If you want an awesome professor, take a course with Dr. Christy!

Great teacher, extremely pleasant, and very helpful. Class goes by fast and she explains things so well that even if you didn't know much when you started you will learn before you leave. Can't say enough good things about this professor!

She is probably the only person who can actually make fun. Her lectures are interesting and she truly enjoys teaching. She also takes a personal interest in all of her students and is very accomadating.

There's a reason you can not get into her classes. She's amazing. Try to hardest to get in, even if it means taking a friday class. SHE IS WORTH IT.

Dr.Christy was the best professor i had at ric. She was so helpful and she takes the time to go step by step with you with each problem. If I ever get a chance to take her again I recommend anyone who has an opportunity to take her to do it.

A great caring and devoted teacher. She has experience with young kids, so she knows what she's talking about. She has a way of opening your mind to new ways of thinking about basic Math. Yes, there is quite a few homework assignments, but this prevents you from craming for an exam. Plus, not picky of due dates. Very understandable too.

TAKE HER IF YOU CAN! She explains everything in great detail....if your bad at math it does not matter at all!! Great Professor!!!!

This was the 2nd time I took this course. What a differnece Dr. Christy made! She gave me hope that I could actually pass this class!!! She made difficult material easy to understand. She knows her stuff and is an EXCELLENT teacher. She is very fair and is thorough in her teaching.

Dr Christy is by far the best professor I have ever had in any of my college courses. If you show up for class, pay attention and do the homework you will have no problem. She also gives you points for homework and group work so your grade is not dependent on what you score on the two or three exams and the final. No Pressure!

Hands Down best teacher i had in my life, including preschool. Whoever doesnt give her the highest ratings is nuts.

Very good professor. she knows what she is doing. You will get an A if you do all your homework, and group activites. The tests are easy as long as you study. She gives extra credit and will help you anytime. She is soooo nice. Take her, you will love her.

Dr. Christy is by far the best professor that I have ever had in school not just in college. She made math fun and educational and her tests are easy as long you study. She is so helpful and caring and she just makes math a fun subject. She really knows what she is doing and I would refer her to everyone who needs to take math 143 or 144.

I dont have the exact words to express how good this ateacher is. Everyone dreads Calc. If you do all the homework and there is alot of it,labs, quizes and extra credit and study for the exams which test syou to see if your paying attention you will do fine. I was able to go to her office, email her and always got a quick answer.

Professor Christy is by far one of the best math professors in that department. She is willing to help you, never study for tests got an A in the class, just pay attention and you'll do fine. Gives extra credi. You can't ask for more!!

I would have never taken calculus unless it was with her.She is there to help. Theres alot of hw but she is so flexible on when u hand it in. u can hand it in whenever you want n she doesnt mind. There is no pressure in her class. There are quizzes and a lab or two but they help you for the tests. She tells u exactly what is goin to be on the test.

Had her for 143 144 amazing..hard classes, but she is the best, so caring my dad passed during the semester in 06, she was so understanding and patient with me. She is amazing!!!! I honestly think she's my favorite teacher. She is very down to earth and extremely sweet. She talks about her life and lets you know she is real too. She dressed up for Halloween... it was cute. I wish I could continue classes with her but you should def take some!!!!

By far the greatest teacher i have ever had. willing to help you out with classes even if she doesn't teach the class. extremely fair, listens to students, has a genuine care for her students. DEFINETLY take as many classes with her as possible. i have never heard anyone say anything even remotely bad about her.

She is the best teacher ive had at RIC, she cares about helping the students and is very clear with everything she is teaching. Wont move ahead until your ready. Many take home quizzes which boost your grade up. Also group activities are easy, yet boost your grade up also. I would reccomend her to anyone that struggles in math and needs extra help.

Dr. Christy is one of the best Math teacher's i have ever had. She is very helpful and really nice. She i very leanient on tests and she only gives exams no quizes. But she does give a lot of group work but its really easy. Homework is easy and she gives an answer key with each homework assignment. I WOULD RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE IN ELED CLASSES!!

I haven't had her as a professor, but she is my adviser at RIC for secondary ed. I have NEVER met a woman with a bigger heart. She will do anything in her power to help you and make sure you have everything you need. She is an extremely genuine person and it's always a pleasure to meet with her!

I struggle with math and her class has been so helpful. I made sure to sign up for her math 144 class. She tells you exactly what will be on the tests, she's fair, hw takes a while but she accepts it late if you fall behind. She just wants you to learn. She brings in examples from real classrooms and always keeps your future as a teacher in mind.

Great Teacher. Always using models "from the field" (from children) showing the thought process and other possible outcomes to problems. Assigns homework from the book, but also handouts. Went out of her way to help and make sure the material was understood. Highly suggest this Professor!

The answer keys she provides are extremely detailed. Homework assignments count for very little but are worth it for the practice alone. If you get the chance, don't pass her up.

Professor Christy is amazing! She has way to make you feel like you are made to do great things in this world. Expect team activities at least once week, so don't miss class. I took three exams, not accumulative, and barely any home work. Sometimes her classes can be boring because its easy work, not very challenging. Learned a lot an easy A.

Dr. Christy was one of the best Math professors Ive ever had. During class we had groups that we would work with to solve problems based on what was being taught.
