Very interesting pathos! Great teacher and interesting class plans. Helped me develop a love for poetry, which I previously loathed. Lots of writing and explication but easy tests.Reccomend and would take her again.

I took Prof.DDK for both Fresh Comp1&2 and Am Lit.Her class and test are fairly easy. She assigns 1 research paper in Comp 2 and 1 major paper in Am Lit.There are several short essays in semester, but nothing to hard.Make sure to keep up with your reading.Class is NOT very fast paced.Great class.

In ordre to pass her class, you MUST do the readings. The readings are LONG and BORING! Prof. DDK tries her best help explain the readings, but they still must be done in order to pass her class. This class is very time consuming!

This professor makes the class interesting. I've taken her for 2 different classes. She's a reasonable and understanding teacher. I recommend her for english 1301, 1302 and IDST 2371...mmmkkk? (those that take have taken her or will take her will know what I'm talking about when I say "mmmmkkkk?") ha!

BEST TEACHER EVER! This woman inspired me and made want to work harder, write better, and branch out and read new things. Stickler for grammar and spelling, great teaching skills, loves to help and assigns interesting projects. May hand back papers late, but I didn't mind. Those who do mind are usually the ones whom expect an awful grade. :D

Great teacher, many people dont like her but if you get on her good side you will be her friend. I took her for two classes and would take her again if she taught the classes i needed. Very helpful when writing papers. She can be loud at times but its funny!

Takes FOREVER to hand back work (we got the 2nd test back on the last day of school). Not a bad teacher though, tells you everything you need to know for the tests.

The Best Proffesor HANDS DOWN. She is funny, witty and a genius!!! She passionately explains everything and takes everything outside of the box. She only gives 2 test ( Mid-tern and final) and they're super easy. And gives one essay . There IS NO WAY to fall behind because she does anything to help you. I'm taking her again...

I loved this professor. She is very smart and very informative. Just read the material and you'll be fine. Pay attention when she says "So, notice..." that will more than likely be on your test.

My favorite professor to this day! I took heR for 1301 and 1302. wanted to take her for another lit course but was not able to:( Shes so funny and the greatest at teaching. BEST TEACHER EVER!!!! DDK is so fun.She also teaches you how to write for her class and the future. She also works with you and with your late work. Even if your not the best writer just try and she understands and will still pass your paper. You need your book and attendance is not required but its better for you to pass the class.

Prof. D.D.K. is TheBomb.com! She is so much fun; just be sure to bring earplugs! Just pay attention in class; you may expect to learn great things from her. She has an extremely fine and detailed knowledge of English language and literature, and a broad knowledge of History to put them in context. I looked forward to this class every day!

DDK is a fantastic professor! I learned a great deal in her class. Take it from me you want to take DDK! English is not my thing, but DDK made it sweet. She's very helpful! She makes the class fun (never thought I'd say that about an English class). Do your assignments and put forth a little effort that's all she asks and you'll do fine!

She is a very sweet lady, but she wasn't in good control of the class. Lots of chatter and talking allowed which was distracting. She was way too easy on people and let them turn in assignments super late with no penalty.

I HATE writing essays. But Mrs. DDK is understanding and help you as much as you allow her. She doesn't stress her students out. She is truly a great professor and a get person. SUPER EASY! I had papers from the beginning of the semester that I turned in after the final and I still passed with a B. Super sweet lady super easy class. I would recommend this class to anybody needing a GPA booster and required English Comp.

She is the sweetest lady you will ever meet! Her assignments are very straight forward and she will always be willing to work with you. As long as you at least complete her assignments and get them turned in at some point there is no way you could make less then a B.

Professor DK is a very nice lady. Very approachable. She allows plenty of time to turn in assignments. Assignments are within reason (3 major essays). There are 3 tests total. She is very clear in explaining the material and easy to understand and follow. She is a little disorganized. It's hard to know your current grade in the class during sem.

I took her for 1301 and she was so good that I took her again for 1302. She is wonderful and super easy. The essays she has you do are seriously super easy and if you don't understand she helps you step by step. She's usually absent or late because she goes to the doctor a lot. She makes funny jokes and is so chill. I'm bad at Eng. and got an A!!

I will start off by stating that Professor DDK is a very sweet and caring woman. Her grading seems to be very lax because I received an A. I say SEEMS because I didn't get any assignments back, but that didn't bother me. She's not strict about turning in assignments. I think we a few in class assignments, 3 papers, and a final. 12 items total

Professor DDK is so nice and really cares about her students. She is really good at explaining something that you dont understand and for me personally English is extremely difficult but I took her for Eng.1301 and 1302. She works with you if you dont turn in something on time and she cancels class a lot. seriously TAKE HER! you wont regret it. (:

THE MOST INCREDIBLE ENGLISH TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD! She is incredibly sweet, intelligent, and truly cares about her students. Only a few major essays but are kind of fun to write and she makes it so easy. Take her course, you will not regret it.

Professor DDK is the best. She has that aura about her that makes you smile. She walked through every test question, so as long as you go to class and do the readings you'll get an A. The only students that struggled in the class were those that didn't buy or read the book, but it's a literature course. How are you expecting to pass without reading

Professor Koelfgen is very nice and kind woman. I was the only person in her class that my english was not good and I had some difficulty with english, but she tried explained the assignment for me more than once that I could understand better. Overall my grad was 88. You really learn a lot of thing in her class.

Prof. DDK is an amazing woman who truly cares about her students. She will explain all the assignments thoroughly and is very understanding. She is definitely a prof. You would want to takeeasy assignments and easy class overall.

Take during full semester to get the most out of this prof. Works with you. Gives group review before tests and group in class work, use google docs sharing feature to do the work at the same time, She is the only reason I passed this class take this prof!

I really enjoyed prof. DDKs class. She was very lenient with due dates and was very personable and funny. She made a difficult class feel easy, and would help us do the study guides which lined up exactly with her tests. Great class overall!

Professor DDKs class was pretty to the point. You did your share of essays, quizzes and tests. If you showed up to class, you passed. She gave time after class to help students who were not clear on assignments. She extended due dates frequently also to make sure everyone passed. Funny Professor. Theres no way you can fail!

Professor DDK is such a sweet woman. The work consists of 4 essays, 3 tests, 3 vocab terms, and a few other minor assignments. This is an easy class, but can seem a bit much at times. She is very lenient with due dates. Only critique I have is her grading. She takes a long time to grade so you won't really know what it actually is until the end.

The instructor facilitates the development of the students' writing skills. The assessment will comprise a total of three to four essays. The final grades of all students will be made available on the last day of the class.

The workload is heavy, multiple essays due every other week, but she lenient with due dates. You share quizzes/tests/essays with classmates. You DO get feedback as well. She also doesn't answer emails right away if you have concerns, but she provides class time to ask her questions. She's understanding and very kind. She does grade work a bit late.

I cannot recommend Prof DDK enough! She is extremely understanding and fair! Her class consisted of your traditional core material + group assignments which really lightened the load and made getting through assignments a breeze. Tests, quizzes, and assignments are all graded fairly and not too rigorous. I cannot recommend Prof DDK enough!

Please take my girl Prof. DDK! She serves and leaves ZERO crumbs behind. She is simply outstanding, with a warm delightful personality she effortlessly brings smiles to everyone in her class. Course is composed of multiple essays, tests, and minor assignments, which are manageable and have lenient due dates.

This was a great class, Prof DD-K was great and really explained every assignment well, the due dates are very relaxed and as long as you put a little effort you will do great.

My only complaint is that she's a very slow grader. Gives a lot of time to complete assignments, but is a tough grader. She's a firecracker with a great sense of humor! The papers you'll write are no joke, so take them in small chunks and you'll have no problem. She'll tell you exactly what she expects. I was a little bummed when class was over.

This professor is THE BEST ENGLISH OF ALL ALAMO COLLEGES THIS LADY DESERVES AN AWARD I STG. ngl the essays are heavy but shes serious and offers lots of help responds to emails okay ish but better to ask questions in class honestly Very silly opiniated and please participate in class its really sad when she asks Q's and no one answers.

I took Prof. DD-K english class online has a 8 week course. There are lots of assignments and at times she would add assignments throughout the week. But, she will help you if you reach out and ask for assistance. There were about 5 or so, major essays but multiple disscussions, quizzes, and mini essays.

Sweetest lady ever! As long as you turn essays in on time and stay on top of work, she'll be a breeze.
