English is not my 1 language and I have problem in communication. So teacher Donna Chowdhury told me the steps to improve myself she ask me to contact student support and peer mentor. She made me to be ready to learn new information. She is very busy but she is always listening to student questions.

You must increase your self-learning, do weekly forum, mid-term exam (approximately 1000 words), quiz of each chapter seen which is very difficult to pass and the information of the class and the lessons is not enough to pass them, demanding in APA standards, pleasant conferences, willingness to listen.

She is excellent at teaching, has a vast knowledge of her subjects, and makes lectures interesting by adding logical and factual life experiences. She is not a tough grader.

I worked very hard for this course, and I had amazing support from Donna. She is fantastic in her approach with students and fair. She sends timely feedback which is helpful for the next assignment. One issue is she is a tough grader and does not allow re-take on missed quizzes. So watch out and be regular if you want to ace this course.

I think the professor taught us well. However, if she considers this fact while making tough quizzes for the 1st-semester students the new ones the whole culture, place, people, and even the university and format are new. My experience was great complemented with the class size. Usually classes are 40 students or more but we were around 20 and had so much fun while learning. There are occasional hiccups in the course but that has nothing to do with you, professor. As mba student our schedules are always challenging so we need to vent our frustration on someone else.

Professor responds very quickly to email. She will not keep you hanging for a decision like 80%% other UCW instructors. I found the course very challenging at first but I met her in office hours to acquire some learning strategies. I am glad I did that and so far everything went well. I wish OGL had a recovery I missed 3 quinces due to work.

HRMT professors in the university are generally unwelcoming, but she is a really good professor, graceful, and understanding as well. The course requires pen paper exam for 25 percent. OGL include quiz and forum you think you might get away using chatGPT but she will deduct points if an article seems fishy. If you appeal make sure you are genuine

Professor Chaudhary is engaging and informative but doesn't grade lenient. Grading is tough on individual assignments, even on forums you can score a max of 80 with limited instructions on how to get 100. She is caring but seem under pressure to grade between 70-80. Not all students are serious n learners but some put extra effort.

The professor is direct, responsive, and organized. Her lessons are brief and effective case study discussions. She has a pen-paper midterm, so be prepared to write 1000 words in 1.5 hours of CLOSED BOOK exam. I'm into accounting but enjoyed the HR class. She has an open door policy but mark absent if you miss attendance.

TBH You need to put in significant effort to earn an A. While the professor is approachable, she has high expectations and demands a lot of work. A LOT. This is my second course with her, and I've seen students enrol hoping for an easy B+ with minimal work. Avoid teaming up with them.

I took my first course in fall 2023 second course in summer 2024. I can attest her teaching style has improved and she still cares for her students as much. The way they consider OGL has changed for sure. This is why many of us complained but sadly nothing happened and it's the new ‘norm'. In a sense I'm proud to see my UCW playing hard to get.

Lectures can be dry, but the professor is approachable. The coursework is manageable with the textbook and tools like unstuck AI. Exams are theoretical, hand-written, and closed book. Her classes have BIG student body so going to office hours helps. Overall, a solid GPA booster if you are happy with B range.

Professor Donna is a straightforward person and organized in lessons. She looks at individual merit in a group and that's why I found her fair judgement. We had a very big group. She pays attention to each and holds no interest whatsoever in any laid back excuse from free riders. She gives us good practice before exam and a time off after exam.

Friendly professor, knowledgeable, approachable, but grades strictly and no extensions so don't bother haggling and i think there is penalty by department. I took her class before (622) and taking two more with her (621&623) I love her teaching style and life philosophy. You'll get fair grade but hardly 85+ She treats her students like equals. Midterm is paper based very difficult and also very stressful to write so much on theories there are too many of them. everything from the TopHat book so you must purchase that for quiz also. Most learning is independent so don't miss class discussions I liked spending time in class. Professor will clear doubts even at 3 am.

Late review alert* I took HRM623 in Fall 2024 and it was one of my favorite classes to go. Our class was huge and we had so much interaction. The professor is knowledgeable but down to earth. She is responsive to all questions. If you're a free rider this is not the course for you. It's a difficult course and only for HR enthusiasts.

She is prepared and organized…Course was set up well she repeated guidelines every step For me the midterm exam is tough so don't leave all chapters for the last minute. Dont forget and complete all quizzes and discussion write ups on time. She will give no way to recover those important grades.

Professor Donna is one of the best teachers I found in ucw and listens to all students. She never used a loud voice or derogatory tone to address us at any time and won't get tired of repeating. I have been fortunate enough to have an amazing term and most of my classmates have been supportive and fun to talk.

Donna is exceptional as a person and teacher. I have approached her so many times with different scenarios and each time she rewarded me with a solution that worked like a charm. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Professor for being authentic, knowledgeable, and caring

Amazing lectures with lots of interesting activities. Professor is hands on. We chatted on teams whenever I had issues with bright space or top hat. She responds in a flash. I have been supported by her for a fantastic term. The class is very big but you won't feel lost. One suggestion:chose team carefully if not you'll be stuck doing everything

Professor is the best thing in this course!! She is so polite and respectful. I think course is very different than other subject and I hope they cancel written exam. She brings printed papers for practice and other professors asks us to print ourselves. There is big difference in her style.

She is one of the best professors at UCW—kind, respected, and supportive. She responds to emails quickly, listens to students, and gives timely feedback. Her classes are well-organized and easy to follow. I learned a lot from her and truly appreciated her encouragement. Highly recommend her to all students!

Professor is really good - explains very nicely and gives lots of practices for case study. I missed some ogl because it is my first time but she allowed all to take first ogl again I'm so so thankful for that

The class was engaging and I learnt so much that I can apply in the real world. Just follow the course rubrics & Instructions, do all tasks before deadline, Participate and remember the workload for HRMT 622 is generally heavy. She's approachable, understanding and I was able to improve with sincere feedback.

Professor is really good. Awesome course and great semester. Must attend for all quiz and forum posts it is linked with attendance. But professor is flexible with attendance if you have genuine concerns.

One of my favourite professors at UCW Clearly explains what's expected in assignments. Respects student opinion, no bias whatsoever. Course has lots of theory and we have to buy a book that's only used for for one term so it's financial burden Midterm is challenging but 60 score can be managed easily and try to score for other assignments.

Ready to learn and want quality in subject area, then you need to be in her class.she is timely on feedback and communicates effectively.she is caring and a good teacher and lectures effortlessly. She is vast, highly knowledgeable about the course and able to impact. Follows rubric to the very last. You need to put in the work for good grades.

not so easy to get a B; however, A or A+ is within reach if you read the book a to z & attend during lectures. midterm is challenging assignment. As a professor she is very understanding, calm, and always available to help! Creates a constructive learning environment.

She is an excellent professor hands on with her students she sends plenty reminders for class work and ogl activities midterm is theory based case study so you have to read and learn concepts. use powepoint for recap group prjt is manageable if u got a good team - she will let u choose ur team mates. overall i had a great time in this course

One of the best professors you will ever meet at UCW. She is super approachable and emotionally available. She is authentic in her teaching style and a perfect HR person! Wholesome professor! She is one of the finest. We had the most amazing HR course with her. I recommend her class to you if you're passionate about HR. She will make sure you succeed also wont shy away from constructive criticism. Be mindful of OGL hours and midterm can get lengthy but totally manageable.

I have done two courses with professor Donna and on campus. I love how she simplified concepts for us She never let any one down with feedback and always asks for input. I have learnt a lot and felt at ease in all her classrooms. She is the go to HRMT prof.

Professor Donna is one of the BEST absolute BEST. She is HANDS ON! She is knowledgable, approachable, and so calm in her explanation. I feel safe we all do and she is our favorite instructor among all other courses. ONE downside is her grading is tough, no mercy on missed online activities.

She has been one of my most favourite and trusted professor at UCW. I tried to get in her class after 3 weeks of waiting list. There's something about her class everyone gets along very well and all the while she's been supportive of us. There's a lot to memorize as it's HR specific course. Midterm is very tough. Take ogl seriously. Good luck.

After month long wait I got this professor's class. She is straightforward and very knowledgeable. I'm ready to learn because she is ready to teach. I'm hopeful. I heard she is tough grader but fair enough. Thanks a lot prof for allowing late enrolment
