if you want to write an excellent resume to get a job, he is the right person. very demanding, but you learn a lot from him. grading is not bad, if you follow his requirement. class is not boring either.

He is very demanding of his students, however, you end up learning a lot from his class. He also lets you rewrite two assignments for a higher grade. He spells out exactly what he wants, all you have to do is follow it.

This dude is like Charles Bronson in Messenger of Death! Takes no prisoners and takes no crap from lazy students - I actually learned something, not like with other professors. The students who complained every week after class were the jocks who had no interest in writing, just looking for easy 'A'

This is a hard class with a lot of work that has to be done. Do exactly what he tells you and check your papers before you hand them in you should do ok. There are 6 papers, 1 major report, 6 editing quizzes and 1 editing final exam.

Don't let Professor Wilson scare you on the first day, he is a great professor. The class is not hard if you make an effort, and do your best work. You must do all the assignments, and double check your work. Professor Wilson gives you all the information needed to get an A in his class, it doesn't get any better than that.

Professor Wilson iOS an excellent educator. His expectations are demanding however, if you follow his specific instructions, he sets you up to pass the class. His directions are precise and very easy to follow. You will learn and enjoy his class. He has a good sense of humor which makes the class interesting. You cannot fail his class.

Prof Wilson is awesome and his class was very beneficial. He does make you work, but he LITERALLY spells it out for you on what he is expecting. Don't be lazy, read handouts carefully, and put in effort into these assignments that you will def use for your careers. You won't mind going to class because you will def be entertained while learning :)

As everyone else said, he will make you work. I took this course a few semesters ago on a Saturday at 8am....and actually ENJOYED going!! He is one of the best professors I've had. I had pretty good writing/editing skills before his class, but I still learned a lot. I highly recommend taking B&P Writing with Prof. Wilson!

The most talented English Professor I ever had. His strategy to simplify English was flawless. You must show up and you must have desire, and the rest is easy. I will never forget the real life experience Professor Wilson gave freely. Resume class as a whole was really priceless. His instructions are crystal clear and you just need to follow them!

Prof Wilson tells you this is an editing class, not writing. Don't believe it! There's a CRAZY amount of writing. The good news is he offers to review it over email to make sure it's right BEFORE you hand it in. I would have failed if not his extra help. He's an awesome professor!

I'm laughing at the sour grapes expressed by some of these reviewers - you can tell who passed and who failed. I passed - and all I did was follow the detailed directions Prof. Wilson provided. There's a lot of writing, but honestly this was the easiest class I've ever taken.

Great professor. He explains all his assignments step by step and even allows you to email it to him early for review. It's not an easy class in that you actually have to do your work to pass so do it! Pay attention too. The resume format Professor Wilson teaches has gotten me a lot of positive feedback. It was worth taking.

One of the best classes I have ever taken and I would do it again if it would get me another 3 credits. He explains the subject and the material down to a rudimentary level for everyone to understand. He gives hand outs that explain EXACTLY what you are suppose to do for all the assignments. Follow instructions and you can get an A.

Awesome professor! His lectures are so entertaining but also very informative and helpful, and he is willing to work with you as long as you put in the work and show initiative. This professor is one of a kind and is extremely helpful with ALL assignments. He has clear cut instructions with a visible sample that you can follow. He responds to emails quickly as possible. You will have quizzes, and a project (proposal) due at the end of the semester. YET.. I enjoyed every aspect of this class. He is one who will keep you awake no matter how tired you are. He is funny as all get out and not bad on the eyes. YET... don't take his kindness for granted because you will have to work for your grade.

He's strict when it comes to the editing of your work, but there wasn't a single thing he expected that wasn't covered by the handouts, syllabus, whiteboard, and him repeating it ad nauseam every single class. Professor Donald Wilson is great! Lots of papers to write, but this is the nature of this class. No way around it. He gives you all the tools to get a good grade. He also gives everyone a chance to rewrite every paper. You have to be very lazy to fail this class.

This is not an easy class but i learned the most with him. What he teaches, you actually use in real life. Hes funny and cares ( even though he says he doesn't) He will give you all the tools that you need to pass. If you fail, its because you didn't go to class or you didn't follow his worksheet that gives you all the answers. Great Professor !!!

He is a great professor as long as you follow instructions. He is a tough grader but he allows rewrites and specifically tells you what is your wrong with your paper. Its easy to get an A but if you don't put a little effort, its just as easy to get an F. Very accessible outside class and even encourages emailing if you need help. Would take again.

Professor Wilson is a superb professor. He is a professional who claims not caring for his students, but in reality does everything possible to see them succeed. He is also the only man I know who can pull off wearing the same clothes every class. He also has some cool unicorn tats on his arm. Wish I could've kept his red sunglasses. :)

If you need to take Business writing, take Prof. Wilson if you can. He really is one of the most accessible teachers out there and will truly work with you. Its not an A,B, C course but the thing is he gives very clear and precise instructions on almost everything each week once you follow those you will pass, He is a very understanding and caring person but he wants to see effort from your end and he will always meet you half way once he sees your effort, its never a dull moment that guy is funny.

Being a student of professor Wilson was a great learning experience. Although professor Wilson can be strict and expect a lot from his students, he makes learning enjoyable and has a good sense of humor. It is very important to learn profesional writing and everything I learned in this class I can and I will implement in my job.

One of the best professors I've had here in Kean. His assignments are very easy and he explains them with detail. He always gives you the chance to resubmit them as he believes in mistakes. He's hilarious aswell! If you're having any trouble, don't be afraid to ask him or just shoot him an email.

BEST PROF. Very hard to take him seriously, always keeping the class alive. Don't take him personal. A couple of writing assignments but they're easy if you follow the instructions he gives. mostly memos, letters, resumes. you have a 5 page paper at the end but given the entire class it's not bad. Grades fairly. Make sure to hand in work on time.

His eccentric personality and means of speaking during a lesson allow business writing to be easy to learn while keeping the interest of the classroom.
