Accurate practice tests, FOUR PAGES of NOTES on FINAL! Lots of extra-credit...

She is laid back, easy to talk to, and jokes alot. realistic expectations and a willingness to comprimise (sometimes) i suggest taking her class.

You will never enjoy math as much as you do in her class. The tests are clear and streight-forward. Lots of extra credit. She does rush towards the end, but makes every effort to help you understand the material and prepare you for Math 31.

I never thought that A i would like statistics, or B that I would do good... This all changed with Professor Lathams class, she is funny and makes people get involved with the class. Highly recommend her to anyone that thinks they cant do stats!

She is the best professor at Sierra College. I love Mrs. Lathaem, she is helpfull and makes the course work easy to comprehend. I would reccomend her to anyone. Everyone take Mrs. Lathaem!!!!!!!=)

She was always late to class. Frequently didn't show up. However, she was a good teacher.

Very funny and interesting professor but was never prepared. Had a lot of things going on outside of school and would miss a couple of classes. Rarely was prepared enough to know about what she was talking about. Though, she does give lots of extra credit.

Very friendly and understanding teacher that truly loves the subject. Also a great teacher when shes prepared. Unfortunately thats usually not the case. Several absences and shoddy lectures caused much confusion in the class, but overall still an easy A.

I took this class online and got an A. I had to put in some time for homework but it was easy and you got to use a cheat sheet on the already easy tests. Decent teacher and helpful.

Easy class! You get a page of notes on the tests. The tests aren't too hard either. She makes you do 1 or 2 case studies(projects) that aren't even hard. She collects random homework assignments, and sometimes gives hints on what she will be collecting. A few easy quizzes during the class.

She is the best cal teacher i ever had. Her method of teaching is really effective. She makes calculus fun and really easy to understand. She also reviewed some of the methods necessary from previous classes. You will never get bored in her class.

Took her online class. The HW was insane but you had plenty of time to do it and the points are in the exams and worksheets which are open note and very easy. Very helpful even though it was OL.

She was a great teacher. I took it in the summer online and had so much fun in the class. She welcomed you to call her and ask questions, which she was very nice when I called her. I felt like she saw me more as a person than just another student. I was able to get an A in her class, which tells you how effective her teaching is!

I took this class online, which makes it hard to rate your teacher. She made herself available, and return most of my emails in a timely manner. However, I believe she over extends herself. The semester is now over and only my first 2 homework assignments and first test are graded which were taken the end of September!

Omg that quote is soo her! She always forgets to post the sample tests, hahah! Her teaching is good when she does, but the class is based on the ALEKS math program where you do all your math online. It teaches you everything.. she's just there for extra help. Nice and funny teacher, but the HW is insane, don't take it if you're fulltime.

Great teacher! I took this class online, which makes it kinda hard to rate a professor, but Donna was the nicest and most helpful professor I have had in a long time. She was a little slow on grades, but probably because she had major surgery towards the end of hte semester. Very willing to help and very easy to contact.

Really great professor, and she wasn't even mine! I took an on-line statistics class with the ALEKS program, and the professor supervising it, for whatever reason, never responded to e-mails. I had the good fortune that she was teaching the same class. She answered all my questions, and helpd me out a lot.

We used the ALEKS system and it worked great for me.I have never been good with math but since taking this class I have gotten an A. It does somewhat feel like high school since she keeps track of whether you are tardy or absent and marks you tardy even if it's a couple minutes. She allows notes on the tests so you just have to take good notes!

I love Prof. Latham. She is the best. She's also very hot which is why she has chilli peppers ;) She teaches amazing. She explains EVERTHING step by step and stops to answer ALL questions so that everyone's clear on what to do next. She's very entertaining and makes us laugh all the time. We love you!

Mrs. Latham is a good teacher but sometimes can waste 20 minutes of class time trying to figure something out.She is very comical and helpful when asked.I especially enjoyed her indian dances. Basically all you have to do to succeed in this class is to write ur whole practice exam on the sheet of paper she lets u use for the test. Mrs.Latham is hot

Best teacher in the entire world! WHo ever said shes not helpful is freakn crazy! She gives her students her cell and house phone # so you can call anytime you have questions. She stayed up till 12 pm helping me with objectives so I could finish them! She is the best HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

really good teacher. she tries really hard to make her students understand. for her online students she has videos that go over how to do every problem which were really helpful.

This class is interesting. All the work is done through the ALEKS system. ALEKS is a well programed system and really makes you learn the material before you move on. I keep falling behind because of the assessments and have given up alot of free time to working on it but if you can keep up on the topics and deadlines you shouldn't have a problem.

Took this online, class uses online software called ALEKS. Latham is extremely helpful - only teacher I have ever had that encourages you to call her. I did a few times and she was patient and nice! You have to stay on top of your objectives or it will be impossible. She has videos if you don't understand. Take her if you want to learn!!!

All previous comments are correct. Donna Latham is a Great Professor. Not only is her passion teaching, she truely cares about her students. Double Plus - especially with a Math instructor due to my math phobia. You'll Love her.

All i have to say is she's great. Seriously, prolly one of the best professors i've had. She's extremely understanding, very helpful, and lenient. Just make sure you stay on top of the "objectives" because thats the only thing that affected me. But other than that, I greatly recommend her! She's awesome :)

Latham was a great teacher. The class I took used the Aleks system which is a computer mediated math program, but it was great. Professor Latham was always willing to help, and had a good sense of humor as well.

She is great! If you are willing to work she will make sure you understand, goes out of her way to help. Also she is professional in that she does not use profanity. Very nice!

Prof. Latham is an interesting woman. She's very helpful, and she's also very animated so class time is a lot of fun. We used the Aleks system on the computer, and I've honestly never understood Algebra better than I do now.

I took the online class last summer and it was a fast paced class. She was a wonderful teacher even though it was online. You knew she would want to help you by giving out her number or posting how to solve problems when people would have issues. Each exam I was able to take until I got an A. I would recommend this class for sure! Awesome.

Prof Latham is an extremely funny person. She keep it real when students interrupt as well! I loved the class and learned a ton of stuff I though I'd hate, but ended up enjoying it in the end. She is easily sidetracked, but always gets back on topic and makes the class fun.

I took her online statistics class. She uses the ALEKS system which is easy to use and although it was an online class, Donna makes herself more than available to help her students who are struggling. She lets you call, email or even text her at anytime. I barely passed Math D and I got an 87% in her stats class. Loved her!!

Ok. Latham is not the worst teacher, and not the best either. She was just ok. She was definitely disorganized the semester I took her, but between her and my awesome study group, I learned a lot. She is a good person, and is willing to help you, and makes herself very available to students (she even gave out her phone #). I don't regret taking her

A sweet gal with a sense of humor and a real desire to help you learn. If you need help, you do need to ask though! Was a hybrid/Aleks course so most teaching was done individually. Make an effort in the class & she is more than willing to help you if you're in a tight spot (esp deadlines). Took attendance well into the semester which was lame...

I took Prof. Latham's ALEKS college algebra course. It is easy to get an A if you keep up with the course material (which WILL BE time consuming). Tests are super-easy if you do the practice exams first. She is very willing to answer questions and her explanations are very clear. My only criticism is that she is always late to class.

Donna is a funny and likeable teacher, but she often forgets what she has done is class and what she plans on doing. I took this class over the summer and I got an A. Quizzes are in groups (super easy) and she gives you a study guide before the test that says EXACTLY what will be on the test, if you do these problems the class will be simple.

Prof. Latham is very tough and very strict with the attendance. She gives homework every class and it counts in your final grade. The textbook is necessary since the first class so you better get it in advance. She gives in class reviews to keep you in track though. If you take notes and don't miss any class you'll do well.
