Thanks to her she made learning comuputers fun, and not boring. she did give a lot of homework, but it was helpful. She uses a lot of real-life examples that made it easy for me to understand. Must keep her at this school

This proffesor is awesome! Everything is simple and straight to the point. For those that have experience w/ computers it will be a breeze. If you have not had experience w/ computers, she moves fast but will take the time to assist if needed. Will learn a lot in her class.

My first positive experience with an instructor here at this school. The first day of class was amazing and I feel she had the same motivation throughout the entire semester. Like teachers style. I didn't care for the students in my class - no matter how many times she told them to take notes - they did not and would always ask her to repeat things we already went over Her examples are great.

It is spring break and I am happy. I'm happy because the lady had me working hard this semester. I guess that is good - I learned so many things in this class I thought this was three classes rolled in one. She had us doing things we should have already known before taking this class. The professor seems to care about teaching others. Keep her!

This lady knows what she is doing. I am amazed at the knowledge she has, and she is willing to share it. She has taught me a lot. She teaches so much in one session, that if you miss it, you have missed a lot of information. She stays on point. I am looking for other classes with her. I love her style of imparting knowledge!

Well, I started to drop this course because I thought she was tough and very strict on homework & policies. Overall I'm glad I hung in there, because I learned how to do things with the computer that was not taught to me in 110. She provide other examples to help understand the tough textbook. Many questions thrown at her - she always extend help

What can I say first? I like her professional style of dealing with the students. Too much homework for a summer class. She steps out and will give you the industry related view of the course topics. Saw a classmate writing a rate for the professor so I will take a shot at it. Was mad at all the work we had to do for this being a summer class. After talking to my friend he did make me see how she was preparing us for how computers change. I realized that if I had listened more and came to class more it would have been better. She is smart

GREAT PROFESSOR! You can get help when needed and willing to go over missed assignments. Study hard and read often and you're be fine with completing all assignments on time. Professor Donna Armes is very serious about you learning her courses. If you come to play you're in the wrong class but willing to learn you're in the right class. I took visual basic earlier this year and did fine in completing the course. I work hard for it but it was worth it. She gives you time to catch with others in class. Great Professor!

Easy teach. Literally can pass the class by copy and pasting. Do all work and you will pass however I felt as if she didn't teach much but still a good teacher.

Very helpful instructor, I like the fact that she holds open lab after lecture to help you with any homework questions that you may have. I like the in class assignments that she gave us. She did provide many examples. As long as you take notes and follow her lectures you should do good. Glad her powerpoints were not dull she add real life ex.

Taking this for the summer with a friend... was hard at first but I think she is willing to always help. She is one of the only instructors to seem to spend time after her lectur walking around to see if we need help. classmates seem to make the class difficult because they can't remember easy things and ask same questions... CIS 110 Was a hard but good class. I thank prof. A. for helping me even though I was late to class. She did care about teaching us. Be ready for some examples with her lectures, but i guess good work examples. She is cool

This was a good class. Book is needed for sure. Some days you really like her and some days you may not. Thats because she makes you read the book. you can't pass without reading. I do like the way she teach I do want to take her again. Do the work and you will be ok

CIS 207 was a good class - she was approachable and helpful - glad she offered open lab after lecture - I was able to received help from her or ask questions about things I did not understand - glad to have meet her. I could have gotten a higher grade but i did not submit some of my work

Woohoo last day of class today. good class, i took her for CIS 110 and CIS 209 at the same time - Prayers to her and her family for getting sick - she still took time to help me understand. We created webpages, learned about major computer functions and I even learned microsoft access which was gigantic hard to learn.

Classrom COMPUTERS ARE SLOW and some are NOT WORKING. My online cengage did not work but Professor Arms worked it out and called cengage and allowed me to turn in work late. the beginning of class was rough with registration telling me wrong information about book befor class started. Ms. Armes is caring though

I missed the first few weeks of class she did help me get caught up - I was looking for a job and she helped me understand how to use USAJobs website - it was hard to understand. Very helpful and caring. About 2/3 task a week to complete. I really appreciated Ms. Armes! I admit I haven't had the best experience communicating with any of my professors last semester. Ms. Armes was very helpful and understanding with any issues I did have with assignments. I had several issues with blackboard but she didn't penalize me!

I am taking Dr. Thomas for CIS 120 and CIS 110 - she is consistent and solid on helping, giving examples, and giving you a chance if you do the work. Too strict but I understand because so many students do not read and ask the same question over and over or do not pay attention. I do appreciate her
