 1105 2 times prior and never had a better teacher than Professor Warren.

I earned an A in Stats & College Algebra, taken with him in one Summer A session. You will need to use Course Compass. Warren is very sweet and takes the sting out of the subject for you, but his advice is not to be taken lightly. As in any subject, you need to study, & practice. MAKE NOTES IN YOUR TEXTBOOK - exams are open book.

I took him for MAC 1105 after taking it once before and not understanding it. He made things easy to understand for me. Write good notes in your book and do course compass. If you show up to class and really try to learn, you will do good. He's also got a nice personality. Really tries to help people.

this professor actually is not so bad or evil as alot of people make him seem. if you attend class, show interest, and visit him during his office hours then he is more than welcome to help. Professor Warren is cool and he an adventurer!:)

He was great! Helpful and had no problem helping out even the morning of a test if you visited during office hours. He would help until I got it. Makes the class fun and very interesting, but it is college folks if you dont want to study or ask questions you may not do as well.

GREAT GREAT GREAT teacher!!! Class is super easy, attendance is not necessary...his tests are kind of mild but if you study hard they are super easy.I really recommend this class to anybody!!! He allows you to take notes in your book and use the book on the test, which helps a lot. Take this class and hurry because his classes fill-up fast!!!

Warren is a nice funny guy, but if your not good at math, steer away from him. Doesn't really teach well...all he does is use horrible powerpoint slides. Also on CourseCompass...he takes out all yourright side bars..no view an example or anything...which makes it pretty frustrating. If your good at math take him...if not..look for another prof.

Don Warren is a good professor. I took this class summer - A semester. This class goes extremly fast in the summer. THree tests drops lowest test score and he drops the 2 lowest homework scores. Uses powerpoint to teach. Counts the final exam as two test grades. Very nice man. Cares abouts students. I got a "C" for the course. Tests are open book.

Great professor. He goes at a slow pace, but it's for the sake of the students. He's a really nice man, just act like an adult and everything will be sunshine. He will tell you off if you insist on acting like an ass, i.e., obviously texting or chatting during his lecture. Do yourself a favor and write everything in the textbook.

Fantastic. He loves teaching and really cares about his students. If he focused more on pounding away at the most important points every chapter I think he would get better results, as it is a very difficult class. However, he'll let you use the book during tests so just make a guide of important formulas for yourself and you'll be set.

Great proff!Willing to help students out of class, and goes at a good pace. I would deff recommend him, he lets u use ur book so WRITE notes in it and study some and u will be good! The lowest grade i got on test was an 88 and math is deff not my best subject, so TAKE HIM!!

There are no 2 ways about it Stats was hard, BUT proff. Warren goes at a good pace and relates material to real world so its easy to understand. I ended with B+ Grades test fast. I was nervous about taking Stats cause I heard it was difficult but he is an amazing proff. I wouldn't miss class either cause its not easy to teach yourself the material

Professor Warren was hilarious! He covered the course material quite well, and the tests are open book. Take the course seriously and you'll do fine. (WRITE IN THE BOOK!)

Open book tests. He uses power point slides directly from your text book so you know EXACTLY where you should be writing your notes. You will want to buy the text for this reason. Lowest 2 homework's (weighted 20%) dropped, lowest test (weighted 80%) dropped. Final is worth 2 test scores.

I hated Math before I went into this class was dreading it. Prof Warren made it very interesting. You definitely need your book. He does open book tests and any notes you write in your book you can use on your test. Love this class. You have to do the work but you definitely learn the subject. Would take again.

Prof. Warren is an excellent teacher, very understanding and makes the class interesting. He is not going to take class time to go over something that you truly don't understand. He would rather see you before or after class which he is always available. Open book tests are great so write your notes in your book. Awesome prof. Highly recommend.

Open book tests.Qs are from homework.Employs notes so no need to read/own a book.Speaks slowly and clearly so you can comprehend the material which at times gets complicated.PAY ATTENTION to class instead of ur phone, do ur homework & its an easy A+.Great teacher highly recommended.

One of the best professors that I've ever had. He is an expert in what he teaches. He has a way of explaining difficult things so that the average student can understand. I thought I was going to hate statistics but ended up being really interested in the subject after his class.

If I'd had this teacher earlier I would be better at math. Nice pace for a "non-math" mind. Teaching stlye is relaxed and jovial. All tests open book & you can write in book. DO NOT TALK IN CLASS! Does not like to compete for attention/jokes. Does not like to stay late after class but extra help always available in his office. Great memory.

If you understand math, don't take him for stats. You will be come frustrated with how slowly he moves. He is great for those who need extra help. I RARELY paid any attention and even dozed off during some classes... I got an A in the class and on the final. Do the homework and understand how to do it without the help button.

Professor Warren, is the type of professor that wants all his students to succeed. But the student must put in the work in order to earn a good grade. He is fair, takes away the lowest test grade and two lowest homework grades. Allows one sheet of notes on test. He is always there if you need help. Just put in the effort and you'll succeed.

PERFECT teacher if you struggle with math. Teaches it like kindergarten. Silly jokes and cutesie memory helpers. Made it enjoyable to pay attention. If he'd been my highschool teacher I would have a better foundation today. DON'T talk in class. Ask one Q, if you still don't get it go to his office. U can't hold up the entire class for one issue.

Prof. W. is an amazing instructor. Stats is a pretty tough course, period. But if you put in the effort and use his office hours, you can make it. No easy A here. But if you gotta do stats, do it with Prof. W. Glad I got to know him. And rent the book or don't get one at all. The whole textbook is in the Mathlab software which is required.

Follow his notes. Memorize them! He makes a difficult subject very elementry. He drops one homework grade and one test grade. But the final is chapters 1-10 and is worth two test grades. He tells you to ask questions but when you do ask questions he kind of gets mad with you in front of the entire class.

Was not what i was expecting after reading the previous comments from other students. He wants you to ask questions then makes you sound stupid for asking them. he teaches differently from the book, and his tests are not easy either. His tests are spaced out pretty wide.

Ah, Sir Warren. His class was very difficult at times, but I passed 2 points from an A. If you put in the work, you will succeed. He eliminates one bad test grade at the end of the semester, and his teaching style was very effective. Find a classmate to team up with to study the material, because stats isn't easy. I recommend him though.

He's one of the best at Edison. Had him over a decade ago and learned so much from his class. Just made an A. Stats is a hard class, but he wants you to succeed.

Awesome Professor! He made me like statistics! If you are a slacker you should probably look for an easy Professor, because Prof. Warren really teaches, he doesn't just give free grades (the reason why some dislike him). Btw, I love his laid back style! Highly recommended...

I passed this class seven yrs ago.I just heard of this rating site and now responding.That's how much Prof. W had an impact on me. Math wasn't my strong suit, but I learned through his teaching.The verbage was my weakness, he helped me when no one student would. I recommend this professor if you are completing your 2yr at edison prior to a xfer

Prof. Warren is a great teacher! Has no problem explaining something until everyone understands. He comes up with unique, funny ways to remember things by. This was a very easy class as long as you don't miss too many days and keep up with homework. Try not to get behind. You won't be disappointed with this teacher!

I think it is easier to blame a professor when you dont pass a class. This class depends 90 % on the effort the students puts on passing or getting a good grade. Professor Warren explains really well, but this is a hard class, even for people good at math. But you need to put a lot of effort if you wanna do well. Dont blame him, study hard

Prof. Warren is a really good teacher. I ended up with a 88! I got a D on my first test, but an A on the other 2 tests. He lets your final replace lowest test grade. WARNING the entire test is based off homework so do it an know it! he allows a flash card too! wonderful guy !

Professor Warren does a great job making this class relate to the real world. It isn't an easy class but he provides one-on-one help if you ask for it. Be prepared to put in the work if you want an A, but he won't let you flounder if you ask for help.

It's all word problems and critical thinking not math.. and yes he is old, and does ramble, and works on the homework half the class however, the tests literally come from the homework. It is a challenging course but I don't think I would have passed with any other professor. Attendance isn't mandatory but necessary to pass.

Prof. Warren was great! Stats starts out easy but gets pretty hard. If you ask him a question in class it won't help but go to his office hours and its 10x clearer. Go get help from him before every test. It helps ALOT. Awesome guy, knows his stuff, tries to make it interesting. 4 test and online hw is it. I would HIGHLY recommend him.

Great personality, great clarity in teaching, but tests were worth 90% of the final grade leaving homework to 10%. Tests were difficult but questions taken from the homework, so study that! Would take him again for any math course!

This professor talks slow and reviews every class so if you miss a class you will be able to still understand what is going on. Every test he writes practically a cheat sheet for everyone on the board. I had a question and went to his office before class, he cleared up my confusion and even wrote it on the board and it was an answer to 3 questions.

he's a very nice professor. he will help you out any way he can, but you have to ask for the help, he's not a mind reader. he will go above and beyond to help you and if don't get it still and he knows your asking and doing all the work he asks you'll still get a good grade :)

Professor Warren can be funny and he tries to make a boring subject interesting. If you do the weekly homework, study, and attend class, you will do fine. I can't imagine passing the class without attending every lecture. He is very open and helpful during class and office hours.

Donald is a great professor and very personable with his students! He tries to make a boring class as fun and easy as possible. Gives studying tools and allows you to use a sheet of notes he pre-prints for you on the tests. Definitely recommend taking this professor!!

This professor is really good at teaching statistics. I wouldn't pass the class if I didn't attend class. You will do well in this class if you complete your homework on time on mylabsplus and use your homework as your studying tool for the test. 4 or 5 tests, 1 final, and he drops the lowest test score. I would recommend him.

He went above and beyond with me, he helped me understand what I didn't. He does get frustrated when you ask the same questions, but I kept asking until I understood. He's a really nice old man. He gives you formulas you can use on every exam, and use them all on the final. He is one of the best.

He is good, just not my style of learning. I fall asleep with his lectures. He is very knowledgable, nice, and funny.

He is a great teacher and if you are not good at math please take him. He does his best for every student to pass his class, so if you do not pass it was not because of him. He grades test very fast and gives feedback after class. He is old school to emails take him awhile and he is funny. It was hard for me, but studying is a must.

I would recommend Professor Warren for statistics. He is so funny and keeps the lectures interesting. It's important to attend class and do the homework. The in class tests are really similar to the online practice tests, so study those. He drops one test grade.

Professor Warren is a great person and professor. Getting a good grade in this course is all about doing ALL the homework and going over it before tests. The tests are literally HW problems with different numbers. If I could take another class with him I would! If you want an accessible and caring teacher, he is the guy!

Study for his tests, do the homework, and you'll get an A. He posts practice tests (with a key) that are practically the tests, but with different numbers. His lectures can be boring and he goes so fast, but he is fairly good about answering questions. He really knows what he is doing. Go to his office hours if you need additional help.

Dr. Warren is a solid choice. He's funny, kind, and very smart. He has nightly homework (I would advise doing as it helps your grade) and four/five tests that aren't too hard if you STUDY THE HOMEWORK. Great guy overall, and he really wants to help his students learn.

I like him because his lectures are easy to understand. Recommend having him. He encourage you to go to this office without any appointments just walk right through his office and he will help you.
