She is a fair and excited teacher who will do her best to help. Eng 102 was a lit survey and required several papers. She grades very fairly.
Isn't horribly concerned with the major papers (or the little ones she occasionally assigns, for that matter). Class is very much discussion-oriented and in this manner it succeeds admirably. If you hate him now, you will <3 Shakespeare too!
She's a wonderful teacher and very funny and energetic. Plus, she's a very easy grader and always encouraging. Also is head of the English department.
She does a great job. She is a Shakespeare fan and an aspiring actress who loves literature. If you do your work diligently, you will have no problem pulling an "A" from her. She is a great teacher--take her!

She is a good teacher. Gives you every opportunity to receive an A in her class. Very easy going and wants you to ask questions as much as possible. Very helpful!
she's very unorganized in online classes, if she loses your paper you get an A. She's so busy so she's not too picky on essays...just keep up to date and you'll be fine. She's very nice though. Do the extra credit.
unorganized and at first the class seems overwhelming but its really not bad. in fact she grades pretty easy as long as you do all of the work. she also is an "actress" on the side, so if she has a play going on and you see it, you get extra credit!
prof. accardo is so good at what she does. she involves all of us students and makes us feel as though are comments and ideas are appreciated and inventive--take her, you'll lover her energy!
She is very animated and fun. She absolutely knows and loves what she's talking about. She wants you to suceed so as long as you do the work, you'll pass.
Professor Accardo is one of the nicest and most approachable teachers i've ever had. She makes great selections for class reading, and so long as you try, you'll get a decent grade in the class
VERY organized in online class!!she never answers email and i was confused like the whole time i had the class. make sure u go to class meetings. if u dont wanna be confused then dont take her classs
she wasn't really clear all the time, but she was really cool when i tried to get her to clarify things...she doesn't expect much. just had to write at least 300 words per week, 4 formal essays and a research paper. easy stuff though. highly recommend!
total chill teacher, real easy, only problem she is ALWATS late even on the first day...and she is really hard to get ahold of if you have questions...
Awesome class. She was cool with everything. Clear yet brief. Easy grading. Loves english. Made me feel like i could write really well. Highly recommend!
Prof Accardo is an excellent teacher. She makes the class fun and interesting. I highly recommed taking a class with her.
PROF. ACCARDO IS THE BEST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD PERIOD! TAKE HER! she is SO nice and SO helpful and fills you with the passion she has for english. trust me, you will LOVE her, especially if you're taking her for shakespeare. it can be a little challenging having to read a play every 2 weeks, but as long as you read, you will pass the quizzes.
berry good
She is nice, but if you want to pass this class, you have write journal every weeek to pass it. She teaches well about writing, but because She doesn't have time in class, so sometimes it's hard to understand. Take her, she is a good professor
I love her! Take her.
Accardo is a very good teacher! clear and perfect in everyway. she is bright and cheerful so you will have a good time! makes things fun and really loves english!
I love her. She is always happy and cheerful. The class is not too hard as long as you do all the reading required. She makes the class really fun. Take her!
She is really good!! Take her!!

She ROCKS! It's oblivious she LOVES to teach Shakespeare--enthusiasm oozes from her pores. I loved Shakespeare before this class... Now I adore him and her! I'm working my Spring schedule around her next Shakespeare class! She's always in a good mood. Loves Johnny Depp and Sting.. how could you not love her? "Don't freak, just breathe"
She is the best teacher i've ever met!
She's awesome. Very funny & friendly. Her tests aren't hard as long as u read the plays nor is she a hard grader. She's very approachable that u can solve any problem diplomatically with her.Xtra credit given. there's nothing bad about her or the class. she's one of the coolest & funniest profs i've had. i luv her. She's Donna the Cool Queen!.
Take her, you'll love her. If you hate Shakespeare, she will convert you. You can't help but to be swept up in her love of the Bard. She's the type of teacher you want to be friends with, and one I hope to emulate when I beginning teaching. Highly recommend A+++++++++++
She is seriously one of the coolest professors I ever had during my time at Pierce. I wasn't too keen on Shakespeare before taking her class, but she made me love it and understand it just because she is such a great teacher. THANKS DONNA!!
This was a Shakespeare class. I'm a guy and I came into this class wondering how much I would hate hit. By the second week, I was looking forward to coming to class. She is a wonderful professor who makes the class amazingly fun and interesting. I now have a great admiration for Shakespeare. Take her, you won't regret it.
She talks alot, but she is very funny and helpful.
She is the best English Teacher in College! She loves Johnny Depp and sometimes talks too much, but who freaking cares? She is the best! Just listen to her in class and do homework..Just try and you'll do well. She really cares about you.
Best english teacher ever. she makes english very fun. easy homeworks. she kinda talks alot and her jokes arent that funny, but she is so much fun and loud, not like these other teachers. awesome awesome awesome. easy A, very easy.
she's so awesome. she's funny and silly. always busy so she's often late for class. and if YOU'RE late the first thing she asks is if everything is ok. if you don't love shakespeare she'll at least help you understand it. MINIMAL work. just read the plays and be prepared to discuss in class. she finds your thoughts and opinions interesting.
Love her. Miss her. TAKE her. You won't regret it.
Shes A COOL Ass Teacher one of the greatest TEACHERS ALIVE!TRUST ME YOU WANT TO TAKE HER!
Best English prof. in Pierce College. She is extremely knowledgeable about her subject area. She cares about her students and is a nice lady as well. It is a dream; you will receive 1st grade lecture regarding to Shakespeare's play while get an easy pass on her class all at the same time.
very good teacher goes that extra step for her student!
DONT BUY THE BOOK. you will only use one of her texts once throughout the whole semester. she does a great job explaining and discussing the plays. however participations is required!
Gives Rediculous amount of homework...teacher is very perky gets in ur face if u don't do your homework. Take only if prepared to do minimum 4 hours of homework a night. If you have a job DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!! WORST TEACHER EVER!2 MUCH HW...
I cannot believe how much homework she assigns and her reading quizzes are annoying. You can read the whole play carefully and still not ace the quizzes. She is condescending, intimidating snobbish, & apparently too busy to respond to her students e-mails. I'm not sure why everyone loves her. Ratemyprofessors.com really led me astray this time.
Donna is a wonderful professor. Very nice and helpful. She does give a lot of HW, but it is very easy. She is also lenient, accepts late HW. She let me go early to my doctors appointment. Her teaching is also clear. Had a wonderful time in her class, would highly recommend her for English.
Terrible. Not considerate to people that actually take the time to study and do there homework at HOME. She is more lenient to the students that don't even try, and do there homework in class. Don't be LATE because even if you do your homework and work harder than anybody else in that class, she would still allow you to lose 100 points on a quiz.
She is 1 of the best teachers I have had at Pierce! She's really helpful and I actually loved going to class because she was a fun professor and funny. She does give alot of homework but it's fairly easy. Attendance is a BIG thing for her, and a quiz in the beginning of class, super easy. I wish she was teaching 28 or 101 but shes not. =( pick her!!
Shes an awesome teacher! alot of homework but its easy! she makes going to class fun... i totally would recommend her to anyone wanting/needing to take english 21.... shes helpful and super nice!! she'll make it crystal clear that if you dont want to be there, leave! haha but it was a cool class
One of the Best English Teacher. The Class was easy as it can be, sure there was alot of homework, but the way she teaches made you want to go. I'm gonna try to advance in English so i can take here higher rank class
She's SOOO funny and she really keeps your attention and makes you want to learn!! Great teacher, and mentor!!
Though she does give a lot of homework, which lazy people don't like but it totally helps you in the long run and I learned so much in her class in so little time, She's amazing!
AMAZING, TOOK HER FOR ENG21 AND WILL DEFINITELY TAKE HER FOR ENG101
All of the books are available at the Pierce library so the class is very cheap, no books to buy. She is very helpful and doesn't do email but if you talk to her she will grant extensions on every single assignment. If you tell her you can't make a class or just communicate with her you aren't penalized. She is very easy to work with and friendly.
She helps a lot with the midterms. Don't be afraid to ask ridiculous questions, she will basically give you the answer and she wants to help you succeed. If you at least make an effort to watch the movie or read the sparknotes, you can't fail this class. But she will make you interested in Shakespeare and make you want to read the play.
AMAZING! Take her for any class. She is so helpful, funny, and easily understandable. Yes, she gives a fair amount of homework, but it doesn't matter because its easy. Show up to class though, cause she'll assign random hmwrk sometimes. LOVE HER!
She is very funny and nice. Very easy. Just go to class every week.
She is amazing, she is the best teacher I have ever had. She is passionate and cares about her students. You MUST go to class and BE on time at all times! She respects you, so respect her. I recommend her 100000% You will not be sorry, unless you don't do your homework :]
I've taken many subjects and classes. She really cares and will answer questions. Great reading assignments. She is among the best.
I really moved ahead in my english composition. I'm glad I took her class. She is caring and wants you to do well. She's a hot teacher.
Professor Accardo is helpful, understanding & extremely kind. I took her class 2 semesters in a row because I absolutely loved her class. Reading the text is mandatory for quizzes as well as tests. The 1st exam is quote identification. Two papers(book sources are mandatory, no online research). 1 panel discussion. 1 play review (only 1-2 pages).
Rather difficult with her assignments. You will write 3 papers and one research paper. Expect many in-class essays. She assigns homework spontaneously so attendance is mandatory, since she also takes roll everyday. Would recommend for English majors, otherwise avoid her.
Ms. Accardo is one of my favorite teachers. She has the ability to captivate one's attention in class through her colorful explanations, and every class feels like I truly learned a lesson not just in English, but also in life. She gives a lot of work, so be prepared to write a lot.
The class is very easy, but you have to participate in class to get a good grade. She is crazy about John Depp, so it gets kind of annoying after some time. Make sure to do you work, and she will check them. Her class is recommended if you want to get a B or A with some effort.
One of the best Professors at Pierce. Her lectures are engaging and interesting. I really feel like this class is helping me to perfect my writing. I'm not even done with the class, and I already have more confidence in my skill. She tells you exactly what she wants from you as a student, and what will make your papers better.
I love Professor Accardo! I learned so much in her class! It's a lot of work, but you'll definitely benefit from it and become a better writer if you put in the work. She's always there for you, and her lectures are fun and energetic! Highly recommended!
Prof. Accardo is an excellent teacher. She is exactly what every Lit/Eng teacher ought to be - inspirational. I came out of the class understanding and loving Shakespeare more deeply than ever before. Whether or not you are literarily inclined, you will enjoy this course. You'll find you learn without even trying.
This teacher is amazing I wish she taught more English classes.I had a very hard time with English before this class I learned so much and she made it so easy. You do have a lot of home work but it helps you out a lot. You have a mid term and a final and one pop quiz. Take her she is amazing
Best class ever
Best Professor out there! Loved her class she's funny and keeps it fun and easy yet she knows exactly what she's talking about. Take her!
This is my first class I took from returning from a long break. Definitely a great teacher that will help you to build a great foundation for English. If it is possible then I would like to have her for all my Enlgish classes. Attend class and do the work; you will learn everything you'll need to.
Very good!
TAKE HER
Amazing prof! At the start of the semester it may seem like a lot with the vocabulary and journals but by the middle of the semester you get a hang of it. Everything becomes so much easier! The final I took was based on a book. Super easy class. She is very friendly unless you're rude. She will call you out on it.
Tough subject, this class is more inclined for English majors. The class consists of 3 of what she calls "formal essays" and 1 research paper. Pop quizzes towards the end and you have to go to one mandatory play, plus do journal entrees of the stories she assigns. If you don't slack and do the reading you'll be fine.
The best English professor.
Professor Accardo is one of the most amazing teachers I've had. Her lectures are really insightful and the papers she assigns are interesting. The final project is where students really get to shine as they find an aspect of Shakespeare's works to explain to the class. I always looked forward to going to her classes.
Her English 21 class is very easy!
She was a great teacher, but sometime she confused people when assigning papers and what she expected.
Not the best teacher on campus. Constantly gets off topic with lectures, tough grader and doesn't clarify what exactly she wants on essay papers. Expect to be reading and doing journals everyday. If you don't like writing a lot then don't take her!
You have to write five pages every week for journals. You have to buy 4 textbooks, and she gives out homework all the time. She makes you go to a mandatory play. It's easy just do all the work. I turned in all my work I just didn't go watch a play and still got an A.
The worst teacher ever. She does not respect your hard work and gives you bad grade because you never can understand what she wants for her "Formal Essays". If you are an english major take her and don't take other classes because you can't pass them if you have her English class. Too much work
Impulsively opens textbook end of class and assigns homework so attending class is mandatory. Lectures can tend to go off topic but is entertaining and passionate about literature. Doesn't give out rubrics for essays so it's difficult to know to exactly what she wants. Doesn't give you status of grade either but office hours are helpful for papers
Don't take any English class with her if you want to be treated respectfully. Her obsessional behavior toward every thing in class is terrible.
She gives out a lot of homework and it just ends up piling up if you don't do the readings, but they're not hard. She has a particular way with how she wants you to write the homework and essays. She hates summaries and vague language so you have to be very specific in your writing. I had more work for this class than my two 4-unit classes combined
Didnt learn a single helpful thing in this class. I go to a University and I felt as though I had to dumb myself down for a summer school class. Grades horribly and taught me the opposite of everything Ive learned about writing.
Ms. Accardo is a decent person. I took her English 101 course in the summer and it was daunting. She had to compact all the material in such a small amount of time. She goes off on random tangents and are sometimes very irrelevant to the material we are learning. She is a harsh essay grader. She made us buy textbooks we didn't use.
Get ready to write!!! She is a very good teacher and she make her points in funny ways, but she is in love with shakespear which you can tell how hard things can become. I love her personally, but I found her class more difficult than it supposed to be.
Great class.
I took Professor Accardo's 101 class this past summer, along with 102 this fall! She is such a charismatic and caring person who genuinely cares about her students and gives great feedback along with plenty of opportunities for improvement. Her lectures are so lively and intriguing, I recommend her! Affordable novels used for instruction (bonus)!
She is always available during office hours. She definitely wants you to become a better writer and she wants you to really read literature. Going to office hours was key. When I went, she walked me through how to write my papers.
About to finish class with this Professor and I'm pretty sure I will have to re-take with another Professor over the summer. She assigns a lot of tedious book homework such as taking 20 or so poems you read in a section & writing a quotation from each & explaining it. Very hard to reach to discuss feedback given on essays & the research paper.. UGH
To put it simply, she isn't a good teacher. I've never had any issues with an English teacher in all of my years of schooling but her grading criteria and standards are too fickle to keep track of. I only took her for a five-week online course in the summer but she made those few weeks more stressful than a 17 unit spring semester. Spare yourself.
A good teacher to take! She sometimes doesn't respond too fast during the course, but you can make conference calls and is really available in the first/last week of the course. She explains any answers more clearly through the messages. Lets you resubmit assignments as well!
Online course is a complete mess. Stale grading do not do anything extra. Lot's of work very little clear instruction.
She's not as great as all these comments say she is. If I knew she was going to make you keep journals which you have to write everyday and keep a reading log, isn't necessary work. I would not take her class again.
If you are down to reading logs of an insane amount of plays or whatever, then take this class. Take any professor other than this one please! She has no clue what she is doing and still assigns an absurd amount of work. I wish I could give her a 0. I am warning all students to not take this professor. She seems nice but no...
One of the worst professors I have every had in my life. Horrible use of canvas, insane amount of reading logs and unnecessary work, posts assignments to be due only a few days in advance, extremely hard to get a hold of (will take at least a week to get a response by email...), takes until the end of the semester to post grades, I can keep going.
She has no idea how to run an online course. Horrible professor. She does not consider that her students have lives other than doing her huge reading logs of 40 poems. Do not take her. I am warning you all... for your own wellbeing, find a different professor to take.
Professor does not know how to use canvas and it is very unorganized therefore it is easy to miss assignments. Randomly adds assignments sometimes even the day they are due and does not cover them. Very strict grading, lots of reading, Confusing. She expects all this work to be done yet she takes months to grade assignments. gives no feedback.
Although she is nice, friendly, and kind, she is still challenging. Too many reading logs. If work is late, you are deducted 40%. Think over many times before you decide to take her. Meet her before you take her. Ask her what her class is like.
The teacher makes you do weekly journals about whatever you want. Those to me were so annoying because it was just extra work we had to pile on to the reading we have to do and the reading journals where you have to pick a quote for every three pages and say why that quote stuck out to you. A very nice person overall just gave too much work.
Worst professor Ive ever had in my life. Her work is insane and all over the place. You have to do daily journals and reading logs that are unnecessary. It is also very easy to fall behind if you miss a single assignment and she doesnt consider that students have lifes, the work is super stressful. I 100% do not recommend for your well being.
No instructions, takes months to grade, unreasonable amount of work. Left out a major essay from the final grade. Assigned the final a day before it was due, the same week as two major essays. Vague feedback that makes no sense and indicates she didnt read your essay. Worst professor ever, and I've taken classes at four universities. Don't take her
I cried the night of the online final. It was assigned the day prior. Extremely overwhelming amount of work with very unclear instructions. Not enough time to read such a large amount of short stories, plays, and poems. Many essays, all of which were given feedback that did not feel useful. I was left confused as to why I even had points deducted.
This teacher assigns SO MANY ESSAYS, expects you to read 3 books in 5 weeks, answer discussion posts and a research paper on top of a final essay--the kick is she doesn't grade until the class is over. I was left with over 400 ungraded points on the last week which could change everything. The class ended with things ungraded still!!!
She's an artist who loves teaching this subject. she assigns to much homework. She didnt transition smoothly to online. It was very frustrating having 6 hours of work for a 3 unit class. The only reason why i took her class is because of her ratings .Now im trying to save a fellow student before she ruins another person's gpa and transcript.
I took the 5 week course during winter term. It covered 3 books (including Shakespeare), 1 research paper, and 1 timed essay as the final, as well as various small assignments along the way. The assignments weren't too difficult but there were a lot of them. You'll get a good grade if you follow instructions.
Very good professor. Took her for English 101 Online over the summer. Very easy class to get rid of. Her rating might be low, but surprisingly this online class was very easy. Just do your work and you'll pass with an A online. No problems with her, she seemed very nice and caring. Youll have to read and write essays, but class isn't stressful.
Ok listen. Yes she has bad ratings but..... Her class is honestly very simple. Every week you have a discussion forum and some other miscellaneous assignment. Her essays are easy coming from a person who sucks at writing. I set up a conference with her and she literally dropped everything she had going on to help me. Super helpful.
Took Donna's class in the year 2000. Back then there were no sites to review instructors, so here is mine: I'm now a college professor, and I still remember what I read (amazing books!) & learned in her class. She taught me how to write strong essays (what a valuable skill!). Many thanks Donna! I now know how much work you put in for your students.
Too unorganized for an online class. Her assignments are so unclear and shell give you a 0 for her own mistakes. Overall her feedback is good but shes just not a great teacher. For the winter course she expects her students to read an entire book in 2 days. And 5 over 5 weeks. She says folks a lot which bothers me. 4/10 would not take again.
Class is unorganized in my opinion. Instead of having assignments always set to be due at certain days that stay consistent throughout the semester, the due dates were all over the place. Gave essays the day that they were due, even if they were three pages, and modules can only be seen the day they start at 10 a.m. Not good for planning ahead.
Professor Accardo is a kind person who cares for her students success. There are quite a few books to read and essays to write, though she offers assistance in each step. Discussion assignments are posted each week and there are no pop quizzes.
I think shes a solid middle group teacher but be caring cause she gives a lot of work. She does a good job helping you through the process but it gets really stressful at the end
Don't take her class if you hate reading and writing. For homework we had to write paragraphs, 10 journal pages, read 4 books at the same time, and lots of essays. She is a nice lady but a really hard teacher.
This class is very easy if you're a good reader and writer, and if you manage your time wisely. She assigns a few long projects that are due about a month from them first being posted, and if you do a little bit every day, it's easy to complete. There's several essays that are assigned, and even if you're a bad writer, discussions cushion the grade
I took the summer course with Accardo and it wasn't good. She is not good at organizing her assignments either. I had to do 2 essays, 1 timed essay (final), a 6-page research paper, and two discussions. In other words, things are left to the last minute and sometimes her deadlines are unclear. If you don't like doing hw, don't take this class.
One of the worst teachers I took. If you hate reading then don't take and everything was turned in on paper. If you miss a few classes, then you have to email her or ask a friend what is due. Never put any grades up and you had to wait till the final grade was given.
I took her online winter class, and from my experience with her, she does not have any grading rubric, has unclear instructions, provides little to no feedback, is an absurdly harsh grader, and grades everything last minute. I do not recommend her.
Amazing curriculum and Professor
Professor Accardo was very sweet. I took her class during the Spring of 2023. There were two main pieces of literature, Atonement, which is an amazing read and accessible, and Hamlet, which is a bit more complex for me. Enjoyed the short stories, they were amazing and so full of symbolism. She cares a lot about you and your grade.
She gives a lot of reading, but they are always interesting if you are into literature with symbolism. Lots of homework, mostly short questions. Reading logs. Lots of Essays. Gives good feedback and advice. Your grade will be a mystery until the end of the class after the final. Not internet savvy everything written or printed.
She gives lots of homework and you can't even understand what grade you have right now. A lot of writting and reading and her lectures are not very informative. She repeats a lot and makes terrible jokes. Don't recommend her.
If you are an English major or anything linear, I highly recommend Accardo as a professor. However, if you are majoring in anything else, I do not recommend her. She is very enthusiastic about writing and reading, but that means a whole lot of homework. I cannot keep up with Accardo, so I had to withdraw. She is a fun teacher, but be warned...
AVOID. DO NOT TAKE HER.
WASTE OF TIME. Do not take, even if you are an english major. Class was completely unorganized. Assignments were given randomly at any point during class so attendance was mandatory. Just an unnecessary amount of work for a 3 unit class. An insane amount of yap. Grading was incoherent, unknown until end of semester. Not fun. Take 103 online.
alot of reading
Literally do not take her if you have other classes you need to take (something she told us on the first day there) we had so much to do and barely kept up (i didn't keep up) she couldn't even keep up on her own work she gave us and was so backed up on it! She was kind of nice but also kinda nasty and bitter sometimes. We had to buy 4 books & MLA
Insanely unorganized AND doesn't care for her students to pass. She talks about dealing with mental health issues but isn't empathetic when you're dealing with it because you're drowned in her work.
very particular when grading papers, and doesn't give the best feedback. has like 5 books and she expects you to actually read them thoroughly. might be worth taking only if you're planning it for spring or fall, definitely don't take for semesters shorter than 16 weeks, as the workload becomes almost unmanageable.
Very solid teacher who respects her students. She is active on campus and passionate about English, and she gives great lectures. Workload isn't too heavy, only a handful of papers are assigned. The class has no online elements so attendance is super important! The books covered in English 101 are excellently picked so the reading is very fun!
An amazing English teacher is extremely caring and respects if you have doctors appointment and is very helpful if you have learning disabilities.
doesnt care if you have a break down in front of her, the workload does not decrease. taking more than 2 courses? do NOT take this class, WAY too much work. Still does reading logs in college, will randomly add more quote requirements next class. VERY nit-picky with essays, will ask you to rewrite if she does not like it. NOT worth the struggle.
Sometimes she's really nice, others she can be blatantly rude and unpleasant. Even as one of the students she really likes, she's just horrible to you sometimes. She doesn't post anything on canvas, so if you mess up with putting something in your calendar, good luck. We had 16 pages in a total 3 essays all due in the last week of class. Don't take
If you wanna feel like u wanna kys take this class. Her grading is wack and she makes you ready 4 books and expects an essay after each your gonna how work every time you have class and she's hella picky with how she wants her essays makes you do every the ing on paper and expects a lot don't take her class
Professor Accardo is passionate about English, but the workload can be quite heavy. Attendance is crucial, and the reading assignments can be extensive. I found Unstuckstudy and ChatGPT helpful for study prep. Overall, a solid class, but be prepared to put in the work.
Pretty good lectures… sadly no computers
Save yourself a lot of pain and headache! She was head of department chair in English and got kicked out by all of her peers. They ran a campaign against her because she was extremely abusive. Does the same thing with students. She just makes it up as she goes so she is constantly forgetting what she asked for. Just an incredibly horrible experience
do not take this prof. Has no grading criteria she just one day feels like he wants to give you a fail, and stands behind it. Had to get the dean and the vice president involved. After they saw the grades I was getting on assignments they forced her to give me the grade I deserved. Set a lot of rules and then spend entire the class policing them.
She does not post anything online, so you have to copy down everything she writes on the board and you have to rely on memory. But even if you correctly memorize everything she likes to change things up last minute. She is very passive aggressive and does not go over anything in class, she just likes to argue back and forth with students.
She doesn't use Canva and you can't use anything electronic, it takes a long time to review and you have to read a lot of books.
Her class was ok at first. But when she started assigning work not only was it a lot, but she was very inconsistent about what she wanted. She would give us a writing assignment but would then add more to what we have to do last minute and it just got very annoying/confusing at times. I remember feeling so stressed. I honestly don't recommend.
goodluck to everyone
Terrible class she's very inconsistent with her work, assigns a lot of stuff and doesn't even clarify any of her instructions She also refuses to put any of her material online If you do take this class good luck
If you don't wanna be stressed the hell out, I would avoid this class. She is extremely UNORGANIZED, refuses to post anything on canvas (including grades), assigns homework but ultimately forgets about it or changes what is required constantly, and is HIGHLY passive-aggressive. You will be asked to complete THREE essay within the last two weeks :,)
If you're an 18 year old that will complain about everything, don't take this class. If you genuinely want to learn how to write better take this class. She does give a lot of homework, but she will walk you through how to better your writing. I struggled in english all my life, but I did good in her class. Be willing to learn and you'll do good.
if you're reading this, do NOT take this class for the sake of your mental health and grades. she is the worst and CANNOT give good and helpful feedback back for the life of her. she graded half of my assignments over a week after we were officially done with the course. i literally wanna kms lol
Many written assignments, but she gives instructions on what she expects from each assignment and essay-- if you pay attention to that then you are good. Expect a heavy homework load, 4 ish books, and be prepared to write multiple essays throughout the semester.
Just dont. Thats all u need to know. Avoid at ALL cost, pick another professor lol
